Chapter 29
Talks
Levi opened the door to his old home in the Underground. Memories filled his head of Isabel and Farlan. He hadn't been back since after he joined the Survey Corps and their deaths. He stepped in. Jean, Mikasa, Armin, Eren, Sasha, Conny, Christa, and Nifa followed. Nifa was sent with Hange in case medical was needed. Hange begged to go with, but Levi turned her down.
"Mikasa. Your still injured. I want you to rest. The rest of you will be cleaning this place, top to bottom. Jean. You are with me to look for Kara." Levi ordered.
"Captain. We should all go. She's our friend." Conny said.
"It be to suspisious with all of us, plus this place is filthy. Needs to be clean in case Kara is hurt. Eren. Your in charge of making sure this place is spotless." Levi said.
"Is her father really that bad?" Christa asked.
"Yes." Levi said, turning towards the door. "Let's go, Jean." Jean followed him out.
"Where do we start?" Jean asked.
"Let's go find a few of his men. I'll make them lead us to him." Levi said with a growl.
Kara was grabbed by the shirt. Her heart was pounding in her chest as her father pulled her off the floor. Her father threw her into a chair. She gritted her teeth as she caught the chair from falling.
"You been causing me nothing but problems since your mom died." Marcus said. Kara looked at him.
"I have done nothing of the sort. And its hard to be when part of the Military." Kara said.
"I heard. Top 1 of your class. I heard the MPs that they were hoping you and that Ackerman would join them, but you joined the Scouts." Marcus growled.
"It kept you from finding me." Kara said, going to stand, but is pushed down.
"I had spies that kept track of you for me. I was pissed when that short Captain adopted you." Marcus said.
"He was more of a father then you ever were." Kara said. Smack. She felt the sting on her check. She felt tears fall down her checks.
"If you were a boy, maybe. I never wanted a daughter. You can't carry on my last name. And your mother couldn't have any more after having a complicated pregancy. Your grandparents were disappointed." Marus said.
"It's not like your important. You were a MP till what happened to mother." Kara said.
"Actually your mother is." Marcus said.
"What do you mean?" Kara said. Marcus smirked.
"I come from a Noble Family. They never approved of your mother and disowned me. My only chance of getting back was having a boy, but you ended up being a girl. They weren't thrilled." Marcus said. Noble family? Kara was having a really hard time processing this. "Though I think you could do better then the man your with now." Kara gritted her teeth. "He is below us." Kara tried to stand up he threw her back into the chair and it fell back. Her head hit the floor. Stars flew in front of her eyes. Tears welled in her eyes.
'Jean.' Kara thought.
"It doesn't matter now. You'll never see him again. You'll be dead." Marcus said. Kara looked up at him as he goes to the counter to grab a knife. Kara tried scooting back. Her head was pounding. A man stepped in. He glared at Kara.
"Master. We might have an issue. Step outside quick." The man said. Marcus sighed and stepped outside. Kara looked around till she saw a fire poker and quickly scooted over to cut the ropes.
Jean and Levi walked through the streets. Jean didn't miss people leaning against the walls, looking skinny. He had heard talks of the place. It was known for the criminals and slave market. Kara told him that her father grew up there.
"We're wasting time. He could have her dead already." Jean said.
"If she was hit by a traqualizer, she be out for sometime. He wouldn't kill her knocked out." Levi said. Jean sighed. "Jean. When we get to her. I want you to check her for injuries and make sure she's alright. She's not gonna go down without a fight." Jean nodded. Levi's eyes narrow when he saw a man talking to another.
"What is it?" Jean asked.
"I reconize him. He's the one that lead the first kidnap attempt on Kara before I adopted her." Levi said. The man spotted them and his eyes widen.
"He's also the one I spotted when they took her." Jean said. Levi growled. The man took off, running and Levi went one way while Jean ran after him. He knocked over boxes as he ran. Jean jumped over them with ease. The man rounded the corner to be greated by a fist colliding with his face by Levi. Jean grabbed him.
"Where is she?!" Levi ordered.
"She's probably already dead. Why waste your time on the bitch?" The man said. That was not the right words as Levi slammed the mans head into the ground.
"Tell me where she is or you'll get my foot in your mouth." Levi said. Jean never saw the Captain this mad, but he knew better then question the Captain. The man looked at him with bood running down from his nose.
"Go to hell." The man said. Jean kicked the mans head hard. Levi was impressed. Jean turned the man and grabbed him by the shirt.
"I don't give a fuck what you say. You tell us where she is. Or I'll make sure your fed to the Titans!" Jean growled. The man's eyes widen and Levi stood with his arms crossed.
"I'll take you to him." The man said. Jean pulled the man to his feet.
"No funny business. Take us straight to Marcus." Levi said. The man started to lead them.
'Hold on Kara. We're coming.' Jean thought.
