It has been over 7 months since he got suspended, arrested for fighting, and nearly committing attempted murder. He realized during this time, that he had two choices: He could either apologize to Violet for nearly murdering her, or get expelled from school.
"Well, I thought about it. But in the end, I decided to make the right decision and apologize."
That was Charlie Brown speaking, now a changed young man. So, Charlie Brown knocked at Violet's door with flowers.
"Who is it?", Violet said.
Charlie Brown opened the door, with the Principal: Mr. Robinson following him to make sure he apologized for what he did.
"Violet? I wanted to say that I am very sorry for nearly murdering you. What I did had some serious and rather dire consequences. I ended up getting suspended for my actions. Plus, no girl is gonna want to talk to me after what happened. I also had to serve Detention during my time in Juvenile Hall. Plus, I have to take mandatory anger management classes both at school, and at home. So, as a token of gratitude, please accept the flowers I bought with the money from working at the barber shop with my dad. And, as much as I hate to give one of my stuff to you. But I'm giving you my ticket for the carnival. So, you can enjoy the carnival, and I'm gonna stay behind and watch from a distance, since your dad filed a restraining order against me." Charlie Brown said as he gave Violet flowers, and his ticket to the carnival which will be at school.
"Thanks! Those are my favorite! I accept your apology. I'm sorry for making you mad, and causing you to get suspended and arrested. I'm glad someone gave me a ticket for the carnival. I'm glad you were the someone. Listen, God is not going to forget this." Violet said.
"Well, do I have to go back to juvie?" Charlie Brown asked.
"Well, considering that you have changed since your time in Juvenile. And because I believe in second chances. I'll give you another chance." Mr. Robinson said.
"Thanks." Charlie Brown said.
"You still have anger management classes for the rest of this school year, and two weeks of the next school year. Your time in juvenile detention has really made you understand that your actions have consequences. You're a great kid. I don't want to see you get suspended again, or even expelled." Mr. Robinson said.
"Yes, Sir." said Charlie Brown.
"I decided to reduce the punishment from time in Juvenile to a 2-day After School Detention, and Saturday Detention. I'll see you tomorrow, Charlie." Mr. Robinson said.
