Kate was relieved that the ship mission had gone well. The relief didn't last as the overwhelming feeling of darkness and doom sank into her bones.

Jess was numb. Her parents were being held somewhere. What was she supposed to feel? "When can I see them?"

Sam looked at Dean before he spoke. "They are going to ask your mom some questions. Are you sure you want to see them?"

Jess looked into his eyes. "I am sure."

"Dad or Bobby will tell us when it is safe to go over there," Sam said.

April offered Ian a piece of candy, trying to distract him.

Ian pushed her hand away and continued to fuss.

Karen ran some bath water and added bubbles. That seemed to soothe him for a few minutes.

Andy sat down on the couch and fidgeted with his fingers.

Dean sat down beside him. "Are you doing okay?"

"I'm stressed," Andy said. "Ian keeps crying."

"You can hang out with me. I have some music upstairs if you want to listen to it." Dean said.

Andy nodded and followed Dean up to his room. He accepted the headphones from Dean and put them over his ears. "My dad is coming back soon, right?"

"I'll ask." Dean said. He didn't complain when Liam jumped on his bed to be next to Andy. "Yell if you need anything. I'm going to see if I can get an update."

Andy slid down next to Liam and closed his eyes as the soft sounds of music entered his ears, blocking out the world and a rather fussy Ian.

Kate was quiet. She was worried and still annoyed that she was banned from helping. She had worn her nails down and picked up a pencil to keep herself from digging into the skin.

Taylor could feel the same darkness that Kate could. He looked outside. The evening was dark. Shadows seemed deeper than usual and heavy clouds covered what rays of sunlight were left as the sun went down.

Dean and Sam listened as John gave them detailed instructions.

Sam would be able to bring Jess to the location before the soul swap. That was the only way to guarantee that Martha would still be alive for her to attempt to seek closure.

Jess was nervous. She wished she could just be strong and not care about what her mother may say. Would anything make it okay? No. Nothing could excuse what Martha had done.

Kate felt a tingle creeping up her spine. She froze in one spot and saw flashes of her vision that she had previously forgotten. She couldn't quite piece it together and that frustrated her. She bristled and went to the window. She saw movement and for the briefest moment, she saw Hellen standing at the edge of the trees. She blinked and stumbled back.

Taylor touched her arm.

Kate flinched. "I'm going insane. I'm seeing things."

Taylor gently turned her to face him. "What did you see?"

"Hellen," Kate said. "She was there and then she wasn't."

"So it could be a vision or a ghost. The house is well warded against ghosts though." Taylor said. "We have to ride this out."

Rain started falling and pelted the roof of the house.

Andy sat up and moved the headphones from his ears. He could tell the sound was from rain but it seemed like more rain than he was used to.

Ian started crying harder and held onto April as tight as he could.

April put a blanket around him and snuggled him. She just wanted him to sleep. He had been so fussy and had been awake for so long that he was on a downward spiral.

Taylor saw a flash of lightning and licked his lips.

"Okay, an electric fence is one thing but you are not going to go tango with mother nature," Dean said.

Taylor sighed. "You are killing my only sense of joy right now."

"I'm not letting you get fried. Sorry if that ruins your fun." Dean said, lightly.

(John and the others)

Martha couldn't undo the restraints around her arms. They must have used some type of spell.

John pulled a chair in front of her. "I have some questions."

Martha gave him an annoyed look.

"No one is coming to help you. We have this place locked down. So, let's talk." John said.

"I have nothing to say." Martha said, indignantly.

"Really? You don't want to talk about why your husband is soulless?"

Martha rolled her eyes. "That is none of your business."

"It is my business because I am making it my business. You can talk willingly or the truth can be extracted from you." John said, darkly.

Castiel leaned against the wall and cracked his knuckles.

"How typical. You'd threaten a defenseless woman." Martha spat.

"Who are you working with?" John asked.

Caleb called April to check in and could not understand her over the sound of Ian crying. He heard rustling and then the cries faded.

"Karen took Ian in the other room. He has been crying nonstop. Nothing is helping." April said.

Andy tiptoed up to April and tugged on her shirt. "Is that dad?"

April crouched down. "Yes."

Caleb said hi to Andy and asked if he was okay.

"There is a big storm, dad. Can you come back now?" Andy asked.

Caleb could hear the fear in Andy's voice and knew April was frazzled. "I'm going to talk to John and Bobby. Andy, I'd like to talk to your mom. Can you give her some privacy?"

Andy frowned. "Okay dad, I love you."

Caleb smiled. "I love you too."

(Bobby's house)

Andy stepped away from April and went to find Dean again.

Kate touched Ian's forehead and compelled him to sleep, instantly cutting his cries.

Karen gasped. "Is he okay?"

"Yes. He is dreaming about the park." Kate said.

Karen shifted Ian and supported his head against her shoulder. "Do you know why he is so upset?"

"He isn't in pain. Maybe he feels the same thing that Taylor and I do." Kate said.

April finished talking to Caleb and found Karen and Ian. "He fell asleep?"

"Kate helped him." Karen said, quietly.

April offered to take him but let Karen hold him when she declined.

"Why don't you get yourself something to eat and then rest. You are exhausted." Karen said.

April rubbed her eyes. "I think that is a good idea."

Taylor held his hand against the window and watched purple lines of electricity form around his hand.

Jess saw him. "That looks really cool."

"I guess there is so much lightning happening outside that some of it is sticking around," Taylor said. He pulled his hand back and felt his fingers pulse.

Kate saw Hellen again and her blood boiled. If it was her ghost, she could get rid of her. Taylor was right though, the house was warded. She laid down on her bed and closed her eyes. She needed answers.

(John and the others)

Martha was not a very stoic person. She was used to being handed everything she could ever want. She had never struggled for any length of time and she broke as soon as Castiel took a step toward her. "I don't work for anyone."

John leaned forward. "We know you stole Ross's soul. Tell me why."

Martha twisted her wrists as the restraints chafed her skin. "I was offered a solution to my problems."

"Go on." John said, firmly.

"A nice young lady told me to do a spell. Then, all of my worries would go away." Martha said.

John got up and walked around his chair, choosing to rest his elbows on the back of it. "What did she ask for in return for solving your problems?"

Martha looked away from John's eyes, not liking how deeply they seemed to bore into her soul.

"You said that someone you worked for was interested in meeting me." John pushed.

"I don't know why she wants to meet you. I just know that she wants to." Martha said.

Castiel approached and pulled information from her head, seeing that she was ignorant on much of what happened. He stepped back and nodded at John.

John left the room to speak to Castiel and Bobby.

"Hey, John. April said there is a big storm out their way. Ian had to be compelled to sleep. Do you think something is over there?" Caleb asked.

John rubbed his face. "Get ahold of Dean. Ask him."

Castiel told John and Bobby that a woman approached Martha, as she told them before. He said that the woman did offer Martha a spell and her soul is tied to that person. It was a crossroads deal without the crossroads.

"Did she make the choice not knowing what would happen?" Bobby asked.

"She assumed that he would die. She has no remorse." Cas said.

John rubbed the back of his head. "Did you get any information on who she is working with? Is it Hellen?"

"She has spoken to someone but doesn't know anything about them. The demon that gave her the spell is powerful. It is far more powerful than a regular demon." Castiel said.

Bobby grumbled. "Great."

Caleb returned. "Dean said there are a few weird things going on but everyone is safe inside. He is going to check things out."

"Why don't you go on home to your family. Sam will bring Jess here. We have things under control." John said.

Caleb asked if he was certain and got one of John's signature looks in return. "I'll head back. Let me know if things change and I'll turn around."

John put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't stop on your way back. Make sure your warding is in tact."

Caleb nodded. "Yes sir."

(Bobby's house)

Sam got a call from John and gathered his stuff. "Dean, your car is already warded."

Dean handed Sam the keys. "You don't have to ask this time. I'm not sending you two out without cover." He looked at Jess. "Keep your feet on the floor at all times."

Jess smiled. "See, you got over it. You can't stay mad."

Dean clapped Sam on the back. "Be safe out there."

Sam took Jess's hand and darted out to the car. The rain was pouring as if the sky had been split open. Leaving the safety of the house made his stomach drop but the car was nearly monster proof. He cranked the car and backed away from the house.

Jess's heart was in her throat. "Sam, what if I can't do this?"

"I'll be right there with you. If you decide that you don't want to talk to her, that is okay. You do what makes you comfortable." Sam said.

Jess slipped her shoes off as they were wet. She tucked her feet under her and rested her head against Sam's arm.

"Two minutes and you already have your feet up." Sam said.

Jess looked up at him and smiled. "At least they are dry."

Sam got onto the main road and made a mental note of the first exit he needed to take. "Rest. We've got a long drive ahead."

Jess closed her eyes and steadied her breathing. She focused on the pulse she could feel in Sam's arm. She felt safe.

Taylor rubbed his hands together as they tingled. He swallowed although his mouth was dry. An eerie feeling engulfed him and caused him to look outside. He couldn't see anything but he could feel it. "Dean."

Dean turned. "What?"

"I have a bad feeling." Taylor said. He shook his hands out. "A really bad feeling."

"Talk to me." Dean said.

Taylor stared out the window, trying to see through the shadows. He touched the window with his palm and forehead.

Dean saw a flash of light and felt a jolt of electricity. He stumbled and groaned. He looked at Taylor. "What was that?"

Andy was standing in the doorway of the kitchen and his eyes were as big as saucers.

Dean heard him whimper and turned around. "Andy?"

Andy ran to him and hid his face in Dean's chest. "I didn't know lightning could come inside. Am I gonna get shocked?"

Dean picked him up. He called Taylor's name. "Taylor, was that lightning?"

Taylor was struggling to contain that level of electricity. He wrapped his arms around himself. "Yeah."

"Are you okay?"

Taylor stepped back. "Don't touch me yet."

"How could that have happened?" Dean asked.

Taylor wasn't sure if he brought it to him or if it had sought him out. He saw something in the flash and it terrified him.

Dean could see that Taylor was off. "Andy, can you check on your mom and brother? Your dad wanted an update."

Andy let go of Dean and ran off to find his mom.

Taylor took deep breaths. "I think Karen, April, and the boys need to hang out in the panic room."

Dean snapped his fingers to get Taylor to look at him. "What is going on?"

"I don't know. I saw something. I'm going to find Kate. Please just get them down there. Just tell Andy that there is a tornado warning." Taylor said.

Dean told Karen and April that they needed to go downstairs. "I don't know what is going on yet. It is just best that you take the boys. It is getting late anyway."

Ian woke up and was instantly fussy again.

April gathered the boys' stuff and followed Dean to the door for the panic room. She slowly climbed down the ladder and helped Dean get Ian down the ladder as well. She looked around. The room was big enough to be comfortable. They could sleep through the night just fine.

Andy heard Ian crying. "Can I have ear plugs?"

Dean ruffled his hair. He grabbed some from the weapons closet. "There, everyone can have some."

Karen was the last to go down. She asked Dean what was happening.

"I don't know. We are working off a gut feeling." Dean said.

Taylor ran up the steps and opened the bedroom door. He shook Kate. "Get up."

Kate opened her eyes. She met Taylor's eyes and swallowed hard.

"Where were you?" Taylor asked.

"Scrying," Kate said.

Taylor started to say something but Dean entered the room.

"Do either of you have a good idea of what we are dealing with?" Dean asked.

Kate traded looks with Taylor.

"Sam and Caleb are both on the road. Dad and Bobby are at the facility. That leaves me here trying to protect all of you. So cooperation would be great." Dean said.

Kate scratched at her leg. "She is here."

Dean sat down on her bed. "Hellen?"

"Yes, but there is something darker out there," Kate said.

"I sent Sam and Jess out into that. What do you mean?" Dean asked.

"They are safe. Right now, everyone is okay." Kate said.

Dean cleared his throat.

"I scried," Kate said.

"Up here by yourself?" Dean asked.

Kate gave him sheepish smile.

If Dean wasn't so relieved that Sam and Jess were okay, he would have had a lot more to say. "So is that a storm out there? Taylor, was that normal lightning?"

"I'm not possessed," Taylor said.

"I didn't think you were but what is up with the electricity?" Dean asked.

"I don't know," Taylor said. "It has to mean something more than just being able to zap you when I want to."

Dean snorted. "Yeah, you are dead if you do that again."

Kate stood up. "I know she is out there."

"So is she a ghost?" Dean asked.

"I don't know." Kate said. "Like I said, there is something worse."

Dean told them both to go downstairs. "If it is a demon, ghost, or angel, it can't get in here."

Trees outside started to sway from the force of the wind. The sign for the salvage yard was ripped from its posts and the shop doors whined and creaked.

Taylor ran to the window. "Try to call dad."

Dean's phone just beeped. "Kate, can you do your thing?"

Kate tried to focus on John but she was met with a solid wall of darkness. "I can't."

Dean ordered them to double up on the salt lines. He told Taylor to check on the kids. He opened the weapons cabinet and surveyed what they had. Whatever was out there was likely demon related. No normal demon could get past the warding on the perimeter of the trees. Well, if the wind broke the trees, they could. He called Kate and Taylor into the kitchen. "Tell me everything you know."

"Hellen is out there. If we don't do something, the whole house is going to cave in." Kate said.

"Wait. Kate, look at me. You need to freeze right where you are." Dean said.

Kate met his eyes. "Dean, I can scry. I can go back and look at what is out there."

Dean placed both palms on the table and looked at her with narrowed eyes. "Who all did you scry on, Katelyn?"

Kate swallowed. She started to speak but the wind howled louder and cut her off.

Taylor saw black smoke through a flash of light. "I don't think that is just one demon."

"We could exorcise them or at least get them away from the house." Dean said.

"Yeah and then they'd come right back." Kate said.

Dean could see the darkness engulfing the salvage yard. He wondered how long the trees would hold. One broken sigil would be enough to let in all kinds of evil. The house had layers of protection but he wasn't sure how long demons would wait. He didn't want Caleb driving into the mess of demons and darkness. They had no way to warn him. He was an excellent hunter so he would notice something was off but it was still dangerous.

Kate heard whispering in her head and froze.

Dean saw Kate's face go blank and gently shook her. "Stay with me, kid."

Kate didn't respond right away. She was delayed. "What?"

"Where were you?" Dean asked.

"I heard something." Kate said. She looked down at her feet.

"What did you hear?" Dean asked.

"Her voice, calling me, taunting me." Kate said.

"You cannot give into it." Dean said, firmly.

"You don't understand. If I do not do something, they will eventually leave but they will go for Caleb and Bobby and dad and Sam and Jess. Everyone not in this house will die." Kate said.

Dean swallowed. "They have warding too."

"I have the abilities to fix this." Kate said, taking a step toward the door.

Dean narrowed his eyes. "Katelyn, don't you dare."

Kate took another step. "I'm sorry."

Dean lunged to grab her but she was already gone. He punched the wall. "God dammit!"

Taylor flinched.

"Where did she go?" Dean asked.

Taylor felt terror running through his veins. "I don't know."

"Do your thing, get her back here." Dean said. He tried to open the door but it was being held shut by some kind of force.

Taylor tried to reach out to Kate but she was blocking him or whatever was outside was blocking him.

The wind died down to a swift breeze. The darkness didn't leave though.

Kate stepped out into the darkness, her heart making it difficult to hear. She had been there before. She knew she had. She saw movement and then made eye contact with Hellen. "For a charred corpse you get around just fine."

Hellen glared at her. "You insolent little brat."

Kate had to remain confident although her legs wanted to give out. "Why are you here? Why are you attacking Sam's girlfriend's parents? It all seems petty."

Hellen got closer to Kate. "You must pay for what you did."

Kate felt her chest growing tight. "Wouldn't you say what I did was payment for what you did?"

Hellen growled. "I don't know if I should kill your family and make you watch or if I should kill you first."

Kate clenched her fists. "Or I could kill you... again. Are you a ghost? You aren't human."

Hellen used a spell in her head to make Kate cough up blood. "I am powerful. I can do just as much damage without my body."

Kate hissed and wiped her mouth. "Yeah, so can I." She held her hand out and sent Hellen stumbling back several feet.

"Looks like you learned a few new tricks." Hellen said.

Kate held her back. "You have no idea." Something broke her connection and caused her hold to fade. She braced herself as Hellen ran at her and held out her wrist that had an iron ring on it.

Hellen hit the iron and growled. She lifted Kate off of the ground and used her other hand to place over her mouth and nose.

Kate bit into Hellen's hand. She drove her foot into Hellen's chest and hit the ground. On instinct, she swung her arm and extended her hand. There was a crackling sound and then she saw everything that Hellen had done. She saw her village and killing her father. She saw the years and years that she hunted the singer family. She pulled her hand back.

Hellen blinked rapidly. "How did you do that?"

Kate had all that she needed. She couldn't taunt Hellen and continue to put her family at risk. She made the same movement that she had with the hellhound and disintegrated Hellen's form.

The darkness went away, giving a clear view of the moon and stars. The wind stopped and the door opened. Dean ran out the door. He could see Kate out by the shop but something stopped him.

Kate turned her head and saw Dean. She could see the mix of emotions on his face and she felt horrible. She heard another voice and spun around.

Abaddon clapped sarcastically. "Well done, Katie. I knew you had it in you." She flicked her eyes to Dean. "These men are holding you back. You are far more powerful than you know and I think someone ought to let you know what you can do."

Kate stepped back. "Who are you?"

"You know who I am, silly, you saw me through Hellen's eyes." Abaddon said.

Kate nodded. "Abaddon." She could feel the evil seeping off of Abaddon. "What is your deal with my family?"

"Oh, sweetie. Your family and I go way, way back. I'm sure you saw some of that. However, they have been a thorn in my side." She waved her hand toward the house. "Imagine my excitement when I found out that the Winchesters and the Singers were back together again. How could I pass up such an opportunity?"

Kate was still missing a lot of information that Hellen didn't know. "Did you make the deal with Martha?"

Abaddon grinned. "Yes, I did."

"Why?" Kate asked.

Abaddon approached her and tilted her chin. "No, honey. You don't get to ask why. I am far too old and far too powerful to stop and explain everything to a child."

Kate shoved her back. "The child you have been stalking. Surely you have better things to do."

Abaddon snarled. "I've come to collect you. I know we got off on the wrong foot but really, you will be so much more once you are out from under the thumb of these neanderthals."

"I'm not going anywhere," Kate said.

Abaddon stepped back. "I could always collect the boy instead."

Kate's eyes flashed. "Leave Taylor out of this."

"Oh, no. Taylor is interesting, I'll give him that. He just doesn't have any demon in him so why would I want him?"

Kate realized that she meant Ian. "Who do you mean then?"

"The adorable little half-breed that you all have been hiding from us," Abaddon said.

Kate managed to get a brief thought to Taylor.

Taylor received the message and hurried down the stairs. He cloaked Ian with his own abilities and encased the room in a shield.

"If you are talking about the baby, he is just a baby. Azazel tried to experiment on him but he is no different than any of the other people Azazel messed with." Kate said.

Abaddon clicked her tongue and walked a circle around Kate. "You know, I don't like liars."

"I don't like demons." Kate said.

Abaddon grabbed her arm. "You will go with me and then I will return. Anyone that I find useful will be taken. The others will be burned. If you fight me, imagine the look on those boys' faces if their brand new dad gets stripped limb from limb in front of them."

Kate snapped, hitting Abaddon with a blow that rattled the surrounding cars. She slid as Abaddon hit her back. She made eye contact with Abaddon and smirked.

Dean was still frozen in place but the sound of hounds chilled his blood. He tried to move but Abaddon still had him stuck.

Crowley appeared within a few feet of Kate. His eyes grew wide. "Bollocks."

Abaddon saw the hounds and knew she was outnumbered, however powerful she may be.

Crowley took the distraction of the hounds and instantly sent Abaddon back to hell.

Dean stumbled as the invisible hold broke. He pulled out his gun and had it promptly snatched from his hand.

Crowley held his hand out. "I would like a moment to speak to your sister. Juliette, darling, keep an eye on our friend."

Dean's hair bristled as he felt hot breath on the back of his arm. He swallowed and prayed that Kate would be able to get away.

Crowley got into Kate's personal space. "I'm impressed by your little trick. Have me show up to fight your battles because I think Abaddon is a bit of a bitch as well. You are crafty but quickly becoming an issue for me. I am feeling charitable so I will let Dean over there live. One day I will expect you to repay the favor."

"I'm not making a deal." Kate said.

Crowley tweaked her nose. "Yes, you will. You always do. If you do, we become great friends. If you don't you watch everyone you've ever loved be torn to shreds."

Kate swallowed.

Crowley shoved his hands in his pockets. "Not today. Just one day I'll find you and we will have a nice chat." He snapped whistled and three sets of pawprints kicked up splatters of water as they ran through the puddles in the yard.

Dean hit his knees when the demon was gone. He quickly got back on his feet and grabbed Kate, crushing her in a hug. He got her inside and checked her over, turning her around a few times and looking into her eyes.

"I'm okay." Kate said.

Dean gave her a stern look. "For now. What the hell were you thinking?"

"They are gone." Kate said.

"You left after being told how many times to stay?"

"Dean, everyone was going to die. I am barely phased. Hellen is gone. Abaddon is gone for now." Kate said.

Dean hugged her again. "Do you have any idea how it felt, knowing you were out there alone? You went toe to toe with not one but two demons. Kid, that was terrifying."

"Seeing visions of you dying was also terrifying." Kate countered.

He called Taylor upstairs. "Are all evil things gone?"

Taylor looked outside. "Yes. Ian calmed down and is asleep now."

Dean nodded. "Have them come upstairs. There is no reason to sleep in that tiny room."

Kate sniffled as she smelled copper. She turned her head and used her shirt to dab at the blood.

Dean saw her out of the corner of his eye. "Is that a nose bleed?"

(John and the others)

Sam parked by John's truck. He sent John a message and waited until he gave him the 'all clear' to go inside. He held Jess's hand and reminded her that she was safe.

Jess was shakey. Part of her was numb but, mostly she was scared. She trusted them enough to not worry about her safety but the unknown terrified her. She had a few run ins with the supernatural like the demon that showed up at their apartment and the whole ordeal with Kate's spell. Would her mother be human? She was a monster but would she look different?"

Bobby set up the spell in the same room that Ross was in. "Just hang in there and we will get your soul back."

"I don't want it back." Ross said, blandly.

"Yeah, you do. You want to grow old and see your grandbabies be born. You want to get your head on right and support your daughter." Bobby said. He drew a sigil. "You may not think so now but you will."

John opened the door to Martha's room. He gave her a cold look and then stepped to the side so that Jess could enter.

Martha smiled. "Jessica, it is so good to see you."

"Stop." Jess said. "You can't charm your way out of this. I know what you did." She remained calm as Martha told her about 'Abigail', the person who gave her the spell. She leaned on Sam for strength as Martha told her about the money issues and why she decided that the plan would be okay.

"He is going to gamble himself to death anyway. This way, I got something out of it." Martha said.

Jess crossed her arms. "This was over money issues? You spend money all the time. God, mom. No, Martha. You aren't my mother. You are messed up. You stole his soul. You made a deal with a demon. I can't wrap my head around it. I thought that maybe she tricked you. In a way she did but you took her up on the offer because you were angry at dad."

Sam held her as she cried. "Why do you treat Jess like you do?"

Martha laughed. "She's always been whiny. I wish she had gone with us."

Sam kept Jess from hitting Martha. "Are you done?"

Jess nodded. She stepped away from Martha and then turned her back.

Martha was uncomfortable. She wanted to talk more. "Wait until I tell you about the things I can do."

Jess slowly turned to face Martha. "No. I don't want to know. You aren't going to brag about this. I don't care. Sam, tell John I'm ready."

Sam put an arm around Jess and walked her into the hallway. "Dad, Jess is done."

John put a hand on Jess's shoulder and squeezed. "Should we continue with the plan?"

Jess nodded. "Do what you need to do."

Twenty minutes later, John found Sam and Jess. "It is done."

Jess started shaking and broke down. "Are they..."

"Martha is gone. We need to make a decision on what to do. Ross is alive and would like to speak to you." John said.

Jess shook her head. "I can't."

"Do you want me to make the decision about Martha? We need a story that explains her not returning from the cruise." John said.

Jess nodded. "Yes, please. I don't care."

John left Sam to comfort Jess. He spoke to Bobby and then called Castiel. As far as the cruise line would be concerned, Martha would have died in her bunk from a heart attack.

Sam got a call from Dean and answered it.

Jess paced in front of Ross's door. Would it be too painful to talk to him? She bit her lip and slowly opened the door. "Dad?"

Ross looked up. "You are alive."

"Yes. You are too." Jess said.

Ross looked worn down. "They told me."

"So you know that Martha stole your soul?" Jess asked.

"Yes." Ross said.

"What are you going to do? Are you just going to go back home? She said that there were money issues." Jess said.

Ross snapped. "That is none of your business!"

Jess's eyes flooded. "After everything that has happened, yes it is."

Ross scoffed. "If you hadn't run off to be with that boy, none of this would have happened."

Jess felt her blood pool to her feet. She had hoped that the experience would mend their relationship. She turned to run from the room and hit John. She felt arms wrap around her and crush her into one of those hugs that good parents give. The kind that held you together when you were torn to shreds. The kind that, for just a minute, made her forget that her life had been flipped upside down.

John got her out of the room and shut the door. He called out for Sam.

Sam ran around the corner. "Jess?"

John let Jess go and ran his knuckles down the side of his hip. "Ross didn't have the reaction we were hoping for."

Sam slid down the wall so that he could hold Jess. "What are we going to do?"

"It is up to Jess. I would have his memory wiped and toss him back on the ship. He wouldn't remember anything about this." John said.

Jess sobbed into Sam's shirt.

Sam met John's eyes and nodded.

"I want to go home." Jess said.

Sam rubbed her back. "Are you sure you are ready?"

Jess pulled her hair back. "No." Her face turned red. "I mean.. Bobby's house."

Sam instantly understood. "I need to talk to my dad first."

Jess curled further into his lap.

Sam moved the hair from her face. "It can wait, I think."

John helped Bobby with clean up and thanked Castiel for his assistance. He found Sam and Jess still sitting on the floor. He crouched down. "Everything is done."

Jess sniffled. "Thank you."

"I've health with Taylor, Kate, Dean, and even Sam in situations like this. You handled it well." John said, softly.

Jess gave him a slight smile. "I'll have to fly off the handle next time."

John chuckled. "Let's hope there isn't a next time."

Sam grimaced. "That being said, Dean called."

John's face darkened. "She left didn't she?"

"Well, uh, there seems to be more to the story." Sam said.

Jess stiffened.

"Did Dean happen to tell you that story?" John asked.

"Not all of it. Demons showed up." Sam said.

John stood up and called Dean. "Report."

Dean told him what happened.

"Put Kate on the phone."

Kate slowly put the phone to her ear. "Dad?"

"Did I tell you to stay in the house?"

"Yes, but."

"Dean told me. He also told me that you left the house as he was telling you not to." John said.

Kate licked her lips. "I was protecting everyone. You said not you and Bobby. This was everyone else."

John could tell that she was hiding something. He made sure that Sam and Jess were okay and headed back to Sioux Falls. He handed Bobby the keys to his truck and motioned for him to drive it back. "How did you manage to get them away?"

Kate stammered. "Well... I uh.. "

John asked Castiel to come back. "Katelyn."

"C.. crowley." Kate said.

Dean heard the front door to the house slam and heavy footsteps ascending the stairs.

Kate dropped the phone and went pale as John swung the bedroom door open.

"Crowley?"

Kate scooted herself farther up on the bed, away from John. She glanced at Dean, who wasn't fully aware of what she had done. "He doesn't like Abaddon either."

Dean started to think what John was thinking. "Did you make a deal with him?"

Kate squeaked. "Not exactly."

John could see the fight or flight look on her face. He stepped toward her. "Do not zip out of here."

Dean blinked and they were gone. He angrily rubbed his face and stomped down the stairs. "I need a damn drink."

Taylor had been downstairs when John stormed in. He looked at Dean with wide eyes. "Where are Kate and dad?"

Dean opened a beer bottle. "I don't know but we may not have a sister when he gets back."
