Author's note. Ellie(samanddeangirl) the lack of hugs is definitely a guy thing. I added in a scene about it.

"Good luck with what?" Dean asked.

Kate sighed. "You."

Dean propped his back against the wall. "Must be pretty bad if a reaper is warning you."

"It was really bad." Kate said. Moving hurt and she was pretty sure she wouldn't sit for a month.

"Do you understand why? Do you feel like we were unfair?" Dean asked.

"I understand and no you weren't unfair. This just sucks."

Dean let her lay down. He put a sheet over her and pulled strands of hair from her cheeks. "Yeah, it does. Bobby and the rest of them will be back soon. You should rest for a little while. I'll wake you up when food is here."

Kate sniffled. She was embarrassed. "They all know."

Dean scoffed. "They do but no one judges you. I can't speak for April but for Bobby and Caleb, this is just another day."

Kate rolled onto her side. "It isn't a normal day."

"No, it isn't. They won't bug you about it though. Well, Caleb might." Dean said.

Kate gave him a small smile.

Dean leaned down and kissed the side of her head. "Get some rest."

Caleb picked up snacks and put them into a cart. Grocery shopping was always a little weird for him. He typically didn't have enough money to truly shop. He turned down an aisle and caught Andy out of the corner of his eye. "Kid."

Andy jumped. "Hi."

"Where is your mom?" Caleb asked.

Andy looked around. "Uh..."

"Walk with me, we will find her." Caleb sighed.

Andy walked beside Caleb. He hadn't meant to walk away from his mom but there were toys that he had never seen before.

April saw Andy with Caleb and handed Ian to Bobby. "Andrew Ethan, you scared me."

Andy frowned. "Sorry."

"Where did you go?" April asked.

"Toys." Andy looked down at his feet.

April put her hands on both of his arms. "With everything that has happened, you know you have to stay close."

Andy nodded.

April hugged him to her. She felt something in his jacket pocket. "What is in your pocket?"

Andy panicked. "Nothing mama, it is okay."

April pulled a toy from his pocket. "Were you trying to steal this? Were you trying to compel me?"

Andy put his hands behind his back. "I'm sorry."

April spun him around and swatted him three times. It was the first time she had ever done it. "You are going to put the toy back. You do not steal things. You do not compel me and you do not run off."

Andy nodded. "Yes, mama." He sniffled and apologized.

Caleb put a hand on his head. "I'll walk back over there with him."

April thanked him. She wanted to break. She hated swatting him. She held her hands out for Ian and put him into the cart.

Bobby noticed April's demeanor. "It isn't as easy as it looks."

April sighed. "No, it isn't."

Caleb helped Andy find where he got the toy from. "You going to make it?"

Andy placed the small toy back on the shelf. "I think so. She has never done that before."

"Got the idea from Dean?" Caleb asked.

Andy looked down at his feet. "Yeah."

"You'll be fine. Just listen to your mom." Caleb said. He ruffled his hair and started to walk back to the front of the store.

Andy stopped walking. "What is going to happen to us?"

Caleb sent Bobby a message to let him know they'd be a minute. "What do you mean?"

"I don't have powers anymore. The bad guy is gone." Andy said.

"Well, those are good things." Caleb said.

Andy looked around him. "Can you keep a secret?"

"It depends on what it is." Caleb said.

"I'm scared to go home." Andy said.

Caleb found the furniture section and sat down on one of the sofas. "Why are you scared?"

"My mom stresses. She says she is tired but I know she is worried. We don't have money for stuff. Her tummy hasn't been hungry since we got here. Mine either." Andy said.

Caleb sighed. "Was she hungry a lot before?"

"She said she wasn't but sometimes she would get sleepy when she didn't eat breakfast with me." Andy said. "Will you guys forget about us?"

Caleb rubbed his face. "No."

"I like Dean and Kate and Taylor and the kittens. I don't want to go home. I don't have kittens at home." Andy said.

Caleb got a message from Bobby. "I think the adults need to talk."

Andy frowned. "If I can stay I promise I'll listen more. I won't run off or anything."

Caleb slowly stood up. "That is a big promise for a kid. You are still learning. You running off wouldn't make anyone not want you to stay. Your mom dusted your seat for you. That is what is supposed to happen when you mess up. Kid's don't get sent away for things like that."

Andy felt a little better. He worried about his mom.

Bobby shoved groceries into the bed of the truck and turned it on. He saw Caleb walking with Andy and told April.

Andy hugged April before getting into the truck. "I love you, mama."

April's heart twisted. "I love you too."

Taylor capped and uncapped the pen that was in his hand. He was antsy and couldn't stay still. Castiel had gotten information from David and his head was reeling.

John looked up from his journal. "Taylor."

Taylor stopped. "Yes?"

"Put the pen down."

Taylor placed the pen on the table. "I'm sorry. I have a lot going through my head."

"Speak. Don't snap the pen in half." John said.

Taylor caught the slight upturn of John's mouth. "Oh. I.. I need something to do."

John slid him his pocket knife.

"Am I supposed to stab something?" Taylor asked.

John blew air through his nose. "Flip it open. Now, close it."

Taylor caught on. "How is this different than the pen?"

"That is a good knife. It isn't loud." John said.

Dean joined them. "What did I miss?"

Taylor groaned.

"Still pissy about getting stuck with him?" Dean teased.

Taylor flicked the knife open. "No."

"We came to an understanding." John said.

Taylor nodded in agreement. "We were discussing what David knew."

"So what did he know?"

"Azazel wanted to get to Andy and Sam. We foiled his plan. David has always had issues but after Craig died, he developed more issues. He was approached by the demon that possessed him. David let him in. He enjoyed it." Taylor pulled a face. "The deal was to get Azazel and Craig back. Azael had a following but they decreased in number once he was dead. Then, the demon that used David tried to carry out orders but I guess demons have a self-preservation instinct."

"Well at least somebody does." Dean grumbled.

"Ms. Jody, the officer, is helping us out." Taylor said.

Dean looked at John. "We are okay with that?"

"Bobby is." John said.

"He is going to talk to her. I don't know what David said to her but she seems to be on my side." Taylor said.

Bobby pulled John's truck into the garage. He unloaded what he could carry and dropped it in the kitchen.

Dean opened one of the bags. "What is all of this?"

"Thanksgiving." Bobby said. "Just celebrating on a different day."

Taylor helped unpack bags. "Barbecue ribs are Thanksgiving?"

"For us it is. Warm up some of this would ya." Bobby said.

Andy helped unload the truck too. He picked up two heavy bags and staggered into the hallway.

"Whoa, do you need some help?" Dean asked.

"I got it." Andy assured him.

Dean chuckled at Andy's stumbling. He too didn't accept help after he had decided how many bags he could carry. It was part of being a man.

Caleb dropped the last of the bags on the kitchen floor. He opened his arms wide and looked at Taylor.

Taylor furrowed his brows.

"Come on." Caleb said.

Taylor eyed him suspiciously.

Caleb motioned for him to get closer. He wrapped his arms around Taylor's arms and lifted him off the floor.

Taylor couldn't raise his arms as they were pinned to his sides. He wheezed. "Why?"

"I have come to the conclusion that the reason Dean has a permanent stick up his ass is because John didn't hug him enough as a kid." Caleb said. He squeezed Taylor one more time before dropping him.

Taylor rolled his shoulders and shook out his arms.

Dean smacked Caleb across the back of his head. "I do not have a stick up my ass."

Caleb motioned to Dean's face. "He says Sam has a bitch face, just look at that face." He poked the side of Dean's cheek.

Dean chopped him in the ribs with the side of his hand and kicked the back of his leg.

Caleb turned around like he was going to hug Dean. He dodged another hit and discretely pulled something from his pocket and handed it to Taylor.

Taylor walked out of the kitchen to see what Caleb had given him. He snorted. "Really?"

Caleb shrugged. "No idea what you are talking about."

Taylor opened the individual packet of ibuprofen and swallowed both pills. It was more of a running joke than a necessity but he appreciated it.

"Is Kate sleeping?" Caleb asked.

Dean stepped into the hallway. "Yes. Stop trying to drug them."

Caleb held up the pack of ibuprofen. "You can't tell me what to do."

Dean chuckled. "Dumbass."

Caleb knocked on Kate's door.

Kate expected Dean and blushed deeply.

Caleb stepped into the room and looked around. He slid the pack under her pillow and placed a glass of water on her desk. He put a finger to his mouth and slowly backed out of the room.

Kate giggled when she pulled the packet from under her pillow. Caleb's brand of teasing was amusing.

Caleb nudged Dean. "Follow me."

"If you try to hug me I'm going to stab you." Dean said.

"I was going to talk to you but now you've challenged me." Caleb said.

Dean shoved him. "What do you want to talk about."

Caleb looked around him. "The kid."

"Which one?"

"Andy." Caleb said.

Dean sighed. "I'm listening."

"Little dude stopped me in the store. He is scared to go home. I don't think they always had food. He said his mom hasn't been hungry since they got here. He also said something about her getting sleepy." Caleb said. "I think he thinks that he is going to get thrown out now that he doesn't have abilities."

"Shit." Dean said. "She takes great care of them but the house is run down."

"Single mom with two young kids." Caleb said.

"On the run, because her ex was abusive," Dean said.

"I don't know what the plan is but the kid is blaming himself."

Dean sighed again. "Okay. I will bring it up with Bobby and dad."

Caleb clapped him on the back and walked away.

The house that Missouri found was in Kansas. He had plans to go back to Sioux Falls. Either way, they'd make sure no one starved.

Kate put on one of Dean's shirts he had given her and slipped on a pair of leggings. She washed her face and then went to the kitchen. "What is this?"

"Thanksgiving." Taylor said.

Kate smiled. "Pumpkin pie."

Dean poked her side.

She turned and hugged him again.

Dean patted her back. "Taylor?"

Taylor shook his head. "The forced hug from Caleb will hold me over for a couple years."

Kate raised an eyebrow.

"Like being squeezed by a bear." Taylor said.

Kate grinned. "I'm sorry I missed it."

Ian toddled around and found Bobby. "Up."

Bobby handed him an apple slice. "You gotta walk kid."

Ian threw the apple down. "Up."

Bobby sighed and picked him up.

"Taking orders from a baby?" Kate asked.

Bobby and Ian looked at her. "I don't even know why he wants me to pick him up."

Caleb poked Ian's stomach. "Don't worry Ian, he is flattered."

Bobby blushed slightly.

Dean pulled Kate to the side. "When you skip meals and get sleepy, what is that?"

"How many meals? If you skip a lot it can be normal starvation." Kate said.

"I don't know. Andy said April got sleepy if she didn't eat." Dean said.

Kate nodded. "She is diabetic."

"How do you know that?"

"She gets shakey sometimes. She has peanut butter and orange juice in her room." Kate said.

"What does that mean?" Dean asked.

"Orange juice to raise blood sugar, peanut butter to keep it up." Kate said. "I could be wrong."

"Is that.. is that an embarrassing thing? If I ask her about it is it going to upset her?"

Kate smiled. "It isn't a lady problem if that is what you are asking."

Dean rolled his eyes. "No, I'm not an idiot. I know that. Just girls can be different about talking about stuff."

"She should be fine." Kate said.

The kitchen was crowded but flowed naturally. Chatter was loud but warm.

Bobby was trying to hold Ian back from his plate but the kid was set on grabbing a rib. "Will he choke on this?"

April smiled. "No, do you want me to take him?"

Bobby shrugged.

John chuckled. "Dean, you used to growl when eating certain things too."

Kate giggled. "He still does."

Dean nudged her with his foot. "Hush."

Caleb groaned as he got down in the floor.

"Are you sitting with me?" Andy asked.

"Yeah, the adult table is lame." Caleb said.

Kate knelt on the floor and put her plate on a crate. "The adults at the table are lame."

Andy grinned. He liked Caleb and Kate. He liked everybody.

Sam looked around their apartment. He could still smell the faint trace of sulfur and some of the sigils were visible. The living room had obvious signs of a struggle and a vase had been broken. He sat down on the sofa and covered his face with his hands. As hard as he tried, and as far away as he ran, he still ended up fighting demons again. He brought Jess into it and he hated himself for it.

Jess sat down beside him. She put a pillow in her lap and pulled his shoulder. She let him lay his head down and ran her fingers through his hair. "What is on your mind?"

"Nothing. I'm just tired." Sam said.

Jess twirled his hair around her fingers. She loved when he did that to her. "Wasn't your main complaint about your brother and dad that they had anger issues and bottled everything up? You couldn't talk about feelings as a kid."

Sam looked up at her. "That was when I was fifteen and mad about not being able to go to a math competition."

Jess leaned down and kissed his forehead. "A lot happened. I know you didn't want me to see any of it. It isn't nothing. It is just you and me here."

Sam closed his eyes as she massaged the top of his head. Being comforted was something he wasn't used to. Dean did his best but both agreed that laying his head in his lap would be awkward. No, with Jess it was great. "I fought to get out of the hunting life. I moved here. I am getting an education. Demons still got to me. They got to you. That was one of my biggest fears."

"You can still stay out of that life. Kate cured you or whatever." Jess said.

Sam picked his head up and lazily motioned toward the door. "We have demon sigils on the walls, Jess."

"So we can adjust things so that isn't visible." Jess said.

"I will know it is there, though. I will know that you saw things that I hate that you saw. You got wrapped up in Kate's mess and jerked around by an angel. I can't undo that." Sam said softly.

Jess shifted. "I don't want you to undo it. If you erase my memory there will be hell to pay."

Sam smiled. "You made your point clear."

"Good. It changes things a little but not in a bad way. I would rather know than get caught off guard. Meeting your family and knowing your story helps me understand you. Then, when you leave suddenly, I will know it isn't because one of the kids has the flu." Jess said. "You are still Sam. You are still my Sam. You just have an alter ego. Knowing that you could kill someone with your bare hands is..." She fanned her face. "I feel protected."

Sam sat up. "You are really okay?"

Jess kissed him. "Yes. By the way, my parents want us at the house by 5."

Sam blinked. "What?"

"My dad is having a birthday dinner. It will just be us."

Sam paled.

"I met your family so you can meet mine." Jess teased.

"My family is easy to impress. You just have to be female and breathing."

Jess wrapped her arms around him. "Your dad has reservations. I believe that about Dean though. You and I both need a shower and to get ready."

Sam sighed. "I don't even have anything nice to wear."

Jess grinned. "Jeans and a flannel."

"To meet your parents?" Sam asked.

"My dad will judge you no matter what. We might as well ruffle his feathers a little." Jess said.

Sam picked her up. "I don't think I want to be a pawn."

Jess held out her arm. "I gave blood for you. The least you could do is feed my rebellious streak."

Three days slipped by with no signs of demons or angels. Bobby and Caleb left the bunker with Cas and things were quiet and easy. December was rapidly approaching and the weather was getting increasingly cold.

"If we are going to head back to Sioux Falls, we might want to do that soon." Dean said.

"We can start packing things up. I am sure we will be back this way before too long." John said.

"What are we going to do about April and the kids?" Dean asked.

John rubbed his face. "We can get them back to their house."

"Andy talked to Caleb. He doesn't want to go back. Dad, that house is run down. I doubt the hot water works. April skips meals because they don't always have enough." Dean said.

John sat down with a beer and sipped it. "What about the place Missouri found?"

"That doesn't help if she can't afford it." Dean said.

April stepped into the room.

Dean wasn't sure if she had heard anything. "I was about to go looking for you. We are going to start gathering our stuff. Kate and Taylor need to get back into school."

April knew the day was coming but didn't know how she was going to handle it all.

"I had some questions and we want to discuss everything with you." Dean said.

April sat down and took a deep breath.

"Are you wanting to go back to your place?" Dean asked.

April cleared her throat. "Yes."

"You take care of the place so I'm not saying this against you but it is pretty run down." Dean said.

April blushed before straightening her back and shoulders. "I will fix things."

John took over. "I was raised by a single mom. My dad split when I was younger than Andy. She worked her ass off and it still was a struggle at times."

"I am doing fine."

"Andy seems to be cured but may still be on demon radar." Dean said.

April swallowed hard. "He is my kid."

Dean blinked. "Oh, oh no. We know that. We didn't mean you weren't taking care of him. We can find a place that is safe for you guys."

Andy heard his name mentioned and stood with his back against the wall on the other side of the doorway.

"You have already done too much." April said.

"Are you diabetic?" Dean asked.

April blinked.

"Kate thought you were." Dean said.

"I mean.. yeah but.." April stammered.

"Are you on medication?" John asked.

April shook her head. "It is expensive. I manage."

They spoke for a few minutes. April admitted that sometimes she didn't eat so the boys could eat. She was truly trying her best.

"Bobby's house is less kid friendly than this place. He isn't going to want kids running around." John said.

Andy frowned.

"I can't just move." April said. "Andy has his school there. Ian is still so small that moving around doesn't bother him but it bothers Andy."

Andy felt his heart sink. If it was just his mom and Ian, they could get help easier. He overheard a comment about him getting into things and slumped. Everything was his fault.

"If you come to Sioux Falls, we can figure it out. Then, you would be close enough if something happened. The elementary school there is good." Dean said.

John put his bottle on the table. "The officer that has been helping with David may have a few ideas. I remember a time or two the city helped my mother out." John said.

April looked away from them.

"You are entitled to help. You escaped domestic violence and have two young kids. There are programs to help with that." Dean said.

April blinked a tear away.

"Most of our income comes from fake credit cards." Dean said. "So, we are the last people to judge you for needing help. Andy would have the stability he needs."

"What about all of our stuff?" April asked.

"I suppose most of it would fit in the truck. I can cover it with a tarp."

April rested her head on her palm. Most of the furniture was used or left by the previous people. She was embarrassed.

With a plan in place they went their separate ways.

Taylor asked to go outside. He had dropped part of his bow and wanted to find it before they left.

John gave him the go ahead as long as he headed straight back.

He stepped outside and breathed slowly. The air was crisp. He couldn't wait to be in a house that had windows. He was nervous about school though. Would people remember him?" He walked over to where he had shot David and Craig. Some of the trees were broken and the dirt was disturbed. It was over. He could have killed them. He didn't though. He aimed for spots that would be healed by the demon. Part of him wished he had gotten to see the light leave Craig's demon eyes but John shielded him for that. He kept his promise to kill Craig and that meant a lot to Taylor.

Andy snuck around and got up the steps to the door. He crouched beside the wall and waited.

Taylor found the piece he was looking for and went back inside. He opened the heavy door and moved the doorstop out of the way.

Kate had drawn a dragon for Andy and went to give it to him. She didn't see him in his room or with April. She found Taylor and he wasn't there either. She heard Dean in the garage and walked in. "Where is Andy? He asked me to draw a dragon so he could color it."

Dean looked up from Baby's engine. "With Taylor or April."

Kate shook her head.

Dean slowly shut the hood of the car. "He could be with dad. Did you check the room?"

John was in his room packing his duffle when Dean knocked.

"Have you seen Andy?" Dean asked.

"No." John said.

Dean sighed. "Damn it."

John stopped what he was doing. "Is he missing or just somewhere he shouldn't be?"

Kate had spoken to April.

April said that he had been with Kate the last time she put eyes on him.

They split up to search rooms. He couldn't have gotten too far.

Dean checked the armory and was relieved that Andy wasn't there. He called Andy's name but got no answer.

April started to panic. She didn't know when he had gone missing. She felt like a horrible parent again.

They searched the bunker from top to bottom.

"Could he be moving after we check a room?" Kate asked.

"I don't think he is that stealthy," Dean said. "With five of us, one of us would have heard or seen him."

"He may be in a cubby that we just haven't seen." Taylor said.

An hour ticked by and they still couldn't find him.

April was sick to her stomach. "What if something took him?"

"Nothing can get in here." Dean said.

"Azazel did." April reminded him.

"We beefed up security. Azazel was brought in." Dean said.

John joined the group again. "Is there any way he could have gotten outside?"

Dean shook his head. "Those doors are heavy."

"I can barely open them." Kate said.

John was wracking his brain for where the kid might be hiding. "Taylor, did you shut the door all the way when you went outside?"

"Yes. I double checked. When I went out I shut it behind me. When I came back in, I did the same thing." Taylor said. He narrowed his eyes before hitting his forehead with the heel of his hand. "When I came back in, I nearly tripped on the doorstop. I picked it up to move it."

"Did you leave the door open?" John asked.

Taylor went through the motions in his head. "I mean... a few inches but it was for a second."

"Could he have gotten by you?" Dean asked.

Taylor rubbed his face. "I don't think so. Maybe?"

April couldn't stop herself from crying. If he was outside he was in so much danger. Demons, wild animals, creeps, and the cold were very real worries.

"How long ago was that?" Kate asked.

John looked at his watch. "Well over an hour."

Dean pulled his coat on and shoved his feet into his boots. "Kate, can you track him?"

Kate pulled Sam's hoodie over her head. "I can try once we get outside."

April stayed behind with Ian. She was a wreck and shaking with sobs.

"Kate, you are with me. Taylor, you are with Dean." John said.

Kate ran after John. She tried to focus on Andy but couldn't get a read on him. That terrified her.

Andy's jacket was thin. His shoes were wet and his toes were numb. He slid down an embankment and listened for any sounds. If he could find the road, he could go to town. A bird scared him and he looked around. The trees all looked the same. He stumbled around and his hands and nose got numb too. Even if he wanted to go back, he wouldn't be able to find the door. He sat down on a log and breathed on his hands to warm them. He pulled the sleeves of his jacket over his fingers and heard a motor. He started walking in the direction that he thought it came from.

Dean kept Taylor in his sights but walked a couple of yards away from him. He was looking for any sign that would point to where Andy went. He didn't even know if Andy got out of the bunker. It didn't seem likely but at least, if he was hiding inside, it was warm. Outside was cold and damp. Dark clouds overhead warned of a storm. His heart was in his throat. Andy was small. He wasn't trained. He'd get lost easily and not be able to find his way back. He was beginning to wonder if somehow something did take him.

Kate tried to search for Andy again but she still couldn't. "I can't find him."

John put a hand on her shoulder. "He has been cured. That link may be broken.'

Kate let out a breath of air. "Right." She wanted to find him but knowing that there were other explanations for her inability to read him made her feel a little better.

Dean crouched down. Some of the leaves were messed up. It looked like something had spun them. If Andy stopped and turned around trying to find his bearings, he could have left such a mark. "Taylor, over here."

Taylor ran over. "It is something."

Dean sighed. They had been out for a half hour and he was starting to shake with chills. "Andy has no fat on his body. I doubt he is dressed for a hike through the woods. I am freezing."

Taylor nodded in agreement. "We have to find him soon."

Andy felt sleepy. He was cold and wanted to take a nap. Another motor sound went by and sounded louder. Raindrops started to make their way through the tree branches and splattered on his head. He was officially scared. He tripped and rolled down another embankment. His pants were soaked and his shoes were filled with water. He sniffled. He wanted his mom.

Dean found another sign and picked up the pace. He heard a truck in the distance. "I think he is going to the road."

Taylor zipped his jacket up further. If he was as cold as he was, he didn't want to know how Andy was faring.

Dean tried to send John a message but his fingers were stiff and numb. He called him. "We have a possible trail. If I am right, I think he is headed to the road."

John turned back toward the bunker. "I'll get the car."

Kate ran behind him. "Did they find him?"

"They think they are tracking him." John said. "I am going to leave you with April. She is losing her mind."

Kate shivered. "Okay, please find him."

Taylor called for Dean. "He went down this hill."

Dean slid down the embankment. He was partially relieved to see the kid wasn't at the bottom. He could have easily broken a bone from a fall like that. Another truck went by and he confirmed that they were getting close to the road. However, not having eyes on the kid worried him more than a broken arm.

Andy thought he heard voices but he was shaking so much that he couldn't tell. Raindrops stuck to his eyelashes and made it hard to see. The rain was battering the leaves left on the trees and his jacket was soaked through. He saw the road and ran toward it.

Dean's jacket was soaked through too. The leather repelled water but the rain was so heavy that it got around the sides and in through the collar. He heard a log truck down the road and saw the headlights on top of a hill. He spotted the road and then he spotted Andy. "Andy!"

Andy stumbled onto the road. He thought he heard his name. He couldn't see anything. Thunder rolled through the sky and drowned out anything he might have heard.

Dean yelled for Andy to get out of the road but his voice was garbled by the downpour. The log truck was getting closer and he had no way to alert the driver or Andy.

Andy slipped and hit his knees. A rock hurt one knee and he limped as he stood up. He coughed as the rain got into his nose. He heard a loud rumble and thought it was thunder. He turned around as a horn blared. He couldn't see because the light was so bright.

Dean saw it happening and his heart stopped.

The log truck came to a screeching halt and the driver jumped out. He had seen the kid but it was too late. The rain was thick.

Andy sputtered as the rain got into his mouth and nose. He couldn't get a good breath. He was crying and his head hurt.

Dean saw movement on the other side of the road and sprinted toward it. He saw Andy and the lack of injury. "Andy!"

Andy jumped up and wrapped his arms around Dean's neck.

Taylor hit the road.

The truck driver was shaken. "He was right there..."

Taylor tapped him and pointed to where Dean was. They both ran over.

"Sir, sir, is the boy hurt?" The driver asked. He was certain that he had hit him. He felt the impact.

Dean checked Andy over. "He is okay."

The driver stumbled back. "I hit him."

"He got out of the way just in time." Dean said.

The driver was stunned. "Must have an angel watching over him. I am so sorry. Is he yours? What was he doing out here?"

Dean picked Andy up. "Yeah, he is mine. I don't know why he is out here. We have been looking for him."

The driver made sure Andy was indeed okay. His hands were shaking. He got back into his truck and slowly pulled away.

Another set of headlights came around the curve and made Andy scream.

Dean recognized the vehicle. "It's okay. It's okay. It is my dad."

Andy wouldn't let go of Dean. He was cold and scared.

Once in the truck, Dean wrapped Andy in a towel and turned the heat up.

Taylor got in beside them. His eyes were wide and his face was pink from the cold.

"Taylor... did you?" Dean asked.

Taylor nodded. "I tried and it didn't work the first time." He had barely gotten Andy out of the way. He let his fear dull his abilities and it almost cost them.

April wrapped Andy in a hug as soon as they got him inside. She was in tears and wanted to hold him forever.

Kate made warm drinks and gathered towels. She put dry clothes in the bathroom for each of the guys and pulled blankets from the dryer so that they would be warm.

April got Andy cleaned up and into warm pajamas. She wrapped him in a blanket and sat him in a chair so that she could put on a dry shirt.

Andy was sitting at the table drinking small sips of hot chocolate. He heard someone walk into the kitchen and turned his head. He was happy to see Dean. His smile dropped. "Are you big mad?"

Dean grabbed his coffee and sipped it. He leaned against the counter and crossed one ankle in front of the other. "What do you think?"
