Author's Note: Day 3

The First Game's Protagonist, default name Olivia, is something of a broken base character among the franchise. Initially a commoner student entering the Academy through a scholarship Olivia would quickly begin, whether accidentally or intentionally, seducing at least one but up to five of the first game's capture targets. While at first a very nice young lady a near brush with death in the academy's dungeon caused a radical shift in her personality becoming more aggressive and ruthless with her interactions with others outside of whatever capture target she's pursuing. While many do like and agree with the personality shift the brutal level of difficulty in the game typically leads to the strategy of Olivia using the five capture targets as meat shields while she hangs back and focuses on healing and support. One of the most important things to remember about Olivia is that she appears to be directly related to the original Saintess Ann and is probably the, if not one of the, singularly powerful mages of her entire generation. It is not an exaggeration to say that the combination of Olivia's immense reserves of magical power together with her ability to directly manipulate biological matter pushes her into the category of a person of mass destruction. Extreme caution must be taken when dealing with her.

Excerpt from Diary 1.

Mylene Rapha Holfort was once again in her office tackling the mountains of paper work that the day to day task of running a kingdom entails. Though looking ahead of her she noted that she wasn't alone in her efforts anymore. Not that Mylene could rely on her husband or the assistants that he constantly hogged no, she had a far more reliable entity than him.

"Your majesty." A messenger knocked on the door of the office. "Duke Redgrave is here to speak with you." Which was strange as to Mylene's knowledge there was no major ongoing emergency to warrant a visit from her number 2.

"What kind of mood is he in?" Mylene asked as she put her quill away and steeple her hands together.

"Exceptionally foul." Mylene hung her head and let out a sigh. What has Roland done now?

"Send him in."

In that moment the doors slammed over as Vincent stormed into the office. He didn't even look at Mylene's 'assistants' this time, either he's gotten used to them or...

"Have you been keeping track of what your idiot son has been doing!?" Vincent had started his sentence by slamming his hands onto Mylene's desk, didn't even disturb the paper work that she had piled up to either side of her.

"Not recently no." Mylene stated as already information was going through her head. "Julius has requested a break from his duties while he's at the acad-"

Another pile of paper was thrown over Vincent's shoulder as Gilbert walked into view.

"This goes far past the academy!" Gilbert snapped angrily. "Angie sent us excerpts from her diary Transcribing meetings with the prince over the past five years." Mylene didn't have time to go through this, not with Vincent on the warpath anyway. Luckily she had people for that.

"Luxion, if you wouldn't mind summarising this for me?"

"Certainly your Majesty." From one of the desks one of the Red eyed Grey orb 'assistants' that Mylene had been using floated over and proceeded to blow the pages into the air and scan them as they flew by. "Oh my."

Mylene just let out a sigh for that.

"The important information only please." Mylene just let out a tired sigh as she felt a headache coming on.

"It seems that Julius's and Angelica's meetings over the years have been less than amicable. They have a tendency of degenerating into the prince shouting his various displeasure's at the responsibility thrust upon his person over the years at her." To Mylene's memory Julius usually walked out of those meetings somewhat refreshed, Angelica somewhat neutral but when asked she always said 'I'm good'. So Angelica was forcibly putting on a brave face then. "There's More." Because of course there is. "The Prince has been seduced by a Girl from the destitute Lafan household Marie Fou Lafan, who has also seduced the Field, Seburg, Arclight and Marmoria heirs as well." Mylene felt her soul leave her body at the statement. "Further more-" But Luxion was dedicated in his efforts to drag her back down to hell. "This is the Girl in question." The floating mechanical eye produced an image that, no matter how you looked at it, showed a girl in her single digits getting her photo taken for her school ID that obviously lied and said that the girl was 15 years of age. "Due to some sort of Newman biological quirk, it seems that she is locked to her current form and will not be growing or maturing into a body that can safely conduct the wifely duties that would be expected of her for one family, let alone five." It seems that Mylene had finally had enough of this foolishness.

"Luxion where are we on damage control?" The Queen leaned forward and glared, Luxion was quite certain that if the drone suffered that glare for too long it would explode, you can never be sure with Newmans.

"By our current estimates? I can theoretically fulfil the duties that would be filled by the Offrey, Winchester, Patton and Atlee marriages, given another decade worth of time." That they might not have. "The issue here will of course be dealing with those households in the mean time. Also, no amount of my management skills can appease this one." There was no need to mention who Luxion was talking about.

"I agree with the ball." Though Vincent still voiced his opinion on the matter anyway. "I wonder how exactly you plan on making this up to my family?" Vincent loomed over Mylene, glaring at her. Luxion was powerful yes but even he would be beaten by the numbers and fire power that Vincent could bring to the war table.

"We can discuss Julius's punishment later, for now I need to manage the situations with the other households. Then I will personally go to the academy and obtain his side of the story." Mylene stated already calculating the next move.

"With your permission I will personally go to the school and obtain information on the truth of this matter." Mylene nodded her head to Luxion's suggestion. Had she known that school life would've turned her son into such an idiot she would've had the orb trailing Julius since before the school year started.

Marie leaned on her newly purchased slave for help, having been ambushed by three of the Villainess's minions she had her book sack stolen and right now they were working to track them down, though Marie already knew where they were going. Within the next few moments Marie would get to witness her textbooks being thrown into the incinerator, a transparent attempt by the villainess to force her to leave the academy, and a not very good one either. All that this would result in is Angelica getting into another heated argument with Julius and yet another tick being added to the count down to when Angelica would blow her top and challenge Julius to a duel.

As the two approached the incinerator they were met by a demi-human maid.

"Excuse me I think this is yours." Said maid handing back Marie's intact book sack, along with her things inside, before she resumed the direction that she had been walking in dragging along the three minions who had beaten her up earlier.

Okay what's going on lately?

Angelica was confused to say the least when Left came barging into Angelica's rented classroom dragging three of her followers along. Angelica received an explanation about what the three of them had been doing when they were caught red handed and Angelica began to boil, the temperature in the room beginning to sky-rocket.

"Try as I might I simply Cannot Fathom what monstrous bout of stupidity has possessed you three to do this!" Angelica glared at the three girls who were sitting repentantly in the seiza position. "What were you three fools planning on doing when the little whore went to her boyfriends? No that isn't even the most important question, it could be that you simply didn't think that far ahead." Angelica narrowed her glare at her 'friends' even further. "What exactly did you hope to accomplish by doing this?" Angelica held up a single hand and produced a ball of flame. "Depending on your answer extreme measures might have to be taken!"

"Umm." Olivia was sitting off to the side, and now having seen the situation escalate to the point that Angelica was willing to use offensive magic she had a genuine point of concern that she needed to raise. "Is this really that bad?"

"A refresher then." While it occurred to Angelica Olivia might not know the full extent of Angelica's relationship with Julius she didn't think that she would need to know, but now was a good as time as any to make sure that all of Angelica's followers understand the situation and so that this would not happen again. "Many of you are aware of Julius's and my own respective status. Julius as the future Crown prince represents the largest political entity in the entire Kingdom, I as the Duke's daughter, and in the event my brother fails to produce an heir it's heiress, represents the second largest Political entity. Relatively recent events, the separation of the Principality of Fanoss, has put a great amount of undo stress upon the political glue binding the kingdom together. In the worst case scenario even civil war wouldn't be off the table, and in that event we cannot expect our various neighbours to sit back quietly and let us sort our own internal affairs."

"That's why we tried to drive that little whore out of the school!" The first of the three, Antoinette, piped up in a hurry.

"Fools!" Angelica's eyes glowed as she cursed. "I already have a rocky relationship with Julius! Should you have gone through with your attempt Marie would go to him, tell him what you did, and then he would find you expecting his pound of flesh!" Which loops back to her original question. "What would you have done then!?"

"She wouldn't go to Julius!" The Second of the girls, Mildred, replied full of confidence. "With the duke's authority we'd be able to use the threat against her family to keep her silent." Angelica glared at the girl in question, her look becoming increasingly murderous as time went on.

"Would this be the same family that starved the little whore so badly she hasn't been able to grow properly and keeps forcing their debts onto her?" Mildred was slowly going pale in the face. "Did you mean to threaten that family?" Mildred looked down terrified at the revelation. "So then what would you have done when you were threatened by Julius?" Angelica repeated the question for the third time, and still got no answers, finally she gave one. "Since none of you are answering this very simple, extremely important question, I'm afraid that I'm the one who must do so instead." The Duchess let out a put upon sigh. "You would've told him I told you to do it wouldn't you?" Contrary to the increasing heat of the room, the entire room went cold. Ice cold.

"No! No! No! That's not true!" The last of the Three, Elizabeth, swung her hands defensively as she desperately tried to explain. Alas despite her best efforts she couldn't think of anything to say.

"I'm waiting!" Angelica growled, her patience coming to an end. Silence, even Olivia could only sigh in exasperation. "You three are very lucky this woman is able to anticipate my needs so much better than you are, or else I would leave you three to the prince to reap the much deserved fruits of your labours!"

A knock echoed from the door, which opened as the green haired man invited himself through.

"The Prince requests your presence Angelica." Jilk Fia Marmoria stated as he looked down at Angelica from his standing position.

"I'm busy." Angelica stated indicating the three fools that she had been disciplining. "I Wasn't asking." The room dropped its temperature by several degrees as frost appeared on the door and walls behind Jilk.

Second among the capture targets is Jilk Fia Marmoria, Prince Julius's sworn brother. Unlike most the other capture targets Jilk possesses no real flaws in his fighting style, preferring the use of ranged attacks through guns and rifles but proficient with an axe as a back up weapon, traits that cause him to pair well with Julius, which makes sense as you have to interact with the Julius, the party's tank, in order unlock his route, the Party's sniper. That said Jilk's personality needs the most work of the five, heir to the Kingdom's black ops division through the Marmoria household Jilk was raised with the intention that should Julius do something stupid and jeopardise his position Jilk will be the one to take the fall for his mistakes. Jilk's route involves gradually pulling him out of his scapegoat mentality and into the metaphorical light.

Excerpt from Diary 1

The temperature around Angelica's side of the room skyrocketed. The Cold and Hot air mixed together and the ensuing winds blew away the documents that Angelica had around the room as the two glared at each other. This staring contest continued for another few moments, then gradually the frost behind Jilk melted, the winds evened out, and Jilk started to sweat.

"Never. Make. Demands. Of Me. Again. Marmoria!" Angelica growled her eyes glowing red, then Angelica flexed an eyebrow, and just like that the blistering hot heat dispersed. "Do I make myself clear?"

"...I'll wait for you outside to finish with your followers." Jilk left the room, even so it was obvious that he hadn't left yet.

"If you three are lucky-" And everyone in the room knew which three Angelica had been talking about too. "-this has nothing to do with what we were talking about." The three girls let out a terrified whine as Angelica's statement. "The Rest of you will escort Olivia to her room. Left I will have to ask you to accompany me." The group stood up to disperse, Olivia held Angelica's arm before she could leave. "Be careful." Angelica nodded her head to Olivia's warning before she left the room proper.

The room that Angelica was escorted to was a corner of the cafeteria, privately reserved for the Prince and his entourage's use. Jilk moved to stand next to Julius, the little whore was no where in sight.

"I'll be generous, and give you an opportunity to fess up to your crimes." Julius kept his glare on Angelica narrow as he impatiently tapped his finger against the knuckle of his other hand.

"Should I assume that this has something to do with my followers attempt to destroy Marie's belongings?" Angelica's statement surprised Julius, to him it must've been like a criminal acting as if their crimes were completely irrelevant. "I was in the middle of desciplining the guilty culprits when your henchman barged into our meeting and made demands on your behalf." Angelica scoffed. "Here I was hoping that you might be willing to apologise for your behaviour as of late. If you have nothing else to say-"

"Attempt to?" Angelica was abruptly cut off with a bundle of papers charred and burned were thrown onto the desk, the texts on front clearly indicating a magic text book for the subject of healing. "What exactly do you think they 'attempted' to do?" Angelica looked at the text books, her mind racing as calculations went through her mind, her temper slowly rising as she assembled the facts together. "Don't you have anything to say for yourself?" Contrary to Julius's and Jilk's expectations, Angelica burst out laughing. "What's so funny!?"

"How can I not laugh!? You actually think that I want to chase your little pet whore out of the academy!?" Angelica's face was smiling, her eyes weren't even as she wiped away false tears of joy.

"What else are you trying to get your followers to do!?" Julius slammed his down in anger. "You miserable bi-"

The room temperature sky rocketed, it became so hot that it was hard to breathe, even with Jilk desperately trying to lower the temperature down to a more manageable level.

"One!" Angelica stepped forward, her tone of voice summarised as 'Absolutely livid.' "I am your wife, the future Queen of this nation, and the would be mother of your children. And you will never, speak to me like that again! Two!" Marie's charred textbooks finished their transition into ash as Angelica walked forward. "There is one very simple way to know that I mean no harm to your little pet whore: She is still alive!" Angelica heard a light squeak from the nearby curtains, and so raised her voice. "The Docks and the void sea below them are to the South of the school, the Dungeon to the North, further to the East there's the capital's sewage treatment plant: I could have Marie killed, her corpse disposed of and you would never know what happened to her." Angelica calmed down the raging temperature in the room before she boiled Julius and Jilk in their own fluids. The sudden spike in temperature didn't go unnoticed, nor did Angelica screaming her death threat against Marie. Left at this point was the only thing keeping the meeting 'private.'

"But no that wouldn't solve the problems between us would they? No for that to happen I would have to have Marie captured and tortured for several hours, dragged into the first floor of the Dungeon and her neck snapped, then as she lay dying I would have to take her blood and write out the name of the next most obvious suspect. Offrey sounds about right, someone else she's pissed off, and the one who most likely already attempted murder at least once this year." Julius's body was dripping sweat after Angelica's earlier display, he wasn't exactly in a position to verbally retaliate. "You would of course need help to go and exact your bloody vengeance. Your four friends are the most obvious candidates but they would already be in a rocky relationship with their families after embarrassing their marriage partners. So you would inevitably have to come to one of us for help. I don't see Sarah caring, Jillian wouldn't be able to divert her father's assets, Clarice doesn't have the needed fire power, so that just leaves me." Angelica smirked as she opened her arms wide. "And when the Offrey territory is left a smouldering ruin I would be there with a shoulder for you to cry on basking in marital bliss." Angelica smirked as Julius's features twisted in rage. She had clearly spent a long time thinking through how she would get rid of Marie.

"You little-!" Angelica's eyes glowed, a reminder of what she was capable of doing. "Why tell me this?"

"Marie has a very important, very clear role to play in our relationship, that much you have made abundantly clear." Angelica's features smoothed out as she rested her chin on her fist. "She is the one who keeps you happy while I go about the work of actually running the kingdom."

Julius's face went into a neutral state as if he was hit with enlightenment.

"So you really don't love me after all?" Julius had a bitter tone in his voice. "You are only after the throne!"

"'I don't love you?'" Angelica raised a brow at that. "Surely you jest? I spent my entire childhood in love with you. I wasted thousands of hours pining after your affections. And what did I get in return? I got yelled at for matters that have nothing to do with me. I have been accused of crimes I have not committed, and I have been saddled with the responsibility of paying for our lives of luxury by myself as you gallivant off with another girl." Angelica huffed as she spoke. "Tell me should I have starved myself to the point that my body stopped growing like that child? Does the figure of an actual grown woman disgust you so much? Because I have been trying to make a relationship work with you for a decade, and I am the only one who has been trying!"

"You think I haven't been doing-"

"When have you invited me on one of your little 'adventures' sneaking out of the royal palace?" Julius's mouth made a pretty good impression of a gold fish as he tried to counter. "You clearly understand the burden being placed on us both but you never thought to bring me along on your little 'adventures' to release that stress have you?"

"How do you...?" Angelica interrupted Julius with a scoff.

"You didn't even bother to make your own secret tunnel out of the palace, you used the same one your father made when he was a child." Angelica just shook her head at her partner's foolishness. "When exactly have you invited me out to eat at a place you actually enjoy? I know for a fact that you hold no love for the chowder soups that you always eat at the Seburg's restaurant." Angelica stated letting out a sigh. "I on the other hand keep sending you invites to the various BBQ places that I enjoy, both in my family's territory and in the capital. But I have yet to get a response. Have you even opened the letters I wonder? Or do you simply see my family's crest on the seal and move on?" Julius couldn't say anything back to that. "Let's see here 'feels oppressed by his family's responsibilities,' 'sneaks out on supervised adventures,'" Julius took offence to that, he always eludes the guards. "'likes to eat steak skewers.' Yes I'd say that we've covered everything that I've been able to pull out of the people around you." Angelica tapped her finger on her mouth as she mused the implications in her mind. "It's not like I can get anything else out of someone who refuses to tell me anything about him." Angelica stood up as she prepared to leave. "Thank you for taking the time out of your oh so busy schedule to speak with me Julius." Angelica smoothed out her skirt as she prepared to leave. "I have to go back and do real work while you suck face with that child over there." Again the curtain eeped as Angelica walked away, not to the exit but to the curtain, a fist full of ashes in her hand. "If you destroy school property then you are the one responsible for replacing it." Angelica released the ground up ashes of the text book in front of the curtain before she left. "Understood?" And then Angelica left for real as Marie collapsed out of the Curtain.

"That was so close! That was too Close!" Marie screamed and whined as she sunk her face into her hands even as Julius and Jilk ran over to comfort her. Why the hell did she ever think that picking a fight with this psychopath was a good idea!?

"Sh Sh! It's alright Marie." Julius started rubbing circles into the small of Marie's back as he spoke. "We won't let her hurt you!" Marie wanted to beat this idiot over his head with her shoe! He won't let her hurt her!? Angelica released a little bit of magic and Julius couldn't even move! It was all coming back to her! These guys were useless in the game! She had to blackmail her idiot brother into beating the game for her because she kept getting killed over and over again in the dungeons! Why the hell did she cosy up to these losers when it means provoking the wrath of something like that!?

Angelica forced her way out of the crowd that gathered around the cafeteria, ignoring their looks of pity as she went into the bathroom. Angelica turned on the tap to maximum cold as she began desperately gulping down handfuls of cold water, followed up by splashing them onto her face trying to cool herself off. After a few moments Angelica looked back into the mirror. Streaks of sweat were running down past her eyes and made trails down her face. Getting heated like that always did take a lot out of her.

"How unsightly." Angelica was doing well in her magic lessons, Professor Gandalf, as a fellow fire caster, will understand her needing to take a shower after that display. She'll need a change of clothes too, they must be soaked through with sweat, at this rate she'll have to take the whole afternoon off. "Can't be helped. Left are you still there?" As Angelica undid her hair Left appeared behind her. "I'll need someone to bring me a clean set of clothes. I very well can't take the classes for this afternoon like this."

"Certainly. Should we also deliver word that you will be skipping classes this afternoon to your teachers as well?" Left asked watching silently as Angelica slowly removed her uniform.

"Make it so." Left nodded her head as Angelica went to the showers, her clothes left on a pile on the bench right down to her Lacey red underwear set that Left then collected to transport. Cranking up the cold again Angelica just sat on the floor curled into a ball as the cold water did it's work. The Duchess didn't know how long she was like that before someone came into the bathroom again.

"Angie? Left told me that you need some clean clothes." Olivia's voiced echoed in from the changing room.

"Just leave them on the bench over there." Angelica's voice had no enthusiasm as the water ran off of her, just a vague tone of 'go away and leave me be.' A few moments later and a set of bare legs walked up to the duke's daughter.

"Angie..." Olivia had stripped down before she went into the shower with Angelica, a reasonable precaution considering all the water that was flying around the room right now. "...you aren't going to get clean like that."

Olivia spent the next hour or so manually moving Angelica's rag-doll like body around the shower as she manually soaked and scrubbed every inch of her body and shampooed her hair on top of that before drying her off with a towel. Once Angelica was minty fresh Olivia redressed each other in their uniforms before walking Angelica back to her room for the night where as it turns out Angelica sleeps in the nude, her natural fire mana making it too hot for her to sleep with any clothing on, even in the winter time. The next day Angelica was still in bed and showed no sign or intention of getting out at all.

"I've never seen anyone like this!" Olivia voiced her concerns for Angelica to Leon along with Left and Right that morning. "She hasn't even touched her breakfast yet and hasn't moved by herself since the shower from yesterday!"

Julius you Swine!

"Remind me to punch the prince twice when we see him!" Leon instructed, his nails digging into the table.

"Will do waka." Right gave a salute as Leon refocused his attention to solving the immediate problem laid out before them.

"What are we going to do Leon!?" Olivia once again dragged the subject back on topic.

"Right, Angelica needs someone to look after her for the day." At Leon's instruction Left gave a salute before heading into Angelica's room.

"I can look after Angelica Leon." Olivia stated insistent. "What we need is a plan to help her feel better!"

"I do, we're going to expel her negative feelings from her body." Leon explained bluntly.

"We can do that?" Olivia asked sounding surprised.

"We can, but first I'm going to have to increase the intensity of your lessons." Leon used his thumb to indicate the training yard. "One hundred ball tosses to start the morning should be a good place to work from." Olivia received a deep pit of fear from Leon's statement.

Marie was in trouble. Somehow events had gone wrong in a radical direction, the Villainess wasn't playing any of her usual lines, and despite delving into the dungeon every night she still couldn't find the saintess bracelet. It's not like she could look up the map on the internet like when she played the game. If something didn't go right soon then all of Marie's plans were going to go up in flames! Distracted, Marie walked into a solid mass of metal, and looking up her face froze with fear. Sir Richard Fia Dragneel! The boss from the duel for the second year, the one that took all five of the boys combined or one severely over levelled Julius to beat! What was he doing here!?

"Marie Fou Lafan I presume?" Somehow the severe tone of the man's voice didn't make it sound like he was asking a question.

"No." The person in question denied weakly while her body shook in terror. Suddenly and without warning, the knight picked Marie up by the scruff of her uniform.

"I'm afraid that you have to come with me for some very important questions that need to be answered." Marie weakly whined in fear.

guest09: Your Welcome. Jilk's encouraging Julius to keep pursuing Marie at this point now that Angelica seemingly has her own side piece, after all now that they are mutually cheating on each other it is socially acceptable for Julius to pursue Marie.
