Anger-Part two
In present day, Yelena was contemplating all the things that she had gone through to get to her, Melina and Natasha's beloved romantic partner soulmate, Clarke Griffin. It had been such a pain, thinking she'd never see her mate.
But meeting her now? Knowing her for up to a year, now, she felt that warmth in her chest, every time she saw the younger woman.
That wasn't to say that Yelena was lacking in her wrath. Oh, no, she was usually angry about one thing or another.
And for Yelena? One of her main sources of wrath, since knowing Clarke Griffin, was knowing that there were those out there that had hurt her darling little girl, who still hadn't gotten what they deserved, who still hadn't been punished as the pieces of scum deserved.
She wished to find those that had hurt Clarke and kill them, bring Clarke their heads for what they had done to her.
Clarke had assured her that she didn't want any of her mates to go out and track down those that had hurt her, she just wanted to spend time with her familial soulmates and romantic partner soulmates. That was all.
But for Yelena? No, that wasn't all. She wanted revenge for her girl.
She knew that to that, Clarke would say that she could take care of everything herself, and often did. But it just made Yelena angrier. It wasn't right that Clarke had to take care of everything on her own. It just wasn't.
All these horrible, greedy people took and took and took from Clarke. And never gave anything back. They expected her to give and give and give and never offered anything to her in return.
For that? Yelena wanted things in masses. She wanted the pain of those who treated Clarke so callously and selfishly. She wanted their pain and their screams. And she wanted to get revenge for Clarke. And what was more? She wanted to protect Clarke. To look after her, even when Clarke refused to look after herself.
To be fair, Yelena wasn't sure that those desires weren't all intertwined. Because what would be best for Clarke? What would ensure the stronger possibility that Clarke would be taken care of? Except that those that had hurt Clarke, had made her life miserable, were destroyed? Eviscerated? Cut apart and made to scream?
While Yelena knew that that would be somewhat complicated, since most of those that had hurt Clarke had already been dealt with; by Clarke herself, but there were still those out there who had hurt Clarke and hadn't been given the punishment that they deserved.
The other delinquents, who hadn't cared at all about Clarke, Clarke had ripped the throats out of and had killed.
Markus Kane? Who had been happy to watch Clarke's father get executed and had done nothing when Clarke had been imprisoned and isolated for five years, since Clarke had been eight years old, had also been killed by Clarke.
The Mountain Men, who had threatened Clarke and would have killed her for her bone marrow? Clarke had wiped them all out in one swift blow at the age of only thirteen and a half.
A good portion of the Ice Nation, who had abducted Clarke and had tortured her and had tortured those around her? A good portion of them had been killed off and tortured by her, as an act of revenge.
Then there had been the big, shiny feathers in Clarke's cap.
Well, some of the many shiny feathers, anyway.
The top of those feathers, naturally, were the Mountain Men. That act had earned her name, "Wanheda," and the Commander of Death.
Then there were those Blake siblings that got what they deserved. Which meant ultimately, yes, Clarke had dispatched most of her enemies, anyway.
So Yelena was glad, so glad that she had had that.
Those feathers all were in Clarke's cap, but it still wasn't satisfying to Yelena somehow.
She wanted to be the one to spill that blood.
Yelena wanted their blood. Wanted the blood of the people that had hurt Clarke, but Clarke had gotten most of them, hadn't she?
Yelena did, however, remember that Clarke's adoptive mother, Abby Griffin was still alive. Which meant that there was still someone who had hurt Clarke and remained in this world, even though they had deserved to die ages ago.
Yelena was going to kill Abby. That was the plan.
Yelena knew she wanted to kill Abby Griffin.
She could bring Clarke Abby Griffin's head. And she hoped Clarke enjoyed seeing Abby's corpse on the floor.
Yelena quickly went over to where Melina was writing something. Yelena peered over her mother's right shoulder, seeing the letter that her mother was writing. Her eyes narrowed when she saw the name, "Abby Griffin," being written down.
"Mama?" She asked, "Why are you writing to Abby Griffinof all people?" Yelena practically spat the name right out.
Melina paused and turned slowly to Yelena.
She smiled, "Why wouldn't I, dearest?"
Yelena frowned. "Mama," She said, "Clarke has mothers. Mothers that won't abandon her. Why are we contacting that bitch?"
And it was the truth. It wasn't just Melina. Melina was Clarke's lover and romantic partner soulmate, but she also acted as a parental figure for Clarke.
Clarke had a severe "mommy kink," as did Melina and Natasha, however, that wasn't what Yelena had been talking about.
What she had been talking about had been the many familial soulmates whom Clarke had met over the years. Mothers and fathers. Mostly mothers. Women from the tribes, from the various communities full of people like the societies where the Avengers lived. They had all more or less had become Clarke's mothers.
These people would never leave Clarke. Many of them were non-human, like Clarke, so they aged slowly like she would. And they wouldn't leave her. They would make sure Clarke was never alone. And there were so many, from the tribes and the various lands on the ground, that were protective of Clarke and loved her. Clarke didn't need the Ark people and didn't need those that had hurt her. She didn't need lies and false promises, or condescending or abuse.
Clarke didn't need Abby.
She had real parents now. She didn't need that wretch, Abby.
So why the hell was Melina writing to Abby?
Yelena watched Melina, awaiting the older woman's answer.
She was sure her and Natasha's mother had a reason, but what that reason was?
She had no idea.
"Yelena," Melina said softly, "Shh. And to answer that? I'm just asking Mrs. Griffin to come here so that we can hurt her."
Yelena's eyes widened and Melina chuckled at the stunned look on Yelena's face.
"Yelena, my love," Melina said to her younger daughter, "Did you think you were the only one that wanted to kill Abby Griffin for what she did?"
Yelena's eyes widened even more, then a sadistic grin crossed her face satisfied.
Oh, yes, they would kill the one that had hurt their Clarke Griffin, their beloved little girl.
