Author's note: I should have said this in the first chapter; I am going by how Arkham Knight was played. But there might be a surprise for the Deathstroke tank battle

Arthur, Batman, and Dutch finally made it to the orphanage where a group of thugs was waiting for them.

"There they are!" One shouted. They fought hard, and soon, all was down except for 1. Batman approaches him and grabs him, then throws him onto the ground and plants his foot on his face, threatening to crush his skull.

"Riddler has Catwoman. Tell me why." Batman said. "I don't know anything. I swear! I just tied her up and left her inside." He said. "Why?! What's Nigma's play?" Batman asked again. "I ain't got a clue! I just brought her here and planted some of those trophies nearby. That's it. You gotta believe me!" He said.

"I do." Batman said before smashing his knee against his skull. "Let's go." He said to the other 2. They ran inside and found another set of doors with green question marks all over them. They ignore that and walk through. They made it to the main room where there was a staircase under them. They took and and Batman ran up to Catwoman. "Batman? That had better be you. And you had better be sorry." Catwoman said.

"Are you hurt?" Batman asked as he freed his criminal girlfriend. "Perfect. What little girl doesn't dream of being bait for her strapping Dark Knight?" She asked sarcastically. "We're leaving." Arthur said. "You fella might be, but I'm not." Riddler shows his projected ugly face again. "Ah! All contestants are finally here! Tonight folks we've got riddle's galore. But first, let me introduce my beautiful instruments. I'm growing tired of my dependence upin the least useless dregs I can scrape from Gotham's utterly uninspired underbelly. Why rely on others for help when you can design, program, engineer, and manufacture it yourself." Nigma said as his robots popped up from the floor.

They started fighting and beat down the robots. Dutch and Arthur used their guns to destroy the machines, while Batman and Catwoman teamed up and smashed the enemies until none was left. "No doubt you enjoyed that, detective. It's the most fun you, Mr Morgan, and Mr Van Der Linde will have all night. You see, Batman. This feisty felonious feline has been fitted with a shiny new collar." The screens showed the collar that was the same one around Catwoman's neck. "With each challenge you all complete, you'll get 1 little key." The screens show a key. "Collect every key, and the kitty goes free. Remove it too soon, and the kitty goes boom!" Riddler laughed at his threat. "Well, don't just stand there, boys. Take that rocket-fueled roaster of yours and make your way to the Calderon train yard. I will be waiting. But don't worry, I'll let you get through your current crisis first." Nigma said before he vanished.

There were bars that were covering the entrance. They retreated. "We'll come back for you. Stay here." Batman said as they ran up and to the main doors. "Sir, I've regained control of the bridges." Alfred said through the cowl. "Good work. I'll contact you when we are in position at Mercy Bridge." Batman replied. As they stepped outside, the Joker hallucination was waiting for them. "Well, Batman, old boy. This is QUITE the dilemma, isn't it? Do you save the incompetent friend who got herself kidnapped? Or the incompetent girls and kid who got themselves kidnapped? Personally. I'd go see Eddie's latest contrived death gauntlet. I'm sure he went to a LOT of trouble. Besides, you can't save ALL of Barbara! I killed half of her already! And Scarecrow might have some fun with Tilly and Jack!" Joker said. They started grappling the rooftops once again until they finally made it to the car back on Bleake Island.

They enter the vehicle. "Alfred, we're at the bridge." Batman said. "One moment, sir. I should probably warn you that there's a significant militia presence ahead." Alfrd said. "Duly noted." Batman said. The bridges started lowering, and there were the militia drones. 3 Rattlers, 1 Diamondback, and 2 Mamba drones. The mambas began firing missiles at them, but Batman shot them down with the Vulcan gun at the sensor array. The tops catch fire and blow up. After a gruesome fight, the drones were down. "Arkham Knight, come in. Defenses breached. They're moving onto Miagani Island." The militia commander said.

"Not now, sergeant. Establish roadblocks and lock the island down." The Arkham Knight ordered. Batman activated the forensics scanner again and tracked the Knight's car throughout the island. "Batmobile spotted, Kingston!" The commander said, and 3 Rattlers engaged them. Batman took them all down. "Drone unit destroyed." The commander said. They continued the search until they found black smoke where the trail led. The Knight's car was destroyed near a building near the docks.

"The Arkham Knight's vehicle swerved and crashed up ahead." Batman said. They hopped out. "Car's empty. The Knight must have taken Oracle and moved on. I should scan the area." Batman's eyes turned white, and he scanned the wreckage. The cowl replayed what happened. The car went out of control and crashed. "The car veered off an empty road. Why?" Batman thought. The driver flew out of the windshield. "Looks like the driver wasn't wearing his seat belt. I should find the body." He thought. After a moment, he located the corpse and scanned. "Traces of pepper spray on the right side of the driver's face. Oracle must have been in the passenger seat and deliberately caused the crash. Clever. I should check the area where she was sitting." He moved back to the car and scanned. "The door was torn off during the crash. If I can find where it came to rest, I can determine exactly what happened." After a little more looking, he found it near some crates. He scans and replays the accident again. "Torn cleanly off the hinges. Oracle got out." Oracle groaned in pain and started crawling away until a gunshot startled and stopped the holographic person.

"Someone took a shot at her. I should scan the area for ballistic evidence." He walks over to the holographic projection and scans the bullet. The replay starts again as the bullet exits the ground as a hologram. It flew through the air until it entered a holographic semi-automatic handgun. Arkham Knight holsters his weapon and is replayed back to the car. He gets out slowly and slams the door closed. "The caliber of the weapon is a match of the Arkham Knight's sidearm. The trajectory and impact velocity points to a shooter that matches his height. At this range, he couldn't have missed. A warning shot." The replays resumes, and the Knight shoots near Barbara's head, stopping her. He holsters his gun and walks to the crippled girl. He grabs her wrist and lifts her over his shoulder, and he walks away.

"I've missed something. Oracle knew she couldn't escape. But she caused this crash for a reason. She must have left a clue while crawling away." Batman starts rewinding the play again. But then Arthur spots something under a crate. He walks over, lifts the box up and finds a circuit chip. "Does this mean anything to you?" He hands the chip to Batman. He examines it for a second until he inserts it into his gauntlet and then contacts Lucius Fox. "Lucius, Oracle left me this scrambler device at the scene of the crash. Decrypt the data so I can pinpoint the Arkham Knight's location." He said.

"Hmm... this kind of thing was more Ms Gordon's specialty. I'll see what I can do but it'll take me a little while." Fox said. "I'll meet you at Wayne Tower when you're ready." He then calls Alfred. "Alfred, give us an update on Gotham's Most Wanted." He said. "One moment, sir. Right, these 2 are just in. A mysterious hooded figure has been spotted a rooftop in Grand Avenue. He appears to be standing beside a burning Batsymbol. Sir, it might be wise to establish whether this interloper is friend or foe. Reports are also coming in of a blaze at the Bristol Firestation. One suspects arson, sir, as the power to the building has been cut, disabling the fire suppression system. You may wish to investigate." Alfred said.

"Thanks, Alfred." Batman hung up. "The Bristol Firestation is not too far away. We need to go now to stop the fire from getting too out of control." He said to the other's. They run back to the car and take off the the station.

Once they arrive, the car enters battle mode and Batman fired the winch at the power generator and starts revving the engine until power is back online and the fire starts retreating back into the building, before being extinguished fully. Then, someone with rocket thrusters and a helmet and a flamethrower burst out while laughing evilly. "Firefly." Batman said. "You been through this with him before?" Dutch asked. "Yes." Batman said. "You beat me once. But that was a long time ago!"

Firefly takes off, and the Batmobile starts chasing him around Miagani Island. "That's it, Batman! Keep chasing me!" He shouted. The car kept up with him as he shot fire onto the road. The batmobile dodged all the flames. Eventually, Firefly's rockets ran low on energy. "No!" He yelled. Now that the car was close enough, Batman shot out and threw Firefly to the ground and started punching him repeatedly in the face, but then Garfield reactivated his thrusters. Arthur and Dutch got out of the car, ready to shoot him down. "My suit is bulletproof, boys! And tonight, you and this stinkin' city will be purified by flames!" Garfield takes off for the sky until he strikes again.

Alfred started calling. "You know, I believe we've met that charming pyromaniac before." He said. "He's dangerous, Alfred. Keep watch for more fires." Alfred nods in agreement before hanging up.

"Let's go to Wayne Tower. With any luck, Lucius has decrypted the data." Batman said. They all pile into the car and drive off for Wayne Tower.

Author's note: I'm ending this chapter here. Sorry if it was a bit of lazy writing, but I am still enjoying this story. I hope you are! And I might release another story in a bit.
