Kate had weird dreams all night. In one, John had not reacted well to Sam going to college and Sam and Dean didn't talk to each other for a few years. In another, Lacy didn't exist. There was a car wreck in one and John sold his soul. She woke up in a cold sweat and very confused. She grabbed her journal and looked through it to remind herself that she was awake and none of the dreams were true. She checked the time and decided to go back to bed.
Dean was the first one to wake up and venture out into the bunker. They didn't have a coffee pot but he knew how to make it with a pot on the stove. He started a pot and searched the kitchen. He heard shuffling behind him and a sniffle. He turned around. "Kate? What is wrong?"
Kate started sobbing and slumped to the floor.
Dean picked her up and sat her on the counter. "Hey, none of that. What is wrong?"
Kate wrapped her arms around his neck and cried into his shirt.
Dean rubbed her back and tried to calm her down but she was hysterical.
John woke up and stopped at the edge of the kitchen. "What is wrong with her?"
Kate let go of Dean and went to wrap her arms around John.
John was caught off guard but sat in a chair and let her lean into him. He shifted her so she was sitting on one of his legs and smoothed her hair down. He hummed softly and let her cry herself out.
Dean watched them. He recognized the tune as one John used to sing to him. He couldn't remember the last time John had just let one of them cry like that. He wasn't a brute but maybe boys just cried less.
John got Kate somewhat calm. "Did you have a dream?"
Kate nodded and started crying again. "Dean." She mumbled.
John motioned for Dean to swap places with him. "He's right here. I'm going to move so I can make sure that coffee doesn't burn."
Kate let go of him and fell into Dean's lap. She felt his arms wrap around her and reminded herself that he was okay and so was John.
Dean made eye contact with John. "Can you grab her blanket?"
John nodded and returned with the soft, throw blanket. He put it over her shoulders and rubbed her back. "I'm going to get food started."
Dean thanked him. He spoke softly to Kate. "You can talk to me. I'm right here. You're okay."
Kate couldn't talk though. She was heart broken and terrified.
Dean took the cup of coffee John handed him.
Bobby shuffled into the room and gave Dean a confused look.
John shook his head and whispered. "She woke up crying and hasn't stopped."
Bobby frowned.
Dean felt Kate's sobbing start to die down. He was also losing some of the blood flow in his left leg. "I'm going to carry you to your room. I'll stay in there with you."
Kate nodded weakly.
Dean stood up and shook the blood back into his leg. He situated her so he wouldn't drop her and took her into her room. He sat down on the bed and let her rest her head on his leg. He rubbed the back of her head and let her rest. He thought she had fallen asleep as she had gotten still and quiet. He was startled a little when she spoke.
"You went to hell." Kate said.
Dean brushed hair from her eyes. "What do you mean?"
"John sold his soul. He went to hell then you sold yours and went to hell and Sammy never talked to us anymore and Jess got killed by the yellow eyed demon." Kate spit out.
Dean shifted her so she was sitting up. "Kate, it was just a dream."
Kate started crying again. "I don't think it was."
"Kate, look at me. No one here has been to hell." Dean said.
Kate slumped. "Yet."
"Well I am not going to sell my soul. So there." Dean said.
Kate sighed. "John didn't take Sam's going to college well and told him to never come back."
Dean was trying to make sense of what she was saying. "That didn't happen though. You helped them make peace with it and we talked to Sam yesterday."
Kate sniffled. "It felt real."
Dean rubbed her back. He let her tell him about all she had seen. "Kate, what if.. what if you were seeing things that could or could have happened without you?"
Kate looked at him with tired, puffy eyes. "What?"
"Maybe dad would have sold his soul to save me, if he hadn't saw what happened to Brian. Maybe Sam would have been shut away from us had dad shunned him. I wouldn't have been with Lacy this long had you not played match maker." Dean said.
Kate let out a shaky breath. He had a point. "Please, never sell your soul."
Dean squeezed her. "I promise."
Kate relaxed. She didn't know why she had the visions but knowing she may have the power to change them made her feel better.
Dean wiped her face and nudged her the other way so she was resting her head on her pillow. "You look tired."
Kate rubbed her eyes. "I had a lot of dreams last night."
Dean wiped some extra tears away. "You should go back to sleep. There is nothing to be afraid of. I can get more coffee and come sit with you if you want."
Kate shook her head. "I'm okay. I promise."
Dean bent and kissed the side of her head. "If you have another dream, I want to know. Don't stay in here and suffer."
Kate nodded and closed her eyes.
Dean covered her with a blanket and took off his shirt. He wiped her face again and gave her the shirt to hold on to.
John had stepped into the hallway to check on Kate and saw Dean walk out of her room, shirtless.
Dean saw John and sighed. "She is going back to sleep."
John raised an eyebrow. "What happened to your shirt?"
"Uh, it was wet from her crying." Dean said.
John smirked. "Doesn't have anything to do with her huffing your clothes when she is sad?"
Dean rolled his eyes and got a clean shirt. "You would have given her your shirt in a heartbeat."
John shrugged. "So, what was that?"
Dean motioned for him to walk back to the kitchen. "She had visions all night. She saw you sell your soul and go to hell. She saw me do the same thing. She saw you throw Sam out and tell him not to come back, about college."
John hissed. "Damn, no wonder she was distraught."
"She said Sam's girlfriend burnt like mom did." Dean added.
"So, was it just bad dreams?"
Dean poured more coffee into his cup. "I think she was seeing how things could have been had she not shown up."
John considered it.
"I told her that you and I wouldn't sell our souls. We saw what happened with Brian and how badly that messed her up. Now, had I not seen that, maybe I would have done it to save Sam." Dean said.
"I didn't throw Sam out." John said.
"Why?" Dean asked.
John thought about it. "She talked some sense into me and I was able to talk to Sam about it."
"Exactly." Dean said. He wasn't sure if the visions really were about things she had changed but it had made her feel better.
Taylor got up and shuffled into the kitchen. He looked around. "Where is Kate?"
Dean sighed. "She had some pretty nasty visions last night and just went back to sleep.
Taylor frowned. "What were they about?"
John spoke up. "About us. Things like Dean and me going to hell."
"Wow. I hope she is okay." Taylor said.
Dean went to check on her and reported that she was sound asleep.
"We need to look through this place and figure out what we want to take back with us. We have two days but this place is massive." Bobby said.
They split up to document and pack things into boxes.
"I found a book on changelings." Taylor said.
Bobby pointed to the box. He had decided to only take books that he truly needed.
Once that box was packed to the brim, Taylor carried it through the bunker and put it in the back seat of the impala. He didn't know how they were going to take so much stuff with them. Baby wasn't that big. On his way back to Bobby he walked by the weapons room. He poked his head in. "Do you need anything?"
"No." Dean said as he reassembled a gun.
Taylor shrugged and went to get a drink. He saw the Nephilian file sitting on the counter and opened it. The first page outlined a project or case. The men of letters were investigating the validity of humans with certain characteristics. He gathered enough information to see that they thought this project was like designing horses. For ages, people had carefully selected horses with preferred attributes to breed. Each new generation was a little bit better. Horses with defects wouldn't get to carry on their blood line. Taylor thought the example was crude and really weird considering the file was on humans.
The project was based on genes but the research was before its time. Sure, people in the 1950s knew about genetics, but did people in the 1850s? It wasn't quite a project as much as it was research and noticing trends. He pulled out an older feeling piece of paper and froze. It was written in the same language that showed up on his arm. He grabbed the file and ran into the library. "I found something."
Bobby groaned as he got off the floor. "What?"
"They were researching a group of people. This paper is different. It says that Nephilim are abominations and must be eradicated. That is harsh. However, there was speculation that there were ways to create fake Nephilim but no one had survived the attempts." Taylor said.
Bobby motioned for him to continue.
"If a human was exposed to... I'm not sure what this word is.. they would die. However, if they were exposed to tiny amounts over a long period of time, they would become resistant to it." Taylor said. "I'm paraphrasing. Kate is better at reading this stuff."
Taylor read silently. "Wait, I think this is saying that it takes longer than the human life span."
"So how would that work?" Bobby asked.
Taylor gasped. "If what they are exposed to changes them, maybe their kids are resistant too." His mind split in different directions, seeking out answers. "What if this word means grace? What if Isaiah giving the babies his grace meant literally giving them his grace? Not grace like permission or mercy."
"If that was the case, that would mean your bloodlines would be resistant to this.. grace." Bobby said.
"I guess it makes sense. So did he take in Ada and the babies so he could use them as an experiment?"
Taylor's theory felt possible. "What else does it say?" Bobby asked.
Taylor frowned. "The way this is worded is hard to follow." He went back to the file and tried to find more information.
"Why would these people want to make fake Nephilim?" Bobby brought up a good point.
"Maybe so they could have powers but not get killed." Taylor felt his head start to hurt. "We are so close and this just raises more questions." He saw another file number. "I'm going to find this box. Okay?"
Bobby nodded for him to go. "I'll be looking through books."
Taylor found the appropriate shelf and row but couldn't find the right box. He moved other boxes out of the way. Maybe someone moved it. He gave up looking for the box and went back to the library. "It looks like someone moved it."
Dean wrapped two knives and put them in another box. "Some of this stuff looks witchy."
John looked at the box Dean had pulled out. "I've used hex bags before. We need to find out what they are beforehand."
Dean didn't like anything witchy. "I'm going to check on Katie. She will need to eat."
John excused him and looked through the different types of ammo the room had.
Dean grabbed some water and opened Kate's door. He sat on her bed and gently shook her.
Kate opened her eyes and got sad again.
Dean shifted her so she could rest her head on him. "Drink some water. You need to eat. How are you feeling?"
Kate sniffled. "I'm okay. It was scary."
"It isn't real. We aren't going to hell." Dean said.
Kate took the water and sipped it. "I know. I'm sorry I got upset."
"Hey, you saw some rough stuff. It is okay to get upset. Taylor has that Nephilim file if you want to look at it." Dean said.
Kate nodded slowly. She let Dean stand up and took his hand.
"There you go. You can go to the library. I'll get you a sandwich."
Bobby gave Kate a worried look when she walked into the library. "How are you feeling?"
Kate shrugged. "I'm tired."
Taylor sat down beside her. "Do you want to see the stuff we found?"
Kate nodded.
"This book is about Nephilim but there isn't much. Then, this file is about Nephilim and Nephilian. There is a reference to another box but it isn't where it is supposed to be." Taylor explained.
Kate looked at the pages. "Poor Nephilim. They didn't ask to be created." She was quiet as she poured over the new information. "We.. we are Nephilian?"
Taylor shrugged. "I don't know."
Kate mumbled to herself. "People died over this."
Taylor frowned. "I saw that. Not everyone reacted well to what ever they gave them. No one, as of 1958, had ever seen a live Nephilian."
"Great. If we are Nephilian, are we going to be killed like Nephilim were?" Kate asked.
Dean sat her plate down. "Don't say that." He had wrapped his head around her being a psychic and having abilities from exposure but he couldn't see either of them being actual supernatural creatures. They weren't creatures. They were kids. If they were Nephilian, why had yellow eyes tried to get to Kate? What did this have to do with them both being related to his family?

At Stanford, Sam buttoned the last button of his shirt. He brushed his teeth and slipped his wallet into his pocket. "Good to go."
Brady drove them to a house on the outside of campus. "It is a small party."
Sam could hear the music before they turned onto the street. "Uh, that isn't small."
Brady parked his car. "Oh this is nothing. Wait until rush week."
Sam felt his palms start to sweat. He didn't even want to got to the party but Brady insisted. He turned down the solo cup that was handed to him when he walked through the door. He had no plans of starting out freshman year with a underaged drinking charge. He found a corner that was not as busy. There were books along the wall and one caught his eye.
Brady was social. The party scene was his comfort zone. He saw Sam sitting by himself and felt bad for the guy. He spotted a friend of his. "Hey, my roommate over there hasn't quite gotten his sea legs yet. Would you mind talking to him?"
Sam looked up as Brady walked over. He gave him a smile and put the book away.
"Sam, this is Jessica. Jessica, this is Sam." He winked and walked away.
Sam fought the blush that was creeping up his neck. "Hi, I'm Sam."
Jessica smiled. "Yes, Brady just said that."
"Oh, uh. I-" Sam stammered.
"You can call me Jess. Brady says you are new here." Jess said.
Sam felt his tongue stick to the roof of his mouth. "Yes."
"I'm going outside, if you want to join me." Jess said.
Sam nodded.
Jess thought his shyness was endearing. She found a bench outside in a garden area. "So, you aren't from around here?"
Sam shook his head. "No, um. Kansas. I moved from South Dakota though."
Jess grinned. "I'm from here. My family has gone to Stanford for a few generations."
"Wow. I'm the first in my family to do the college thing." Sam said.
"Well, you've come to the right place. Steer clear of the fraternities and you'll be golden." Jess said with a smile.
Sam let Jess do most of the talking. The way the afternoon sun fell across her face made her look like a painting. He tried to keep up with what she was saying but his head was in the clouds.

"Is Missouri coming here?" Kate asked, excitedly.
"Yes. I told her we could still visit her but she wanted to see this place." John said.
Kate loved Missouri. She could also help sort through information. Kate rolled the word 'Nephilian' over in her head. She prayed to her Grigori but he didn't answer. She wasn't sure she liked the name. If they were grace enhanced humans, they'd need a cooler name.
Taylor went to his room to grab his phone. He had seventeen messages and 3 missed calls. Two were from Nate and the others were from David. Nate was updating him on what people were saying. He was happy that nearly everyone in the school was on his side. David's messages were far less positive. David was angry and each message got a little more colorful. The last message was a threat. He wanted to let David try to snap his neck. Even before he had abilities, he could have taken David in a fight. He couldn't react. David wanted him to react. He deleted the messages and walked to the library. "Nate said that pretty much everyone that was in the lunch room made a statement that Luis started it. They threatened to stage a walk out if the school board tries to suspend me."
Bobby sighed. "Well, it is good that they are on your side. We wont know anything until Tuesday."
"I was protecting Kate. If I get kicked out of school, it was still worth it." Taylor said.
Dean agreed with Taylor.
Kate yawned and flipped a page in a book.
"You should take a nap before Missouri gets here." Dean said.
Kate shook her head. "I'm okay. I slept in."
"You slept in after being up all night." Dean added.
"I don't want to nap."
"Too bad, eat some lunch and then go lay down." Dean said with a hint of lightness to his voice. "Missouri will want to work with you on some of the psychic stuff. You should be well rested for that."
Kate frowned. She didn't want to admit to being afraid to have bad dreams again.
John studied her. "If you are worried about visions, I have a bunch of papers I need to read through. I don't mind sitting by you for a while."
Kate smiled. "That may help."
Dean rolled his eyes. "You'd have smacked me and told me to man up."
John grabbed a few folders and put them in a box. "She isn't a man, Dean."
Truth be told, Dean enjoyed seeing John have those tender moments. Had his mom not been murdered, Dean imagined John would have been that type of father more often. He had very few memories from before the fire but John used to sing to him before bed and let him ride on his shoulders. Azazel took more than just Mary. He took John too.
Kate got something small to eat and then went to her room. She really was exhausted. "You'll wake me up right?"
John nodded. He pulled a chair over and propped his feet on the end of her bed. He sat his coffee on the floor and started reading through the files. When he looked up, she was already asleep, curled under her blanket and holding onto Dean's shirt.
Bobby gave Dean a look. "Don't be so surprised. She has you doing stuff like that for her."
Dean scoffed. "I am different though."
Bobby couldn't fault his logic. John wasn't known for being comforting. He had his moments but the hard shell that surrounded him was rarely softened. He assumed that Kate sobbing in his arms had something to do with it. She had seen him sell his soul and go to hell and it had broken her. John put up the wall as a coping mechanism and Kate was skilled at breaking it.
Taylor was distracted with his thoughts. David angered him more than Luis. At least, with Luis, the bullying came from an outside source. With David, it felt more personal. Sure, they were like strangers. David was nice to him when they were little but over the years, David pushed him away. Judging by the messages, Craig had been feeding David lies for a long time. It wasn't like David was truly torn up over the deaths. He had moved out a long time ago. Maybe it was easier to make Taylor the bad guy than admit that the family had issues. He wondered if his grandmother had talked to David. He felt anger wash over him. If David had said hurtful things to her, he would flip.
"Earth to Taylor." Dean said.
Taylor blinked. "Oh, sorry. I was thinking."
"I'm going to finish cleaning those weapons and test fire them if you want to go with me." Dean said.
"Yes!" Taylor said with a grin. "Will Kate wake up if we do that?"
Dean shrugged. "If Bobby can hear the first shot, he will let us know. I'd assume, if they built an indoor range, they'd have the sense to sound proof it."
Bobby held up his phone. "If you get a message, fun time is over." He sat back in one of the chairs and cataloged the books he was taking. He saw a filing cabinet and walked over to it. He opened it and felt a little silly. They had a card catalog. That would have saved them some time but pulling each book out was a bit like opening gifts. He and John had talked about the possibility of letting a few select people know about the place but also decided to wait. They had stumbled upon something that could breed disaster if it fell into the wrong hands. They also needed to pull back on how many people knew about the kids. Caleb was a trusted family friend and had reaped the benefits of Kate's abilities. There was already speculation about Kate being a witch, and although it was false, not all hunters had a whole lot of sense.
John found a paper that was signed by his father. It seemed surreal. For most of his life, Henry Winchester was just the man that abandoned him. He never had an explanation and resented him. Seeing the state of the bunker, frozen in time, in the exact year that Henry went missing, made him think that it was possible that something had happened to him.
Kate entered a vision in her sleep. She was sitting on the swing at Hannah's house, letting the breeze tangle her hair. The sun was warm and she could hear kids playing in the neighbor's yard. Mandy's house was the most normal house she had been in. Hannah brought two cups of Kool-aid to the swing and sat beside her. As Kate sipped her drink she noticed that she no longer heard other kids. The breeze died down and the warmth of the sun went away. "What's going on?"
"We need to talk." Hannah said.
Kate moved off the swing. "You aren't Hannah."
Hannah simply nodded. "No, but I don't have much time."
Kate saw a flash of blue in Hannah's eyes. "Who are you?"
"Aphrim."
"Aphrim? Are you my Grigori?" Kate asked.
"I am."
Kate sat down on the ground. "Can you... not...be Hannah? It is creeping me out."
Aprhim considered it. "My true form is too much for you to handle."
Kate studied Aphrim. "Okay, are you a girl or guy?"
Aprhim was thrown off. "I'm an angel."
Kate tapped her fingers on her legs. "Can you be a guy for now?"
Aphrim changed forms. "Better?"
Kate nodded. "Thanks."
Aprhim didn't understand why the change was needed but obliged. "As I said, I don't have much time."
Kate motioned for him to talk.
"I'm pleased that you found a safe haven. You will need it." Aphrim said.
Kate frowned. "Why will I need it?"
"When you activated the demon blade, you released a wave of energy. That wave could be seen by celestial beings as well as demons." Aphrim explained. "Now, that wave was small and I do not think that any others saw it or saw enough of it to know what it was. You must be careful."
"Will they kill me?" Kate asked.
"Some may. Others will want to use you." Aphrim said.
"What am I?" Kate asked.
"You are what you know as a Nephilian." Aphrim said.
"So how did I become that?"
Aphrim was aware that he needed to hurry. "You have a purpose that I cannot explain right now. The writing that you read was correct. You are not Nephilim. Grace is what powers angels."
"So Isaiah gave it to the babies?" Kate asked.
"He gave them very little. His grace was divided to last several centuries. I do not know all there is to know. I only know that you will become stronger. The last box contains the last vials of his grace. You must not open the box until you are given a sign. If you do it too soon it will kill you and everyone around you." Aphrim said.
Kate was stunned. "What now? What about when I am supposed to get my full powers?"
Aphrim faded. "I must go."
Kate woke up and opened her eyes.
John noticed her stirring. "Hey, did you have another dream?"
Kate sat up. "Uh, a vision."
John put his file down. "Are you okay?"
Kate rubbed her face. "My Girgori's name is Aphrim. What kind of name is that for an angel? It sounds like an allergy medication."
John couldn't help but crack a smile. She had talked to an angel and was focused on how terrible the name was. "What did this, Aprhim say?"
"Isaiah did give his grace to the babies. He split is grace into different vials to dose the family with over the years. The final two vials are in the box at Bobby's house. We can't open it until we get a sign or it will kill us all." Kate said.
John sat forward. "What else?"
"When we made the demon blade, it released energy. We have to be careful because the energy wave could make us a target." Kate said.
John watched her. "You are very calm."
Kate stretched. "I'll take cryptic conversations with an angel over watching you guys sell your souls any day."
Dean didn't want to use all the ammo, although there was plenty. He gave Taylor a gun and let him target practice. "This is why we clean ours after every hunt. If you take care of them, they can sit on a shelf for 40 years and still work like a charm."
"I can't believe no one has been here in 40 years." Taylor said.
"That we know of." Dean corrected.
Bobby heard a knock on the door and opened it. "Missouri." He said as he hugged her back.
"Show me this mysterious place." Missouri said, warmly.
Bobby walked with her down the steps.
Missouri was astonished. "Oh my." The architecture was beautiful but she could feel the warding. She felt an overwhelming sense of safety.
"I keep pinching myself so I know it is real." Bobby said.
Missouri smiled. "I would too. There are rooms here too?"
Bobby nodded. "Quite a few. With enough food, you could live down here for months."
Missouri looked around. "Who pays the electricity for the place?"
Bobby hadn't thought about that. "I can call the city Monday. I don't particularly want to get stuck with a 40 year bill."
Missouri could feel something magical about the place. She just couldn't pinpoint what it was.

Sam found Jess easy to talk to, after he found his ability to talk. She was sweet and confident. Her family was wealthy but she didn't act like it. She was smart and they had a lot of the same interests. She was beautiful to boot.
"So, are you going to invite me to coffee or not?" Jess asked.
Sam stammered. "Yes. Of course. Tomorrow?"
Jess smiled. "If you insist. Judging by the noise inside, I give it ten minutes before the cops show up."
Sam blinked rapidly.
"I'm going to walk back to my dorm." Jess said.
Sam thought that was a good idea. He didn't want anything on his record. "I'll let Brady know I'm headed out. I'll walk you to your dorm."
Jess was surprised. "No, it is okay."
Sam shook his head. "You have put up with all of my questions. The least I could do would be to walk you home."
Jess smiled to herself. He really was a sweet guy. Brady was nice too but it was surface level. When she spoke, Sam listened. He really payed attention.
Sam updated Brady and went back outside. "You'll have to show me the way."
Jess chuckled. "Should I be the one walking you home?"
Sam blushed. "I can find my way back."
They waked and talked. Jess had a ton of information about the history of the school and the area in general.
"What would your family have thought if you didn't want to come here?" Sam asked.
Jess rolled her eyes. "I didn't have much of a choice."
Sam smirked. "My family didn't exactly want me to even go to college, let alone out here."
Jess liked that he was a little mysterious. "Well I am glad you came anyway. This walk is much more boring alone."
Sam was blissful. "I'm learning so much history."
"So when you take me out for coffee, you will have to tell me something that I don't know." Jess said with a smile.
Sam wasn't sure what he could tell her. "I'll think about it."
"This is my stop." Jess said.
Sam stopped at the bottom of the steps. "It was nice meeting you."
Jess walked up two steps and turned. "It was nice meeting you too." She gave him a very quick peck on the cheek. "You are quite the gentleman, Sam."
Sam nearly squeaked. He grinned awkwardly.
Jess scrunched her nose. "See you tomorrow."
Sam nodded dumbly. He couldn't find words.
Jess backed away and went into her building.
Sam regained his composure. "See you tomorrow." He mumbled to himself. He was not the ladies man that Dean was. Speaking of Dean, he needed to gloat.
"Hey, Sammy." Dean said as he answered the phone.
"I went to a party." Sam said.
Dean put the weapon down and walked out of the range. "You did, did you?"
"Yeah. I didn't drink though."
Dean scoffed.
"Anyway, I met a girl." Sam said.
Dean grinned. "Did you.."
"No! It isn't like that. God, Dean." Sam said.
Dean rolled his eyes. "You are a dweeb."
"Hey, I'm out going to parties and meeting women. Where are you?" Sam teased.
Dean grumbled. "No, you know what? You can't rub that in my face. I found the freaking bat cave."
Sam grinned. "Whatever, man."
Dean cleared his throat. "Joking aside, you are packing... right?"
Sam groaned. "Shut up." He had had the safe sex talk with Dean more times than he cared. "She isn't that type of girl. I'm not you."
Dean acted offended but laughed. "If you were me, you'd be having an entirely different college experience."
"Yeah, I'd be in jail and have an std." Sam said.
"I'm proud of you, Sammy." Dean said, lightly.
Sam felt light and free. "Yeah, you'd better be."
Dean got off the phone with Sam and heard Missouri's voice.
"Get over here and give me a hug." Missouri said as Dean appeared in the library.
Dean let her hug him. "Kate was really excited about you coming."
"Where is she?" Missouri asked.
"Supposed to be sleeping." Dean said.
John walked in with Kate at his side. "Not anymore."
Kate grinned and ran to hug Missouri.
Missouri wrapped her in a warm hug. "You are glowing."
"Yeah, I just woke up from a nap." Kate said.
Missouri raised an eyebrow. "No, you are glowing like a lightbulb."
Taylor joined the party. "Whoa, you are."
Kate looked at John and then back to Missouri. "My Grigori came to me in a dream."
Dean looked at John.
"I didn't know anything was going on until she woke up." John said.
"His name is Aphrim." Kate said.
Dean furrowed his brows. "Isn't that a med for allergies?"
John gave Missouri a side hug. "Those two are worse than Dean and Sam."
Kate giggled. "That is what I said too!"
Taylor wanted to know what Aphrim said. "So?"
Kate sat down. "We are Nephilian."
Missouri felt a little faint. "Nephilian?"
"Yeah, not a Nephilim. Our family has been exposed to angelic grace for centuries and we built up a tolerance." Kate said.
Missouri looked concerned.
"What is it?" Bobby asked, crossing the room to stand beside her.
Missouri was trying to make sense of the new information. "Somebody stopped by my house the other day asking how to kill one."
