"Uh excuse me." Nobara stopped in her tracks and looked behind her to see a girl who had called out to her, "Was that Itadori with you earlier?" she asked leaving the sorcerer confused. Minutes later the two girls sat in a cafe as the stranger whose name was Yuko Ozawa handed Nobara a picture, "That's me at my Junior High graduation." Ozawa said as the sorcerer looked back and forth at the picture and the girl, God smacked at how much she had changed since then. The girl noticed a mob of pink hair and saw Yuji standing next to Ozawa in the picture, "Yuji!?" she said surprised. "On graduation I was able to ask him to take a picture with me. I wanted to ask for his contact info but I had to move to Tokyo so I ended up chickening out. But when I saw him earlier, I thought that today I could ya know." Ozawa explained making her peer look at her in a cold sweat, "You mean, its like that?" she asked seriously getting a nod.
Thinking quickly, the girl pulled out her phone and Ijichi and asked him to drop Megumi outside the café, "Alright my friend is on his way. He knows Yuji better than me so we can see what he has to say about him." Nobara explained, "Do you happen to like-." "I'd rather die." Ozawa tried to ask but was quickly cut off by the sorcerer, although she felt her heart skip a beat. "Hey Nobara. You better have a good reason to drag me all the way here." Megumi asked his friend as he stopped at their table. "Megumi, does Yuji have a girlfriend?" the girl quickly asked leaving the boy confused so she explained the situation, "So its like that?" he asked breaking into a cold sweat as he got a nod.
Sighing he ordered a coffee and sat down next to Nobara, "I don't think he has one..." The boy thought about it more before remembering something, "Wait, isn't he dating Maki senpai?" he suddenly said looking over at his friend leaving the two girls shocked, "What!? Maki didn't say anything about that!!" Nobara contested while Ozawa started muttering to herself with a depressed cloud above her head. "I mean they're always together even when they're not training and sparring. And to me, it looks like they have that relationship chemistry between then." Megumi shrugged as his friend pulled on her hair in shock and frustration, "B-but Maki didn't tell me anything about that. And she doesn't even like guys like Yuji." The female sorcerer tried to counter, "I mean she can't just tell you every aspect of her life. Did she directly tell you that she doesn't like guys like Yuji?" "Uh well-." "So, no you haven't asked her and just presuming she doesn't like guys like him."
Nobara huffed in defeat and looked down at her drink, Megumi looked at the down girls before sighing, "But I'm one to talk since I also haven't really asked Yuji about his relationship status, so don't take me saying that the two are dating as a fact. You might still have a chance, plus I heard him say he likes tall girls." The boy added drinking his coffee making both girls instantly brighten up and cheered before Nobara texted Yuji to come by. Just a minute later the boy of the hour was standing before the three, his sunglasses beaming as he smiled, "Hey Nobara- woah Megumi, what're you doing here?" Yuji asked as the boys went into a small discussion about the stuff the former had on him.
"Wait, I didn't tell him about Yuko yet!" Nobara panicked and tried to reintroduce the two when Yuji turned to his old classmate, "Hm? Oh Ozawa, how're you doing?" the boy greeted making the girl's eyes water while his friends gave him a rating of 10. The four took the rest of the day to talk and hangout before Ozawa had to go home, "See ya Ozawa!" Yuji waved as his friend group walked to where Ijichi was but something bugged Nobara as they walked. She soon stopped making the boys look at her confused, "Yuji." She called out making the boy raise an eyebrow as she looked straight into his eyes, "Do you like Maki?" "Of cause, I do." Yuji answered with a tilt of his head.

"Gojo informed you all about the mole, right?" Utahime asked the Tokyo first years who nodded as they walked through an underground parking lot, "We believe that there at least two people feeding information to the cursed spirits. One has to be highly ranked so we can't do anything about them but the other one who's feeding info to that higher up is the one were going after today. His still under suspicion so after apprehension, we meet to conduct an interrogation." The teacher explained looking down which the students caught, "He's from Kyoto isn't he?" Nobara asked making the teacher look even more strained, "The mole is Kokichi Muta but you know him as Mechamaru." Utahime said now going down a stairway. "He's down here." The teacher said opening a door when they reached the bottom.
"It's not that we suspect him because he's suspicions, we only came to this conclusion by process of elimination." She continued as she lowered her voice as to not alert their target, "Puppet manipulation, thanks to his heavenly restriction, it's range reached the entire nation. Using unregistered puppets to steal information would be easy for him." "Hm? Wouldn't it have drawn a lot of attention?" Yuji asked making her shake her head, "What if the puppet was as small as a fly?" she countered making the boy's questions die down, "We're here." Utahime said stopping outside a door. Yuji nodded and stood in front of it, infusing some cursed energy in his hand before punching it open. They looked inside only to find it empty which made Nobara click her tongue, "It's confirmed. Mechamaru is the mole." She stated as they turned around and returned to Jujutsu Tech.

Yuji stood in Aoyama Cemetery, in front of him being Mei Mei and her little brother Ui Ui, "So you're trying to tell me that Gojo sensei went in alone?" the boy asked shocked, only now hearing about this information. "Please tell me we're his backup." He added which made the older woman chuckle. "Don't worry, we are. Why do you think we're also heading to Shibuya?" Mei Mei asked as the boy sighed in relief, "Who do you think Satoru Gojo is?" Ui Ui asked looking at Yuji weirdly, "You can't think of him as a normal guy." The sister replied glanced at her sibling, "You're not a normal lady either." "Aww Ui Ui. You're so cute." Yuji started at the brother and sister weirded out wishing they could start moving which was answered as the grade 1 sorcerer got a message, "Change of plans, another curtain just appeared at Meiji-Jungu-Mae Station so were going there first. We're running so make sure to keep up." Mei Mei informed the boy who smirked and fixed his eyewear, "I should be the one telling you that."
Minutes later the three reached the meeting area which was near second exist of the station where they met an executive, "This is the curtain that surrounds the station and keeping the people inside, inside it there's another on the Fukutoshi Line Platform that keeps Jujutsu sorcerers out. Between the two curtains is the cursed spirit or curse user who casted the curtains." She explained to the sorcerers while showing them an illustration of the situation. "Why in between? Isn't being stationed on the platform a better option?" Mei Mei asked making the executive turn to her, "We thing they are taking the risk in order to strengthen the barrier." She explained making the woman nod. "We can't be too sure but we believe that inside the curtains are transfigured humans." She added making Yuji freeze, his hair covering his face.
Mei Mei noticed this but didn't bring it up as the three walked to outside the stations second entrance as the first-grade sorcerer sent some of her crows down to survey the floors. After minutes of standing around, Mei Mei opened her eyes turning to the boys, "Itadori, would you prefer to kill a bunch of weak mutated humans or exorcise a single strong cursed spirit?" she asked stunning the boy as he stayed silent. "Mutated human are wondering and attacking humans in B4F while most of the civilians are on Fukutoshin Line Platform in B5F. But I'm not that sure on the civilians since the crows I are coated in cursed energy I can't see inside B5F. I'm guessing the people didn't have a choice other than to go to the lowest floor since they were being chased. My crows were killed between B1F and B2F so the curtain caster must be there but I have no idea why they're stationed there."
Yuji stayed silent before pointing down the stairs, "He's there, isn't he?" he asked referring to Mahito to which the girl shrugged, "I couldn't say since my crows died before I found him but I'm sure he is due to the transfigured humans. It's a bad idea but let's split up, you go down from here while Me and Ui Ui use the seventh entrance to directly go to B4F. If things get tough, you also run down there. I hope when we reunite the curtains will be gone, the civilians are safe." the woman instructed and grabbed her weapon as she and her brother walked away while Yuji went down the stairs, "I'm not going to let you escape from me again."
Yuji walked down until he reached B2F where he saw a grasshopper cursed spirit eating a person, "Huh? What are you looking at?" the curse asked making the boy narrow his eyes, "Wait, y-you're a sorcerer right? You are, right? I'm sma-." The curse couldn't finish it's sentence as it's head got cut off by Yuji who had the Soul Splitting Katana, "Fuck off." The boy said before he noticing a talisman on the ground next to him. In a swift move he cut it into pieces causing the curtain to disappear, Yuji continued to run down the stairs meeting up with Mei Mei and Ui Ui at B4F, "Incredible Itadori." The women said making the boy look at her, "Hm?" "You defeated the curse faster than I expected, no wonder you're a special grade." She explained making the boy nod, "Oi my sister is complimenting you, say something." Ui Ui glared at the boy who laughed awkwardly, "Thank you miss, it's an honor."
They reached B5F only to see it empty, "We're too late." Mei Mei said as the special grade sorcerer found a teen sitting on the floor and ran to him, "Hey, you ok? What happened here?" he asked stopping and kneeling next to the teen who looked forward at nothing in particular, "Everyone... Monsters... They got on the train... He said it was already full! So, I wasn't needed!" half way through the explanation his head elongated before falling to the floor dead. Yuji clicked his tongue in frustration before realizing something and looking at where the train was going to, which to his worry was Shibuya, "Shit Gojo sensei!"
The three quickly jumped onto the railway and started sprinting towards Shibuya, during the sprint something unexpected happened as a device latched itself onto Yuji's ear. "What the-." "Can you hear me, Yuji Itadori?" a voice came from the earpiece which the boy recognized, "Mechamaru?" he questioned as he pulled the small round puppet and looked at it. "Yes. The isn't much time so listen carefully. Satoru Gojo has been sealed." He said shocking everyone, "Do you really expect us to believe that, The Satoru Gojo was sealed?" Mei Mei asked chuckling. "The only proof I have is me. The real me was killed on October 19 by a cursed spirit called Mahito, this is nothing more than a contingency plan I made before I died. It was made with the stipulation of Satoru Gojo being sealed. I positioned these puppets only in three locations. Out of all the sorcerers at Tokyo High Yuji is least likely to be a mole alongside you, Mei Mei." "Oh? Why's that?" Mei Mei asked smiling, "Because you were sent to Meji-Jingu-Mae instead of being used for covert action in Shibuya. As for Itadori, he just recently entered into the Jujutsu world."
"I could have not followed orders, ya know. Plus, I've been trying to stop Itadori from going to Shibuya." Mei Mei said making the puppet keep quiet for a moment, "Then why are cursed users coming to kill you?" Mechamaru said making Yuji look back as he heard heavy footsteps coming their way, "I sense two of them. Itadori, are they stronger than the curse you fought?" Mei Mei asked looking at the special grade sorcerer, "They are." He answered making the older sorcerer think. "Let's ignore them and go check on Gojo." She said which Mechamaru shot down, "You can't. The situation has changed, the barrier theyre using are superior to ours. At the moment, there are four curtains around Shibuya, the first one traps civilians; second on traps Gojo and third one bars sorcerers from entering, the last one you've already dealt with it." The puppet explained.
"Before this contingency falls off, please listen to me." Mechamaru pleaded as Yuji looked at Mei Mei who nodded before he put the puppet back on his ear, "Itadori, you go back to Meiji-Jingu-Mae and then go to Shibuya from above. Inform the sorcerers that Gojo has been sealed as his rescue needs as much help as possible. Mei Mei, you open a path for Itadori and stay down here to manage things since we don't know how they'll attack. If Satoru Gojo is gone then both the Jujutsu world and Human society will be upended, so I apologize as you have to put your lives on the line." The puppet finished, Mei Mei got her weapon ready as the cursed spirits approached them, "Go, I got this." Mei Mei said as Yuji nodded, "Alright."
Taking a deep breath, he bolted past the curses at full speed which left everyone behind him surprised, he reached the exit in a matter of seconds and ran through the streets of Shibuya, "Itadori, I got good news. They can't move Gojo from B5F." Mechamaru said making the boy grin, "Still putting up, huh sensei?" "We're going to surround them by having every sorcerer move in from every adjacent subway station, once the curtain stopping us from entering is gone then we can attack." The puppet explained making the boy nod. Getting an idea on how he can contact everyone, he ran to the nearest tall building. At the bottom of the building, he saw some transfigured humans attacking civilians. The boy got a flash back of the transfigured human he killed back in the Mahito incident making him bite his lip hard, "I'm sorry." He apologized before swiftly killing all the mutated humans before running up the building and taking a deep breath.
"NANAMIN! NANAMIN, ARE YOU THERE!?!" he shouted at the top of his lungs hoping the man could hear him, "GOJO SENSEI WAS SEALED!!!" he continued shouting until Megumi slapped the back of his head. "Huh Megumi? Nanamin? And who's that guy with the shiesty?" Yuji questioned surprised. Mechamaru caught the other sorcerers up, "Attacking from the nearby stations does make sense but in order to for that to work we have to remove the first curtain." Nanami said thinking on the plan, "Since this is an emergency, we have to multi-task." The puppet added leaving the group in a heavy atmosphere, "I'll go outside and deal with the curtain with Ijichi. Meanwhile, you three deal with the curtain thats prohibiting sorcerers from entering."
"Ino, you're taking the lead on this. Kusakabe and supreme grade 1 sorcerer Zenin should be inside the curtain as well. If you see them, explain the situation and ask for their help. And Yuji." Said boy looked at his teacher tilting his head, "Take care of these two." The teacher said leaving, making the boy nod while Ino looked at him with some jealousy. "Before we start you should understand what's on stake here. They're two problems that can come up in Gojo disappears, one: The Gojo family will lose their power so all the people that are under the familys protection will become a nuisance to the higher ups and worst-case scenario, they'll get killed. Two: The balance of power will collapse meaning that the people who are in the shadows thanks to Gojos existence, will come out and make their move. If we lose curse users and cursed spirits will go into war leading to the extinction of the age of human. Now that you understand, let's go destroy that curtain and rescue Satoru Gojo!" Ino finished as the group jumped off the building and ran towards the curtain.
When they got there, they looked the curtain over, "Yuji." Megumi said making his friend nod and went closer to the curtain, "Trace on." Yuji chanted summoning Playful Cloud which surprised Ino as he wondered what the first years cursed technique was. The boy coated his weapon with cursed energy and took a breath before going into an onslaught of attacks which created shockwaves with each blow. A minute later he stopped and sighed, hoisting the staff over his neck, "This thing is steady as hell." He commented looking back at his team, "What the actual fuck!? The power and speed from those strikes are insane!?" "Lets try finding a weak spot and making a hole there." Megumi suggested.
Ino thought about it and shook his head, "There's no point if we can't go inside." He said making the first years confused, "A curtain prevents sorcerers from entering because its a barrier and they are meant for protecting and providing cover. Logically speaking the caster should be inside the curtain. But by staying outside the curtains strength increases but the caster is at risk of being seen and attacked." He continued making the others think. "If that's the case then the curtain's source of origin should be somewhere obvious." Megumi hypothesizes making Yuji think before his eyes caught wind of something, "Like the Shibuya S Tower?" the weapons user asked as the other two looked at the building. "Nice work." Ino said as Megumi summoned Nue and the three got on and flew to the tower.
Megumi got off at the base of the building before Nue flew to the top where they saw three people there, Yuji pulled out a wire and attached it to the bird and jumped off as he caught the old man and woman but as he used it to threw them off the building the younger male of the three grabbed the old woman only leaving the man to fly off. Not finished, Yuji jumped off quickly tying the man up and using him to swing himself into the building while the old man fell to the ground.
The sorcerer got back on Nue and flew down landing next to his classmate as they approached the unmoving man, "Alright old man get up, I can still hear your heartbeat." Yuji said as the old man chuckled and got up, "Jeez kids these days got no pity for the elderly." The man said breaking out of his restraints. Yuji pulled Playful cloud of his neck as the two boys started attacking the man but to their surprise the dealt no damage at all. The old man pulled out a knife and hit Yuji which made the boys jump back, "Tch. Megumi, give me an opening." Yuji said switching his staff out of the Inverted Spear of Heaven, his friend nodded and put his hands together making a rabbit as a large amount of shikigami rabbits appeared and started running and jumping around the old man who looked around staying alert.
Before he knew it, Yuji started running around the old man cutting him all around surprising his opponent as his cursed technique didn't protect him. Yuji finished by cutting some of the man's tendons leaving down and immobile. "Good job." Megumi said as he tied the old man up and took the talisman he had before destroying them as the curtain went down, "Huh? That's the curtain that doesn't let sorcerers in, right? Why did one go down when we destroyed three?" Yuji asked as his friend thought about it, "They either used all three for one curtain or two of them were fake." He hypothesized before something caught his eye, "Ino!!" he shouted and summoned Nue to help break the falling boys fall before Yuji caught him noticing that he was out cold. After checking that the boy was alive, Megumi suggested they retreat to get Ino to safety, "I'll leave Ino to you, I'm going to the station." Yuji said making his friend glare at him before sighing. "Fine but-." "If I die, you'll kill me. I heard the stick already." The boy chuckled making his friend shut his mouth, "Tsk, and don't forget it. I'll see you soon." Megumi said as he walked away while Yuji ran to Shibuya station.
