"Somebody asked how to kill a Nephlian?" John asked.
"I told him I didn't know what that was. I have heard of a Nephilim but to my knowledge, they are a myth or died out thousands of years ago." Missouri said.
"Who was it?" Dean asked.
"I've never met him before. He said he was a hunter." Missouri answered.
Kate and Taylor traded looks. They had just found out what they were and somebody was already trying to kill them. "How could he know about Nephilian?"
Missouri didn't know. "It was strange."
John was quiet as the others talked. He got an idea and cleared his throat. "Feed him false information."
Everyone looked at him.
"We can make up information. Then, if something happens, the kids will be okay." John said.
Kate instantly started brainstorming. "I can piece together an old document and make it look real."
Dean was still hung up on the fear that someone was after them. "Even if they do not know how to kill a Nephilian, they are still hunting them. That means we have two children who are being hunted. Besides, we do not know that you are not able to die by normal means."
"If we give them false information, it will be easy to see who the information gets to." Taylor said. "If someone tries to hurt us with the made up method, it will be clear that they are hunting us as Nephilian instead of any other reason."
Kate was already looking through books to get an idea of how to forge an ancient paper on Nephilian. "Demons react to holy water. If we claim that Nephilian react to something, we obviously wont react. So, if someone is trying to make sure we are Nephilian, we will pass the test and maybe it wont get to the fake killing part."
"You are not a damn experiment. We are not going to gamble like that." Dean said.
Kate looked into his eyes. "We are though. We are lab rats. Aph told me that much."
John wasn't happy with the situation either. "Missouri, can you get me his name?"
Missouri dug around in her purse. "Jacob Henderson."
John nor Bobby had ever heard the name. "I'll ask Ellen." Bobby said.
"I know that word could have gotten around about the kids but how could he possibly know the word Nephilian." John asked.
Missouri put her hand on Taylor's shoulder. "I don't know."
Dean was wracking his brain. "You two can't heal in front of people. You can't show that you are stronger or different in anyway. We don't know where this guy is or if he has people watching you. I guess, we don't even know if he is just a guy."
Missouri furrowed her brows. "He wasn't supernatural when he was in my house."
"We can keep sand or something with us. If we get injured in public, we can sprinkle a little into the wound. We can't heal unless the wound is clear." Kate said.
Dean was a little worried with how well Kate was taking the news. "We have this place too. No one can know about it. Cars need to be in the garage."
Missouri remembered her car. "Mine is out front."
Bobby said he'd move it and held out his hand for her keys.
Taylor felt like things were too connected. Was Luis a test? Was David's verbal attack related to the situation? If someone was going to sell him out, it would be David.
Missouri could feel the emotions in the room and it was disorienting. She was getting a strong sense of anger and wasn't sure who it was coming from.
Dean went to let Bobby into the garage and cracked the door. Before he let Bobby in, he checked him with holy water and silver.
"Good thinking." Bobby said. He walked back to the car and drove it through the doors.
"We can't get a break." Dean said.
Bobby put a companionable hand on Dean's shoulder. "No, we can't."
Kate abandoned the paper for a few minutes. She went to the armory in search of something.
"What are you doing in here?" Dean asked.
Kate waved him off. "Looking for something."
Dean stepped into the room. "Kate, what are you looking for?"
Kate was getting frustrated. "Give me a minute." She saw what she was looking for on a metal shelf. She put her toes on the second shelf and lifted herself so she could reach it. She didn't reach it before she got pulled back, though.
"Sound carries in this place. Unless you want me to light you up before I ask again, I'd stop." Dean said.
Kate groaned. "You don't have to act like John anymore."
John, in true John Winchester fashion, walked into the room as she made the comment.
Kate grinned sheepishly. "Hi."
Dean chuckled to himself. He had been the victim of his father's ability to appear at horrible times.
"Oh, don't let me interrupt your conversation." John said, leaning against a table and crossing his arms.
Dean looked at Kate to dare her to repeat herself. When she didn't he asked her again. "What are you looking for?"
Kate pointed to a box. "That."
Dean pulled the box down. "Why were you climbing to get it?"
Kate shrugged. "I don't need help with every little thing."
The comment wasn't meant to be smug. "After you fell getting the frame down, you were told to ask for help."
Kate frowned. "Thanks for getting this down."
The box had what Dean would call 'witchy stuff.'
Kate went to open the lid but was stopped by Dean again. "None of this will hurt me."
"You don't know that." Dean was tired of trying to make that point.
Kate sighed. "These are inactive hex bags. There are no hexes on them. There should be some other things in here so that we can do a spell to figure out where this Henderson guy is."
John crossed one foot over the other. "When did you decide on that?"
Kate had forgotten he was standing there. "When I was thinking about a fake weapon, I thought about who he was. If we could find out where he is, we would know if he is tracking us."
"Do you know the spell to do that?" John asked.
Kate chewed on her thumbnail. "Kind of."
"Kind of is not a lot to go off of for you to march in here and go straight to that box." John said.
Kate looked at Dean. "Well, it is a starting place."
"This place has too many things we don't know about for you to just grab things." Dean said.
Kate felt frustrated again. "Okay, I get it. This box is okay though. So, can we just go to the library and work on the location spell?"
Dean was losing patience but also felt some sort of embarrassment. John expected him to handle things on the 'home front' and Kat acted like she'd never heard of the term respect. "No."
Kate got a look at both of their faces. "Come on. The sooner we find the guy, the sooner we can solve this."
"Do not climb to get things. These shelves are old. Do not get things by yourself. Just because it looks fine, doesn't mean it is. Lose the attitude." Dean said.
Kate slumped. "Okay."
John stopped her before she walked out. "If anyone needs to repeat those rules to you, you will get it from them and then again from me."
Kate spoke before her brain caught up with her. "Yeah, and what if it is you who repeats the rules?"
Dean sighed and grabbed the box. He walked out of the room and down the hallway.
Kate backed away from John. "I was kidding."
John studied her. "Why the attitude?"
"I didn't mean to." Kate said.
John pointed to the cleared table. He lifted her onto it when she walked over. "No, I want to know why you have a chip on your shoulder right now."
Kate considered the question. "It has been a weird day. I didn't mean to take it out on you guys. Those visions were really scary and I think part of me is angry at you and Dean. I know you didn't actually make those choices but it felt so real. It scares me because it could come true. Then, this Jacob guy wants to kill us. It is confusing and frustrating. Anything good that happens is followed by something bad."
"If Dean or I sold our souls, you'd have every right to be mad. We will figure out the situation with you being Nephilian. No one is going to hurt you on our watch. You and Taylor are both strong. Right now, we have to play it cool. That means you can't read people in a room full of kids." John said with a smirk.
"Noted."
John saw her shoulders slump. "Do you think you can reign in the attitude?"
Kate bit the inside of her cheek. "Yes."
"Alright. To answer your question, if I have to repeat the rules, I'll roll two into one." John said.
Kate frowned. "I liked it better when we were friends."
John ruffled her hair. "If you need someone to help you mess with Dean, I'm there. If you want a free pass on sass, you're out of luck."
Kate froze. "Are you going to..."
"No, not this time." John said.
Kate grinned. "So this is a free pass on sass."
John raised a brow. "Unless you want to lose the free pass."
Kate hugged him. "No thank you." She hopped off the table and walked with him to the library.
Dean looked up when they walked in. Kate looked calm and he hadn't heard anything. Did she compel him? He looked at John.
John gave a slight shake of his head.
Dean sat back in his chair. "One of us is going to have to get a couple groceries."
"Can I go?" Taylor asked.
"We don't know what is out there." Bobby said.
"It would be a good idea to see. When we leave Monday, we don't want to get blindsided." Taylor said.
"I'll go. Dean, you can be on standby." John said.
"Bring back pie." Dean said.
John grabbed his keys and motioned for Taylor to follow him. "Bring a weapon just incase."
Taylor pulled his knife out. "Always do."
Kate wanted to go too but figured Taylor needed a moment. Besides, although she had gotten a free pass, she was sure that John's tolerance with her cheek would be running quite thin.
Missouri patted Kate's hand. "You and I can work on this other stuff."
Kate felt a flare of excitement. She loved learning new things and Missouri was always amazed.
It was already dark when Taylor and John went outside. Time was disorienting inside the bunker. "We will make the trip quick." John said.
Taylor asked what they needed. "I will write that down. Do you think we will be back here more often?"
John kept his eyes on the road. "I don't know. I think this is a good place to lay low. If push comes to shove, I think any of us could wind up here again."
"I can ask my nana for some canned goods. That way, no matter what, whoever is here will have some food." Taylor said.
"We can pick up some canned goods." John said.
"She really likes to cook." Taylor countered.
John had gathered that. "Oh, if she doesn't mind. We can get some shelf stable food at the store too." John thought about Taylor's attitude toward food. "How often did you go hungry before?"
Taylor wasn't expecting the question. "Not that often."
"You think ten steps ahead. You thought to bring food that we could cook at a motel." John added.
"Well, my mom worked a lot. I cooked some for myself but she'd forget to get food for the house or my brothers would take it with them. My nana would make stuff that I could keep in my room." Taylor said.
"You aren't going to go hungry anymore." John said.
Taylor's phone rang and he glanced at the name. He ended the call without answering it.
John didn't want to encourage Taylor's anxiety with food but thought that prep work may meet the need and make him feel useful. "If you want to talk to your grandmother about canned goods, that is fine by me. We don't plan on sharing the place with many people but it is a good idea to have a few things on hand if something goes wrong."
Taylor's phone buzzed four times but he ignored it.
"Are you going to get that?" John asked.
Taylor shook his head. "Just people from school being nosey."
John knew by the vein pulsing on the side of Taylor's head that the messages angered him. He filed the information away for later. He parked the truck and opened his door. "Let's get this done. It is getting late."
Taylor helped gather the few groceries they needed for the remainder of their stay. His phone rang again and he ended the call. The call was followed by more messages. He saw John watching him and swallowed hard. "I wonder if Kate could do stage make up."
John tilted his head. "What for?"
"Well, we have to blend in. If we get a cut, we can do the sand thing. What if we get a bruise? If Luis had hit me back, I would have healed the bruise too quickly." Taylor said.
John caught on. "I bet she could. I can show you a thing or two."
"You have done fake bruises?" Taylor asked.
John couldn't help but smile. "No. The face paint used for camouflage does look bruise like if you don't wipe it all off." John thought that Taylor was a bit like him in some aspects. He was quiet for long periods of time but obviously deep in thought. He studied people and considered options before speaking.
"Speaking of camouflage. I can get a couple deer when we get back home." Taylor said. He paused. "I may need help getting them to the house though."
John chuckled. "I bet Bobby would be more than happy to go with you."
Taylor liked that idea. He turned down another call.
"You must be popular today." John commented.
Taylor held his breath. "Yeah. The bunker probably doesn't have good signal and I'm just getting a bunch of messages at once."
John knew the service was fine. "Is it all from the same person?"
Taylor shrugged. "I don't feel like talking to anyone so if it isn't Nate or my nana I just ignore it."
"Have any of your brothers messaged you?" John asked.
Taylor knew John was suspicious. "I guess none of the older ones are actually my brothers anymore. It isn't like they acted like it anyway."
John paid for the groceries and pushed the cart to his truck. He helped Taylor put things in the back and secured a tarp over the bed. He dropped his line of questioning but made a note of Taylor's behavior.
Taylor put his phone on silent to avoid any more suspicion.
Dean opened the door when they got back to the bunker. He did the usual checks on both of them and helped lug the groceries to the kitchen. "If the tunnel doesn't have warding, we should ward it."
John agreed. "We can do that before we leave. We could do some perimeter warding too."
Kate was working with Missouri on reading objects.
Missouri knew that Kate's abilities were far beyond her own but she could still guide her. "Take a break. Not all objects can be read. Old objects and objects that have a history are easier."
Kate could see the reason for that. A knife used in the civil war had more of a story than a butter knife. "I can use this on cursed objects too, right?"
Missouri eyed her. "Yes but you run the risk of cursing yourself. With practice, you could narrow down the type of cursed used without handling the object."
Kate smiled. "I've already been given the cursed object lecture."
Taylor sent a message to Marie and Nate telling them to call or message Kate if they needed anything. He told them people kept messaging him and he was turning off his phone. He didn't need John questioning the amount of messages he was getting. David was an issue that Taylor could handle.
Kate pulled clean sheets out of the dryer and picked a room for Missouri. She was making a list of things they'd need next time they stayed there. New pillows were a necessity.
John pulled Dean to the side. "Do you know who is messaging Taylor?"
Dean shrugged. "I don't know. He hasn't said anything."
"While we were out, he got several calls and messages and ignored them. I think someone is bugging him." John said.
"It could be David." Dean guessed.
"I asked if any of his brothers had contacted him and he avoided the question."
Dean sighed heavily. "I'll talk to him."
Kate helped Bobby with the pizzas. She pulled them out of the oven and placed them on the counter. "What does everyone want for drinks?" She filled cups and carried them to the table.
Missouri thanked her. "Is there any way I can help?"
"Nope. Just sit back and relax."
Missouri enjoyed watching them. She was always amazed by how well they worked together. There was no such thing as 'too many cooks in the kitchen' with them. Kate and Taylor buzzed around Bobby and completed tasks without being told to. Bobby didn't know it but he was a natural. He didn't want to be a father because he was afraid he'd be like his own father. Instead, he had the boys and Kate.
Kate filled glasses to Bobby's specifications. She smelled of the liquor she poured into them.
Bobby tapped the back of her head. "Don't get any ideas."
Kate scrunched her nose. "I tasted of the other stuff. It is nasty." She carried the glasses to the table and put them in front of the appropriate plates. "There is a cabinet with alcohol. Some of the stuff is really old. Well, I guess it all is. Nothing was made after 1958."
Missouri had a feeling that John and Bobby would both be taking some of it home. "I never acquired the taste for the heavy stuff."
John sat back in his chair and lifted the glass to his mouth. "I could drink paint thinner at this point but this... this is good."
"It is a different bottle." Kate said as she watched him take a sip.
Dean grabbed his own glass. "Are you going through each bottle to figure out which gets us drunk faster?"
Kate grinned. "I don't think you can get drunk anymore."
Dean raised an eyebrow.
Kate walked over and put an elbow on John's shoulder. She motioned with her hand. "See, look how happy he is. This is useful information. Drunk people are annoying. I don't want that. I would just like to know which magical happy juice works best."
John chuckled. "What do you plan on doing with that information?"
Kate scoffed. "Can't I make a note of what makes you happy without you assuming I have other motives?"
"No." Dean and John said at the same time.
Kate took her seat. "Do you see what I have to put up with?"
Missouri smiled and patted Kate's hand. "You just tell me and I'll set them straight."
Bobby found a seat as well. "Where is Taylor?"
Kate pushed her chair back. "I'll go see."
Dean stopped her. "No, sit. I will incase he is in the bathroom." That wasn't his only reason for volunteering to find Taylor. He checked in Taylor's room but he wasn't there. He checked the bathroom and still, no Taylor. The armory was empty and so was the infirmary. He opened the inside garage door and saw Taylor sitting on the hood of one of the cars, talking on the phone.
Taylor saw him and quickly ended the conversation. "Is food done?"
"Yes. Why are you in here?" Dean asked.
"Just made a phone call." Taylor said.
"Right. You know, you can do that in your room." Dean said.
"Yeah, of course. I just.. I just called my nana and didn't want anyone around. You know, it is one thing to show emotion to her but I don't want an audience." Taylor said.
"Has David messaged?" Dean asked.
Taylor realized that he couldn't lie. "Yes. A few times but I just ignore him."
Dean walked with him back to the table.
Taylor took his seat and avoided John's eyes. He took a bite of his pizza and chewed slowly.
Dinner was on the quiet side. There was tension in the air.
Kate finished her food and offered to clear dishes. She wasn't sure what was going on with Taylor but she didn't want to get caught in the undertow.
Dean joined her to help her wash the dishes. "Do you know anything about what Taylor is upset about?"
Kate shrugged. "No. I promise."
"Okay. Well, let me know if you figure it out." Dean said.
"I'll wash. You can dry and put away." Kate said.
Dean grabbed a dish towel. "Yes ma'am." He said, lightly.
Missouri also knew something was wrong with Taylor but she couldn't read him. Was he blocking her or could she not read him due to abilities?
Taylor couldn't take the tension. "I'm going to shower. My head kind of hurts."
Bobby excused him and cleared the rest of the dishes.
With Taylor out of the room, John asked Bobby and Missouri if they had any intel. "If his brother is harassing him, we can handle it."
"If he is, Taylor may want to handle it. He went that route with Luis at first too." Bobby said.
"That ended well." John quipped.
Kate finished the dishes and went to change into her pajamas and brush her teeth. She caught Taylor coming out of the bathroom. "Hey, is everything okay?"
Taylor felt his temper flare. "Yes. God, everyone keeps asking me."
Kate followed him to his room. "Taylor, Missouri and I can both feel that something is off. Well, everybody can because things are tense."
"Fine. My bitch of a brother has sent some messages that are offensive. Yeah, I'm angry over it." Taylor said.
"So why hide that?" Kate asked.
"He is my brother. If there is a chance of mending our relationship and getting him to see that I'm not the bad guy, having an adult step in would destroy that chance." Taylor explained.
"You could still tell them, though. They wouldn't step in unless it got dangerous." Kate said.
Taylor knew they'd ask to see the messages and he had already deleted them. Besides, he had no interest in mending anything. He had been the peacekeeper his entire life and David was trying to pick up where Craig left off. "It isn't anything bad. It is just annoying."
Kate tried to ask more questions but saw that Taylor wasn't going to budge. "Well, they want to know what is wrong. I understand that you want to handle it but you have to give them something."
"Tell them that I want to try to talk to David brother to brother." Taylor said. He walked forward, making it clear he wanted to be alone in the room.
Kate frowned. "No matter what is going on, you can tell me. You have given me that much and it goes both ways."
Taylor waved her off and shut his door.
Kate put her toiletries in the bathroom and went to find an adult. If she gave them information, they'd stop bugging him.
"Hey, kiddo. What's up?" Dean asked.
Kate chewed her thumb nail. "I talked to Taylor. David has messaged him some annoying stuff."
Dean sighed.
"He wants to handle it brother to brother. He wants to get David to understand they are on the same side and feels like David will drift farther away if an adult steps in. When you and Sam fight, it works best if you work it out together." Kate said.
Dean felt like part of the story was missing but could tell by Kate's face that she wasn't the one hiding things. "Okay, I'll let dad know. Thank you."
Kate wrapped her arms around his waist. "Thanks for not being a bad brother."
Dean wasn't sure if that was a compliment. "You are welcome?"
Kate let go of him. "I think Taylor is going to bed. I'll brush my teeth and go to bed too."
"Goodnight. Come get me if you have any visions." Dean said.
Kate yawned. "Thanks." She went into the library to tell everyone else goodnight. "See you in the morning."
"Good night, Katie." Missouri said as she wrapped her in a warm hug.
Dean poured another drink and joined the other adults. "She talked to him."
"And?" John said.
"She said that his brother has messaged him and he is wanting to work it out brother to brother in an attempt to mend the relationship." Dean said before he sipped his drink.
"Bullshit." John said.
Bobby snorted. "What he said."
"If you keep on him he is going to hide more." Missouri said. "He is a teenager. Give him some space."
"Why is he hiding it in the first place?" Dean asked. "If it was that simple, he'd have no reason to hide it."
"We will back off. He may let his guard down and talk to someone." John said. He was thinking the same thing that Dean was.
Missouri patted the table. "Well, boys. I am calling it a night."
They said their goodnights and stayed up a little while to talk. They needed to figure out who Jacob Henderson was and what he knew about Nephilian.
"No one has ever seen a live Nephilian or even a Nephilim and we have two of them." Dean said.
"We have a demon knife too." John said.
Bobby sat forward. "It seems like their Grigori had a hand in showing us this place and that knife. Does it feel like we are gearing up for a war?"
John nodded. "It sure does."
"Against who though?" Dean asked. He didn't know who but the length that Aprhim went through to show them the bunker worried him. What could they possibly need to fight that required a place like that?
### ###
Kate had more visions during the night. They were similar but had different endings. None of it made sense. The night before, the visions were horrific but they made sense. She wasn't afraid, just confused. She wrote a few notes in her journal and went back to sleep.
A few hours later, everyone was up and back to searching the bunker for the last items they wanted to take with them.
Missouri found some stuff she could use and packed it in her car. "This place really is wonderful." She had clients to see the next day and said she'd have to leave before the night. Until then, she could help out.
Kate looked tired when she walked into the kitchen. "More dreams?" Dean asked.
Kate nodded.
"Why didn't you come get me?" Dean asked.
"They weren't like the others. I was too tired. I wrote some down though." She said and put her journal on the table.
Dean looked through the notes. "I can't say I understand any of this."
Kate rubbed her eyes. "Oh, weird. I was really tired so I was probably just writing down nonsense."
Dean put his hand on her back. "Go sit down. I'll get you some cereal."
Kate shuffled over and found a chair. She rested her head on the table and closed her eyes.
"Poor thing. You must have had a lot of visions to wear you out like this." Missouri said.
Kate yawned again. "Just a couple."
Missouri smoothed the back of her hair. "You should rest today. I can help you untangle that web of notes."
Dean placed a bowl in front of Kate and a small mug to the side.
Kate picked her head up. "What is this?"
"Coffee flavored milk." Dean said.
Kate took a sip. "This isn't half bad."
"I figured you needed a pick me up but I'm not going to be the one to fuel you with an entire cup."
"Thanks, Dean." Kate said as she took a bite of her cereal.
Taylor woke up but didn't leave his room right away. He hadn't slept well and he was angry at David. He had to cool it before he knocked a hole in the wall. He took the battery out of his phone and tossed it in his duffle. If his phone was off, David couldn't provoke him.
"Well, it is about time you woke up." Dean said with a smirk.
Taylor bit back a remark. "Yeah. It is the weekend so I just slept in."
The rest of the day went smoothly. Kate perked up and was able to work with Missouri. The visions still didn't mean anything to her but she had a few things to try next time they appeared.
Missouri left that afternoon and reminded the adults to give Taylor a chance. She had a bad feeling but the more they pushed, the more he'd pull away. If he pulled away too much, the outcome would be far worse.
John spent the day offering Taylor olive branches. He didn't ask about the phone or David. He just spent time with him.
Taylor had cooled off throughout the day. If he ignored David, he was giving him no power. "I wish we didn't have to leave tomorrow."
"I know. You do have school Tuesday though." John said.
"Yeah, unless they kick me out." Taylor said.
"We will cross that bridge when we get there." John said.
Taylor was still bitter. He did want to know if Luis was okay but part of him hoped the recovery would be long. Maybe Luis would avoid bullying anyone at all. Middle school was hard enough without some jerk tormenting you.
Kate got a call from Ellie and answered it. "Hi, Ells. What?"
The phone was handed to Nate and he spoke to Kate. "I need to talk to Taylor."
"Why? Is everything okay? Why didn't you call him?" Kate asked.
Nate sounded frantic. "Kate, please just let me talk to him."
"Hold on." Kate said. She found Taylor in the armory with John. "Hey, Taylor. Can you help me with something?"
"Yeah." Taylor said as he followed her into the hallway.
She handed him the phone and whispered. "It is Nate."
Taylor grimaced and took the phone. He mouthed the word thanks and hurried down the hall.
John stepped into the hallway. "What was that?"
Kate shrugged. "Nate."
John wanted to know details but reminded himself to pull back. "Kate, I need you to do me a favor."
"Yes?"
"If you find out that anything is happening, I need you to tell one of us. I know you want to be a good friend but it is important that you do not help him hide anything." John said.
Kate nodded. "I haven't gotten any information. Nate sounded stressed but I don't know why. I hope it isn't school related."
"Do I need to make it a direct order?"
Kate giggled. "I just assume everything you say is a direct order."
John chuckled. "That would be a good practice."
Taylor found a spot without listening ears and spoke to Nate. "Are you sure?"
"Yes I am sure!" Nate said.
Taylor wanted to hit the wall or throw the table but he pushed the anger down. "I'll be back in Sioux Falls tomorrow."
"I can call the cops." Nate offered.
"No. I'll handle it."
"How?" Nate asked.
Taylor paced around the room. "I don't know yet. I'll call you later." He hung up the phone and sat on the top of one of the desks. Keep it together Taylor. Deep breaths.
Dean walked into the room and saw Taylor. "You okay?"
Taylor nodded. "Yes. Just talked to Nate." He walked out of the room. "Going to give Kate her phone back."
Dean walked over to the desk Taylor had been standing at. He nudged the edge of it with his finger tips. There was a hand shaped dent on the edge of the desk top and the wood was splintered as if some one took a crowbar and tried to pry the wood away from the legs of the desk. He gently knocked on the wooden top. What ever Taylor had been talking about had made him angry enough to snap an oak top with one hand. He was impressed with the strength but it also worried him.
Bobby entered the room and saw Dean inspecting the desk. "What are you doing?"
Dean motioned for Bobby to walk over. "How much strength would it take to crush this thing with your hands?"
Bobby saw the hand print. "I'd say more than a human would have. Taylor?"
Dean nodded. "He spoke to Nate."
Bobby prodded the wood.
"If he could do that to a desk, what could he do to someone's neck?"
