Episode 125: An EGG-sighting Adventure!
Mew and her friends continue on the route to Mahogany Town, and the next Pokemon Gym. Mew is taking care of the egg that is given to her by Mr. Shelby, along with the Togepi egg, and Ho-Oh Egg. Jen is also taking care of her Suicune Egg.
Mew looks at her light blue Egg and says, "I wonder what type of Pokémon is gonna hatch from it."
"Pika." (Me, too.) Pikachu says.
"Eevee," (Me three.) Eevee says.
": I can't wait. It's starting to drive me a little crazy waiting for that egg to crack," Misty says.
"So what type of Pokémon are you hoping for, Mew?" Brock asks.
"I'm not sure. To me, any type will be fine as long as it's a healthy Pokemon," Mew says.
"Pika!" (Here here!) Pikachu says.
Misty covers her mouth, "Mew, you sound more like a mother hen than a Pokémon trainer."
"Yeah. I guess so," Mew says, "But I can't wait for my eggs to hatch."
"Wonder which of the Eggs you got is going to hatch first," Tomo replies.
"It could be my Suicune Egg, or Mew's Togepi Egg," Jen says.
"I can't wait to see one of the eggs hatch," Molly says.
As the group chat among themselves, something comes out of the bushes. That something being Team Rocket.
"Well, what do you know? The head twerp has her a nifty, new Pokémon egg. Well, more like an addition," Jessie says.
"What do you suppose is inside of it?" James asks.
"Betcha it'll be someting pretty terrific," Meowth says.
"It could even be a legendary Pokémon," Jessie says.
"A legendary Pokémon?!" James asks, surprised.
Meowth also has some suggestions, "Like Articuno! Maybe a Moltres! Perhaps even a Zapdos!"
"Yay!" Team Rocket cheers.
But then James suggests, "Or maybe it's just something to eat with ham, bacon or sausage on the side."
"Wobb-uffet!" (I hope not!) Wobbuffet says.
"Whether it's a Pokémon or breakfast, we're going to steal that thing! And we can also natched the other eggs while we're add it," Jessie says.
"Yeah. you heard those twerps, two out of three are Legendary Pokemon," Meowth says.
"Ready!" James says.
"Yeah! And den, when we snatch up da egg, da yolk will be on dem!" Meowth says.
"Wobb-uffet!" (Let's do it!) Wobbuffet says.
Later, a storm is seen brewing
Misty is the first to notice, "Hey. The sky's starting to look a little scary."
"It looks like there's a Pokémon Center not too far ahead," Brock says, looking at the guidebook.
Lightning soon flashes, causing Pikachu and Sparkle to spark and get excited.
"Hey, Pikachu! Be careful!" Mew says.
"Sparkle, you need to be careful. We'll get hit if you do that," Misty says.
Lightning suddenly strikes further ahead as rain starts coming down.
Brock cries out, "Quick! Let's get out of here!"
"Yeah!" Everyone replies.
With that, Mew and her friends begin to make a run for it to the Pokemon Center.
Meanwhile, in the woods, Team Rocket is revealed to have been cause of the lightning strike
"We were one step away from those eggs!" Jessie says.
"But with one bolt…" James says.
"We were da ones dat got fried," Meowth says.
Meanwhile, Mew and the others arrive at the Pokemon Center.
"Alright, we made it!" Tomo says.
"Thank goodness!" Misty says.
Soon, the group walks in to meet Nurse Joy.
"It must be just terrible out there," Nurse Joy says.
"How could anything be terrible when it's what brought me to you? "Brock says, happily.
Misty then grabs Brock's ear, "Okay, you're all wet, Brock."
"Not the ear!" Brock yelps.
Nurse Joy sheepishly smiles, "Well, then, I guess I'll be showing you to your rooms."
Soon, Nurse Joy shows Mew, Misty, and Brock to their room.
"Here you are. Mew, Misty, Brock, this will be your room," Nurse Joy says.
"Nurse Joy, thanks for letting us stay here tonight," Mew says.
"You won't believe it, but you folks are our only guests. You may be a large group, but please make yourselves at home," Nurse Joy says.
"Thanks," Mew, Misty, and Brock.
Then Nurse Joy says, "And Tomo, Jen, and Molly, you'll be in the room next door."
Nurse Joy then shows them the room.
"Thank you, Nurse Joy," Tomo, Molly, and Jen reply.
Later that night…
Mew calls out, "Goodnight, everyone.
"Goodnight," Everyone else replies.
Shortly after everyone has gone to sleep, Team Rocket lies in wait.
"Perfect," Jessie says.
"The kids are all tucked away, snug in their beds," James says.
"Wo…" (Let's...) Wobbuffet speaks out loud.
But then Meowth quickly shut Wobbuffet's mouth, "While visions of Wobbuffet danced trough deir heads!"
Team Rocket heads to the back door.
"On the other side of this door lies the key…" Jessie says.
"To our happiness, so don't mess it up," James says./
And Meowth says, "Yous got it."
Meowth soon picks the lock, and it's unlocked, "Dat was easy."
Soon, Meowth and the others smirk. Then they sneak inside.
Jessie whispers, "Quiet…"
"Like…" James says.
"A mouse!" Meowth says.
"Wobbuffet…" (Abso...) Wobbuffet says, loudly.
But Team Rocket shush Wobbuffet by phishing it against the floor.
Soon, they approach the door of Mew, Misty, and Brock's room.
"It's in dere," Meowth says.
Up you go," James says.
Meowth picks the lock easily and spots the light blue egg on the desk. Then turn to see the Ho-Oh egg comfortably on the pillow. Lastly, the Togepi egg is in Mew's meg.
"And now we will separate the eggs from the twerps, creating untold riches for ourselves," James says.
Jessie and Meowth say, "Agreed!"
It's soon revealed that Meowth is tied to a pole as bait.
"How come I always gotta be da bait?" Meowth asks.
"Because you're so alluring! Get it?" James jokes.
Soon, James and Jessie carefully tiptoe in past the sleeping kids. Jessie, James and Meowth resume tiptoeing towards the light blue egg.
"Now you're all mine," Jessie happily says.
"Hey, it belongs to all of us, Jessie," James says.
"Well, I saw it first, James," Jessie says.
All the talking causes Togepi to wake up.
"You did not," James argues.
Meowth argues back, "We saw dat ting at da same time."
That is not true. I saw it 0.2 seconds earlier than you," Jessie says.
Who are you talking about?" James asks.
As Team Rocket bickers, Togepi uses Metronome.
"It's my egg or else," Jessie says.
Suddenly, Brock screams, "Stop it!"
Team Rocket looks up and sees Brock sleep talking.
"I told you I've already sworn my love to somebody else!" Brock shouts, and goes back to sleep.
"The boy appears to be dealing with some issues," James says.
Togepi soon uses its Metronome to use Teleport on the egg and case to send it somewhere safe, but it winds up out in the woods.
"But that was a close one, so let's get out of here," James says.
"Yeah, but let's make sure we grab dat egg foist," Meowth says.
"That's ri…" Jessie says.
Team Rocket looks and finds that the egg is gone
Team Rocket exclaims, "The egg's gone!"
"Wobbuffet!" (It vanished!) Wobbuffet says, holding an apple in his mouth.
"Wobbuffet," Jessie says.
"Where did that apple come from? James asks
"Looks mighty tasty," Meowth says.
"Maybe we should eat first and steal later," Jessie says.
James and Meowth happily reply, "Yeah."
They exit the room and close the door.
"Now. Point us to the fruit, and then scoot," Jessie says.
Wobbuffet points to the right and Team Rocket spots a whole basket of fruit and rushes towards it.
"You lunks are making too much noise! Quiet!" Meowth says.
Wobbuffet suddenly trips, followed by the rest of Team Rocket before they all shush each other. Meanwhile, in the woods, something finds Mew's egg. That something being a baby Kangaskhan. The baby calls out and attracts its parent before it calls out, hoping to attract the mother of the egg, but no one comes, so the Kangaskhan parent puts both the egg and its child in its pouch and wanders off.
Meanwhile, Mew is sleeping in her bed. The Togepi Egg soon begins moving on the bed and towards Mew on her bed. Then begins nudging against Mew.
"Huh…" Mew softly says, and wakes up from her sleep.
Mew sits up and lets out a yawn, "What's going on?"
Mew soon feels something nudging her face and looks to see her Togepi Egg.
Mew fully wakes up in surprise, "My Togepi Egg…"
Soon, Pikachu and Eevee wake up to see Mew sitting up and holding the egg.
"Hey Pikachu. Eevee. My egg is hatching," Mew says.
Piakchu and Eevee gather to see Mew's Pokemon Egg. And soon, the Pokemon Egg hatches into a Togepi.
The Togepi says, "Priiii."
Mew smiles and says, "Hello little one, welcome."
Togepi happily says, "Toge Toge Togepriiiii." (Hello mommy.)
"Hi sweetie," Mew says.
Suddenly, Eevee says, "Eevee Eevee!" (Mew, look over there!)
Mew turns to where Eevee is pointing and is shocked to see the Pokemon Egg she's received from Mr. Shelby is missing.
"Oh no!" Mew says, shocked.
Mew searches everywhere and can't find the Egg."
"It's gone!" Mew cries out in shock.
Soon, Misty wakes up from her sleep and asks, "What's up?"
Mew turns to Misty, "The Pokemon Egg I got from Mr. Shelvy…. It's missing!"
Suddenly, Brock shouts, "No way! I refuse to believe that your love for me has grown cold!" And goes back to sleep.
"Oh brother," Mew says, rolling her eyes.
Misty soon notices something in Mew's arms.
She gasps in surprise, "Mew, is that…"
Mew looks down to see the little Togepi, "Yes, one of my Eggs just hatched."
"Aww, it's so cute," Misty says.
"It's a she. My Topgei is a girl," Mew says.
"Well, since we both got Togepi, you plan to have a nickname," Misty says.
"I think it's a good idea. I think I'll call her Faye," Mew says.
"That's cute," Mew says.
Just then, the group hears Nurse Joy Everything okay? I heard screaming."
"Tomo's voice speaks up.
Mew opens the door to see Nurse Joy, Tomo, Jen, and Molly.
"I'm sorry Nurse Joy, but one of my Pokemon eggs is gone!" Mew says.
Tomo says, in shock, "What?!"
"But how?!" Jen asks, shocked.
"How could that happen?!" Nurse Joy asks.
Jen soon notices, "And I see your other Egg hatched."
"Yes. Guys, this is Faye, my Togpei," Mew says.
"Togepriii," (Hello.) Togepi says.
The next day, the police sirens are heard while Team Rocket chows down.
"Did you hear that?" James asks.
"That's never a good sound," Jessie says.
Wobbuffet cries out, "Wobb-uffet!" (The police!)
"Kay, let's go!" Jessie says.
James and Meowth cry out, "Right!"
Team Rocket quickly amscrays as the gang waits for the police to show up. One car does come, and in it, Officer Jenny.
Officer Jenn says, "Officer Jenny reporting! Is this where the theft occured?"
Brock quickly takes Jenny's hand and says, "If you mean you're stealing away my heart, then yes!"
"Alright," Misty says and pulls Brock's ear, "It's more like your brain's been stolen."
"Okay, tell me everything," Jenny says.
Well, what happened was…" Mew says.
Later, inside the center, Mewand Nurse Joy explain what happened.
"I understand," Officer Jenny says.
"So you see, you just gotta get my egg back," Mew says.
Ben's already calling the PDU HQ in Goldenrod City about it.
"Although you know me as Officer Jenny, I'm also the world famous Detective Jenny. Yeah," Jenny says with confidence.
"Famous Detective Jenny?" Molly replies, confused.
"But how can you do both?" Misty asks.
"It's easy for someone as crafty and resourceful as me," Officer Jenny says, and walks away, "Now, let's think about that egg. Yes!"
"Did you think of something?" Tomo asks.
"I'm thinking of the important case number we need to have assigned," Jenny says, "And now, we begin! Number 26 in Detective Jenny's files, The Case of the Vanishing Egg and the Fate of the Beautiful Nurse Joy!"
Beautiful Nurse Joy?" Nurse Joy says, confused.
"It's perfect!" Brock says.
"I don't know. All I heard so far is a really long title," Misty says.
Mew soon spots Chansey and says, "I'll betcha Chansey can help us find the egg!"
"Yeah. Maybe one of the other Chanseys took it by mistake," Misty says.
"Brilliant!" Officer Jenny says, "I was just about to say the very same thing! Nurse Joy, bring me all the Chanseys right away!"
Nurse Joy does so, but the trail goes cold.
"I'm sorry, but none of these Chansey are holding Mew's egg," Nurse Joy says.
"It looks like solving this case just isn't going to be as easy as I hoped for," Jenny says.
"You make it look easy," Brock says.
"There must be some obvious clue that we somehow overlooked," Jenny says.
"Well, I can't wait for too long, I'm gonna search for it," Mew says.
"That's a great idea," Jen says.
"And that's what I was just about to suggest," Jenny says. Then she calls out, "Growlithe, I choose you!"
And Growlithe appears.
Jenny instructs Growlithe, "Okay, Growlithe, we're looking for a missing egg that has Mew's scent on it."
Growlithe proceeds to catch Mew's scent before sniffing around for another trace of it before it catches one.
"It looks like Growlithe's on to something! Let's hurry!" Jenny says.
As the group leave the center, Team Rocket watches from the bushes
Hey, I wonder what happened. Everyone left in such a hurry," James says.
"So that would mean that there's no one else left in the Pokémon Center," Jessie says.
"It also means dat now's da time to go in and grab dat grub," Meowth says.
Meanwhile, with our heroes, Growlithe finds the case the egg was in.
"It's only the case," Tomo says.
"I guess the thief dropped the case here and just kept running with the egg," Misty says.
Suddenly, rustling is heard.
"There are your criminals!" Officer Jenny says.
However, it's revealed that it was only an Exeggcute.
"An Exeggcute?" Mew says.
The Exeggcute hops away.
"That's right, there's a wild Exeggcute nest around here," Nurse Joy says.
"And they've stolen our egg! Come on!" Jenny says.
They soon reach the nest, but find two more Exeggcute instead of Mew's Egg.
"Looks like we were wrong," Misty says.
"Guess so," Molly says.
"I don't remember saying this case would be easy," Jenny says."
"No, you never did," Brock says.
Then Misty says, ""Hey, maybe we should go look through all of the rooms one last time."
"Good idea," Jen says.
Then Officer Jenny says, "My thinking exactly! The scene of a crime always holds more than meets the eye, right?"
"Will you marry me?" Brock asks.
"Maybe they really are meant for each other," Misty says.
Sometime later, everyone returns to the Pokemon.
"There's no sign of a forced entry through the window, and the door was securely locked as well," Jenny says.
"Which means?" Molly asks.
"Which means there's no way anyone could've broken in here," Jenny says.
She then hears a Togepi voice.
She turns to Misty and asks, "Is that Togepi yours, Misty?"
"Yes," Misty says.
"And the missing egg belongs to Mew?" Jenny asks.
"Uh yes," Mew says.
Then Jenny says, "It's all becoming very clear."
"This egg-napper, is Brock!" Jenny announces.
"Oh, Jenny, that's brilliant!" Brock says, but quickly realizes what she said, "Huh?"
"That's right," Officer Jenny says, "There's no way that anyone else could've gotten inside of this sealed room. So by using deductive reasoning, since Mew is the victim, the thief must be one of you two.
Brock and Misty exclaim, "What?! One of us?"
Then Officer Jenny says, "Here's the scenario. One day, Brock was watching Misty and Mew. Misty with her Togepi, and Mew with his yet unhatched eggs. Brock snapped. 'Why should I be the only one without an egg?' he cried. 'Why, oh, why?' he whimpered as he fell asleep. Then, the night of the crime, Brock woke up and looked down at Mew sleeping peacefully while cradling his new egg, and he became more and more unhappy. As Brock climbed down the ladder from his bed, he felt a jealousy unlike any other he had felt before. His mind raced with guilt. 'I can't do this. I shouldn't do this, but I can't help myself.' As if someone was controlling his every move, Brock snatched that innocent egg from Mew's arms.
"That poor egg. And a shame," Jenny says.
Mew says, "Uh, I'm having trouble believing it. Brock is my friend and would never do something like that."
"I agree with Mew," Tomo says.
"Besides, the Egg that was stolen was on the nightstand, not in Mew's arms," Tomo says.
"Yeah. He would never take something from Mew," Jen says.
"I understand your feelings towards Brock, but try and see it my way," Jenny says.
Meanwhile, down the hallway and cuts to Team Rocket, who had just finished chowing down.
"I'm stuffed. Nuttin like a full belly," Meowth says.
"A full belly and a flat stomach," Jessie says.
"Life is good," James says.
"Wobbuffet," (I agree.) Wobbuffet says.
Back to the room…
"How can you be sure that ridiculous story is even true without any evidence?" Mew questions.
Suddenly, they hear Sparkle, "Pika Pika Pika." (Misty, look over here!)
Misty walks over, "What is it, Sparkle?"
"Pika Pikachu," (Look at the lock.) Sparkle says.
Mew translates, "She said to look at the lock."
"The lock," Mity says.
She then notices and gasps, "Guys, Sparkle found something. Come and look at the marks left here on this doorknob."
Everyone soon sees marks on the knob.
"You're right!" Tomo says.
"Someone must've picked the lock from the outside,"
"I get it now. This is, without a doubt, more of Brock's handiwork," Jenny assumes.
"My HANDIWORK?!" Brock exclaims.
"Brock was trying to show his innocence by putting those marks there himself. Making it appear that someone crept in from outside," Jenny assumes.
Mew frowns and says, "Actually, I think someone else broke into the Pokemon in the middle of the night. "
Then Nurse Joy says, "I think Mew is right. Look at the outside door knob and you'll see the same scratch marks as the other one."
Outside… they find the lock outside has the same scratches.
"Yes, these marks are exactly the same. So I guess there really WAS an outside intruder," Jenny says.
"See? Then it couldn't have been Brock!" Mew says.
Brock says in tears, "What a relief! I'm not really a criminal after all!"
"Now, I'll crack this case at no charge," Jenny says.
Misty sweat drops, "After all of this, I think we'll charge you."
"Mmm…" Mew says, looking at the scratches, "From the looks from these scratches, they seem to be coming from a Pokemon."
Then Jenny calls out, "Jumpluff, let's go!"
"Wow, what's that? Molly asks.
"It's a Jumpluff," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.
Dexter says, "Jumpluff, the Cottonweed Pokémon, and the final evolved form of Hoppip. A Grass and Flying Type. Jumpluff catches seasonal winds to spread its cotton-like spores and make offspring."
Soon, Jenny calls out, "Now, Jumpluff, use your spores!"
Jumpluff proceeds to dust the room over, revealing something on the floor
"Look! Footprints!" Brock calls out.
"Our criminal's footprints should appear in here as well,' Jenny says.
"But there's no way you can tell when these footprints were even made, is there?" Tomo says.
"You're right, Tomo. That will be a problem," Jen says.
Then Misty turns to Nurse Joy, "Do you know when this floor was last cleaned, Nurse Joy?"
"If I remember correctly, it was yesterday afternoon. So no one but all of us came in here since then," Nurse Joy says.
"Well, that's perfect. So any footprints other than ours…" Misty says.
"Will lead us directly to our criminal!" Jenny says.
"That's great!" Mew says.
Soon, Officer Jenny inspects the bottoms of everyone's shoes.
"An investigator's job isn't always glamorous," Jenny says.
Officer Jenny continues to examine everyone's shoes.
When she's done, Jenny examines the footprints, "These footprints are all on top of each other, I can't tell which is which."
Soon, Pikachu spots something, "Pika! Pika Pika!" (Hey, guys! Check these prints out!)
"Those footprints over there are closest to where the egg was stolen," Mew says.
"Yes, I thought those footprints looked pretty suspicious," Jenny says. She then walks over and examines them, "Aha! And they're different from all of your footprints!"
"Then they must belong to the thief!" Brock says.
Examining the footprints, Jenn says, "It looks like there are two thieves. They snuck up to this point, swiped the egg, and ran out."
"But those footprints go all the way to where the egg was sitting. Right?" Misty says.
"You know, I was just about to say that, too," Jenny says, "Our thieves must've had extremely long arms."
"Maybe they used a Pokémon to do their stealing," Brock says.
"Well, what could be used to take things from far away?" Misty questions.
"Hmm, they could have used Vine Whip," Mew says.
Then Jenny says, "That's it! Anyone with a Pokémon that uses Vine Whip must be the thief!"
"Well, we have a few Grass Types that can use Vine Whip," Mew says, "So it's possible that the thief also has Pokemon that can use their attack."
"That's true, so it will be difficult to narrow the possibilities," Jen says.
"Yes, you're right," Jenny says, "On to the hallway! Jumpluff, throw your spores here as well!"
Jumpluff does so, revealing more footprints. Among them, Pokemon tracks.
"These are the pawprints of a Suicune. Yes," Jenny says.
But Brock says, "I think they look a little too small for a Suicune."
"You're right," Jenny says, and examines the prints, "Judging from the length of each step, It's a Wooper."
"I don't think Wooper have any paws," Misty says.
Then Mew asks," May I take a look."
"Sure," Jenny says, and hands Mew the magnifying glass.
"Hmmm… One of these Prints is a Meowth's footprint, and the other is difficult to make out, but it looks to be a…" Mew says, but suddenly gasps, "Wait a minute…"
And then the realization hits her, "I think I know who the egg thief is. Follow me…"
Soon, everyone follows Mew, and finds a crucial clue… the face imprints of Team Rocket.
"I knew it!" Mew says.
"It's Team Rocket!" Tomo says.
"We should have known it was them," Jen says.
In the kitchen…
"Did you hear something?" James asks.
"The twerp patrol!" Jessie says.
Outside…
"They fell here and left their face prints," Misty says.
"So it was Team Rocket who snuck into the Pokemon Center to steal Mew's eggs, and possibly Jen's Egg and our Pokemon too," Tomo says.
"And come to think of it, Team Rocket has Victreebel, and it can use Vine Whip!" Brock says.
"And those meanies always following us, trying to steal our Pokemon
"Well, as for myself, I knew that the Pokémon used to pick the locks was a Meowth the whole time," Jenny says.
"Those footprints head right to the kitchen," Nurse Joy says.
"After stealing my egg, they probably went in there to steal some food," Mew says.
"And from the looks of it, the footprints seem to lead into the kitchen, but not out," Mew says.
"So they're in there," Molly says.
"This is exactly as I suspected," Jenny says, "Let's go."
However, the kitchen door is locked.
"Hey! It won't open! They must've locked the door behind them!" Jenny says.
"But there isn't even a lock on that door," Nurse Joy says.
On the other side, Team Rocket is holding the door shut.
"My guess is that Team Rocket is blocking the door!" Mew says
"Then we've no choice but to break it down," Jenny says, and shouts, "Heave, ho!"
But as everyone rushes, Team Rocket opens the door and lets them in.
Thanks for dropping! Bye!" James says.
Team Rocket makes their getaway.
"Hey!" Mew shouts and chases after them.
The chase soon leads into the woods.
"It's their footprints! They're going into the forest!" Misty says.
"Yeah, but they're not gonna get very far!" Mew says.
They soon spot the mother and child Kangaskhan.
"Look over there, guys!" Tomo says.
"It's Kangaskhan!" Mew says.
But Brock notices, "Hey, look what's inside Kangaskhan's pouch!"
"It's Mew's egg!" Misty says.
"Kangaskhan found it!" Jen says.
"But how?" Molly asks.
Mew rushes over and calls out, "Hold up, Kangaskhan."
The Kangaskhan stops.
"You see, the egg you have in your pouch, really belongs to me," Mew says.
"Kangas?" (It does?) Kangaskhan questions, and takes the egg out of the pouch.
Mew nods in reply, "Yes. We were looking for it."
"Pikachu. Pika Pika. (Yes. We've been looking for it all day.) Pikachu says.
The Kangaskhan sniffs the egg, then sniffs Mew.
"Looks like it's sniffing Mew, to make sure it's his egg," Brock says.
And soon, the Kangaskhan happily returns the egg.
"Thank you, Kangaskhan," Mew says and nuzzles her egg, "I thought I'd never see you again."
"Eevee Eevee." (The search is done.) Eevee says.
Then Misty begins to wonder, "But how do you think Kangaskhan ended up with the egg if Team Rocket stole it in the first place?"
"Good question," Brock says.
"Kangaskhan have strong maternal instincts, so maybe it was worried about the egg," Nurse Joy says.
"Okay, I know exactly what happened!" Officer Jenny says. He then explains, "Team Rocket fled the crime scene with the egg in hand, when, as they ran through the woods, they bumped right into our friend, Kangaskhan, who instantly saw Team Rocket for the underhanded criminals they were and knew the egg they had was stolen. So Kangaskhan challenged Team Rocket for control of the egg. Team Rocket launched a cheap attack against Kangaskhan and back and forth they went. But in the end, it was Kangaskhan who finally gained control of the egg. The egg was put safely into its pouch and then seeing to return the egg to its owners, set off on a journey."
"Your theory is beyond beautiful!" Brock says.
"I don't know about that theory" Mew says.
Then turns to Kangaskhan, "But still, thank you for keeping my egg safe."
"Thanks, that's such a nice thing to do for Mew," Misty says.
Kangaskhan and the baby nod in reply, although they're confused by Officer Jenny's statement.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket watches from the bushes
"If anybody's pocketing that egg, it's us," Jessie says.
"Now that it's out of the pouch, we can poach it!" James says.
"Let's egg-stract it!" Meowth says.
And Wobbuffet shouts, "Wobb-uffet!" (Egg-scellent!)
Suddenly, a mechanical arm comes out. Mew quickly turns around to protect the Egg, but ends up grabbing her.
Pikachu and Eevee cry out, "Mew!"
"Who is that?!" Jenny asks.
And they look up to see Team Rocket's balloon. Soon, they begin the motto.

Prepare for trouble, we're lending a hand!
James:

"Don't you get tired of losing?!" Mew shouts.
"Well, we may have the twerpette, but at least we can grab her eggs and Pokemon," James says.
"Let me go you witch!" Jen shouts.
This makes Jessie mad, "Why, you little! Go, Arbok!"
And her Pokemon is called out.
Then James calls out, "Victreebel, get in there, too!"
Victreebel comes out and tries to eat James instead.
"Didn't we discuss this?!" James cries out.
"Go, Arbok! Do a Bite attack, now!" Jessie calls out.
Arbok charges in but Kangaskhan steps in with a Dizzy Punch.
"What was that?" Tomo asks.
"It's Kangaskhan's Dizzy Punch!" Brock says.
Arbok lands in the balloon basket.
Officer Jenny calls out, "Growlithe, I choose you!"
Growlithe comes out of the Pokeball.
Then Jenny calls out, "Use Flamethrower on that giant hand!"
Growlithe launches the attack, breaking the hand and causing Mew to call off. Soon, the Kangaskhan then catches Mew in her arms.
"Thank you," Mew says.
Then Kangaskhan places Mew down. Suddenly, Mew's Togepi, Faye begins moving his little hand left and right. Then Faye's hands begin to glow. With that, Faye the Togepi launches a Thunderbolt attack and hits, and destroys the balloon, sending Team Rocket flying.
Not again!" Team Rocket cries out.
Wobbuffet cries out, "WOBBUUU!" (HELP ME!)
"Nice work, Faye," Mew says.
Toge Togepriii," (Mommy's happy.) Faye happily says.
Officer Jenny salutes, "I salute your kindness and generosity, Kangaskhan. It was because of your going beyond the call of duty that Mew has his egg back.
"Thanks a lot, Kangaskhan," Mew says.
Eden the Pokemon thanks Kangaskhan.
Later that evening, at the Pokemon Center…
"You're lucky I was able to take this case, since it really had some complex twists and turns," Jenny says.
"You sure it was the case that was twisting and turning?" Misty says.
"Perhaps now you can solve the Case of the Lovesick Pokémon Breeder," Brock says.
Misty pulls Brock's ear, "I'm sorry, that will remain unsolved."
"Good luck. I hope your egg hatches into a healthy young Pokémon, Mew. And congratulations on Faye's hatching," Nurse Joy says.
"Thank you both for everything. See ya," Mew says.
Soon, everyone departs
Officer Jenny says goodbye, "Goodbye! Take care!"
"Have a safe trip!" Nurse Joy says.
With Mew's egg is safe and returned, Mew and her friends continue on their journey to Mahogany Town.
Further down the road…
"Whatever kind of Pokémon's inside of there must be pretty tough, since it's already overcome a Team Rocket scheme," Brock wonders.
"Yeah, and it's still only just an egg," Misty says, "You know, Mew. I wonder if it's gonna be a Psychic type."
"I don't care what type it is, I just want it to be a healthy Pokemon. I can't wait for it to hatch," Mew says.
"I know. Me, too," Misty says.
"And congratulations on your Togepi's Egg catching," Jen says.
"Thanks," Mew says.
Faye, stocks her head out of Mew's bag and happily chirps with glee.
Everyone begins laughing as they continue on their next adventure.
