Chapter 8

Ukyo was worried. She had seen Izuku the other day, floating throughout the city like once before, but she had heard of the fight he had with Ranma. She had seen him the next day at school, worn out and beaten. If anyone brought up Izuku, Ranma would get rather mad and walk off, not bothering to say much.

When Ukyo had seen Izuku, she had called out to him. To find out what had happened. Ranma wouldn't talk to her about it and Izuku was the only way she could find out. He had floated to her window, like he had a couple of times before.

"I don't know. We were dealing with that old guy. I knocked him out and Ranma got upset." Izuku explained. "He attacked me, demanding I fight at full strength. So I did. He tried to hit me with dirt, blind side me, anything to get a hit in, but I stopped him. I'm sorry. I know he's your friend, Kounjie. I really am." that's all he said as he floated away.

She was worried, because she felt that if this continued, one of the two were going to kill each other and she felt that it was going to be Izuku. When he spoke to her, he sounded so tired. His voice was monotone, his body slumped. Izuku needed to stop and that day with Ranma had been the closest to doing so. That's when she came up with a plan. That night, she had written letters, actual letters, to the amazons, to Akane, and she swore to herself she would find Ryoga before he disappeared.

The next day, she was dragging Ryoga into her restaurant, with both party's waiting for her there. "What is this about, Ukyo?" Akane asked, confused.

Ukyo had Ryoga sit down on one of the bar stools before sighing to herself. "Alright look. Ever since Izuku arrived, Ran-chan's been going crazy." she said, closing the restaurant down for the day. "Izuku's getting tired, I can see it. And at this rate, I'm worried they're going to kill each other. Or worse."

Cologne bounced forward, a grave look upon her face. "Yes. I do agree with you, dear. Midoriya is slowly becoming an obsession with son in law. How is he taking this recent defeat?" she asked, looking pointedly at Akane.

She looked down into her lap, a solemn look on her face. "Not well. He's not eating. He spends all his time in the dojo." she closed her eyes. "He's not going to be going to school anymore. Ranma and Uncle Saotome got into an argument about it and Ranma said he's not going to stop until he beats Midoriya."

"Ranma win, only take time." Shampoo said in her broken speech.

Moose frowned, pushing his glass up on his face before speaking. "Had we just killed him when we had the chance, he wouldn't be even stronger than he already is." he growled before looking down.

Ukyo shook her head. "That's not going to get us anywhere! We need to make Izuku stop."

"Izuku? Using first names now, Ukyo?" Akane asked, trying to liven up the mood.

"Not the time, Akane." Ukyo said. "Look, I think our best bet is to make izuku stop for a moment and get the two to actually sit down and talk. Izuku might be able to help Ranma and vice versa." she looked amongst them.

"I'm not going to help you." Ryoga said, standing up. "I'm not going to help Ranma get stronger."

"Didn't Izuku help you with something?" Akane asked. "Ranma mentioned it the last time you fought." Ryoga stopped for a moment. "Please, for me?" Ryoga closed his eyes for a moment, sighed and sat back down.

"I think we need to subdue Izuku." Ukyo said. "If we can do that, then we might be able to get the two to finally talk properly. Put both in a room until they actually talk things out."

Cologne chuckled. "What, and have all of us attacked him? Only three of us are actual fighters."

"Hey!" Ryoga shouted.

"Shampoo can handle herself well, Ryoga was trained by me purposefully and myself." Cologne said.

"Hey!" moose shouted.

"The point is that this isn't going to be easy." Cologne said. "If we do this, we need as much attack power as possible. We need to subdue him." Everyone stopped for a moment.

"We could talk to him?" Akane asked.

Ukyo shook her head, "no, we don't know him well enough to just convince him to do this. I've only talked to him twice myself." They sat in silence for a moment. Trying to come up with something.

Cologne sighed for a moment before bouncing forward. "We have to send him home."

Akane raised her head up. "Send him home? Do you know where he lives?"

Cologne looks amongst them before sighing. "No, Izuku Midoriya is not from this world." Everyone was shocked. "The night Ranma Saotome found Izuku Midoriya was the night that he arrived. The world Izuku comes from is full of heroes and villains. Supernatural powers. He was forced into this world, with no way to go back. Ever since his arrival something has been trying to break into our world, something is trying to follow him. He's trying to go back, but has no idea how to do that."

Everyone stopped, their breaths catching in the throats. Ukyo felt herself becoming slightly faint. Ryoga was tapping his fingers, but stopped to listen. Akane's eyes were wider than dinner plates. After a couple of minutes, Ukyo finally spoke. "Then we let him know we're willing to help."

After a couple of minutes Akane spoke. "Ya, but will he be willing to accept our help?" Everyone turned to her for a moment, "I mean, Midoryia doesn't seem to be the kind of person to ask for help."

Ukyo placed a finger on her chin in thought before she finally sighed before giving an answer, "I think we still have to try. Ranma and Izuku could kill each other if we don't stop them." she slammed her fist into her palm. "At this point, Ranma is obsessed with beating Izuku. After what happened yesterday? If Ranma attacks him again…" her words were left unsaid.

"Saotome is a sore loser." Moose said, Folding his arm in frustration, "I hate to say it, but in my times trying to fight him, he is willing to use underhanded tactics to win. From what I have heard, Izuku still beat him." Moose pushed his glasses up on his nose before he layed back in his seat.

"Aye! Stupid Moose, Ranma to too good at fighting." Shampoo said, resting her head on her hands, her eyebrows crossed. "Ranma win soon."

Cologne closed her eyes before speaking, "I don't know what we can do to send the boy back. His arrival has caused a flux in the world we live in. we must find a way to send him back." she clutched her staff tighter, "we must."

Ryoga's eyes narrowed before standing once again. "Then let's stop talking about it and do it!" He stood once more before making his way to the front door of the restaurant. He held the door open before turning to the rest of the people inside. "Let's stop a hero."

A/N: hey guys. smaller chapter, longer wait, i know. sorry about that. lately, iv been struggling with my writing, mostly just getting the motivation to seat down an write. i know how this story is going to go, with about twenty more or so chapters. this story will have an ending and if people want it, a sequel in mind, but i'm just taking some extra time to get to that point. this story wont be abandoned, I promise. its just taking me a bit to get my fat ass up and writing again. that being said, lets get to the Reviews, ya?

Monster King: Awesome work.

Kain: thanks, i appreciate the complement.

Djinn: Great new chapter, it is izuku's nature to try and help people at the cost of his own health, unfortunately eraserhead and all might have not been able to force the lesson into izuku that his life is important and if he is not at his best he won't be able to save anyone.

Kain: well said. that is also the main topic of next chapter, though im worried about how people will react to it.

Chronosign: what every woman says they want izuku to do to the old man: YOU CAN DO IT! SMASH HIS F*****G BALLS OFF!

Kain: first of all, yes and second of all, i feel that's a reference to something, but i cant remember off the top of my head what it could possibly be.

allright, normally i say everything at the start, but i want to make this known before i publish the next chapter in about two weeks. that chapter has the first out of character moment i feel i have written, though the scenario i have written out and built up to makes it feel like it is something that could happen. i for one will understand if you guys don't like it, but after a month or so thinking about it, its the only way to convey the idea of the story with out it being a pull from nowhere.
