I apologize for taking so long to publish chapters, but I've been quite busy with work and my studies. I hope you understand
Anyway, what did you think of the chapter, and what are your thoughts on the story and how it's progressing? I'd love to hear from you
We start with the chapter!
Madara learned more about this world and the individuals who called themselves sorcerers and Curses every second. They certainly had interesting techniques, and the one he was currently witnessing seemed quite similar to a Genjutsu, more or less.
He had decided to close his eyes and ignore those troublesome individuals, but they kept coming, and the latest was a blonde guy apparently a companion of the pink-haired one. Both fought fiercely against the cursed guy, or Cursed, as the blonde called him, or also Mahito, as the curse itself self-identified.
He intervened, yes, he did when a black sphere enclosed the three individuals, preventing him from seeing what was happening inside. He furrowed his brow while his Sharingan came to life in his eyes, observing and touching the sphere, trying to understand what it was.
Certainly, it wasn't a Genjutsu; it was something more. It seemed that the purpose of this sphere was inside it, as his enhanced hearing and sensory perception told him. He furrowed his brows even more as he took a step back, extending his hand and placing his right palm on the sphere.
Maybe he was wrong, but this had a certain similarity to Yin Chakra... its darkness was endless and certainly powerful, but he had something even more powerful. His hand illuminated with almost transparent white chakra, and without wasting time, he thrust his hand forward, piercing the sphere and creating a hole the size of an average person. He smiled while, without giving more time, he passed through the hole, which immediately closed as it no longer had contact with Yang Chakra.
Everything stopped before the intruder, even the large networks of hands approaching the two sorcerer companions. Mahito watched in shock as someone invaded his domain so easily, and even the blonde seemed genuinely surprised.
"This guy... he was sitting so calmly over there a while ago." The blonde swallowed slightly as a bead of sweat fell down his forehead, while the pink-haired one wasn't quite sure what was happening, but a smile adorned his face nonetheless.
"Sensei, this guy beat up Mahito before you arrived. He's certainly strong," he commented, and the so-called Sensei turned to look at the boy with an incredulous gaze.
"You... Entered my domain of your own free will. WHAT AN IDIOT!" He shouted, and suddenly the hands disappeared to launch themselves at Madara, who didn't move, and his eyes briefly glowed purple, unnoticed.
FLUSH
Blood exploded everywhere as the hands were completely annihilated, leaving everyone except Madara speechless as he observed the scene with curiosity.
"Can any of you explain to me what kind of technique this is? It certainly piques my interest," Uchiha said, lowering his gaze and comically kicking a lifeless limb at his feet to see if it would move.
Itadori wiped the blood from his face with a surprised look, turning to his sensei to understand what was happening. Seriousness filled him as Nanami seemed terrified by something he couldn't comprehend.
Blood stained Nanami's blonde locks, but he didn't flinch, couldn't. The shock immobilized him. But one thing was clear—this guy had defeated Mahito's domain expansion without even lifting a finger. Either that, or Mahito had voluntarily destroyed the hand prison, but the curse's expression made it clear that he was as surprised as they were.
This genuinely surprised and terrified him. Few people were capable of destroying a perfect domain; he could count them on his fingers. Satoru Gojo was one of them, but he had to activate his own domain to surpass the enemy. However, this unknown individual hadn't even activated anything. He didn't even sense cursed energy in him!
"How? I didn't even see you move..." Mahito didn't take his gaze off Madara, who stopped scanning the area to look directly at the curse, causing him to unconsciously take a step back.
"Oh? That... a technique of mine," Madara said nonchalantly, shifting his gaze to Nanami, who tensed slightly. "Could you tell me what this technique is? It seems like that guy doesn't plan on telling me."
Nanami didn't know how to respond; he fell silent for a whole minute, pondering over all of this. Did this guy not know what a domain expansion was? No, it couldn't be. Anyone with even a little knowledge of sorcery knows what it is... but wait... This guy has no cursed energy and seems completely oblivious to all of this... could it be... could this guy be a normal person? No, it couldn't be!
"Will you tell me or not? You've certainly caused a lot of noise and disturbed my peace. I should have eliminated you a long time ago," Madara crossed his arms, awakening Nanami, who quickly cleared his throat and assumed the most professional tone possible.
"This is a domain expansion... it's a type of advanced barrier technique where the user utilizes cursed energy to manifest their innate technique," he quickly explained. Madara raised an eyebrow, absorbing some of the man's words.
"Cursed energy? Innate technique? I understand the part about barriers a bit, but the rest means nothing to me." Madara furrowed his brows, thinking about it. But as he reviewed it, yes, this cursed energy he referred to was undoubtedly the energy so similar to that of the biju he had sensed on different occasions.
Nanami stared at the man in disbelief. It seemed true; he had no idea about the world of sorcery, and that certainly terrified him. He shook slightly when Itadori almost jumped, shouting,
"Watch out!" Madara raised an eyebrow at the shout, but he had everything under control. Before Mahito reached him, his Limbo took care of it without mercy, splitting the curse in half, and it fell to the ground as the domain expansion immediately dissipated.
Everyone returned to the cold and dark outside, the sorcerers surprised, while Madara, still with his arms crossed, continued to observe Mahito, who had turned into a repulsive the hare and fled as fast as it could. He let it go; there was no need to pursue and capture it. He hoped the lesson had been learned, and the poor bastard wouldn't come near him again.
Damn, he was getting too soft. His old self would have undoubtedly killed the bastard at the first opportunity. This time, he indulged in playing with the poor guy and giving him a small lesson.
He sighed as he turned around and slowly began heading back to his cabin. He would take a nap at least; he deserved a bit of rest. He didn't care about the other two guys because he sensed no malicious intent from them. Besides the slight fear and surprise in both, he didn't fear being killed. In fact, he would appreciate it if they somehow managed to.
Nanami just silently watched as the guy walked away in the calmest manner possible. It seemed like he didn't care that they were there. Slowly, he turned to his companion, who seemed frozen, not moving, blinking, or even appearing to breathe.
He gently placed a hand on the boy's neck to check for signs and sighed slightly. He was still alive, at least, based on what he could tell. Nevertheless, he shook and shook him, and after a long minute, the boy seemed to react and looked at Nanami with an unreadable expression.
"Itadori... what's wrong?" the sorcerer asked, knowing that something was not right, especially as he saw the boy swallow hard.
"Sensei... it's Sukuna. He told me to be careful," he whispered but loud enough for Nanami to hear, who furrowed his brows.
"Careful? About what?" he questioned and watched attentively as the boy raised his hand horizontally, pointing at the dark cabin where Nanami swore he had seen a pair of red glints fixed on them.
"About him," he declared, and silence reigned after that. None dared to say anything; the atmosphere of the place prevented them from doing so, and the mere presence of that dark cabin sent shivers down their spines.
"Itadori... let's get out of here. We need to inform Gojo and the higher-ups about this guy," without saying anything, the two started walking backward, never turning their backs to the cabin. They didn't want to give it their backs, and they definitely wouldn't.
Madara, on the other hand, sighed as he moved away from the window and headed to his bed, lying down. He wasn't sleepy, but he certainly wanted to rest and hoped to get his well-deserved break, even though he knew his days of rest had already left with that little show he caused.
Days later:
Satoru had listened attentively to the words of his friend Nanami. Certainly, what the first-grade sorcerer had shared intrigued him. If someone could disturb the great Sukuna, they must undoubtedly be powerful.
He had wanted to go and meet this person, but it became difficult due to the upcoming exchange between sister schools that would take place that same week. Additionally, he had to travel abroad to see one of his beloved students. However, setting those matters aside, almost a week had passed.
The exchange had gone terribly; some students had almost died due to the attack of special-grade curses. However, in the end, nothing bad happened. After all, he was there, and simple curses like those were no problem for him.
Once the spirits had settled, he informed some higher-ups about the anomaly that Nanami had shared with him. They decided to send him and a companion to assess this individual, and he was more than happy to do so.
Had felt that power surge, not far from my position, and managed to sense everything, even the tremendous shockwave it sent through the entire nearby area. He smiled a bit, it seemed like this place had strong beings that might bring some excitement back into his life.
However, that amusement arrived sooner than planned as he narrowed his eyes to see three figures emerging from the dense forest. He squinted as they approached without any fear, or at least, the man in the middle seemed entirely relaxed.
Hands in his pockets, taking long and carefree steps, chest held high with an arrogant smile – add to that his eyes covered by some dark bandage that didn't seem to hinder his movement.
The other two appeared quite cautious as they approached, especially the blonde he had met a few days ago. He could see his tense shoulders, taking short and slow steps not to surpass the silver-haired man in the middle.
The other person was a girl, dark blue hair, a scar on her face, dressed in a priestess outfit with some red accents matching her skirt. She walked a few steps behind the silver-haired man, indicating one thing.
He was the strongest.
He stood up from his resting chair, crossed his arms to welcome the uninvited guests. He wore dark cargo pants, military boots with iron tips, and a sleeveless black compression shirt with the proud logo of the Uchiha Clan on his back.
His long black hair swayed behind him as he took a step forward, indicating that he was in his territory, and the white-haired man seemed to understand it because he immediately stopped alongside the other two. Fifteen meters separated them, and Madara began to sense everything in his surroundings, hoping for hidden individuals or some kind of ambush.
But at the moment, he felt nothing. It seemed strange to him.
"You," he spoke, looking at Nanami, who also observed him in silence. "You brought them here. Any reason for that?" He didn't uncross his arms; there was no need to.
Nanami didn't answer; he just sent a look to Satoru, who was smiling calmly. Normally, he wouldn't rely on the six-eyed user, but this situation was one where he wouldn't risk it when the strongest sorcerer of all was present. Luckily, Satoru took the lead."
"He told us that you were someone interesting, that even Sukuna felt uncomfortable in your presence," the albino replied, and immediately, the Uchiha's gaze pierced through him.
"I didn't ask you, boy. I directed the question to your companion," he shifted his gaze to Nanami, who tensed. Undoubtedly, the man with long hair was not happy at this moment.
Satoru's mouth opened slightly at being dismissed in such a manner. Madara literally told him to shut up and not intervene. For her part, Utahime just observed the situation in silence, her hands clasped in front of her forehead, a clear indication that she was ready to act if necessary. This man didn't seem pleased, even though he didn't show it.
Speaking of which, he hadn't sensed anything from the man. He felt no trace of cursed energy in him. Any sorcerer had at least a tiny amount of their energy overflowing, except for Satoru Gojo, who, with his Six Eyes, understood cursed energy like no other. However, Satoru subtly glanced at Utahime, and she nodded. They had discussed this before. His eyes never failed, but there could be an exception, which was why he had Utahime, a skilled sensor. However, he didn't fail this time either. He didn't sense or see any cursed energy from the man but another type of energy, one so wild that it seemed to want to burst out and explode from the man, connected to fine channels that spread throughout his body, even reaching his eyes.
Interesting, undoubtedly. It seemed that Nanami wasn't exaggerating when referring to this guy as a madman without cursed energy.
Nanami cleared his throat to speak,
"I told my friends about you; they were curious and decided to come see you," he responded as quickly as possible, watching as the eyes of the formidable man narrowed.
"I smell lies oozing from here," he commented to the air, slightly surprising the three. "But I'll let it pass. What is your true reason for being here?" he asked, finally addressing Satoru, who once again smiled and boldly or foolishly, depending on how you saw it, approached the man, stopping in front of him.
Madara simply observed as the man extended his hand in a greeting gesture. He raised an eyebrow. What was going on with this guy? He seemed so foolish when Madara looked at his face. His smile still persisted, and it seemed that he wouldn't give up until Madara accepted his greeting.
He sighed internally as he uncrossed his arms and slowly took the hand of the albino man. Immediately, he understood what this was—an arm wrestling contest.
He didn't smile, and his facial expression remained unchanged, but he wouldn't allow himself to be humiliated. He applied his own strength to the grip when the man did the same, and he seemed to smile. The albino tried to pull his arm in his direction, but Madara didn't allow it. In a not at all violent twist, he accomplished what the albino initially wanted.
The albino seemed surprised as his smile vanished when he was pulled towards the Uchiha ghost. Madara didn't need to see it; he knew the other two were surprised, as he heard a slight female gasp from behind the taller man.
"Oh," the albino whispered, looking at his outstretched arm with some surprise, but it was soon replaced with a smile as he retracted his arm while nodding.
"Undoubtedly, you are interesting. You have no cursed energy and can compete with me in strength. Fantastic. Do we attribute that to that strange energy within you?" This puzzled the other two, but not Madara, who crossed his arms again, shrugging.
"As you wish, kid. Now, for the last time, I repeat... What exactly are you doing here?" This time, his voice changed, becoming deeper and revealing some dark emotions within him. It tensed everyone except Satoru, who kept on smiling.
" I already told you. You sparked my curiosity, and I also wanted to see if you were a threat, but I don't think so. You seem like a tough person who wants peace. Or am I wrong? I know a few like you," he replied, and Madara remained silent for a few seconds.
"You're not wrong, kid. But I'm curious about what you said," he commented, and to Satoru's eyes, an unnoticed cruel smile began to adorn Madara's lips.
"Yeah? Ask, and I'll happily answer," the albino nodded, and Madara's smile grew, although it still went unnoticed by the user of the six eyes.
"What if I were a threat?" he hit the nail on the head, and although Satoru's smile didn't falter, it did hesitate for a moment, but he composed himself and continued as if he had just heard the time of day.
"That... oh, that would mean I have to eliminate you," and bam, the cruelest smile Satoru had ever seen adorned the lips of the most feared man in his lands.
"And what makes you think you could eliminate me, of all people?" Satoru's smile dropped, while Madara's increased, and finally, after 11 years, he felt a chill down his spine, one he didn't expect to feel ever again.
Sweat dripped down the faces of the other two, who felt the atmosphere become a bit tense, and the slight movement of Satoru's right hand fingers undoubtedly made Utahime even more tense.
He knew something strange was happening in that exchange of words, but if they didn't shout, they wouldn't be able to hear.

"Seems like you don't know who I am," Satoru audibly whispered to Madara, who almost chuckled.
"And neither do you, but I don't blame you. After all, no one knows me in this place," he shrugged as he turned, giving his back to Satoru, who lifted his bandages slightly to watch the man walk away. Seconds later, he stopped. "I'm not a threat, kid. But if you anger me, I'll be the Shinigami in person. So, I suggest you stay away from me."
A red gleam from Madara's eyes illuminated Satoru, who immediately lowered his bandage to cover his left eye.
"I see..." Gojo spoke loudly while putting his hands in his pockets. "Nice to meet you. I'm Satoru Gojo," he introduced himself belatedly, waiting for the man to reciprocate. However, he was totally ignored when the man entered his cabin and closed the door seconds later.
Gojo sighed as he closed his eyes behind his bandages. This encounter was not at all pleasant, and he didn't overcome the man as he used to do with everyone he met. Slowly, he turned and approached the other two, who seemed to breathe more calmly now that they no longer felt the pressure in the atmosphere.
"And?" Utahime asked when Satoru stopped in front of them. He smiled while scratching the back of his head.
"He's a great guy, and undoubtedly, he'll be a good friend of yours," he commented, and Utahime immediately knew what he meant. Therefore, her eyebrow began to twitch uncontrollably while gritting her teeth.
"You can't assign missions to me," she refused, and Satoru smiled even more.
"It's not an order, Utahime. It's a favor I'm asking, as a friend, as the one who saved you eleven years ago from that terrible haunted house," he hit below the belt, and the irate Utahime sighed. She had lost with that, but she remained silent; she would talk about this later with the special-grade sorcerer.
Nanami just observed their interaction without really understanding what they were talking about. He turned to look at the cabin and once again felt a chill when he noticed the man watching them from the window.
End of the chapter.
