On a private GUN owned island not far from San Francisco; Robotnik was overseeing the GUN forces moving the remains of the Egg Carrier along with the other resources to the island that it could be rebuilt into a private lab and robot factory for him. "Be careful with everything you dolts... That is highly advanced technology that I have spent my life working on and this is what remains of what was supposed to be my crowning achievement in saving the world that I was stuck on from the threat once and for all..." Robotnik then ordered as he checked the status on his gauntlet. "It may take a week at most to get this factory up and running and I had kept on the Egg Carrier, several past projects of mine to consider upgrading for use again... Barely several in good enough condition to use..." Robotnik muttered shaking his head as he looked through the database and Stone went up to him.
"I think it will be fair to warn you Doctor that since you were able to come up with that tank in such short time; the Secretary of Defence will expect you to have something soon and I don't know if he will wait until your factory is up and running..." Stone warned Robotnik as Robotnik then shook his head. Then came a GUN soldier.
"Doctor; where do you want us to place the orange robot?" asked the soldier as Robotnik was acting flippantly towards him as he just focused on his database.
"Just place it..." Robotnik said but his eyes widened as he put his sunglasses up. "Orange robot? Show me..." Robotnik demanded as he was shown to a pod carrying a bipedal yellow and orange robot (with bits of brown along with blue lenses for eyes and 3 white dots on its chest) that didn't look anything like any robot that he had created.
"We found it buried in the ground when searching a trace of one of those energy sources... The energy source wasn't able to be found though but we hope that this could be of use to you again. The pod looked to be buried for a long time..." the GUN soldier explained as Robotnik started to grin.
"Ah yes... An old forgotten project of mine... I can make use of this..." Robotnik then claimed as he pointed where to place the pod. "Shame about not being able to find the Chaos Emerald..." Robotnik said as he planned to get to work seeing about having the robot programmed to obey him as well as study him.
In a grass field outside of San Francisco; the Wachowskis had gone out on their truck with their little alien guests to set up a picnic. Tom was setting up a barbeque while Maddie and Jojo were setting up a blanket. "The sandwiches that you made looks just delectable Maddie..." Cream said with joy in her eyes as she looked at the picnic basket while in the middle of collecting flowers.
"Just wait until you get the smell of these doggies... Yep I have won contests back in our old small town home with my chill dogs! I was the sheriff and the BBQ King!" Tom boasted as he was working on cooking some hots dogs as well as a pot of chilli that was on the grill.
Soon Tom was done with the cooking and Ozzy had to be held back from the grill as he felt the smell on his nose. "Easy boy... Plenty for everyone..." Maddie told him as Jojo was given her hot dog. "Jojo; you think that you can tell our other friends?" Maddie asked her as she and Cream were given their hot dogs.
Jojo nodded as she then walked a little bit to near where the picnic was being held; walking past a holographic projection as Sonic was looking at Tails going through the damaged parts of the Tornado. "...Sorry Sonic; I might have been able to put it back to it's full condition if I had the resources of my lab back on Mobius... But as it stands even with the junk parts that we have been finding; we might have to downsize it to get it working order..." Tails told Sonic with a sigh as Sonic gave him a reassuring pat on the back.
"Don't worry Tails; do your best and we can make do with what you can do!" Sonic told him as Tails then gave a smile.
"Dad's done with the cooking." Jojo told them as they then went to join the rest of the picnic with Cream having finished her hot dog and was now working with the flowers that she had collected.
"Something smells good..." Sonic said feeling the smell of not only the barbequed hot dogs but the smell coming from the now open pot that was next to it.
"Oh, you are interested in a chilli dog? Made with Grandma Wachowski's famous recipe..." Tom told him as he put a hot dog in a bun and got a spoon to pour some chilli into it.
Sonic accepted it and took a bite before staring at it; "I'm in love... Where have you been all my life..." Sonic muttered as he scarfed it all down and they laughed. Jojo then saw Cream offering a crown made out of flowers to her as she accepted Cream putting it on her head.
"I have made plenty for everyone..." Cream said as they they all smiled but then saw a figure flying through the air and spots them It then flew down and it was the robot that GUN had given to Robotnik earlier. Tom and Maddie then immediately had Jojo and Cream stand back as they were scared while Sonic looked like he was ready to fight as Tails was perplexed.
"So; that's one of Robotnik's... Isn't it?" Maddie asked feeling like they all knew the answer.
"Must be a new one; don't remember any being like that..." Tails then said thinking it over as Sonic shook his head.
"Well it will fall all the same..." Sonic said as he then rushed towards the robot as a Spin Dash and it sent the robot back. The robot then got back up and then punched Sonic as he then went for another one. Sonic then jumped and kicked at the robot which it blocked with its arms and then as Sonic started sending kicks and some punches at it; it then started dodging.
Tails thinking fast got a blaster from his backpack and started firing at the robot as it turned and was now dodging. "Sonic... I think it's studying and adapting to our moves..." Tails then yelled as Sonic then smirked as he then ran up to the robot's back and punched it hard sending it down.
"Well it just means that I have to mix things up again; tag! You're it!" Sonic then said as the robot then started following Sonic as he ran at super speed. Sonic then turned and pushed the robot further and it ended up crashing to where the cooler was and it opened up and the energy of the Chaos Emeralds made it stop. "That was anti-climatic..." Sonic then muttered sounding disappointed.
"Well... For now... Can we finish our picnic..." Maddie asked hoping that they can end this on a good point and they nodded.
Later they all returned to the house and the robot was taken with them. In the living room; Tails had found a port to hook the Miles Electric to it while Cream brought a flower crown to it the robot's head. "I was thinking that he should feel welcome; not his fault that Robotnik made him to be evil..." Cream said innocently as they smiled at her words.
"Well I don't think that he did... I found an override signal that Robotnik programmed into it that the Chaos Emeralds disengaged... The robot is known as an Emerl series Gizoid and it's pretty advanced systems and programs... I think that Robotnik only found him and put in the program to find and destroy Sonic and I... There are objectives here that I don't understand... Designating something called 'the Black Arms' as enemies... Still pretty advanced..." Tails then said as they took this in.
"So did this Chaos Emerald teleportation take this Emerl robot to Earth as well or was there an alien robot hidden on Earth that we didn't know about..." Tom asked looking like he was just done at this point.
"Possibly... I am not sure and it could take a while before I am able to get it to working order or to fully understand the robot... It's now in sleep mode but once it's reactivated; he could give us some help..." Tails then replied as they thought it over.
"So alien visitors and now a robot... Why not?" Maddie said jokingly as Tom just sat down on his chair.
"Emerl is going to love it here!" Jojo then said excitedly as Sonic grinned.
"This could be fun... Another new friend that I first fought..." Sonic said cheerfully.
"Yeah great... Another?" Tom then asked incredulously as the humans looked to Sonic and he and Tails laughed.
"Maybe red quills is here somewhere as well and I can tell you the full story..." Sonic then suggested as the Wachowski parents just shook their heads while Jojo was pleading for the story to be told right now.
On the island Robotnik was being given; he marvelled at the facility set up and it was at work starting to build the Badniks with it's factory settings. He was with Commander Walters; "I can't thank you nor the Secretary enough for all of this and I promise that you won't regret it. You shall have a robot army able to take on and eliminate all alien invaders from this planet!" Robotnik then smirked to Walters who nodded back to him.
"I sure hope so; we are putting all the trust on you Robotnik and with you back home on your birth planet; we know that you won't let us down!" Walters said as he then left and Robotnik saluted him. Robotnik then went to his new main computer and shook his head.
"Lost the Emerl robot's signal but GUN thinking that it was my creation was used to be my advantage... A copy of it's program and the scans of it shall be useful for further projects... But funny how Commander Walters says that he has given me all the trust in the world when GUN lied to my face about not having found the Chaos Emerald and are keeping it in a facility..." Robotnik muttered bringing up a GUN file about the facility where they are keeping the Chaos Emerald. "What kind of foolish idiot do the Secretary and GUN take me for... Do they really think that I wouldn't notice them deceiving me... I have deceived plenty and betrayed plenty of simpletons so I should know when it's being tried on me... Plus their security is flimsy; I could have hacked into these files when I was only 13... Still it means that I know where the Emeralds that GUN get their hands on are or will be kept..." Robotnik said as he put up a video file of Walters and the Secretary of Defence talking.
"Keep a close eye on Robotnik; once the hedgehog is neutralised then he is to be taken care of! I want GUN to find anything that they can on the history of Robotnik and this blue hedgehog... I don't doubt that he created it and see what work that Gerald Robotnik was involved in that also got into his grandson's hands..." the Secretary ordered Walters and he saluted.
"That begs to the question though... What other work had my grandfather been working on beyond the dimensional portal technology does the Secretary think that I have and he seems so sure that I had created Sonic..." Robotnik whispered to himself quite perplexed as he put his hands together.

The animation, designs and look all look good and Shadow looks impressive for an indie fan project. Plus the English dub features Mike Pollock himself! I love when fan projects have actual franchise actors involved like recently the amazing Power Rangers Unworthy series recently had a spin off movie called the Psycho Menace that featured Andros voiced by his actor from the show Christopher Khayman Lee himself!
