Brigid is a good kid who has to go to other universes and solve the universe's problems. The AU Master sends Brigid to the Genderbend AU where she falls in love with a Trans woman, Harley. When Harley dies Brigid returns home and gets a new mission from the AU Master: the World Endangered Species Act has been signed. It's their job to help the endangered species survive and take down the world's big criminal organization Glitter of Darkness.
Brigid returns home, only to discover that her dreams are haunted by the Gang's Leader, Ronald McDonald. He wants her to join his evil plan to destroy the Earth. It's up to Brigid to save the Earth and defeat Ronald.
When Brigid and her dog, Callie, are attacked by gang members during her lunch break, her life will never be the same. Brigid and Callie escape, but Brigid is abducted. She wakes up in a hospital and is reunited with Callie. All her friends and family are so worried about her, that they're secretly a bunch of weirdos. Brigid tries to adjust to her new life, but her one true friend, Callie, is determined to protect Brigid at all costs along with Arya, Lana, and Retsuko.
Brigid goes back to the Genderbend AU and runs into Ronald who thinks he's going to take her back to the Genderbend universe. But Ronald actually wants Brigid to join his gang and help his boyfriend, Shaquille, take down another enemy. In the end Ronald offers to help Brigid bring down his own enemies as long as Brigid and her friends help him find the Dream Bank. But all Ronald really wants is for Brigid to join his evil group, GLITTER OF DARKNESS.
Brigid just won't give in and leaves Ronald with Callie. But she promises that she'll keep an eye on him. She and her friends return home where they realize their biggest problem isn't some gang members or dangerous magical creatures. It's Ronald! They don't have the staff to access the Dream Bank and have no idea where it's located.
What will Brigid do now? It's up to her to make sure that nothing bad happens to the people that she loves, or else the fairy tales and myths will end and everyone will die a slow and extremely painful death. She'll have to go out there and bring them all back. As long as she's on the Dream Railroad she has a chance. She quickly makes a pit stop at Harley's grave hoping that her spirit will give her good luck on this treacherous journey, and decides to take Callie and Retsuko as well. She'll need all the help she can get.
Brigid returns home to discover that Ronald and his gang of other hungry villains have the entire genderbend universe in their grips. All hope is lost for the poor universe and the fairy tale characters and creatures that she loves so much. And now she's in even more danger with her own beloved family members against her side. She gets the gang together, but only has her two dogs with her. Even if she finds the Dream Bank with her magical sister, it's only a matter of time before her family is brought down by Ronald, Shaquille and Shaquille's new love, Annie.
Brigid manages to get away where she meets another new character, Ben the Immortal Ninja. He's a trans gay immortal femboy who used to be a member of the Genderbend universe's version of ninjas. His group, the Rise Of The Men Of Midnight, are on a mission to gather a team of fellow fantasy and fairy tale characters so they can take down Ronald and his gang. Ben tries to convince Brigid to join them, but Brigid refuses. They don't need someone like Brigid and she's not a team player. She decides to go out on her own, but Ben knows that if Brigid goes out there, she will not win and the fate of the multiverse will forever be sealed. Upon realizing this, Brigid agreed to let Ben and his gang join her on her mission. Brigid will still have to go out there and save all the fairy tale characters and creatures that she loves. And she will not be on her own!
