"They're here. Prepare for battle."

"Everyone!!! We are under attack. Hobgoblins!!!" Ryska called out. The nins were on their feet instantly. Naruto grabbed kunai and shuriken and rushed to Tsunade and the others. A mass of humanoid creatures were running towards them. Tsunade had sent her Amazons away for more training. Jirayia, Hiko, Tsunade, and Ryska looked at the charging group..

"Quick lesson, aim for the soft spots and DON'T show weakness. Tear them to shreds!" Ryska said, casting aside the long fabric robe she wore. She was wearing a two piece fighting uniform. Her eyes were pulsing with power. She was ready to end these monsters.

"Kill the humans! Kill the humans!" The hobgoblins chanted. Ryska spoke, in a voice so cold that it sent shivers down the spines of the nins.

"Kill or be killed. Give no quarter cause they won't give you any. Now, lets destroy these monsters!" Ryska said. The nins and slayers ran towards the hobgoblins. Naruto tossed Kunai and took out a few of them. Suddenly, he was fighting one with an axe. He dodged and weaved from the axe. Naruto had to think quickly. He needed to be able to fight quickly. He rhen saw his opening and slammed his kunai into the hobgoblin's chest. Suddenly, blood gushed out of the mouth of the hobgoblin.

"Hehehehehe, foolish boy. You're dead even though I die.. I've poisoned my blood so that if it touches anyone, they will die a slow painful death. And my comrades are the same but each has its own poison..We will wipe out the human scum and take over the world..." The hobgoblin laughed. Naruto looked at his body. If thats true I'll go down fighting. Kyuubi can you do something? Naruto asked. I can delay the poison but this is a new poison to me. Kyuubi replied. Naruto then attacked another one..He then began to notice the battlefield getting quieter. He looked and saw Sasuke and Sakura covered in blood and with a few wounds. He saw that the nins had been separated from the slayers. Naruto looked and saw Hiko was slicing through the attacks like butter. We have to hold. Naruto thought. He tossed the goblin he was fighting away and blocked another one. A laugh began to reach the ears of all the nins.

"Now my warriors Kill the humans! Release your toxins!" The goblin yelled. Soon the goblins that were fighting the nins began spewing blood onto the unsuspecting nins.

"What?!! Poisoned! Try to avoid it!" Kiba said, his noise smelling the toxins. The group then began to fight the flood. Ryska had been pulled away from the nins. She looked up and saw what was happening. No, no i can't lose anyone else. I have to stop this! Ryska thought. She felt a warming sensation against her back. The box, open the box. A voice said. Ryska removed the box quickly and opened it. The rings were glowing. She set the box down. Demi was attacking from the air as they had some birdlike goblins helping them. Ryska watched in horror as the nins began to go down. The rings were vibrating and glowing brighter. Ryska's eyes glowed furiously. She then unsheathed her sword as another group of hobgoblins advanced on her. Their eyes got wide at the sight of the ebony blade with a jade handle. Their faces showed fear and hatred at the same time. Ryska then smiled.

"Come at me, you worthless beings. Your Queen died upon my staff now you will feel the sting of my blade. You will soon join her." Ryska said. A small group of goblins rushed en masse to take her down.but she was ready to slaughter.

"Forbidden Justu: Cursed Soul Annihilation." Ryska said. Long black tendrils of power swelled from the sword and wrapped around each goblin. The goblins screamed as every bad deed and every death they caused came back haunt them. The tendrils suddenly went back into the blade the goblins flesh and bone melting away as their souls were to permanently reside in the sword. The others yelled in anger. Ryska then sliced her sword though the air cutting diwn five of the remaining ones. She looked and saw that the slayers had reached the nins and were pushing back the blood that poisoned them. The slayers were immune to the poison but the nins were not. Ryska then turned to the remaining group and smiled. She then allowed her power to come full force..The goblins felt rhe power rising and were shaking with fear.

"You DARE TO ATTACK MY FRIENDS!!!!! YOU HAVE SIGNED YOUR DEATH WARRANTS. FOR EVERYONE YOU MURDERED, YOU WILL SUFFER 100 TIMES OVER. SECRET FORBIDDEN JUSTU: SOUL DESTROYING BOMB! " Ryska called out. A huge orb of power began to grow around Ryska's entire body. Soon, a purple, black, and red mass surrounded Ryska. Ryska then used her sword to direct the orb upwards. One of the goblins chuckled.

"You're bluffing. Your puny humans will be killed in the process. You won't harm us to save them." The goblin said. Ryska cast her eyes the speaker. The goblin began to tremble. Those eyes were so cold.

"Unlike you, I can control my powers. Why do you think i pulled the souls of the others into my sword?" Ryska said as she slashed downward, sending the orb to the group. Suddenly, the orb began to engulf the group. The goblins were trying to flee as the orb was coming closer.. Suddenly, hands reached out and began grabbing the goblins and pulling them into the orb. Soon the group was engulfed and the orb sailed upwards. The orb exploded in the sky anove the last goblins, showering them with bloody guts and killing them with shards of bones. Ryska sighed. She then looked towards the box and saw the rings were gone. She also saw the nins sitting up and getting checked over. You know they are now like us right? That they have a weapon that matches the ring and are immortal? A voice said. Ryska smiled.

"Yes, I know. I'll tell them when its time, for now lets enjoy the victory. Did we lose anyone?" Ryska said.

"No, some injuries but no deaths. Demi is making sure that there are none left. Too bad Jack, Kahani, and Eric weren't here. That would have been fun!" the voice said. Ryska shook her head. She would soon have to face the others and tell them but not now.

Naruto POV during the battle

Naruto was slowing down. The poison was getting yo him. As his knees gave out, a shout came from his side.

"Naruto! Get up!" Kakashi said as he made it to Naruto. Naruto pushed his body up.

"Sensi, poisoned. The blood... poisoned." Naruto said weakly. Kakashi was stunned. He and the others had poisoned blood in them.

"Keep fighting! I'll..." Kakashi said as he watched the younger nins falling. Damn fast acting poison. Kakashi thought. Even he was feeling off. We have to hold. Naruto collapsed again. Kit!!!! Stay awake!!!! Kyuubi yelled inside his mind. Sleepy. Naruto thought. Suddenly, a slight warming feeling came around his finger. As Naruto's eyes closed, he felt warm. A voice spoke to him.

"Child, do you accept the responsibility of this ring?" A voice said. Naruto looked around. He was in a dark place. He called out.

"What so you mean?" Naruto asked.

"Only you can accept directly. If not, all you and your friends die."

"Die??? All...Yes, I'll accept!!!" Naruto said.

"Very well. For the others, they will pass..." the voice said.

"NO!!!!! I WON'T ALLOW IT!!!!! I...WILL SAVE THEM!!!!!" Naruto yelled. The voice spoke.

"Very well..They will be saved. Soon the one who knows will tell you. WAKE UP!!!!"

Naruto woke up with a start. Tsunade's face above him.

"Brat, don't do that again!!!! We almost lost you!!!" Tsunade said. Naruto sat up and smiled.

"Sorry." He said. The slayers were using the breathing techniques to push the blood back. Gyutaro was sending his own bloody attcaks at the remaining goblins. Soon, all were defeated. Naruto and the others then felt a very strong power and looked to Ryska. She sliced her blade downward, releasing an orb of power..The goblins in the way died very painfully. Naruto then felt a ring on his finger. Kiba, Sasuke, Sakura, Ino-Shoka-Cho, Tenten, Lee, and Neji had ine as well but different. Tsunade had one similar to Naruto's. I'll ask Ryska later. Suddenly, Naruto stumbled as he lost consciousness. Sasuke caught him. He too felt exhausted. Tsunade noticed that the nins were unusually tired. The poison was a sleep poison that Tsunade kept an antidote for. Perhaps because the fight and poison. Ryska walked to them, eyes cool.

"Is everyone alright?" Ryska asked softly.

"Yes, a few wounds. Nothing some rest won't heal." Tsunade said. Suddenly, a sweet voice spoke.

"Oh dear, we missed the battle. I was so hoping to get some samples." A young woman spoke as she neared the battleground. Ryska smiled

"Shinobu, you are earlier than i expected." Ryska said. Shinobu spoke softly.

"We were able to move fast thanks to to Rui. His webs moved us at night. Gyomei and Sanemi will be here tomorrow as they encountered some trouble. Genya, Mitsuri, and Muichiro are behind me making sure none survived. And Kanao is helping with the injured." Shinobu said, her trademark smile in her face. Ryska nodded. She was concerned ass she saw each of the nins fall unconscious. She knew that this was the power of the rings acclimating to the nins. Hiko called to her.

"Ryska, are the nins ok?" Hiko said concerned.

"Yes, they are asleep." Ryska said softly. Shinobu spoke to Hiko.

"Hello, Master Hiko. Kenshin, Giyu, and the others will be later today." Shinobu said. Hiko sighed.

"I expected as much. My student is so absent minded." Hiko said. Soon all the nins were in their tents, asleep. Ryska looked out over the plains as Demi landed beside her.

"They are the others, aren't they?" Demi asked softly. Ryska spoke her voice soft.

"Yes, they were chosen by the rings. Soon, we will be able to take on any evil and defeat it. Until then, we must train them to fight whatever evil comes and to win." Ryska said, eyes flashing.

"My home was wiped out. My family was destroyed save a few. I will not let what happened to me happen to anyone else." Ryska said her voice cold. Demi knew what she had been though..He was there by her side. He saw the anguish, the pain, and the acceptance of losing her home and family. Ryska had always been strong willed and determined. The council of Nami feared that she would challenge her half brother for the Kage position so they sent her on a suicide mission. When she found out about the mission, she eas upset but understood. Then the war began. Nami and Uzu tried to stay out of it but a traitorous alliance had destroyed both villages. When they returned, there were only burning building and death. Ryska found her brother, mortally wounded, and he told her of the attack. She then set out to stop the evil of the world by finding the legendary Soul Queen and asking her for help. She never imagined she was the Soul Queen. She swore to avenge her village and family by stopping all evil. The few she had given second chances to deserved it because they were misled. Demi had saw her at her lowest and stood with her against all comers. She had given him a second chance too and he would never forget that.

Northen Land

A man looked over his ideas. Time is my friend. He thought, his eyes cold. I will control the world and destroy all who stands in my way. The man thought again with a cold smile of his face.

Rain

Pain was concerned. Tobi was missing and so was Konan. A nin ran in, robes in his hands.

"Whose are those?" Pain said coldly.

"Hidan, Kakuru, and Konan's. They are torn to shreds." the nin said.

"What?! Impossible!" Pain roared. The nin began to quiver.

"T...they...were found like this." The nin said. Pain gazed upon the torn robes and discarded rings.

"Then they have been killed. Burn these. Send word to Sasori abd Deidara to be stay put until i tell them to act." Pain said, voice emotionless. The nin grabbed the item and left. Little did Pain know that it was too late for both of them.

Grassland Village.

"Sasori, I wanna explode something." Deidara said to his companion.

"We were yold to stay low." Sasori said coldly. Suddenly, Deidara was knocked backwards. Sasori looked in the direction of the attack. A man stood there, his eyes calm.

"Who are you to attack me?" Deidara said. The man smiled, slow and deliberately.

"Oh do forgive me, My name is..."
