Part 5 - Meeting The Elders And Imprint
Next morning, Hermione woke up refreshed and very much herself again, at least on the way to be herself again more. She went ahead to take a shower, before getting dressed for the day, in normal pair of jeans, a sweatshirt over her t-shirt, and she also picked out her shoes for the day.
As Jared told her last night before she fell asleep, she was going with them, to the council hall to meet up with the Elders, his pack-mates and the few imprints that existed for now in the pack. Including one that was not a imprint, but had involved herself in everything, due to dating a leech, a veggie leech, but still wanted also to be with Jacob Black, whom was too weak to stand up for himself to say no or stop falling in love with the said human girl, whom seems to play both Jacob and this leech's heart for her selfishness.
She got downstairs, and sat down next to Jared, and whom gave her a warm smile and quick morning to her, and she smiled and said it to everyone in the kitchen there, and they all smiled at the sight of her smile, and that she seemed to be more herself too. Not like yesterday after arriving with the airplane and tired of the time difference and so forth.
After breakfast had been eaten, dishes been washed up, and the others getting ready aswell, Jared took her ahead of his parents to the council hall, and when they arrived only the other Elders were in there, and she stood by his side, as they were looking at her in wonder and confusion of whom she might be, and they didn't have to ask or wonder, for Jared then said after seeing their looks too;
"This is my cousin, Hermione, she was my uncle Daniel's daugther, sadly Uncle Dan died a year ago in a plane crash with my auntie, Emma, Hermione's mother."
At that she was greeted rather warmly by them all, and one of them said
"You know about the boys already, Ms?" Hermione smiled, before she said
"I know because of my own special abilities, that I know you are being watched by the MACUSA; as I am part of that world of magic, sir. I am a witch, good and light witch to borderline grey magic when needed."
At that the most gasped or stared at her in shock, as Jared said
"She was part of the wizarding world war in England just months ago. She came to stay here with us, as her life there was pretty much over with, as her parents, my aunt and uncle no longer is with us."
Hermione kissed his cheek, before she took a seat next to him, and the council looked at her in shock still, as she said
"I can show you my magic if that makes you to believe in me, like you do in these boys' with their own abilities."
And with that she pulled her wand out and up in the air, before she waved it, and around them they all could see flowers growing and then a slight bang as a wolf formation showed up. Jared gasped at the sight of the wolf, and turned to her, as she said
"This is my patronus, if I was a dark witch I wouldn't be able to do this spell, for if I was to do and being a dark witch, all you would see would been a disformed form of my wolf. She is my form in animagus aswell. Very similiar to Jared and the boys' are, just slightly different from theirs."
At that most of them were in shock of her words, as Jared looked at her, and she stood up, and then all the sudden a beautiful white wolf with some black, brown and silverish tones in the fur was before them. And they all gasped even the pack and Jared's parents who just arrived to see this, and Jared's mother, Maria said
"Who is t-that, where is Hermione?" Jared said
"That there is Hermione, Mom. She is an animagus, and that is her form."
"My goodness gracious alive, Oh Mione, You are beautiful."
Hermione came back as human, as they all closed their eyes, they didn't need to for she said
"It is OK; I am not like the boys' naked when coming back to their human form."
"You get to keep your clothes on, how?"
One of the boys' said, and she looked at him to tell him, when something shocking happened before everyone's eyes, and Hermione gasped when she felt it whatever it was happened, for her heart began to beat faster for a moment and she looked at him with tears in her eyes. He in turn had only shock, wonder and love on his own and inside of himself aswell.
"Yes For I am not like your wolves, whoever you are, and I can spell yours to stay on when phasing if you like aswell."
"Please do." The Eldest looking boy or man said in a hard tone, and Hermione rolled her eyes, as she then did the spell, and she said
"There done. Now you won't embarrass yourself or others including girls around you." She chuckled, as she then turned to the boy whom she had been in an eye-lock before, and said shocking them all;
"SO you imprinted on me? What is your name?"
Jared smacked his head, as she knew about it from him, what it look and felt like, but he was very pleased and happy for the two. The boy himself said
"My name is Paul Lahote, and how did you know about that?" Hermione smiled, making his hard stance melt alittle away, and she said
"Jared told me, as he is my cousin, Paul. So you are his best friend and brother in everything but blood?"
At that Paul nodded, as she then said
"And I, Hermione Jean Granger-Dagworth-Cameron, accept the Imprint, as I should for if I don't the conquenses will be harsh onto us both. So mote It be."
And she waved her wand to show her oath had been working and went ahead to work. Paul felt its acceptance and he smiled widely, as Jared said scolding her
"Why on earth did you do that, Mione, you didn't have to oath on your life and magic for the imprint?!"
Hermione just smiled at him, and said
"I didn't do that way, Jared, it was just to let the people of my world of magic, as in the MACUSA to know that I am an Imprint, and therefore off limits for good by anyone else's means to take me from him, J. As of today and now, I am now a citizen of the US, my citizien with the UK ended today. They have no chance to bring back there for any reasons, unless it is I who choose to go back there as in a vacation."
At that most were shocked of her tale to Jared, while she then said
"Paul, you and I are imprints and mates for life, but we don't know each other, so why not begin as friends and see where it goes for us both?"
At that Paul nodded, and said
"I can accept that, as I do agree that we don't know each other yet."
Hermione nodded and the others were just pleased and very happy for the two, as they knew that Hermione would help his temperement issues, and he with her insecurities and to calm down abit aswell.
Jared then hugged both of them, and so did Maria and Nick, her aunt and uncle, as they were happy for the two. Very so indeed, and the people back in UK would get the same message aswell.
With that the meeting was over with, at least with the Elders, and the Pack including Hermione now went off to Sam's place, as she got to know everyone's name, except that this Jacob was not there today. For she learned he was with the leech lover, and she was shocked to hear that this girl was not even his imprint, but still felt the need to be with her, thinking he was in love with the said girl, whose heart clearly thought to belong to the leech, Edward Cullen.
