Chapter One: Of Family Affairs

My daughter and the other Bronze Saints are here in Sanctuary on a whim of Lady Athena, but I'm glad I get to spend some time with my little girl. My little girl right now has her head on my lap, fast asleep.

I didn't know my daughter was alive until I fought against Ikki and Songbird (my and Saga's nickname for Oceania). I did insult Elsa and Master Dohko in front of my daughter, and I had my ass handed to me again by my child as she slammed me face-first into a sea cliff. The boys didn't even try to stop her.

Master Dohko came along with Mu, and Shaka pulled my daughter off of me, and then Ikki slapped me upside the head, and then he walked away, calling me the biggest idiot on the planet. Yet my daughter had forgiven me.

Suddenly, the mid-morning peace ended as Milo and Death Mask crossed paths with each other, and the hallway of Gemini's Labyrinth exploded into a yelling match. My brother and I both looked at each other and sighed. I laid my Songbird's head on a couch cushion and went to help Saga break up the yelling match.

As Saga and I stepped out to break up the yelling match between the two hot-heads. Saga and I didn't notice, but Oceania had beat us out of the door as Luna the ChowChow pulled Milo and Camus into Gemini. Eclipse the Bombay Cat hissed at Aphrodite and Death Mask while Mask and Bandit the ferrets shook their fists at them, and my daughter gave them both a death glare. Saga and I were standing on either side of Oceania to support her. I'm trying not to laugh, seeing my daughter standing there with one hand on her hip, tapping her feet, and pointing toward Pisces with her death glare in place. Aphrodite and Death Mask took the hint and left immediately.

My daughter, her kids, Saga, and I followed back into Gemini as we heard Camus scolding Milo for something. My daughter smacked Milo upside his head, scolding him for acting like Ikki, Hyoga, Jabu, and Seiya. Soon after that, Milo and Camus left to return to Scorpio.

Later that night, we went to the grand hall for dinner, where Pope Shion announced rather proudly my daughter would be attending college in Athens. Pope Shion also announced his retirement and named my brother the new Pope while Aiolos became Saga's chief of staff, and my daughter is the assistant to both Pope Saga and Chief of Staff Aiolos. Seiya and I became Gemini and Sagittarius Saints.

I turned to my daughter and said,

"Ocean, um, there's something you should- only to be cut off by my daughter.

"Daddy, if you're talking about your love affair with Wyvern Rhadamanthys or he had purposed marriage to you, you are both trying to hide it from me. I already knew as she pointed at Draken."

Wyvern Rhadamanthys came forward as I watched my daughter smiling as she kissed my cheek and said,

"I give you my blessing, Daddy."

My daughter glared at Wyvern Rhadamanthys as she walked past him and whispered,

"If I ever see my daddy unhappy, you better hope it's Uncle Saga tearing you apart instead of me."

Saga only grinned at Rhadamanthys, seeing his flustered expression as my daughter left the threat open.

My daughter looked at Chief of Staff Aiolos with a glare as she said,

"Keep my uncle happy, understand."

Chief of Staff Aiolos only nodded.

My brother and I laughed at the aftermath of a hellion named Oceania.

I saw Milo glaring at my daughter, who was blissfully oblivious to what was happening, while Camus had a scornful look on his face as he eyed Aphrodite and Death Mask.

Hm.

Oh, this is too funny.
