One year after the banishment

Naruto, Sasuke, Kiba, and Shino looked over the town. They were the first to go in. Rumors of children going missing by night had begun to circulate around the lands. The boys had decided to go first because of the fact it was mainly boys going missing. Some believed a demon or warlord to be at fault. Others believe the boys ran away. Ryska had been able to find out the name of the village. Jirayia, Tsunade, Ryska, and Demi would go in second if needed. Naruto approached the inn closest to the village entrance. Once inside, the group noticed the few people who where here stared at them.

"What can I do for you boys?" The innkeeper said. Sasuke spoke, emulating a nobles way of speaking.

"I need rooms for myself and my entourage." Sasuke said, acting pompous. The innkeeper smiled.

"Of course, noble sir, I have two rooms available for such an established sir. Ledger, show them to the rooms on the end of the hall. I'll send up some.food shortly." The innkeeper said. The group followed the man to the two back rooms. Sasuke tipped the man and he left. Shino had already released a few bugs to track the innkeeper and others. Kiba was smelling everything to make sure no trap was hidden. Once cleared, Naruto placed a silencer seal on the doors so they could speak without being overheard.

"The innkeeper is the scout then. Anyone come here with money or status immediately becomes a target. And by kidnapping young boys, most are the decoys. So the innkeeper and his buddies are the first in a line of kidnappers." Shino said as his bigs informed him that the innkeeper had rushed off to another place. Naruto spoke then.

"Well, guys, now we bait the hook. Shadow clone Justu!" Naruto called out. Four clones popped into view. Sasuke then made the clones look like each of them. As they hid, a knock sounded on the door. Clone Shino answered it and was knocked out by gas that poured into the room. The kidnappers grabbed the group and ran. The real group watched from the roof as they ran in the streets. Soon, they came to a building with a very familiar spiral leaf design above it and the letter "NE". The group was quiet

"So Danzo has his claws in the west as well. He is probably harvesting the children for more of his ROOT. If we act recklessly, we might cause a bigger problem." Sasuke said. The group nodded. Naruto glared at the building with cold eyes. A gentle gust of wind caught their attention. Ryska, Jirayia, Tsunade, and the others had arrived. The group collectively gasped as they saw the sign.

"Damn Danzo. We need to do away with these ROOT." Tsunade hissed. Ryska merely smiled.

"Demi, Jack...Have fun." Was all Ryska said. Demi smiled as he walked to the edge of the building and jumped off. He landed quietly in front of the building. Jack followed without saying a word. Demi smiled as he "knocked" on the door using his foot. The ROOT nin glared at the interruption. Demi eyes fell on the dead boys body as he was being mutilated. Demi rushed into the room and began to attack the ROOT nin. The ROOT nin began using Justus to counter Demi.

"You monsters!!!!! These are children, not even of man age!!!! And you do this." Demi yelled out. A ROOT nin spoke.

"Yes, for Lord Danzo. If the child cannot help us in life it will do so in death. They are expendable." The nin said. Demi cast a cold glare at the nin.

"Expendable? No, you are. I have been saving this to show the others I guess I'll show them now." Demi said as a black mist swirled around him. His hands became like long black claws as the must twirled around him. Two huge black wings emerged from his back. His eyes were cold and unfeeling. The ROOT nin were amazed. Never had they seen such a specimen. Demi spoke, his voice deadly.

"Now you will see the true power of the warrior Fairy Demilasnatha." Demi said. Jack merely stepped back as Demi flew into the nins. The ROOT nins began to make hand signs but Demi was faster and was breaking their hands and legs. As he did so, he also dispersed the Suicide seal. The nin began to panic as they realized they could no longer take their own life. The battle was over as quickly has it had begun. The nins writhed in pain as Demi had also used magic it enhance the effect. He walked over to the little body and wrapped it up. Ryska and the others entered. Ryska glared at the nins, the souls of the children calling to her.

"You will pay for what you have done here..Not only in life but also death. A thousand times forsworn your are and shall remain until the sins of your souls have been wiped clean. You will learn pain and fear and you will welcome death...but not yet. Not for quite some time. You will learn the true meaning of pain. Jack send them to the village elder. Tell them of the deaths." Jack ran off to do just that. Ryska walked to the dead child. She placed her hand on the covered body.

"Go in peace dear soul." Ryska spoke. Demi reverted to his normal form, tears running down his face.

"They were just children. They deserved to live. Such people are scum." Demi said. Ryska laid her hand on Demi's shoulder.

"Those responsible will suffer. We are beginning to unite the west. Such scum has to be weeded out. Come, we have to meet with the elder." Ryska said. The guard had come and were told everything.The guards drug the ROOT nins away to the jail. The group returned to the hidden camp. The others had been training. Ryska allowed the others to tell what happened. She entered her tent, her mind on Danzo. She spoke then.

"You will pay for your crimes you monster..From the time you close your eyes till the break of dawn. You will feel the pain you have caused others. You will feel the anguish.You will not be able to wake nor take your own life." Ryska said. She then walked out to the others.

Konoha

Danzo had just been told that the plant he sent to the Damiyo's home had been given as a concubine to the North. He was furious but hid it. He couldn't go against the Damiyo again although the had done it before. He was planning to use the girl to control the Damiyo but the Damiyo had married her off. Danzo then called for his assistant Karbe, who was talking to Tetra Ibara. She was chatting with him about the village.

"Karbe, we need to go finish the painting of the wall." Danzo said. He was over infrastructure and he had to paint, repair, and clean the village. The village had no genin as they were still three years from graduation. Danzo felt like the Hokage was laughing at him. He didn't notice the light mist entering his body. He stormed into his office.

"Karbe, what is your thoughts on Tetra Ibara?" Danzo asked. Karbe was easily controlled but was also a civilian trained nin. He had chose him because it didn't look suspicious as choosing a ROOT nin.

"I like her, sir. Perhaps I could marry her?" Karbe said. Danzo nodded. Karbe was easily controlled by words alone. He couldn't reveal his "secret" yet. I'd Karbe married into the Ibara family, he would have a spy inside. Danzo waved Karbe off. Torune appeared.

"It seems all is going to plan. Have one of you bugs accidentally bite the Hokage at the next festival. Without him, I will be Hokage." Danzo said. He was tired of waiting. Setsui heard the order and smiled.

"Dragon, the one he is talking to is Torune?" Setsui said.

"Yes, Hokage. A poison bug user." Dragon said. Setsui nodded.

"How to deal with him?.Hmmm, a ROOT left over. I'll give Danzo a mission that Torune will have to accept and I know exactly what he wants." Setsui said. Dragon looked curious.

"Danzo was eager to recoup the Uchiha clan. If he gets information about a certain Uchiha being in a certain area, he will send Torune. Once he does, have Torune placed in the bingo book with a 1 million dollars bounty. Tell them everything about him. Even his secret bugs." Setsui said. Dragon nodded and disappeared. Setsui then sent for Danzo. The old man entered.

"Danzo, I have had a report of Sasuke Uchiha being in the Land north of Suna. As we have permission to enter there with only one nin, I was hoping you could suggest someone?" The Hokage said.

"Yes. I have a nin named Torune. He is great at retrieval missions." Danzo said.

"Good. Send him." The Hokage said. Danzo nodded and smirked. He had a way to get a new "ally" to train. Danzo took the file and left to find Torune. The Hokage smiled. He was going to take Danzo down a peg. He was going to pay and pay dearly. Danzo walked to his house, tired from his job. He ate and went to sleep.

Danzo DreamScape

Danzo walked among his village. He was Hokage and controlled everything. Suddenly, screams and cries of pain echoed in the village. Nins were everywhere killing. HIS ROOT!!!!! They attacked without fail and Danzo felt proud until he realized they were advancing on him. He called to them but they did not answer. He commanded them but they said nothing. Danzo then saw the Red eyes that he carried in his arm.

"You took our lives and our eyes!!!! You killed us!!!!! You will suffer as we have suffered!!!" The voices said. Danzo struggled to wake himself up. The UCHIHA!!!!!! He tried to run but the street had become a dead end. Danzo tried to call for help but found his voice gone. Suddenly, the Uchiha clan members became giants and Danzo an ant. They began to rain fireballs, kunais, and senbons upon his body. Danzo screamed as his body was torn apart only to come back together to be torn apart again. In this, he heard a voice, cold and icy, speak.

"You will pay for you crimes. From the time you shit your eyes to the break of day." The voice said. A voice that chilled Danzo to the bone as he was once again assaulted. Danzo screamed as he was torn apart many times praying to wake up.

West

Ryska looked towards the East with a wry grin. Danzo was beginning to feel the affects of her spell. Of course she wouldn't do it every night. She would let him get comfortable in thinking it was only a nightmare and he would forget. But Ryska didn't. She knew the one who caused the deaths of the Namikaze clan. Minato and herself were the only survivors..How could anyone unleash such a creature among the world? She had sent Minato to a village she trusted to be raised and then taken up the sword that no one had ever dared to touch. It had taken three years to master but she then sit out to destroy the creature who had been released among the west. She had encountered a evil witch along the way, using the legendary SoulFire to kill. Ryska had challenged her and won but she had to give up something most people take for granted. She had found friends along the way to help her with this mission. The creature was destroyed by all of them. Her friends too lost the one thing that most hold dear. Ryska looked at her sword, the markings glowing. She knew that the sword would only ever answer to the true Soul Queen.
