Summary: 20 contestants battle it out on a private resort in a tropical paradise hosted by the amazing Chris McLean, and his assistant, Chef Hatchet. In a brand new season of twists and turns, who will walk away with the prize?
We don't owe Total Drama, only our OCs.
Fantastic Flamingos: Joseph, Abigail, Brittany, Jerusha, Fernando, Dante, and Lucille
Pretty Peacocks: Rebekah, Ilyria, Lin, Butch, Walter, and Demetrius
"Last time on Total Drama Hawaiian Resort, we had special guests come and sing some songs that are related to the remaining contestants! It was the Flamingos who won the challenge, and Antonio desperately tried to convince his team of what he saw the previous night with Demetrius and Walter to be true, only to therefore be eliminated by his team, who didn't believe a word he said. With the soccer player gone, we're down to 13 contestants left." Chris said.
"Will the teams survive today's challenge?" Alexis continued. "Find out, on this dramatic episode of…Total!"
"Drama!" Chris continued.
"HAWAIIAN RESORT!" the two let out together.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
You asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Whistling in tune)
Episode 10: Escape of Doom
Ilyria
The British spy would be on her high tech spy phone, muttering to herself. "I can't believe it…" she let out. "I can't believe that bloody wanker was able to ambush most of my team…" The people she was talking about were Sarah and Kayla Westbrook, a pair of twins who were identical, with dark brown hair, and light green eyes. Sarah usually wore an aquamarine catsuit, while Kayla wore a purple catsuit. The others were Skylar Hale, a red-haired genius who wore a teal catsuit, and she had blue eyes. The fourth girl was named Tamara, and she was a Latina, who wore a gold catsuit. She was thankful that 3 of her teammates managed to get away, so she was relieved that some of them would be able to help. But now, she was more determined than ever to get her teammates back. She sighed, as she would go to the door, but noticed that it was locked from the inside. "McLean, you are so toast…"
Brittany and Abigail
"What the hell are you talking about, Kristopher?" Brittany demanded as she was on her phone.
"I'm so sorry, boss, but Mr. Blackburn was able to ambush us, and get Zachariah and Vincent!"
"Thank goodness his ex doesn't know about it…" Brittany muttered to herself.
"Yeah, thanks to that restraining order he was given," the older man sighed. "But please, be careful when you ambush Mr. Blackburn."
"Oh don't worry. I'll make sure of it," Brittany vowed, as she hung up the phone.
Abigail would come into the room, a bit confused, as she had been washing up and getting ready for the day when she heard her roommate on the phone. "Um, are you okay?" she asked her roommate.
"I'm peachy," Brittany replied. "Come on, let's get to breakfast." She would approach the door, but it would be locked from the inside. "What the hell is going on?!"
"I dunno, but I'm scared," Abigail let out, as she saw Avalanche growling a bit. "Nice doggy…"
"Are you scared?" Brittany smirked.
"With that dangerous dog? A little," the former child star admitted.
"Oh, you don't have to worry, she won't attack you," the mob boss smirked.
"Oh, thank goodness," Abigail let out, relieved. "But I'm thinking the locked door must mean we have another ridiculous challenge from Chris."
"Oh, I know," Brittany groaned.
Lucille and Jerusha
The wheelchair bound girl would wake up, yawning. It had been such a perfect night, and she was ready for a brand new day. She would get dressed in something comfortable, consisting of a t-shirt, with comfortable jeans, white socks, and white running shoes; just in case the challenge would be very messy. "Morning, Jerusha!"
The magician stretched and groggily got out of bed. "Good morning…"
"Ready for another day?" Lucille asked, as she tied her hair back into a ponytail.
"I'll be ready as soon as I get some breakfast in me. A nice, warm cup of coffee sounds really good right now."
"I'm really hoping for a nice Earl Gray tea," Lucille let out. "I'm not a coffee drinker."
"Well, to each their own." Jerusha shrugged, finishing up her morning routine and going to open the door until… "Huh? It's locked!"
"What the?" Lucille let out. "Oh my god…this is bad, right?"
"Ugh, if this turns out to be another challenge…" The magician girl groaned.
"I think it is," Lucille sighed. "Just fantastic."
Joseph and Dante
The team captain had already woken up and gotten dressed. He looked over at Dante with a stoic sense of confusion on his face. He wasn't sure why, but Dante had been acting completely different for a few days now.
When he had first been moved onto the Flamingo team he looked like a nervous wreck, especially in their shared room. But that fear and hesitation was completely gone now. All that remained was this cold silence between the two. Joseph turned to the door and tried opening it, only to find that it was locked.
Hearing the turning of the knob, Damiano turned to his roommate.
"Locked?" He asked.
"Looks like it." Joseph answered. "Did you do something?"
"Not yet." Damiano shrugged. "But, in the worst case scenario, we bust the door down."
"Hmph, didn't think you'd go there." Joseph commented.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you seem a lot different from when you first came to this team."
"Well, what can I say? I guess I've gotten used to everyone now."
Joseph gave the boy an unreadable look which Damiano gave right back at him…
Walter and Demetrius
Demetrius had already gotten ready, and would be heading to the door, noticing that it was locked from the inside. "Ugh. Looks like one of McLean's awful challenges…"
"Do you have a plan?" Walter asked.
"I think we need to wait for further instructions from McLean," Demetrius responded. "We can't go in blindly."
"I see. Do you think Butch will be able to follow those orders?"
"Think? I know he can," Demetrius smirked. "You and him are the strongest members on this whole show. Aside from Joseph on the opposing team."
"While that is true, are you worried that that spy might somehow get to him? You did ask him to seduce her after all."
"Hah! While she's distracted with that, she should worry even more, as you and Butch aren't the only henchmen I have…" Demetrius grinned wickedly.
"I see, well I suppose for now we should reconvene with Butch and you can let us know of our next move."
Demetrius nodded. "And now, we wait for further instructions from that host…"
Butch
The brute stretched one more time as he finished getting ready for the day.
'Where's Antonio?' He thought to himself. 'Figured he'd still be giving me an earful after last night. Oh well, at least I get some peace and quiet, he's probably getting breakfast anyway.'
Butch reached for the doorknob, his brows furrowing when he realized it was locked.
"Come on…" He grumbled. "Antonio, did you lock me in?!"
With a growl, the brute tried opening the door, even pushing himself against it to force it open.
"If this is about last night, it wasn't anything personal, dude! … Come on, if you're there at least say something!"
After another minute of silence, Butch was now frantically trying to force the door open and pounding his fist on it to try getting someone to unlock it. The fact that the door did not break right off its hinges was, in and of itself, a miracle. As the pounding continued, Butch began yelling obscenities in frustration.
Part of Butch began to worry about what Walter and Demetrius would do if they Butch did not check in with them. Another part also knew Illyria would give him an earful if he wasn't there in the dining room to get breakfast either…
Lin
The silent morning came as a surprise to the street urchin as she got up and got ready. Terra's absence was an immediate red flag to her and if she was gone, something was definitely up.
As she reached for the doorknob and found the door to be locked, some of her confusion faded.
"So that's how it is." She huffed.
Rebekah
The tomboy would get ready, and realize that the door was locked. She huffed in annoyance, but sighed. "Looks like it's a challenge. Simple enough. I hope…" she let out to herself.
Fernando
The male model woke up and removed his facemask to find that he was alone in his room. Simply assuming he must have already gone to get breakfast and stay by the Pool, Fernando got up and prepared for the day.
He couldn't explain it though, something felt… off, more than Dante's strange behavior at least. As he finished his morning routine, Fernando reached for the doorknob which was, of course, locked.
"Ah, is this why you've been acting so strange?" Fernando asked. "Those smirks you've been sending my way have been a sign you wanted to get back at me, right Dante?"
Just like Butch before him, Fernando was met with silence.
"Well I won't be stopped so easily!" He announced, pushing against the door in a feeble attempt at opening it. "I… am better… than you!"
"Ah, I see that you've found yourselves in a sticky situation!" Chris announced on the loudspeaker. "Here's the deal: you've been locked in your rooms. In order to get out, you have to find something other than a key to pick the lock. Once you've done that, you have to find your teammates, and make it down to the elimination area quickly. The first team to do so will win! GO!" the host shouted, using an air horn to start the challenge.
Ilyria
"Ha. Simple." the spy smirked, reaching into her hair, and pulling out a bobby pin, and using that to pick the lock on her door. Moving it around the lock for a bit, there would soon be a click, and the lock would fall to the ground.
Butch
"Something other than a key… Does this mean I can break the door down?"
"Well, sure, but we'll have to get people to repair it, so don't break it too hard," the host responded.
"By 'people' he means us!" Johan called out, referring to himself and Chef.
"Got it…" Butch said softly to himself. He turned away from the door and looked out of the window for a moment in silence… before immediately rushing towards the door and tackling it with his shoulder at full force. The impact rattled the door off its hinges for a moment, but the barrier remained firm.
"Well, it's a start!" The brute commented before placing a hand on his shoulder. "Ow…"
*Confessional*
Butch: "So I'm not exactly the super-spy type like Ilyria is, and my room is pretty high up. Jumping down would probably kill me so I figured busting the door down was the next best thing."
*End Confessional*
As Ilyria made her way down the hall, she saw Butch's room. "Need a hand?" she called into the door. "I've got something other than a key to pick the lock."
"Nah!" Butch called out. "I've got it! Watch!"
Ilyria rolled her eyes. "Oh, you wanker, don't hurt yourself!" The spy was met with silence before a heavy bang rattled the door again, nearly knocking it off its hinges as the inside of the room became visible.
"Oh just step away!" Ilyria sighed, using her bobby pin to pick the lock, and upon hearing the click, the lock would fall harmlessly to the ground. The spy opened the door and stepped out of the way as Butch charged right past her and ran right into the wall, knocking himself flat on his rear.
"Ugh…" He groaned as he looked up at Ilyria, who was giving him a frustrated look. "Thanks…"
"That's what teammates are for, right?" Ilyria held out her hand to him which he took.
"Right… So what do we do now? Are we gonna help everyone else or should we wait for them to help themselves?"
"We can go see if they need help, and offer it, then make our way down with the rest of our team," Ilyria responded.
"Cool, so where do we start?"
"How about our captain's room?" Ilyria suggested.
"Alright, let's check on her then."
Jerusha and Lucille
"We need something other than a key…" Lucille let out, looking over at Jerusha. "Any ideas?"
"Well I can't use this then…" Jerusha sighed, tossing aside a key with a skull on the end. "That skeleton key has opened every lock I've tried it on. Other than that I would try something like a bobby pin or even a coat hanger.
"A coat hanger works perfectly!" Lucille exclaimed.
"Then all we need to do is untwist the top portion of it and then use it just like you would a bobby pin! My dad did that to teach me some of his tricks!"
Lucille would reach for a coat hanger, taking it out of the closet. It was one of those old wire ones, as she managed to remove the top portion. "Would you like to do the honors of removing the lock Jerusha?" she asked.
"Why, thank you!" The magician replied, easily unlocking the door and allowing the two girls to exit.
"Let's take this with us, so we can help our team," Lucille said.
Demetrius and Walter
"Something other than a key…" the hypnotist muttered to himself.
"Would you like me to tear the door off its hinges? That should pose little to no difficulty for me."
"Very well," Demetrius nodded, stepping away from the door. "Go right ahead."
Walter stepped up to the door and grabbed the doorknob with one hand, the other getting as good of a hold as he could on the hinge. With all his might and a grunt of power, Walter used as much energy as he could to pull at the door.
Demetrius stood with a rather unimpressed look on his face until he heard the cracking of wood coming from the door. The hypnotist stepped back a bit more as he began seeing the light of the hallway begin to creep into the room. With one last shout, Walter completely ripped the door away from the wall and tossed it aside as he looked back at his roommate, a bit out of breath but perfectly fine.
"There…" He said. "...It's done!"
"Impressive. I'm glad I chose you as the first member of my alliance!" Demetrius smirked.
*Confessionals*
Chef: "What the hell does that kid eat?!"

Johan: *Johan enters the confessional holding a pillow and brings it up to his face before screaming into it before finishing and looking at the camera with a completely serious look.* "I hate this show…"

Fernando
The model looked around his room rather calmly for an idea or inspiration as to how he could escape.
"Hmm…" He hummed to himself. "I could use something like a pin or a coat hanger to get myself out of this mess… But I also know my team wouldn't just leave me in here. Especially not Abigail."
A wicked grin grew on Fernando's face as he took a book out from his bag and lay back down on his bed as he began to read.
Brittany and Abigail
The mob boss would easily use a bobby pin that Abigail had, and would use that to unlock the door. "There. Let's go and get Fernando out first."
"Well, alright," Abigail nodded, as Avalanche would trail after her mistress.
Lin
The street urchin calmly and quickly opened the window and began climbing out onto the balcony before looking down at the ground below. It was much too high for her land safely on the ground without hurting herself.
Regardless, she climbed over the railing and slowly climbed down to the bottom portion. Eventually, she was in a position where she was effectively hanging from the floor on the other side of the edge. Carefully, she swung her legs and let go, her momentum causing her to land on the balcony of the room directly underneath her own, which was empty. As she looked back over the railing to the ground, she hummed to herself.
'One down, about… five or six more to go. Easy.'
Rebekah
The tomboy huffed, using her pocket knife, which had multiple settings on it to pick the lock, making her way out of the room with ease. "Easy."
Fernando
The mob boss and the former child star made it to the male model's room.
"Hold on, Fernando, we're getting you out!" Abigail let out, as Brittany used the bobby pin to pick the lock. The male model calmly walked over to the door, putting on the best worried expression he could fake as he heard the click of the lock and opened the door.
"Oh thank goodness!" He exhaled, hugging Abigail the moment he saw her. "Thank you for getting me out, my dear, sweet Abigail!"
Abigail blushed at this. "You're welcome, Fernando," she replied, hugging him back. Brittany silently scoffed at the affection before Fernando gave her a sly grin and a thumbs up.
"I'm gonna go on ahead. Don't take too long," she called out, before leaving with Avalanche trailing beside her.
Joseph and Dante
"So we're doing this then?" Damiano asked.
"Yup, I don't have the time or the patience to waste on using something else." The captain replied. Damiano smirked and let out a chuckle as the two boys approached the door. In one fluid motion, the two kicked the door right by the doorknob, breaking the door open while keeping it mostly still intact.
"Hmph, not bad." The Chief noted. "You've got some good power there."
"I'm not just some scrawny kid." Damiano replied before walking away. Joseph's impressed grin soon dropped into a fiercely calculating frown.
'Yeah.' He thought. 'You're much stranger than that.'
"Joseph!" Lucille's voice would be heard, as she and her roommate wheeled down the hallway. "Thank goodness you're alright!"
"Yeah, of course I am. Glad to see you two made it out alright, did you check on the others?"
"We can double check to make sure they're all out. Care to join us?" Lucille smiled. Joseph hummed to himself before nodding.
"Sure." He said. "But we should hurry."
"It shouldn't take us too long," Lucille said.
"Then let's go!" Jerusha urged.
Butch and Ilyria
The two managed to make it to Lin's room. "Lin? Are you in there?" the spy called out. They had already found their captain out of her room, and she was going down the stairs to make it to the lobby.
"Nothing." The brute shrugged. "Either she's already out or she's giving up."
"I don't think she would give up. Perhaps she decided to go out another way," Ilyria replied. "Let's go down to the lobby. Maybe she's already there?"
"Let's hope so." The brute shrugged. "If she's not then that's on her."
Ilyria gave a frustrated sigh once more, as she walked on ahead.
Walter and Demetrius
The two would be walking down to the lobby in silence. "So, you're an only child?" Demetrius asked.
"I am. My father raised me to be as strong as I could because of that. It instilled a great sense of determination and discipline in me!"
"I see. It was just me and my father growing up," Demetrius said simply. "My mother left my father when I was five. It was very tough."
"I see… but you thrived!"
"Yes. I did," Demetrius nodded. "I believe we're almost at the lobby."
Abigail and Fernando
The two would be making their way down to the lobby. "Thank goodness you're alright!" the former child star let out, glancing at the male model.
"Well, it was rather stressful being in that situation, I wasn't prepared for a challenge like this."
"It's Chris McLean. We have to be prepared for anything," the former child star sighed at this, before noticing Dante. "Hey, it's Dante! I'm glad he made it out!"
Fernando scowled again as he watched Abigail hurry over to his enemy.
"Dante, I'm so glad you're okay!" Abigail let out, as she glanced over at the tall boy, who gave her a blank look for a moment before smiling at her.
"Oh, I'm fine, this challenge was easy, thanks to Joseph at least!"
"I'm glad to hear it," Abigail reached up to kiss his cheek. "Wanna head down to the lobby together with Fernando and I?"
"Sure, I…" Damiano stopped himself as he glanced over at Fernando. "Actually, I think I'll head down on my own. I'll see you guys there."
Abigail was confused as she approached the male model again. "What was that all about?"
"I'm… not sure." Fernando replied, genuinely confused at the sight of Dante walking away.
*Confessional*
Damiano: "Ugh, as much as I need to stick to acting like Dante I couldn't stand the whole 'cutesy-couple' thing that those two have going on, even if it's obviously a lie. There's only so much one guy can take and I needed some time to myself!"
*End Confessional*
Pretty Peacocks
Ilyria, Rebekah, Butch, Walter, and Demetrius would soon be in the lobby. "Now, all that's left is Lin," the tomboy said. "Let's head to the elimination area, hopefully she's already there."
The team would make their way to the elimination area, where they had noticed Lin was already there, talking to Terra and Trish while Chris stood closeby, waiting for everyone else.
"Well, Peacocks, you're the first ones here! I guess that means you win! You'll get to choose a Flamingo to be eliminated right as soon as they get here."
Right on cue, the Flamingo team arrived at the pool, seeing that they were already too late.
"Aww, what?!" Jerusha groaned.
"Oh no!" Lucille sighed in disappointment.
"Flamingos, sucks to be you! Peacocks, huddle up, and choose one of them to be eliminated right now!" Chris announced.
"Wait." Joseph called out. "They're deciding who gets voted off? And it's happening now?!"
"Yup!" Chris grinned. "Because after this elimination, I'm making a special announcement!"
The Peacocks would huddle close together in a circle.
"Okay, so let's see…" Rebekah thought to herself. "Who do we pick?"
"Joseph's immune." Lin noted, casting a glance in the direction of the mobster. "So it needs to be someone else who's a major threat. I'm thinking of Brittany."
"I think Jerusha. She creeps me out," Demetrius said simply.
"Yes, and she's the one who pulled that gambit that made us lose the fear challenge!" Walter added.
"Agreed," Rebekah nodded. "Any objections?"
"I still think we should vote Brittany out." Lin said before sighing. "But majority rules, I guess."
The Peacocks turned back to Chris and the Flamingos. "We've decided to eliminate…Jerusha," Rebekah said. The magician gasped in shock before sinking to her knees.
"Why her?" Joseph asked, giving the Peacocks a confused look.
"She decided to pull that gambit which made us lose the fear challenge, and that was no good in our books," Rebekah shrugged. "Sorry."
"Yeah, if she could pull something like that, she could do something a lot more unpredictable." Butch added. Jerusha stood up with a sigh.
"And so the performance of the macabre magician comes to an end." She began. "You've been a lovely audience, but alas, I must go!"
Jerusha tossed a smoke bomb to the ground… as it cleared up she revealed that she had not moved at all and instead walked over to the other eliminated contestants, immediately giving Christopher a hug. Christopher smiled, hugging her back, while kissing her cheek.
"Now that that's out of the way…" Chris began. "Congratulations! The teams are officially merged! It's every person for themselves! You guys will be moving to a new location, still here on the resort! Go pack your stuff, and meet us down here asap!"
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe I made it to the merge!" Lucille let out, as she would go into the resort with her former team.
"Woah, the merge!" Terra gasped in awe as Trish squealed in amazement. "You did it, Lin Lin!"
"I wasn't expecting it this early, but this is where the real fun begins. I should probably go. I need to think about some things." The shorter girl said, walking back inside.
After everyone had packed up their belongings, they would make their way back to Chris, Chef, and Alexis, who would lead them all to a penthouse, the same penthouse that they saw when they had first arrived.
"Welcome to your new home for the remainder of the competition! Each room will fit one person, so go ahead, and pick your rooms, after we introduce a few special twists! The first twist is that the winner of each challenge moving forward will have the sole vote at the elimination ceremony," Chris began.
The teens all let out an assortment of gasps and other surprised reactions at this revelation.
"The second twist is the idols! You all know about the Chris McLean idol, which will nullify the vote against one person. We also have an Alexis idol, and a Chef Hatchet idol," the host continued.
"My idol will allow the holder to save the person who has gotten the sole vote, causing the immune person to have to choose someone else," Alexis grinned, before looking over at her uncle. "You can only use the Chris idol on yourselves, but for my idol, you HAVE to use it on another person."
"As for the one based on me." Chef began. "If ya' use it, ya' basically steal the vote from whoever won that challenge and get to pick who you want gone."
"I don't have an idol, because I'm apparently worth chopped liver." Johan grumbled.
"It's because you weren't here from the start of the show." Chris laughed.
"Don't," Alexis glared at him. "Well, with that said, you can all go choose your rooms, and we'll have the interns unpack your stuff and put it away. You guys are free to explore this penthouse, and have fun! As for the idols, they've been scattered all around the island so you'll need to really explore the island to find them whenever you're not doing the challenges!"
"Speaking of which, Chef and Johan, there are some doors that need fixing." Chris noted. The larger man sighed as he walked to the elevator, the younger musician audibly groaning as he followed Chef.
Fernando and Abigail
"I can't believe we both made it to the merge!" Abigail let out as she embraced Fernando. The two sat on a large couch within the penthouse, overlooking the beach.
"I can't believe it either, though it only makes sense for us to make it this far together!"
Abigail giggled, as she snuggled close to the male model as he draped his arm around her. The two watched the orange glow of the sunset as it draped along the waves.
"I wonder what's in store for us tomorrow?" Abigail asked, as she looked into Fernando's eyes.
"Whatever it is, my dear, I'm glad I'll be able to face it with you."
The former child star felt her cheeks turn pink, as she glanced up at his lips a bit shyly. The male model noticed her gaze and placed a gentle hand on her chin, pushing her head upwards a bit in order to meet her gaze before moving in closer and placing his lips upon hers.
Abigail's eyes would close as she melted into the kiss, wrapping her arms around the male model as she felt like fireworks were going off in her heart. The moment was cut short by the sound of a glass dropping…
Abigail gasped a bit at this, pulling away from the kiss. "What on earth?"
The two turned to see Dante, his eyes suddenly shifting back to the normal round shape as he looked at the two, the glass shards of a glass of juice at his feet.
"Dante?" Abigail let out.
With a heavy sigh, Dante turned away from the two and hurried back over to his room silently, slamming the door a bit.
"Oh dear…I think I should check on him…" Abigail frowned, about to get up from the couch.
"Y-yes, I'm sure he needs someone to talk to right now…" Fernando agreed, smirking to himself as he watched Abigail go.
Lucille and Joseph
The violinist would be watching the sunset from another part of the penthouse. It truly was beautiful.
"Hey." Joseph called out.
"Hey, Joseph," Lucille smiled at him. "Come join me."
The tribal chief sat down next to Lucille and looked out at the sight before them. "So…" He said "We made it to the merge."
"I know," Lucille smiled. "I'm surprised I made it this far. I thought I would be a goner on the first day."
"I'm not surprised either of us are here. I kind of figured we'd make it."
"How come?" Lucille turned to look at the tribal chief.
"Aside from my safety net as the team captain, I knew you'd be here with your ingenuity and firmness in your beliefs. I'd be able to make it through sheer force alone, but I needed something, or someone in this case, to keep me level-headed."
"And that's me?" Lucille felt her cheeks turn pink a bit.
"Yes. I mean, let's be honest, some of our team needed a bit of straightening out and help to keep on track of things. The only other person on our team who I could honestly say had the same general energy I carry is Brittany and… well, she's an enigma."
"Yeah, she does have a bit of that temper…" Lucille laughed a little. "Considering she's a mob boss and all."
"Still, if we keep doing what we're doing, we'll only go farther in this game. I mean… until…"
"One of us goes…" Lucille frowned, looking down at the ground a little.
"Yeah." Joseph continued. "And I don't have the safety of being team captain anymore, so I'm going to be giving every challenge 110% to make sure I don't lose."
"I'd be disappointed if you lose," Lucille admitted.
"Likewise." Joseph chuckled, ruffling the girl's hair a bit.
"Hey!" Lucille let out, as her hair was messed up. "Ugh, now I've got to fix it!" She would remove the elastic holding her hair up in its ponytail, causing her hair to fall to her chest, which made her look a bit more prettier than usual. Joseph could feel his own cheeks become flushed for a moment as he began to walk away.
"Sorry." He said. "I'll be heading out now. I'll see you later, yeah?"
"You don't have to go," Lucille looked at him. "I don't mind if you stay."
"I know. But there are some things I want to look into."
"Oh…" Lucille let out, a bit disappointed. "I see…"
"I'll be back soon. Promise." Joseph said as he entered the elevator.
Lucille would watch as the elevator door closed, as she saw the sun disappearing over the horizon.
Dante and Abigail
Abigail would knock on Dante's door. "Dante? Are you okay?" she called out, only to be met with silence as Dante sat by the window in his room, his eyes shifting back and forth between their normal shape and Damiano's diamond shaped eyes…
Joseph and Lin
The two teens stood in the elevator in silence as they slowly descended towards the lobby.
"You going after those idols?" Lin asked.
"Yeah, you?" Joseph replied.
"Mhmm… Y'know you can't protect her forever."
"I can try… At least until we get some of the tougher players out of the game."
"And who might those tough players be?" The shorter girl asked, glancing up at the chief.
"Demetrius has been really shady since day one. I can't explain why, but I'd feel better if he was out now. Him hanging out with Walter doesn't help and, as much as I hate to say it, I think Brittany needs to go, too."
"All solid choices. Wonder why I wasn't one of them." Lin noted.
"Do you want me to tell you I want you gone right to your face?" Joseph laughed.
"It'd feel good to know I'm a threat, especially to someone who's among those tough players themselves."
"Well, you are a lot trickier than you let on." Joseph smirked. "I expect you to be interesting to go against."
"Likewise."
With the ding of the elevator's bell, the two stepped out into the lobby and headed in opposite directions as they began to explore the island…
"We've officially hit the merge! Can't wait for the drama to unfold even more!" Alexis announced.
"And I can't wait for some of the interactions we'll get just like that last one! No more teams means these players really get a chance to talk amongst themselves! But with the three idols now in play, what will happen to the game now?!" Chris added with glee.
"Find out on the next dramatic episode of…Total!" Alexis began.
"Drama…!"
"HAWAIIAN RESORT!" the two let out together.

LaViolaViolaRosa: Well! That's certainly something!
Allureon: We've FINALLY gotten Fernando and Abigail to have their big kiss!
LaViolaViolaRosa: But sadly, I don't think their relationship is gonna last…that's all I'm gonna say. Hopefully Dante will be able to win the heart of the girl of his dreams! Now all that's left for couples are Joseph and Lucille!
Allureon: All that I'll add is that you can expect some BIG blow-ups when it comes to Abigail and Fernando's relationship! As for some of the others, I really liked writing the last ending bit between Lin and Joseph, and with the merge now here, expect some major plays from them and the others!
LaViolaViolaRosa: In the very first merge challenge, the 12 contestants will be transported into a video game, and be given different superpowers! Who'll win the first sole vote?
