Chapter 1 First Contact

Waking up after dying wasn't what I expected. I opened and closed my hand in front of my face, most of my memories didn't remain so that's something. I sighed looking at the Grey walls around me. My mindscape of course, It's modeled after the place the person spends most of their time in. I traced my hand over one of the larger cracks in the wall. Though I'd like to not be reminded of the hell I went through in this place. Though I do think leaving it like this was a great decision.
I shook my head. Whether this was the afterlife, or something else I planned to find out. I summoned a fireball and launched it at the wall.

"Ughhh my head." I shook my head trying to relieve my headache. But that only made it worse. "Mooom!" I started crying as my headache became worse. "Yes- Izu! What's wrong honey?" "M-my head hurts really bad." I started crying harder as my headache become worse. Before all became dark

-(1 hour Later) [Inkos Pov]
"I'm afraid we don't know what's wrong with your son mam." Hisashi tightened his grip around my hand as I struggled to hold in tears. "Although the boy seems to be fine now. Please come back if this happens again, he started bleeding from his eyes, and ears half an hour, and had to get a transfusion. Now we are still trying to find out what's wrong with you boy, if you want to we can place him under observation for the rest of the week in case this happens again." Hisashi nodded and paid the doctor. And as we left I couldn't help but cry in the car.
-(Meanwhile)
"hmm? Where am I?" CRK BOOOM! The room shook with a loud noise as a person appeared inside the smoke. "H-hello?!" all the noise around stopped as the white-haired man stared at him. "A kid?" he tilted his head as he looked at me. He approached me. And knelt in front of me. "How'd you get here kid?" "I-I don't know? I just had a really bad headache and woke up here." The strangers blue eyes widened as he looked at him "A headache?" "Y-yeah." I fidgeted with the ends of my shirt. "Oh jeez I'm sorry I didn't mean to give you a headache little one." the stranger ruffled my hair. "Oh I know, do you want to see a magic trick?" I nodded. "Ok. But what's your name mister?" "you can call me Cain."
-(1 hour later) [Cain PoV]
Man kids are really hard to deal with. I sighed as I wrote down the last bit of things I learned from the kid, Izuku is his name apparently. And he's somehow connected to my mindscape, not only that but any damage done to it gives him a headache for some reason. Nevermind this place, The outside has changed from what he told me. Firstly Quirks are a thing. Which was strange from my memories Quirks weren't a thing. I banged my head on the desk and sighed. Whatever, I'll deal with this later, but first I really need to sleep. I checked on the sleeping izuku before creating my bed.
-(2 days later) [Izukus PoV]
"hm? Where am I?" I looked around the white room as beeps sounded out from the machine behind me. Wires were extending onto my chest, and there was a mask on my face. So I took them off, the machine started to make an annoying sound when I took the wire off though so I placed the wire back. I looked at my hand finding a needle, but it didn't hurt- BANG! I jolted when the door slammed open "um hello?" I waved my right hand at the nurse who sighed for some reason. "Oh you're awake thank god!" she started talking to some of the doctors outside.
-(2 hour later)
"mooom!" mom was crying and hugging me infront of everyone, it's so embarrassing! I blushed as dad joined the hug. "Thank god you're fine!"
5 minutes later, I was left alone as the doctor started explaining something to my parents. (Hello?) my eyes widened as I looked around "Cain?" I asked. (I'm not outside.) "You mean outside the grey room? Then how are you talking to me. Is that a part of your quirk?" (yes I'm talking to you. But I don't think it's my quirk I think it's yours?) I frowned "but I'm quirkless?" (you are? Then I really don't know how I'm talking to you. Well maybe, hey can I try something?) I nodded. Then my hand moved on its own. "Woah what did you do?!" (I think we're sharing a body right now, like uh I don't know? we're able to control the same body. anyway do you understand?) "I-I Think? But this feels really weird though." (It's ok I'll stop) "Thanks."
-(1 hour later)
(So this is your home?) I nodded. Hey can you stand in front of a mirror. "why?" (I wanna see something, so can you?) I nodded and went to stand infront of the bathroom mirror.
"Woah!" my eyes turned blue as Cain took control of my hand again. "So it does work like that!" Cain said using my voice. (Sorry izuku but do you mind if I talk to your parents for a second?) I shook my head.
-(Cains PoV)
"Hello!" I said to the boys mother, she was currently cutting some meat. "Yes Izu-" she stared at my eyes for a moment. "Izu?" "Ummm not here." she frowned for a moment worry on her face. "what do you mean, honey do you feel okay? What's with your eyes?" She let go of the knife, placing her hand next to her. "Um can we talk on the couch?" I asked her. The worry in her eyes deepened but she obliged.
"Ok so what I'm about to say might sound outlandish but I need you to believe me ok?" "Izu honey what's this about? Does this have something to do with your eyes?" I let out a deep breath 'now or never' "I'm not your son first of all, I don't know what happened-"Her face paled "oh don't worry your son is still here he just allowed me to take over his body to talk to you for a minute." I let go of my control, allowing the boy to wave, and say hi. Before taking back control. His mother seemed skeptical but relieved. "see I don't remember anything, I just woke up here in a grey room, and I'd really like to know what's happening." the mother frowned for a moment before something lit her eyes up. "You said you don't remember anything?" I nodded. "I think I know what's happening." she smiled "I think you might be Izukus quirk!" I frowned "but he said he's quirkless?" "Yes but see mental quirks like you are impossible to detect." "well is there any way to check?" she nodded "I'll take you to someone with a quirk analysis quirk, but let's eat first ok? Izuku should be really hungry." I let go of my control as the boy confirmed.
-(2 hours later)[Izukus PoV]
"Guardian spirit: A quirk that is a persona inside of the users mind, that is more intelligent, and mature than the user. It also resides in an area in the users mind that's only accessible under certain conditions. The persona also also knows things that it can teach to the user." the doctor said as inko nodded "S-So I have a quirk!?" the doctor nodded smiling. "Yes otherwise my quirk wouldn't have picked up anything." "S-So I can be a hero?" mom, and dad nodded "Of course izu, even without a quirk. I think you would've made the best hero." I started crying and hugged my parents.
