Author's note: It's time for chapter 8, gentlemen. So far, i am enjoying writing this.

The trio entered the car. But then Aaron Cash started speaking to them. "Guys, that crazy son of a bitch Jervis Tetch just walked into the precinct and handed himself in. He says he's taken hostages, wants to talk to ya'll. And apparently, he knows the Van Der Linde gang, too." He said. Who is Jervis Tetch? Arthur thought to himself.

"We're on our way. Don't let anyone speak to him until we get there." Batman replied. Great, the search would have to be put off for a bit. The car zoomed along the road to the precinct. The shutter doors opened, and they drove in. They park and get out, then proceed to move to the doors, with a sign above them saying "Holding Cells."

There were criminals and militia, in the cells. They shouted threats to them. But they ignored them and continued to the other set of doors. They walked through and approached the desk where Cash was waiting.

"What's wrong." Dutch asked. "We got Jervis downstairs in the interview room. He's talking about killing cops. Boys, i just lost contact with 3 of my squad cars. Coincidence?" He asked.

"I doubt it." Batman said. "If you lot and that freak need some alone time. I can kill the surveillance cam." He said. They ran past the giant cell in the middle of the room. The other Van Der Linde members were at a corner near the evidence room. Abigail was now crying her eyes out, while John did his best to calm her. But deep down, he was on the verge of tears too. He had not been a good father to Jack, yet he was saddened and guilt ridden by the fact that the militia and Scarecrow have him. Abigail suddenly launched herself into John's arms and sobbed into his shoulder, and he hugged back, as a single tear finally ran down his face.

Arthur saw this, and he began to worry if Crane had already killed Jack and Tilly, and maybe even Barbara too. As he was in thought, Molly walked up to him from behind. "Arthur, could i have a word with ya?" The Irish girl asked. "Sure, I guess. I'll be out here while you 2 talk to that Jervis Tetch guy." Arthur told Dutch and Batman. They nod in understanding and enter the Maximum Security area. "Alright, now what is it?" Arthur faced Molly.

"I'm just very worried. About Dutch. From what I heard, this place is one of the worst cities in America." She said, worried. "Please don't let anything happen to him.""You have nothing to worry about, Ms O'shea. Dutch has survived chaos before, and I don't doubt he will again." Arthur reassured Molly. Just then, Dutch and Batman came out from the Maximum Security area. "We got a problem, Arthur. That Mr. Tetch does know who we are after all." Dutch said, looking a bit nervous. Which was unusual for him.

"Oh great." Arthur muttered.

Earlier

Dutch and Batman approached the Mad Hatter. He was rather small and had an ugly big green hat.

"Oh, frabjous day! Callooh callay! The good guys are here! It's time to play!" He spoke, which actually made Dutch feel unsure of himself for once. "We're not playing your twisted games, Jervis. The hostages, where are they?" Batman asked. "Let's see, let's see, oh, one, two, three!" He raised his fingers and counted them. "A hat-trick of your boys in blue. Do they live or die? That's up to you two." He said.

Batman reaches over the table and grabs Jervis by his vest, and lifts him off the seat with ease. "What have you done with them?" He growled. "Such violent means, but all in vain. I've trained my mind to feel no pain." Jervis countered. "Let's put that to the test." Dutch said as he reached for his revolver. Batman was about to stop him until Hatter chuckled.

"No use for your guns, Mr. Van Der Linde. You need me in order to find the boys in blue." He said. "Then tell us where they are." Dutch said. The Dark Knight then throws Hatter back into his seat. "Oh, boys. Allay, your fears, prick up your ears, you'll soon hear their tears. Just listen for the Siren's Song. Yes, you'll both find your Alice's before too long. And remember to bring the Yellow Jacket, Mr. Morgan with you." He finished.

They both walk for the door and leave Hatter to his demons until they return.

And now

"So now we have to search for the hostages." Dutch told Arthur what had happened in the room. "Just when this night couldn't get any worse." Morgan said. "Well, let's go. Their lives depend on it." Dutch said, and the trio ran throughout the building until they reached the car in the underground parking garage and drove out of the precinct into the night. "So what are we looking for?" Arthur asked.

"Something called the Siren's Song. I have no idea what it is." Dutch said. "Well, whatever it is, we need to hurry. Who knows what Scarecrow has done to our friends." Arthur replied.

Strawberry 1899. Death of Micah Bell

Micah Bell was dragged out of the building of the Strawberry jail and was getting his ass hauled to the gallows.

"I'll kill you twice!" He snapped at a guard but got a rifle butt to his jaw. He groaned in pain and was moved towards the hanging.

There was a big crowd in front of it. With the sheriff next to the noose. As soon as they were there. The guards forced Micah up the stairs. Once they were at the noose, a deputy tied the rope around the outlaws neck.

"Citizens of Strawberry. We gather here today to witness the hanging of the outlaw Micah Bell. He has murdered, robbed, abused animals and children he met across the country. Today, he joins his father and his father before, in Hell." The mayor said. Micah was getting nervous. He saw no sign of the Van der Linde gang in the crowd. "Micah Bell. Do you have any last words?" The mayor asked.

"Yeah, I'll meet you all in Hell, and I'll kill you for eternity!" He said. "And I admit I was the one who set up the Ferry heist in Blackwater on my own gang." Micah said. But then his mouth was covered with a rag, silencing him. "And today, he swings. Micah Bell III. May God in all of his infinite wisdom have mercy upon your soul."

Knowing he was about to die, Micah started to hyperventilate, then he saw it. A black rattlesnake looking at him from the crowd with its black, cold, dead eyes. That was the last thing he saw before the floor under him gave way, he choked and gasped for breath.

After a few minutes, he stopped moving. The crowd started clapping their hands. Micah Bell was dead.

Author's note: Sorry it took so long to update again. I will continue working on the Wonderland side mission. And I figured that you guys would want to see Micah die. So there you have it. Until next time, gentlemen.
