Sunshine was hitting my face blinding me causing me to wake up.

I got up from the bed and wore my suit again. Hmm it's weird but I've been wearing the same thing for more than one week but they still don't smell. Eh it doesn't really matter, I quite like the simplistic design too.

Putting on my pants I exited my bedroom. While getting down stairs I turned towards the kitchen and looked through the window to check on the garden. Maybe I should buy some plants or even a pet?

Opening the fridge I remembered I did not buy any food. Seems like I will have to eat outside. Ah man, I miss home delivery now. Nothing I can do, let's just go out and I can think of it later.

Closing the fridge I summoned my cane and exited home. Locking the door there were two ways I would have gone. Before I could make a decision I heard a school's call for its students. Let's go there then. It's sad that no one apparently lives around here. I thought maybe they were out for work but they are still empty. It's quiet at least and makes it easy for me to come back here.

Walking towards the sound of the school's bell and turning for the last time, I was met with a lot of students entering the school grounds.

So this is highschool. Hmm Homurahara Academy academy huh. Not a bad name.

"Hello sir, i did not see you before. Are you new here?" Someone was calling to me. A female voice.

I turned back to see who was calling me. An orange haired girl past his twenties. "Ah yes, I just moved here yesterday actually. Didn't have the time to look around. My name is Maxwell, William Maxwell Carter."

"A european? Nice to meet you. I'm Fujimura Taiga, a teacher" A teacher, quite a young one at that.

"Oh, teacher. Well then it would be rude of me to block you for your class but before you go can you tell me a place I can get breakfast?"

"No problem. I don't have class right now so I can just show you the way Mister Carter. The closest one is still pretty far away from here so you can just eat at school if you don't mind." Mister Carter? ah yes, they did call others by their surnames. Eating at school though, I certainly don't mind it.

"It's fine by me but would it be really okay?" While I said this, we already started to walk towards the inside of the school. It was quite big, at least bigger than the school I went to. "Of course it's fine. There are a lot of people that eat at school and since i eat at home I can just give my portion to you."

It seems I will be troubling someone else again. Well they were the ones to propose it, let's not be rude.

We walked towards the inside of the school and we were greeted by a few students. "Good morning teacher!" Most of the students were greeting their teacher.

"You must be a good teacher."

"Thank you, I'll try my best!" She is also energetic. Good quality of a teacher. It's obvious she loves teaching as well.

"It's morning and you are still like this, Emiya" I turned back to the owner of the voice. A blue haired boy with two others.

"Matou please classes are starting soon" another blue haired one was calling out to others. This one was wearing classes and acting rather strict. Must be the class president.

"Ehh you guys are too dull" and with that the first boy entered the class. "Emiya, you should talk back to him, you know?" glasses one now turned red haired boy who scratched the back of his head "It's no problem really"

Glasses one sighed hearing that and I agreed with him. While I don't know the whole story from the outside, it does look like that first boy was talking to a red haired one really rude. Perhaps it's how younglings talk so I can't say much.

"Anyways Emiya, I need you to fix something after school again. I'm always bothering you but you are the best one around here." red one smiled upon that, i guess he must like fixing stuff "Sure leave it to me"

"Mister Carter are you coming" Ah yeah i almost forgot about it. I turned back to Teacher Taiga and closed the distance between us. "Ah you were listening to those guys. They are always like this, don't worry." So it was happening everyday. If there is still nothing done to it then it's not bullying.

"It's good to see younglings brimming with energy." she smiled at that. She apparently got the food while I was left behind too.

"Of course they are. I try to make them this energetic. You don't know but you see that red haired one. His name is Shirou Emiya. He is our helping hand around here also called fake school janitor. He also goes to the dojo so if there was ever a case of bullying he would be the one on top. Here by the way, if you face any problems you could always come and ask me. I know around here like the back of my hand."

Is he her brother? She seems especially happy talking about him. It doesn't really matter anyways.

"That's good to know. Thank you again. Do you know any good places to go around here then? I was planning to look around."

She was thinking about it while I started to eat. It's pretty good for a school meal.

"We did have a park before but it's not in good condition right now. There are shopping districts as well. How about this if you don't mind, you could also come to dinner and we can talk about these later."

"Well then I will take your offer but let's not do it today. How about at the end of the month?"

it seems she didn't mind and accepted it "Also you said a thing about a park. Can I know where it is? It does seem like an interesting place to visit." She seemed reluctant to answer that.

"I would really advise you to not go there. There are also some talks about how that place is cursed and such. It certainly does feel like it." This makes it even more interesting. "It's no problem. What you're saying only make it more interesting to me, so don't even try to discourage me now after you hyped it this much" she gave up after that and gave me the address

After another bell sound she got up saying she has class and bid me a farewell. Also wrote the address in case I would change my mind and go for dinner.

Finishing the meal I thanked the chef and got out of the school. It's indeed a good school. While I only had the chance to meet a single teacher, the student had quite the energy in them that my fellow student at my time didn't have. It's a good trait to have.

Slowly walking towards the given address I realized something which I should have asked before. She has written it as if i know the names around here. I'm completely lost

Hmm well I guess I shouldn't have passed the bridge. But Shito? where is it exactly?

After a while I completely stopped following the address and just walked around. After quite a while I saw a Church. Hmm well let's go ask people from there.

While I was approaching I saw a golden haired young man. He didn't exactly look like a priest but it's worth a shot.

"Hello young man, can I ask you a question?" This seemed to make him look at me but he seemed angry at me. Did I do something wrong?

"Young man? Are you perhaps senile old man? Atrocious! but I'm currently not in a bad mood so i will let you ask your question, old man." wow really rude

"Now now young man. I was just going to ask a question, no need to fire up this much. Being rude to your elders is not the nicest. We are also near a Church. While I don't follow their teaching it's still rude to disrespect it." this boy really needed someone to talk it to them

"... this old man must be really mad. You dare talk this towards the great Gilgamesh?!" He got really fired up with that. Am ı supposed to know him or something?

"Who? It doesn't really matter in the end who you are. Anyways young man it is apparent you do not wish to answer my question. Is there a priest inside?" I said and started to walk inside the church. There is no need to talk much more with this young man.

"You still DARE to call ME Young MA-" suddenly he tripped. He seemed confused about it. He really was going to harm me? Thankfully I made it so it won't kill the attacker. I don't want to kill a young man. They still have many things to see in their life.

"Wha.." He seemed to do something else but while trying to get up he tripped again.

Suddenly he seemed more angry than before and some kind of yellow lights appeared but they were gone the next moment. It was weird, are there some lights around here? I don't remember seeing them.

Ah he was bleeding a little. "Young man, please stop what you're doing. You're just hurting yourself"

"You Still DAR-" this time a twig scratched him. Normally it should have done nothing but he started to bleed. It was not serious nor a deep bleeding. Weird, that's some dark blood. He still seemed to be getting even more angry. A rock suddenly hit the back of his head which made him faint.

"Young Ma-" I was just about to reach out for him but a voice stopped me

"Hello sir, what can I do for you?" Somebody in a mostly black clotting and a cross . A priest

"Ah yeah, I was just asking a question and then this young man tried to do something but fainted in the middle of it." The priest butted in while I was talking "Sorry for his actions. He is still new around here and has a short fuse. I will be handling him so you can just ask your question." Hmm there was something wrong with what he said. If he is really new here at least he would carry or wear something related right? Maybe he just really doesn't want to be here. Short fuse part must be true too.

"Then Mister Priest you see I lost my way around here. I was supposed to go to some Park around here but since it's already late can you just tell me how I can go to the Academy?"

"You have rather walked far away from where you were supposed to go. You first need to pass the bridge than walk rather straightforward…" He started explaining to me how I can go back.

Let's just listen to him and go back. I've seen enough for today.

"Thank you for your help. I should go now then"

He didn't say anything but nodded his head at me. With that i went back where i came from. I just want to sleep for now.

(3rd Pov)

A golden haired man was lying down inside what seemed to be a church. He suddenly woke up.

"Huh.. What happened?" and while he was getting up he suddenly remembered everything and become angry once again

"That OLD MAN!" he brought his hand down smashing the side of the place he was just resting a moment ago. He seemed to get calmer the next moment.

"But how? Did I really just trip? NO! Something like that can't happen to me! But then how did it happen? Did he do it? But there was no apparent use of mana or anything else." while he was thinking a man in priest clothing came.

"So you're finally up." said the priest seeing the golden haired man walking up.

*Tsk* Gilgamesh seemed annoyed at that.

"My bounded field couldn't detect him and you got knocked out by a stone. I looked at the stone after he was gone and there was nothing wrong with it. He did not use any mana or something else. He was not a servant too for the upcoming Grail War." while he was talking there was no emotion in the man's face

Gilgamesh was acting very differently. Normally he would burst out but now he was thinking. Even in his time the only thing that truly gave him a fight was his best friend so how could he got knocked with an apparently normal stone. He was in a body of flesh so he was more vulnerable but it still didn't make sense. There was also another thing. Something way more serious. He lost the connection to his treasury when he tried to call upon it. This has never happened before and it happened instantly. He checked if he could still call upon his treasury and he could but how did that happen then.

Who was exactly this old man?

He got up from where he was and did something not even he thought he would do. Golden light started to appear next to him and a book was in his hands now.

He was planning to use his noble phantasm, Sha Naqba Imuru. He would normally never do this but there was something wrong. That guy was no servant or god. This noble phantasm of his actually allows him to see the bits of future as well even if it's not active. He already knows how this event is going to happen for the most of the time. He was waiting for this Holy Grail War to get his woman to finally accept her position.

This king's ego will not allow him that there is something that can bypass his eyes. He shall see what he truly is, so opened the book from his will.

His hair started to go up like there was air hitting it, with some golden lights appearing around him but it all suddenly stopped with the book closing shut.

A frown appeared on his face. Kirei was wondering what had happened. He knew the ego of this king. He normally would not use any of his treasures lightly. This meant that this old man was something far more.

"My king?"

He was not met with an answer he expected " What are you buffoon still doing here? This king already showed his grace enough, begone!" Kirei hearing this went out. Gilgamesh now was alone.

He did not utter anything again and got himself a wine from his Gate of Babylon. He sat down and started drinking his wine like usual.

When he opened his book he could see everything about how the future was going to happen until he encountered his woman and entered a battle with her but that old man never existed in it from the start. When he tried to actually look into the old man it stopped. It was not responding to him anymore. When he tried harder he was harmed inside, heavily at that. He would need around two weeks to recover naturally. Whoever this old man was, it was something way beyond anything he knew of. He should not exist in this world.

This king's ego was indeed huge but even he knew there were things not even he could get. Things that should not exist. Things that were never meant to be and this old man was one of those.

He would wait for now.
