the day Lenore found her psychically linked BFF was the day she went on that fateful field trip to the lexcorp labs in Metropolis, the city was the only one that wasn't completely leveled and had to be rebuilt after the destruction caused by an event known by many people all over the world know as the devastation, a terrible invasion of multiple alien forces that completely devastated every big city on earth except from Metropolis mostly due to the efforts of the resident hero Superman, the people of metropolis made sure to mention this everywhere they went, you know for example heard it about a thousand times from about a hundred billion Metropolis tourists about every day

but back on track, the field trip was okay Lenore supposed, just a lot of science talk from the tour guide, nothing she hasn't already heard from the documentaries about Lex corp. she's just about to pull out her headphones to drown out the noise when she suddenly gets an intense headache

nearly toppling over she weekly excuses herself to the bathroom, she barely gets halfway to the actual route to the bathroom when the headache becomes more intense and she can almost swear she starts to hear a voice in her head

" help... Me.. Find..me" the voice says at almost like a switch the pain in her head subsides and when she opens her eyes she sees the flickering form of a black haired girl in Middle School scrubs as white as the right rabbit, and as soon as Eyes Upon her the girl turns and runs in a certain direction straight through a door marked staff only

to her surprise the door isn't locked and soon she continues to follow the flickering black haired girl until she's in front of a giant specimen tube, within floats the black haired girl suspended in a green liquid a breathing mask strap to her face

something about this moment tells Lenore to put her hand on the glass and when she does the girl's eyes snap open and she too though tentatively put your hand on the glass separating the two of them

time seems to stop in that moment the powers reach out for each other and finally with a burst of connection they think, memories that seem to come not from the girl in front of her but someone she was made to look like flow like a slideshow into Lenoir's, and vice versa with lenore's memories

this girl's name is Ace, or at least the girl she's made to resemble his name was that, and it's when the last memory that of the girl slowly fading from Life in the Batman's arms Fizzles out like a burned out slide do both girls finally noticed the surrounding corpses of guards most likely called by the blaring alarm system

before Lenoir can act out her first idea to get Ace out of her gooey prison by breaking the glass is one of the scientists called but I love blaring alarm system and so the normal uses her irresistible mental dominance powers to make the man type in the release code for Aces containment pod

and from that day on the two girls were BFFs for Life. mentally linked by maybe Destiny, Maybe a good turn of luck that on that day a fellow psychic happened to be going through lexcorp, but it doesn't really matter what brought them together all that does matter is that they are and they both bring a certain kindred spirit to both of their lives

Lewis

the day it happened was doing summer vacation Lewis and his boyfriend Stuart were getting public execution levels of stoned on a super strain of weed, the absolutely weed fogged brains find the best thing to do during this time of incredible highness is to summon a demon

so they look up some Demon rituals on the internet and find one for some child looking one code " Clarion"

so they decide to do this ritual in the basement, after they set up all the stuff and draw the white sigils though they draw it a bit sloppy through there highness they start chanting the Latin incantation in the article

"Puer maga magna et terribilis, Invocamus te" the two boys say in slurred unison

the two of them are about to blow the candles and nothing happens for a couple minutes but then all of the candles burst into geysers of flame blocking the site from the middle of the summoning Circle, all they can see is the silhouette of teenager forming

when the silhouette finishes forming the candles all go out simultaneously and before them in the summoning Circle stands an eerily pale teenager with hair spiked up like demon horns wearing wearing an outfit that looks like it came from Victorian times," what have you mortal summoned before" the entity the high teenagers can only assume is Clarion says annoyedly

'just to hang out I guess I don't know" Stuart says

"and what do I get in return for this hanging out?" Clarion questions

a couple hours later the three boys sit back in Lewis's room absolutely sloshed on hell Dimension drugs

Dorothy

Dorothy doesn't really have any BFFs oh she does have a familiar trapped in a book

the day she found the book she was rummaging through a Bargain Bin in a book shop, when she pulls out a Dusty Tome that seems to emanate terrible evil magic, she just looks at it shrugs and goes to the just to buy it

when she gets home it begins to speak to her the moment she steps into her room," open me and I shall give you knowledge of many terrible magics" The Voice from the book beckon

" okay" go if he says and when she does open the book pages begin to fly out and before her forms a sexy younger man was white hair add medieval looking clothes

the moment he starts to talk about how pretty Dorothy is she knows this guys just trying to butter her up for something and she's not going to have that, so she takes out her lighter

" I do suggest you shut up and start teaching me about magic before I like this thing on fire" she says flicking it on and placing the flame to lick upon one of the pages, the white haired man gasps in burning pain it accepts her ultimatum

to make sure the guy doesn't try to trick her again she places him under a familiar binding spell, of that forward Dorothy has a dragon trapped in a book as her magical mentor and eternal familiar, though the guy may be bound by the spell to obey her every command she still likes to threaten him with fiery torment every now and then
