"My lunch money is gone!" One of the kids that Hayate goes to school with says as he opened his wallet and others started to notice that their lunch money was gone, the teacher turned to the children they all grabbed onto her side saying that their money was gone then one of the kids pointed to Hayate.

"It must have been Hayate-kun! He stole our money!" They said everyone then started to point at Hayate and blame him for their missing money.

"I wouldn't do something horrible like that!" Hayate was on the verge of tears, but everyone still kept on blaming him even the teacher didn't believe him after school. Hayate had walked home alone, and crying on the way home he ran into his dad.

"What's wrong, Hayate kun?" His dad asked him.

"Today…everyone's lunch money went missing at kindergarten." Hayate told him.

"Their lunch money?" His dad asked.

"And even though I didn't do anything, everyone said that I stole it." He said to his dad, he placed a hand over his head.

"Your father believes you, I don't think you stole it." His dad says, and he looks up at him.

"After all, I stole it." He told his son, it was at that moment Hayate realized how cruel and untrustworthy his parents truly are, so he ran. He didn't know where he was headed, but he just ran; he was truly sick of anything and everything.

He didn't know how far he ran, but the next thing he knew he had collapsed in a flower garden somewhere for an instant he thought he might be in heaven, but soon figured that wasn't the case because there was no way he would go there Hayate had closed his eyes and accepted his faith, he might as well die in a place far away from his parents.

"That's right, I might as well just die here." He says.

"Don't say such sad things." A voice suddenly said, and Hayate looked up to see a girl with blonde hair holding an umbrella.

"You cannot stand up because your heart is broken, but it isn't as if your body can no longer move so, stand up now." She told him Hayate leaned back on the ground.

"Wh-what!? Who are you!? You don't even know me! Just leave me alone!" He says to her.

"True, I do not know anything, but I have been hearing your heart yelling out for help." She then extended a hand for him to take.
