The red eyes watched the group carefully, unaware of the figure behind him. Suddenly, a figure was tossed into the middle of the group. Hiei jumped from behind them ready to fight. Naruto and the others were stunned at the figure.

"Sasuke?"

Konoha

Danzo was meeting with the Hokage. The man was more a politician than a fighter.

"Hokage, I don't understand why you asked to meet with me so suddenly. I have not been active in the Council as you requested." Danzo said. The man looked bored.

"Of course you haven't. I didn't see the need for the Uchiha-a dead clan- to have representation. And they also have a compound? That will be used for a new clan I'm bringing here. Of course, they will be nins..They also have a bloodline and can be useful to the village. My cousin insists upon it." the Hokage said. Danzo's face remained impassive but his mind was furious. He needed the Uchiha compound to lure Sasuke back. The Hokage smiled

"Sasuke Uchiha is no longer a nin of Konoha. He defected six months ago and those responsible have been banished as to not have a smudge on the Fire Country." The Hokage said. Danzo nodded.

"Of course it was a trying time and the Damiyo was overrun with work." Danzo said.

"True. I want you to clean the Uchiha compound up, remove everything that makes it theirs, paint it, furnish it for the new clan. They will be here in three days time." The Hokage said. Danzo fumed.

"Hokage, that is a job for genin, not a man such as myself." Danzo said smoothly

"What is your rank as a nin?" the Hokage said, ice in his voice.

"I am a Jonin."

"Jonin, yet not active in a war or other orders, can be asked to carry out D ranked missions. That is the law. You can have help, even be the overseer, but I want you to do it. I might even let you back in the council if you do a good enough job." The Hokage said. Danzo nodded. He would use ROOT to do it

"Very well, I will start tomorrow." Danzo said. The Hokage smiled and Danzo left. Once Danzo was gone, a nin jumped from the shadows.

"Do you think that's wise? Letting him get the secrets of the Uchiha?" The nin said.

"What secrets? The Uchiha secret Justus are in the Damiyo's vault. Only normal ones remain. I have a suspicious idea that he was behind the fiasco six months ago. Of course, my cousin denies it but I will see that monster pay for his crimes. He has a daughter?" The Hokage said.

"Yes, she was born later in life to one of his ROOT operatives. He doesn't know she belongs to him." The nin said. The Hokage smiled.

"Send her to the Damiyo for training. The Lady will train her I'm sure. Can't have such a player in the court to go to waste now can we?" The Hokage said. The nin nodded and poofed away. The Hokage watched as Danzo walked to his home, eyes cold.

"For the life you took 16 years ago, you will pay you monster." The Hokage said. The Hokage then looked to his desk where a picture of him and a beautiful woman was. Sixteen years he had waited for his chance to get revenge and now it was nearing. He'd been patient this long, he could wait a little longer.

In the west

Sasuke looked up at his friends-at least he hoped they were still his friends-as they looked at him astonished.

"SASUKE!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL???" Tsunade yelled. Sakura walked up and slapped him hard.

"Damn, Sakura." Sasuke said Naruto walked up him, eyes questionably cool.

"Why did you leave Pedo? Not enough power?" Naruto asked, shaking. Sasuke looked down at his feet.

"I...I didn't even want to go. Something made me. Like I was being controlled. Kabuto had a mission near the wall and as soon as he turned I ran. I never thought I'd find you guys. Everyone was telling how y'all lost everything because of me. I...don't know how long I'll even remain in control." Sasuke said. The group at each other. Kakashi spoke.

"The curse seal shouldn't have been able to make you do anything against your will. Maybe another seal?" Kakashi questioned. Ryska spoke then.

"Curse seal? She asked. Sasuke showed his mark. Ryska looked at it. As she examined it, her face showed anger. Without a word, she pressed her hand, glowing purple, against it. Sasuke yelled out in pain. Ryska kept going until a figure began to appear from the seal. Sasuke bit back a yell as the figure was pulled from the seal. A skull floated up as Ryska finished. Sasuke fell forward, weak from the process. The group looked at the skull. Ryska called her staff forward. The skull then spoke.

"Master said to bring him the red eye boy! Now red eye boy is running away. Master is mad. Master will..." The skull spoke. Ryska spoke her voice calm.

"Wraith, who is your master?" Ryska said her eyes glowing violet. The wraith looked at her.

"Me never tell!! Me...NONONONO GREAT QUEEN, DO NOT SEND ME THERE!!!" The skull screamed as a small whirlpool of power appeared only visible to the wraith.

"Tell me, or you will go into the endless land." Ryska said, her eyes cold.

"MASTER IS THE ONE CALLED KABUTO!!! HE SAID I COULD HAVE ALL THE SOULS I WANT!!!!" the wraith screamed out. Ryska then stabbed the wraith with her staff, sending the dark energy everywhere. The group looked at her.

"Remind me to never piss her off." Kiba said. The group nodded. Sasuke looked at her.

"How did you know?" Sasuke said. Ryska spoke.

"That seal was a binder seal. It binds the controlled spirit to the bearer of the mark. And the bearer cannot fight against the spirit. This Kabuto is playing in powers that he has no idea of the repercussions of." Ryska said. A snicker came from the forest.

"So, someone figured out my little tricks." Kabuto said from somewhere in the trees. The group was immediately on guard as Kabuto sent cursed soldiers after them.

"C'mon guys, we can take these guys out." Naruto said. The group charged the cursed soldiers head on. The soldiers were no matched for the trained group but Kabuto didn't care. He was after Naruto and Sasuke for his own reasons. The cursed soldiers would wear them out and he would then jump in with the seals to bind them to him. Kabuto laughed as the group was fighting. Suddenly, a hand wrapped around his throat, cutting his laughing short. He was picked up and brought face to face with his attacker. Ice cold sea green eyes looked at him and Kabuto felt a fear that this person could destroy him with a flick of his wrist. Kabuto was tossed into the cursed soldiers as though he was a leaf. Kabuto looked at the person who threw him causing him to lose control of his cursed soldiers and they disappeared. A huge man with wild auburn hair, a broad deep face, and green eyes looked at him. The man was at least 6'5 and muscled. One of his arms was the size of Kabuto's whole body. Kabuto looked again into those eyes and did something that he normally didn't do. He wet his pants.

"W...who are you?" Kabuto said, fear in his voice. The huge man spoke, his voice like thunder.

"I am Erik the...."

Fire Country, Damiyo residence

"So you have arranged for my clan to go to this Konoha as a nin clan? Thank you." A small wizened old man said. The Damiyo waved his hand

"Think nothing of it. The Uchiha outlived their use and defected so this is space there. Besides, I think that your bloodline will flourish there as it is in a forest." The Damiyo said. The old man smiled and left. There was a caravan of people waiting for him.

"Grandfather, are we really going to have a village to call home?" A small girl asked.

"Yes, Kastui, we are. The Village Hidden in the Leaves will be home." The old man said. A young woman spoke.

"It will be nice to belong to a village again. We have wandered ever since the destruction of our home in the Land of the Echoes. Now we will have a home. What about our bloodline?" The woman asked. The old man laughed.

"Bloodlines are supported. Now let's be off to our new home. The Ibara clan will have a new home." the man said smiling. The caravan headed toward Konoha and their future. A pair of eyes, with tear ducts under them, watched as the clan left. Perhaps he could find peace now. He heard that his brother had been taken over the wall and now he had no reason to stay. He looked at the discarded cloak and ring coldly. He had done his part now he will continue to protect the brother he loved. Kisame looked at him.

"You going? I'll come too." Kisame said throwing off the cloak and ring.

"You don't have to. My job is to protect. You can stay here if you want." Itachi said. Kisame shook his head.

"Nah, I'm tired of everyone at me with hate. The only reason I joined was to get String boy off my head." Kisame said. The tow took off running for the west wall and hopefully a second chance at life
