Taylor found himself back at Bobby's during the days that he would normally spend alone. He split his time between research, training and helping Kate organize the shop.

Kate came to realize that the work that she found boring was Taylor's way of shutting off his brain. Her drawing was the same as his sorting screws and bolts.

Bobby brought them drinks and some sandwiches. "It looks good out here. I might actually be able to get some work done." He chuckled at the labels. "I see you found a way to put your own touch on it." He said to Kate.

Kate grinned. "I drew what is inside the box so you don't always have to pull it out."

Bobby thanked them and went back inside to research something John had called him about.

"When we are done with this we should do the weapons cupboard." Kate said.

Taylor squinted his eyes. "Is it like this?"

Kate laughed. "Not as bad. I just figure that it will be easier to make ammo and stuff if everything is organized."

Taylor shrugged. "As long as Bobby is okay with it."

Kate rolled her eyes. "Goody two-shoes."

Taylor raised an eyebrow. "What is the other option?... Organize it behind his back and hope we don't mess with something?"

Kate tilted her head.

"He may have his own way of organizing it that makes sense to him." Taylor said. "If I went through your drawing stuff and organized it in a way that I liked, it may throw you off."

Kate crossed her arms. "You have a point."

Taylor handed her some more labels. "Do you mind doing these for what is in those boxes I just sat down?"

Kate leaned against the work table and drew each item on an appropriate label. "You have gotten really good with that bow." Kate said.

Taylor took a bite of his sandwich. "I like using it but there aren't many chances to use it. A gun or knife is probably safer."

Kate looked up. "Arrows are quiet but long distance."

"Deer season is in a couple months and I can use it then." Taylor said with a smile.

"Oh my god. Bobby has deer jerky that is the best thing ever." Kate exclaimed.

Taylor smiled. "I know. I tried it. I'll definitely share what ever deer I can get."

Kate gasped. "When did you try it?"

Taylor looked confused. "A few days ago. Bobby let me have some."

Kate grinned. "I think that is an official welcome to the family."

Taylor hid his smile.

"Don't tell Sam or Dean though." Kate said.

Taylor laughed. "You know Bobby gave me the same advice."

"Maybe we can get more than one deer." Kate added.

"Have you ever been hunting?" Taylor asked.

Kate made a face. "For something that didn't want to kill me too?"

Taylor nodded. "I guess that word has two meanings now." They had been living on one income for a while, although his mom made decent money in later years. His dad would take his brothers hunting some times but Taylor was the only one who took to it. Game was cheaper than meat in the store. He liked that Kate's family knew about that kind of struggle and he didn't need to be embarrassed. "That story about Ada; I wonder what kind of stuff she packed for food. Things didn't last a long time back then and I doubt she had time to cook meals for herself."

Kate hadn't really thought about it. "I think they made cracker things that were made from hard bread."

Taylor had given the story more thought and his understanding of the level of difficulty of the journey grew each time he thought about it. He supposedly wouldn't have been born had she not fled.

Kate could see the wheels turning in Taylor's head. "I want to know more too."

Taylor sighed. "Most people can only read about stuff like that. How cool is it that you had a chance to actually talk to someone that lived hundreds of years ago?"

"Go with me next time." Kate said.

Taylor rubbed the back of his neck. "It may not be safe."

Kate snorted. "Screw safe. What Ada did wasn't safe but here we are."

Taylor didn't completely disagree but didn't want to encourage her. "One day maybe Missouri can help us with that. Sam was able to go with you because he has that ability. I don't. I mean it is a cool time period but I don't think I'd look good in a skirt."

Kate giggled. "It is a kilt."

Taylor smiled. "I wouldn't look good in a kilt either."

Kate turned around to put the labels on the bins and heard something. It was faint. She turned her head in search of the sound but it was so small that she couldn't be sure it wasn't in her head. She had been allowed to practice with her abilities with supervision and had been periodically hearing things. She got headaches too and thought that it may be from trying to control things. She fidgeted with her bracelet but kept it on.

Taylor's knack for sorting didn't just end with objects. He could sort information and pick out which was relevant for each topic. It helped him in school and had proven helpful in research. He had been assisting in decoding the infamous book of Sam's and helped weed through the ramblings versus the important information. He watched Kate and noted that she seemed off again. Sometimes she acted like she was looking for something that wasn't there. He could flawlessly sort just about everything besides Kate. "Maybe we should go inside for a little bit. I could afford to cool down."

Kate grabbed her sandwich and drink. "I have to go help Lacy in a little while but I don't think Bobby had a time limit for this."

"More babysitting?" Taylor asked.

Kate rolled her eyes. "More like zookeeping."

Taylor chuckled. "Do you want me to go over there with you?"

Kate took a deep breath. "Would you really?"

Taylor nodded. "It isn't like I have anywhere else to be."

Kate stepped through the door. "Bobby?"

Bobby cleared his throat and shut the pantry door. "What can I do for you?"

Kate sat her plate in the sink. "Dean wants me to go help Lacy this evening. Taylor offered to go with me. Do you think that would be okay?"

Bobby shrugged. "It is okay with me. Just call one of your parents first."

Taylor took out his phone. "Yes sir, I'll do that now."

Kate scrunched her nose and mouthed the words mockingly.

Bobby looked at her.

She caught his eye and blushed. "He makes me look bad."

Bobby chuckled. "No he doesn't. Just maybe don't mock him. I don't think he'd like that."

Kate smiled sheepishly. "Yes sir?"

Bobby shook his head. "Don't strain yourself."

Kate relaxed. "When we get done with the shop can we do the weapons?"

Bobby rubbed his head. "I guess it couldn't hurt. Just wait until I'm able to be there too."

Kate smiled. "Okay." She heard Taylor walk back into the house. "What did they say?"

"She said that was okay." Taylor said.

"Sweet! With two sets of eyes maybe Luke wont be too much." Kate said.

Taylor had heard stories about Luke and found them amusing.

Kate ran upstairs to shower and change before going to Lacy's.

Taylor sat down at the table. "Is there anything I can help with?"

Bobby shook his head. "No, I was about to take a break and have a drink."

Taylor refilled his own glass and sat back down. He enjoyed hanging out there but he was getting restless with the lack of information.

"What is on your mind?" Bobby asked.

Taylor looked up from his glass. "Family stuff. I want answers like everyone else does."

Bobby could understand that. "We will get answers. It takes time."

Kate quickly got dressed and hopped down the stairs.

Bobby looked at the time. "I'll take you two over there and Dean will pick you up."

"What if he isn't back in time?" Kate asked.

Bobby gave her a look. "Then you walk back. You idjit, I'll pick you up."

Kate giggled. She was convinced that idjit was Bobby's form of an endearment. "When I'm sarcastic, you get mad at me."

Bobby chuckled. "When you get to be my age you can be as sarcastic as you want."

Kate nodded. "I'll write that down in my planner."

Bobby gave her a gentle shove. "Go grab your stuff."

Kate spun around and went to grab her back.

Taylor followed her out and grab his as well. "How long are you watching the kids?"

Kate shrugged. "Not long I guess. Lacy's sister gets off work in a few hours and Lacy just needs me to keep an eye on the kids so she can do some stuff."

Taylor threw his back pack into Bobby's truck. Even with the stories of Luke he figured that the job couldn't be that hard.

As soon as they knocked on the door, Luke ripped the door open and wrapped his arms around Kate's legs.

Kate smiled and gave him a squeeze. "You aren't supposed to answer the door, bud."

Luke looked up at Taylor.

Taylor crouched down. "Hey, I'm Kate and Dean's friend. Do you mind if I come in too?"

Luke stepped back before running back to his toys.

"Good thing we aren't demons." Kate said under her breath.

Taylor smirked.

Lacy was thankful for the backup. "Ivy is asleep. Could you take him to the park? I need to make phone calls and he just wont stop yelling."

Kate could see how frazzled Lacy was. "Yeah, no problem. If Ivy wakes up we can come back and get her."

Lacy thanked them and nearly tossed Luke's bag to Kate.

Taylor felt bad for her.

Kate took Luke's hand. "Remember, always hold someone's hand when crossing the street."

Luke stepped onto the sidewalk and immediately tried to bolt.

Taylor saw Kate struggling. "Do you want a piggy back ride?"

Luke liked that idea.

Kate let her shoulders relax. That solved one major issue for the short journey. She walked down the street to the nearest park. "Okay, Luke. You can play but stay at the park."

"I'm guessing he has made a run for it." Taylor commented.

Kate rolled her eyes. "No matter how many times we tell him not to. If he sees a squirrel he is as good as gone."

Taylor and Kate walked the edge of the playground in between moments of playing with Luke.

Kate knew better than to sit down. Luke would see his chance and go straight for the woods. She barely got him to take a break for water and a snack before he was back to climbing and going down slides.

"He is energetic." Taylor said.

Kate dropped her shoulders. "He never stops."

Taylor smiled. "I was when I was little too."

Kate eyed him. "Is that why you do baseball?"

Taylor nodded. "That and a few other sports over the years. My mom would make me run around the outside of the house three times before we ate dinner."

Kate chuckled. "You don't seem hyper now."

Taylor shrugged. "I still have a lot of energy but I don't stand on my head at the table anymore."

"There is hope for him then." Kate said and tilted her head toward Luke.

Luke saw them and waved. He liked Kate's friend. "Swing!"

Taylor understood the order and pushed him on the swings. "How high do you want to go?"

Luke screeched. "High!"

Kate remembered trying to flip over the top when she was younger. She furrowed her brows. She was still young. When had she turned into Dean? She got a message from Lacy an hour later saying that Luke's mom was on her way to pick them up. She called Dean to make sure he was going to be close enough to come pick them up. "Ten minutes Luke." She shouted.

Luke didn't like having to leave the park.

Taylor chased him up the stairs and stopped at a tunnel. He didn't think the tunnel was meant for people his size.

Luke slid into the tunnel and out the other side.

Taylor went to go back down the other way when Kate yelled for Luke to stop. He jumped down and saw Luke running away from the park.

Kate yelled at him to stop again and walked toward him.

"Do you want me to catch him?" Taylor asked.

Kate groaned. "If you do that he thinks its a game and will keep running."

Taylor did note that when they moved closer Luke stepped farther away.

Luke ran behind a large tree and giggled to himself.

Kate felt herself start to panic. "Luke! It isn't funny. We have to go."

Taylor saw Luke take off again. "The road!"

Kate startled. "What?"

Taylor picked up the pace. "The main road is on the other side of those trees."

"Ah crap." Kate said and tried to close the gap.

Taylor tried to convince Luke to come back but he wasn't having much luck either. The last thing he wanted was to run the kid in front of a vehicle.

Kate stepped over the hill and saw Luke getting closer to the road way. "Shit." She grabbed the bracelet on her wrist and yanked. It snapped and fell to the ground. "Luke! Stop!"

Luke stopped so quickly that he fell.

"Get him." Kate said, out of breath.

Taylor ran and grabbed him. He had a bit of difficulty carrying the child with his arms and legs flailing.

Kate was sitting on the ground holding her head. "Stop fighting." She said in a hoarse whisper.

Luke stopped and let Taylor carry him.

Taylor put Luke down beside Kate. He patted the ground in search of the bracelet. He found it and went to put it back on her arm. He saw the clasp was broken. When his hand touched her he heard a high pitched whine and what sounded like wind. He put the bracelet in Kate's hand and closed her fingers around it.

Kate was disoriented by the loud sound and felt her heartbeat behind her eyes. She felt sick to her stomach and the world around her spun.

Taylor dug around in the bag for anything that could help fix the bracelet. He looked at Kate for a moment. "Uh, I'm sorry." He said and pulled a few strands of her hair. He took the bracelet and threaded the strands through each side. He put it on her wrist and tied it. He stood up and grabbed Luke's hand to keep him from running again.

Kate took a few minutes to regain her ability to think straight. Her mind was in a dozen different places. She held up her wrist. "Is... is that my hair?"

Taylor gave her an apologetic look. "The clasp broke."

Kate laughed and put her head in her hands. "Dean will find that funny." She froze. He was going to be pissed that she took it off in the first place and she compelled a kid. She felt herself on the brink of melting.

Taylor touched her shoulder. "Maybe we should get him back before that wears off." He could tell that she was coming to grips with what happened. He put Luke on his back and walked next to Kate incase she got dizzy again.

Kate chewed her fingers and ran over the event in her head. She went over it again and again to try to see another solution.

Taylor was glad that Luke's mom was already at Lacy's house. "Is that your mom?"

Luke yelled. "Mommy!" and tried to launch himself off Taylor's back.

Taylor grabbed him. "Whoa there. Let me put you down first."

Luke ran to his mom once his feet hit the ground.

His mom scooped him up and strapped him into the car seat. "Thank you guys for taking him to the park." She saw Kate looking disoriented. "I hope he wasn't too much trouble."

Taylor looked at Kate and then to the kids' mom. "He was great. She just has a headache."

Luke waved from the backseat as the car pulled away.

Taylor could see Kate starting to unravel. "Don't break down on me."

The sound of the impala made Kate panic a bit more.

Dean ran inside to talk to Lacy briefly and came back out with Kate and Taylor's stuff. "You two ready? I have to pick something up real quick before the store closes." Once they were both in he booked it to the store. He hopped out and grabbed the part that he needed to keep baby in excellent shape. He paid for it and went to go back to the car.

Taylor got out. "I think maybe I should walk across the street and get some drinks."

Dean tilted his head. "Milkshakes? We could all walk over."

Taylor looked him in the eye. "Something happened and I think she wants to talk to you about it."

Dean pinched the bridge of his nose. He dug into his wallet and pulled out some cash. "Chocolate, large, extra whipped cream."

Taylor nodded. "I'll be right over there."

Dean opened the car door and ducked his head in.

Kate grimaced. "I think I should probably use one of those yellow cards."

Dean got in and shut the door. "What happened?"

Kate took a deep breath and looked out the back window. She wasn't sure she wanted Taylor out of the car.

"Kate. I'm listening." Dean said, gently.

Kate sighed. "We were at the park with Luke. He ran and I compelled him."

Dean schooled his features. "Why did you do that?"

Kate broke down and told him everything about ripping the bracelet off, the road and compelling Luke.

Dean got out and opened the back door. He tapped her arm and motioned for her to get out. He wrapped her in a hug and let her rest her head on his chest. "You can keep your card."

Kate stiffened.

Dean squeezed her. "He could have gotten ran over. You did what you had to do. I think that is one of those times that compelling him did less harm than not using the ability."

Kate felt the anxiety rush from her body.

Dean saw Taylor nervously waiting across the street and nodded for him to come back.

Taylor handed them each a shake.

Dean used his shirt to wipe some of the tears from Kate's eyes. "Where is the bracelet now?"

Kate held up her arm.

Dean squinted. "What the?"

Taylor blushed. "It was the closest thing to use to fix it."

Dean laughed. "That holds pretty good."

Taylor was glad that Dean hadn't gotten mad at Kate.

Kate took a drink of her shake. "We should probably get a link though. This tickles."

Dean opened his door. "Let's get home. I want to put this new part in before it gets dark."

Kate got in and almost dropped her shake.

"Hey, hey. If you spill that I am revoking your card." Dean said.

Kate rolled her eyes. "Don't make me compel you."

Dean reached back with his spoon and stole half of her whipped cream.

Kate swatted his arm away. "Jerk."

Taylor gave her some of his.

Kate guarded her cup.

She acted like she was going to fling a spoonful over the seat and Taylor choked a little.

Dean looked back at her. "I will seriously hurt you."

Kate grinned. "I wouldn't actually do it."

"No but you are accident prone enough to pretend you were going to do it and then accidently do it and I would accidently have to hurt you." Dean said and reversed the car.

Kate pulled her phone out and sent a text to Taylor. "Do you think there is a way to make fake food as a prank?"

Taylor read it and put his hand over his mouth. He nodded his head.

Kate smiled and sipped her shake. She let herself relax from the craziness and let her mind wander. When they pulled up to Bobby's house she thought she heard a whisper again. She went to get out and froze.

Dean looked at her. "What is it?"

"I forgot to tell you something." Kate said.

Dean shifted. "What is it?" he asked again.

Kate looked at Taylor and then Dean. "When I took the bracelet off there was this loud sound like air being forced through a small hole. It was high pitched but sounded almost like whispers."

Taylor swallowed a bite of his milkshake. "I heard it when I touched you."

Dean looked between them. "How'd you forget something like that?"

Kate blushed. "I was a little concerned with my own hide there for a bit."

Dean shook his head and opened the door. "See, I told you the cards were a good idea."

"Sam said they were a good idea." Kate corrected.

Taylor raised a brow. "Cards?"

Kate groaned. "A yellow card is for times like today when I am afraid of what they will say but need to tell them something. They can't overreact."

Taylor understood. "So you don't lie about it?"

Kate squinted her eyes. "Pretty much."

Taylor shrugged. "I guess it worked."

Kate smiled. "It is amazing how peaceful things can be when somebody doesn't jump to conclusions." She said jokingly.

Dean smacked the back of her head. "Stop that."

Kate giggled. "You just assumed I was talking about you."

Dean smirked. "Go inside so you can tell us about this whisper stuff." He stopped Taylor. "Thanks for having her back."

Taylor didn't reply but considered that high praise coming from Dean.

Dean told them to go inside and went to look for something to fix Kate's bracelet. He was impressed with the progress on the shop. He could pull baby into the shop to fix her instead of laying on the gravel. He went to the shelf and used the label system to find a thin piece of wire. He used pliers to cut off a piece and turned around to go back inside. He walked by baby and promptly spun back toward her "Son of a..." He started to say but realized the writing on the hood was just gravel dust. He stepped inside and found Kate and Taylor in Bobby's office. He popped the back of Kate's head again.

"What was that for?" Kate demanded.

Dean eyed her. "The car."

"What about the car?" Kate said and rubbed her head.

"The writing on my car, brat." Dean said.

Bobby looked at him. "She has been standing here in front of me."

Dean blinked. He stepped to the window and looked out at the car. "So you uh... didn't write that on my car?"

Kate looked outside. "No."

Dean's breath hitched. "Sorry 'bout the head." He turned on his heel and went back outside.

Kate, Taylor and Bobby followed him.

Kate recognized the symbols. "That is what was on your pages."

Taylor got a closer look. "How did that get there?"

Bobby rubbed his head and put his cap back on. "I see why you blamed her."

Kate shot him a look. "I would never touch baby's paint."

Dean gave her a nod of approval. "So who did this, how and why?"

They looked around for any trace of the person who had left the message.

"I walked from the car to the shop. I was only in there two minutes. That's why I thought you did it." Dean said.

"If one of us did it, wouldn't you just draw in the dust with your fingers?" Taylor asked.

Kate ran her finger down the door. "How did they do that?"

Bobby saw what they meant. "Huh, it is like they blew away all of the dust except the letters"

Dean scoffed. "Have you thought about pavement so my car doesn't get dusty in the first place?"

Bobby smacked his head. "Idjit."

Kate asked for a pen and Dean found one in the car. She copied the symbols onto her hand and let Dean wash the dirt away.

Bobby ushered them inside. "Let's talk."

Kate looked at her hand and tried to figure out what the shapes meant.

Taylor turned to Dean. "What can get into this place?"

Dean furrowed his brows. "That can also do that?"

They took one more look around the place and Dean put his car in the shop and closed the door. The car was unharmed but something touched baby and he wasn't keen on it.

Once inside, Kate transferred the symbols onto paper and washed her hands. She was tired of the hair itching her wrist and asked Dean to help her fix it.

Dean threaded the wire through both sides and clipped it. "How does that feel?"

Kate twisted her wrist. "It is okay for now."

Taylor brought the perimeter question to Bobby. "Unless someone snuck up, used a stencil and blew away dust in two minutes, is it safe to assume that that was supernatural?"

Bobby shrugged. "I would say so."

"What is your house not warded against?" Taylor asked.

Bobby sighed. "Well it wasn't a demon, vampire or werewolf. The whole perimeter has warding on top of warding."

Demon was Kate's logical guess. "Ghost?"

Dean sat down on the couch. "The ghost of who? Ghost don't just float around from place to place."

"Maybe you picked up one." Kate said.

Dean looked at the paper of symbols. "That speaks in this language that just so happens to be the same one that Taylor got?"

Kate groaned. "Why can't things be clear? If someone is trying to send us a message why not just show up and talk to us?"

"You heard something earlier, in the shop." Taylor said.

Kate furrowed her brows. "I thought I did."

Dean looked at her. "Why not share that with the class?"

Kate shrugged. "Do your ears ever randomly start ringing slightly?"

Dean nodded.

"It is like that. It was barely anything. Sometimes I hear wind or a ringing sound but it is so faint that it doesn't seem abnormal." Kate said.

Dean looked around the room. "Where do you hear stuff?"

Kate thought about it. "Mostly outside on the porch or in the shop. It hasn't happened a lot."

Dean pulled the curtain back and looked outside. "When you were at the park, what were the whispers saying?"

Kate rubbed her temples. "I don't know. I don't even know if it was whispers or just whooshing."

"When you were on the ground at the park and I was trying to fix the bracelet, I felt that pit in my stomach. It was scary and I was worried about Luke getting hit by a car but I wonder if it had to do with the bracelet. What if some of this has to do with the second time I felt like that?" Taylor said quickly.

Dean leaned forward. "Slow down Nancy Drew. What are you talking about?"

Taylor paced back and forth. "I got that feeling again but it wasn't about Kate. Missouri helped me manage it. We talked about someone else in town causing it. It could have been someone doing a séance or anything like that. At the park, I got that same feeling but assumed it was just anxiety from the situation. Now I would like to know if it was more than anxiety and was in response to what ever was causing the whispers."

Kate's eyes got wide. "It went away when you put my bracelet back on. What if the bracelet is preventing something? What if whatever it is tried to contact you and that was the surge you felt after I got the bracelet?"

Taylor stopped pacing. "What if the whispers are the same thing as the symbols?"

Kate covered her mouth. "We could find out!"

Dean stood up. "Freeze." He walked into Bobby's office. "Would you mind coming in here before Pinky and the Brain try taking over the world?"

Bobby chuckled. He motioned for every one to go to the kitchen. "Which one of them is Pinky?"

Kate smacked Dean's arm. "Don't you dare answer that."

Dean held his hands up.

Kate grabbed her note book and the sheets of symbols.

Taylor filled Bobby in on what they had discussed.

"So, I could take the bracelet off and try to figure out what this thing is." Kate said.

Bobby sat forward. "The thing, as you call it, may not be a good thing."

Kate as getting frustrated. "It could be. Maybe it just keys the symbols into the car next time."

Dean shot her a look. "Don't give it ideas."

Taylor tried to offer a solution. "I could try to figure it out."

"No." Dean said firmly.

Taylor wasn't expecting that reaction.

"I wouldn't send either one of you into a dark cave with no clue what kind of creature is in there and I'm not going to send you charging at this... this thing." Dean said.

"Missouri can help. Sam could help. He can make sure that I don't get sucked in." Kate whined.

Bobby could see the storm clouds brewing. "Everyone just slow down. Let me call Missouri."

Kate could feel herself spiraling in excitement. This was a possible lead and it was so close.

Dean touched her arm. "Hey, kiddo, back to earth."

Kate startled and looked at him. "What?"

"We are going to do this the safe way." He said.

Kate slumped. "Charging in is so much faster."

Dean smirked. "Where does that land you, every single time?"

Kate shot him a look. "That is rude."

Dean squeezed her hand. "I just asked the question. I didn't give you the answer."

Taylor watched them interact and wished any of his family members cared at least a fraction as much.

Dean whistled and snapped his fingers.

Taylor snapped out of his daze.

"That goes for you too." Dean said.

Taylor hadn't heard him. "I'm sorry. I was not listening."

Dean put his hands on the table. "I know you want to help but no body is going to rush into this. We work as a team."

Taylor nodded. "Yes, of course."

Dean eyed him for a moment and then dropped it.

Kate felt like the bracelet was made out of bugs. She wanted it off.

Dean saw her messing with it. "Do I need to duct tape that thing to you?"

Kate rolled her eyes. "No. It itches."

Dean took her arm and looked at her wrist. "Is it like the other one that burns you?"

Kate twisted her wrist. "No. I don't think so. I really want to take it off so it may just be nerves."

"It stays on. If it is going to be a temptation I can tape it." He offered.

Kate shook her head. "It is okay."

Dean motioned for her to show him her necklace. "None of these are acting up?" He asked.

Kate looked down at the pendants. "Only one of them is reactive."

Dean shrugged. "Well you never know."

Taylor felt the pit returning. "What is that one for again?"

Kate held it in her hand. "Missouri gave it to me a few years ago. When I first got my visions, it kind of anchored me. It would get really hot and burn me or shock people if I was overloaded."

Taylor pressed on his stomach.

Dean looked at him. "Is it back?"

Taylor sighed. "I think so."

"Well that is encouraging." Dean said sarcastically. He looked out the back window. The wind was moving the tops of the trees. Either a storm was coming in or they had bigger problems.

"Bobby." He called.

Bobby came back in the room with Missouri on the phone. "What is it?" He looked outside. "What the hell?"

Taylor moved closer to Kate. "Do you hear anything?"

Kate shook her head. "Do you think the wind is from the thing?"

Taylor shrugged.

The wind died down which made everyone relax.

Taylor helped Bobby make dinner.

Kate was staring out the window of the living room fiddling with the wire on her bracelet.

Dean swatted her. "Stop messing with the wire."

Kate squeaked. "Dean!" she hissed.

"I know you are chomping at the bits but do you understand why you can't take that thing off right now?" Dean asked.

Kate whined. "Yes. I'm not stupid."

Dean sighed. "Kate, you are doing really well. Please do not go off plan right now."

Kate rolled her eyes. "Stop nagging me."

Dean turned her toward him. "I can nag you as much as I want. How many times have I had to talk to you about going rogue?"

Kate looked down. "A couple but I have kept the bracelet on. I've done good."

Dean tilted her chin up. "I'm not nagging you because I don't trust you. I'm trying to keep your head in the right place. Each time something like this happens you get frustrated and anxious. You have clear signs that lead up to that decision that sends you down a rabbit hole. You have better control over your abilities and impulses with that bracelet so I think you are more level headed this time around but would I be doing my job if I didn't keep an eye on you?"

Kate sighed and wrapped her arms around him. "I'm sorry I snapped."

"Just don't make me have to kick your butt." Dean said lightly.

Kate looked up at him and raised her brow. "You can't."

Dean chuckled. "Why is that?"

Kate grinned. "Taylor is here."

Dean ruffled her hair. "I'll kick his butt too."

Kate scoffed. "Oh and what about Bobby?"

Dean rolled his eyes. "Yeah him too."

Kate giggled. "I'm going to tell him you said that." She darted into the kitchen. "Hey, Bobby."

Dean grabbed her.

Kate giggled and tried to wiggle away from him. "Dean said he could kick your butt too."

Bobby turned around. "He could try. I'd just shoot him."

Dean stood up straight. "You'd just jump straight to murder?" He asked.

Bobby shook his head. "Not if I shoot you in the foot."

Dean put his hands up in defense. "Let's just not shoot each other."

Taylor enjoyed the banter.

Bobby tossed Dean a potato. "Start slicing and stop running your mouth."

Dean caught the hot potato and tossed it from hand to hand. He sliced the potatoes and put them on the table. "I am starving."

Bobby finished the rest of the food. "Eat then."

They bantered and talked through dinner until Taylor was due to go home. They went outside and Dean unlocked the impala.

Kate was standing in front of the car when she felt something on her arm. She looked at her wrist and shrieked. "Guys!"

Bobby, Taylor and Dean all turned to her. "What is it?"

Kate held her arm away from her body and flipped her wrist over.

Dean squinted his eyes and moved closer. "What the.."

The wire looked as though it was moving slowly.

"Did you pull on it?" Dean asked.

Kate shook her head. "No." She felt the heat building up in the wire and shook her arm.

Dean took her other arm and pulled her back toward the house. "Kate, please tell me this is you rebelling against the keep the bracelet on speech."

Kate shook her head. "It isn't me."

Taylor ducked his head and covered his ears.

"Inside, now." Bobby said.

Dean pulled Kate through the door and grabbed the wrist with the bracelet on it.

Bobby held the door for Taylor. "Son, get in here."

Taylor had stopped and was looking at the house.

Bobby ran back out and grabbed his arm. His eyes landed on what Taylor was looking at. He pulled Taylor into the house as the door slammed and caught Taylor's foot.

Taylor yelped and pulled it in.

Bobby locked the door and put a chair in front of it.

Kate whimpered. "What is going on?"

Dean looked at the bracelet. The wire had shifted and if he didn't know any better the wire looked to be melting. "Duct tape it is."

Bobby saw the wind pick up again. "Basement."

Once downstairs, Dean grabbed a roll of tape and put a piece around Kate's arm.

Taylor looked down at his leg for the first time.

Bobby gave him a once over. "Did the door get you hard?"

Taylor shook his head. "My shoe got most of the impact."

Bobby rubbed his head.

Dean looked over at Taylor. "Why the hell did you stop out there?"

Taylor blinked rapidly. "I.."

Bobby handed Taylor a water bottle. "We were wondering what kind of thing could leave that message on your car."

Dean nodded. "Yeah?"

"Now we are wondering what kind of thing could leave a message on my house."

Kate jumped. "What do you mean?"

"Roof to dirt, covered in those letters." Bobby said.

"It was the same message that was on the car." Taylor added.

"How do you know for sure?" Dean asked.

Taylor held up his hand. "Because it is on my hand now too."
