AN: Ok. I know I don't really have much of a good excuse for this, but dammit someone tried to advertise CP in my reviews and the only way to get rid of it was to delete the whole fucking story, so sorry to everyone who was enjoying the story so far but I couldn't in good conscience keep the story up with that kind of crap in the reviews. Now, since I have lost the OG manuscripts for this story I have to write it all from scratch (again.) Am I excited? not really, I mean it lets me make the beginning better than what it was. Maybe if people really want this story to kick off again I'll get motivated to go further beyond like I was trying to do before, but since you guys liked it in the past, here ya go.
note: all characters are at least 18 so they will be in college.
Dragon's Retry
Chapter 0
"Alright everyone. Today is the battle we've all trained for. I know this won't be an easy match but we have to give it our all!"
In the middle of the Occult Research Club's Clubroom stands a beautiful redhead with a buxom figure, large supple breasts, and a determined look in her eye. This woman is Rias Gremory, heiress to the house of Gremory in the underworld. Before her stands her servants, a blonde boy with a sword on his hip named Kiba Yuuto, a black haired girl with purple eyes and a similar body type to Rias named Akeno Himajima, and small girl with neck length white hair named Koneko Toujou.
"We will certainly try our best Rias! I just know that we won't lose!" Said a small girl with back length golden blonde hair. This girl's name was Asia Argento.
"Hell yeah! You said it Asia, there is no way this bastard Riser is going to be at us and take away our President!" And finally our boy with chocolate brown eyes and similarly colored hair Issei Hyoudou spoke with a clenched fist with the famed Boosted Gear forming. This causes Rias to giggle into her hand with a light blush as she shakes her head a bit.
"I know none of you will let me down, but we need to form a battle plan if we want to win this, fighting with everything we have isn't going to be enough if we don't use our heads and be smart about this." Rias says as she shakes her head and places her hand on her chin with a contemplating expression on her face.
"That is true, we could place traps and our familiars to keep the forest safe from travel, although doing as such will close the idea of travelling through them ourselves." Says Akeno as she looks over to a map of the battle field and points out the forest, making a point as she does so which causes Rias to nod.
"A fair point Akeno, but it will force everyone to fight where everyone can see each other. Which could work in our favor as to keep the opposition from using any sneak attacks." Rias says as she taps her finger against her chin before pointing at the map, specifically the gym.
"Alright here is the plan, Issei, Koneko. You two will go to the gym and secure it for us. Knowing Riser he will likely want to keep all that space to himself so he has a clear line to go for us, which makes the gym a hot spot for activity that we need to take out." Rias says as she then points over to Akeno.
"Akeno, I'll need you in the skies keeping an eye out for the bomb queen as well as something else for me." Rias says as she then points to Issei, then Koneko, then the gym on the map.
"Once Issei and Koneko secure the gym and give you the signal that it's all clear, I want you to destroy the gym with your Thunder magic. That way we will be cutting off all advancement from that area from Riser's group." Rias says with a form of determination that Akeno hasn't seen in a while. Issei, Koneko and Akeno all bow slightly in acknowledgment.
"Yes president."
"I'll give it my all and knock em all out Prez!"
"Ufufu, I'll get to show off a bit, consider it done Rias."
Rias smiles at this and turns to Kiba and points to the sports area and track field, then slowly moves her finger up the way towards the new school building.
"You Kiba will be stationed here at the track field hold the position for awhile. if you don't encounter anyone by the time the gym is destroyed then I want you to slowly push up towards the new school building and meet up with Issei and Koneko. Once that is done Asia and I will make our way to you so we can take Riser down as a team."
Rias says this last part while clenching her fist quietly behind her back, not liking the idea that she can't take the bane of her existence down herself, but she knows that letting her pride get in the way of her true chance at freedom will only bite her in the ass HARD. So she calms herself, breathes in deep and looks to Issei.
"Issei, come over to the couch, I need to do something before the rating game starts."
"O-oh. Ok Prez."
Rias sits down on the couch and gestures for Issei to place his head up on her thighs. Issei, thinking he's one lucky bastard to get to use his master's thighs as a pillow, decides to lay his head down on Rias's thighs with a blissful expression on his face and a minor nosebleed as well. Rias for her part just laughs at her sole pawn's antics and places her hand on his chest.
"In the name of Rias Gremory, I release the seals placed upon the pawn Issei Hyoudou and relinquish his latent power back to him."
Issei begins to feel power swelling within his chest as a red glow forms around his master's hand. The boy sits up and stretches and looks around at his person, seemingly confused.
"Soooo not that I don't like getting to use your thighs as a pillow, but what exactly did you do to me? I feel like I can fight a bear right now."
Rias chuckles at this and begins to walk up to her pawn and gives him a hug, and lets him go before explaining.
"I didn't do all that much, all I did was unlock the power of the remaining pawns that reside in your soul. You couldn't handle the power of all eight pawns before due to your weak frame, but now you should be strong enough to handle all of it." She says with a warm smile as places her hand on top of Issei's head before turning to the rest of her peerage.
"Alright everyone, you know your orders and roles to play in this. Now let's get out there and give it all we have and destroy that disgusting pig!" she says with a clenched fist and a determined look on her face as she faces her team.
"Yes president!"
"This is Grayfia Lucifuge. The allotted time for planning and preparation has expired, it is now time for the rating game to commence."
Rias upon hearing this turns to her peerage and nods her head, signaling them to go on ahead and do their part, thus making Issei and Koneko leave for the gym.
"So what do you think we will be up against Koneko? maybe a pawn or two and one of the back pieces?" Issei asked as he summons his Boosted Gear and starts to charge up his power at the recommendation of Rias during training.
BOOST!
"Hm probably. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me." Koneko says in a deadpan tone as she walks alongside the Red Dragon Emperor, popping her knuckles as she does so.
"Well I wanna get this part of the plan over with so I can bash that loser Riser's face in! I mean seriously, what kind of arrogant dickbag talks in the third person?!" Issei says with a clenched gauntleted fist as he picks up the pace alongside young nekomata.
"Hm, for once I agree with you pervert." She says with a very small smile, but the insult at the end still struck Issei home as he comically flinches.
As they stealthily make their way into the gym, Koneko senses about four people waiting inside on the opposite end of the gym.
"Crap, they beat us here." She murmurs to herself.
"Come on out you Gremory failures! We know you're there so there is no point in hiding from us." A female voice shouts out as the lights suddenly turn on, revealing the four opponents in waiting.
Standing before the duo is a group of four girls ready for combat. Two of which are a set of twins, one of which looks like a Chinese girl from the way she was dressed, and the last was a four way pigtail with blueish hair. The Chinese girl walks forward confidently and gives a light bow before going into a battle stance.
BOOST!
"My name is Xuelan! I am Lord Risers Rook! Prepare for combat servants of Gremory!" She says with confidence in her own strength being clear to see in her declaration. The twins step forth and both pull out chainsaws and reev them up before introducing themselves.
"I'm Nel!"
"I'm Ile!"
"And we're gonna carve you up!"
Issei shivers for a moment and scratches the back of his head with his right arm, seemingly nervous now that there are chainsaws added to the mix.
"Eheheh, a-aren't you two a little young to be playing with c-chainsaws?"
BOOST!
The sisters looked at each other for a moment before turning back to Issei.
"Yes."
"Yes we are."
The last to step forward was the girl with twin pig-tails and she pulls out a staff and spins it around a bit before getting into a stance.
"My name is Mira! I may be the weakest of the peerage, but that just means you're that much weaker than even me aren't you Red Dragon Emperor?" She says with a coy tone in her voice before a sound is announced that grabbed their attention finally.
BOOST!
This causes Xuelan to click her tongue in annoyance and slight fear as she realizes that Issei had been BOOSTING this entire time. She charges in at Koneko and throws a punch as she does so.
"LETS DO THIS GIRLS! Keep your focus on the Red Dragon! He has been boosting since before he got here! So watch out for any tricks!" she yells as her fist collides with Koneko s forearm, blocking it to the Rook's surprise.
"What?! OOF!"
Koneko had "comfortably and softly" put her clenched fist into the gut of Xuelan, sending the girl back a few feet as she tried to collect herself.
"D- dammit! RAAAAR!"
"Get lost jerk."
Koneko and Xuelan started to exchange blows, hitting each other back to back as neither would give an inch, although from what it appears, Koneko has the upper hand, albeit a small one.
Xuelan decided to give a sweeping low kick to Koneko's legs to which she jumps up into the air to avoid, but Xuelan was hoping for this as she then rocketed a flaming fist into Koneko's side, sending the girl flying into the bleachers.
"FINALLY! I got her!" She says as she turns to her teammates fighting Issei, only for a bleacher to crash right next to her and break into the floor on its end.
"Gah, what the- YOU!"
"Is that all the cosplayer has?"
"Grrah why you!" Xuelan jumps up into the air and kicks off of the bleachers that was embedded into the floor and rockets herself towards Koneko who jumps into the air as well to meet her strike, while Xuelan threw a punch, Koneko spun her body about and delivered an axe kick that sent the Phenex Rook down into the gym floor, causing webbed cracks to form along the wooden floor.
"Xuelan!"
Nel shouts out as she tries to break away from the fight with Issei, only to have to dodge a punch from the Red Dragon Emperor.
BOOST!
'Ok I'm at 6 boosts. Wonder how much time I have left before I reset, I'm not at my limit of 12 yet but it's not like this damn thing has an active timer I can look at so I wouldn't really know.'
'You have about five minutes partner, make it count.'
Issei stops in his place as he hears a voice call out to him to answer his question. he looks around and wonders who it was only to get kicked in the gut by Lle and slashed at with her chainsaw.
"That's what you get for attacking my sister you worthless emperor!" Lle shouted out as she began to charge in at Issei with her chainsaw at the ready, with Mira right behind her.
"Nel! Go help Xuelan! We got this pathetic pervert!" Mira shouts out as she thrusts her staff at Issei who narrowly dodges it with a side step. Nel nods her head and goes to attack Koneko and help her downed comrade.
"Crap! Alright you bitches it's time for me to get serious! BOOSTED GEAR!
EXPLOSION!
Suddenly Issei is embued with A LOT of power as it skyrockets to a new level, Issei, almost becoming high off of this feeling, catches himself before he gets lost in the sauce that is his own power.
"Whoa. This is really my power? This is awesome! I could get used to this. Ahem, anyway, here I come ladies WOOOOOOOOH!"
Issei then charged forward and focused some power into the palm of his hand as he got close to Mira who was charging back at him with her staff raised. Lle being right behind her. Issei threw a punch and opened his fist to reveal a green ball of energy, he then spun around and roundhouse kicked it, causing it to rocket itself towards the girls.
"Dragon Shot!"
Mira tries to block it with a fire embued staff but it snaps clean in half and pushes her back into Ile as they're sent flying into the bleachers. Upon impact with said bleachers an explosion occurs causing major damage to the pawns of Phenex.
"C-crap... So this is the power of the Red Dragon? Uuh."
"I'm sorry Lord Riser. We failed you..."
With those final words Mira and Ile began to shine a brilliant light before disappearing from the gym. Issei was a bit confused by this outcome before an announcement was made.
"Riser Phenex two pawns have been retired."
"Oh so that's how it works, wonder where they were sent too."
Suddenly Issei hears a metallic crunch sound behind him as he turns to see Koneko smashing and breaking Nel's chainsaw by the blade of it, shocking the girl and causing her to become enraged.
"You bitch! You broke my favorite toy!" She cries out as she tries to swing the broken woodcutting equipment at the nekomata, only for her to dodge and counter with a severe gut punch sending the girl back a few meters.
"Damn Koneko you know how to punch!" Issei praised as he rushed over to join up with the girl as he got into a fighting stance. However.
BURST! RESET!
Suddenly the acculturation of power that Issei had gathered exited the back of the Boosted Gear in the form of aura filled steam, making the boys power go back to its original state. He felt exhausted but had to push through it!
"C-crap not now! Come on man give me more! I need the power!"
BOOST!
Suddenly the Gear roared to life with another announcement of Boost, doubling the boys power once again.
"Alright now we're cooking with gas! I'll deal with the pawn Koneko, you finish off the rook!" Issei says as he charges in after Nel as Koneko turns to Xuelan who has finally come out of the small crater in the wooden floor.
"Ow ow ow ow. that actually hurt a bit. You'll pay for that you flat midget!"
"Hrm."
A tick mark forms on Koneko's forehead as she gets in a fighting stance while her clothes look worse for wear, barely covering her petite bra as it looks a bit scuffed up too.
"Bring it on tramp."
They both charge in at each other, throwing punches and kicks each way as they both find weaknesses in each other's styles of fighting. Xuelan goes for a grapple while Koneko gives a heavy headbutt to her face, cracking Xuelan's nose and causing blood to flow out of it and for Xuelan to loosen her grip on the nekomata.
"Gah! you little bitch! My nose!"
Xuelan covers her nose with one of her hands and she clenches her eyes shut from the pain, giving Koneko the opportunity to deal a devastating haymaker into the covered face of the Chinese rook. knocking her out cold and retiring her from the game.
"Riser Phenex Rook has been retired."
"Hm no sweat at all." Koneko says as she pictures an A rank to form behind her for her job well done, but she then remembers that the fight isn't over yet as Issei is still fighting the last pawn while on his third boost.
BOOST!
Make that fourth.
"Huff, huff. You're not bad red dragon scum... But you're still going to lose in the end. Lord Riser will win this game in the end." Nel says between labored breaths as she struggles to stand with her broken chainsaw scattered across the floor from defending against Issei's attacks as he had grown stronger from this bout.
"Say what you want but we're going to win this for Rias. She deserves better than that disgusting pig of a man! Besides,"
Issei stands up straight and begins to walk over to the exhausted Nel who seemed wary of his advancement.
"Doesn't it bother you that Riser is trying to marry another woman when he has all of you who clearly love him?"
This causes Nel to flinch and look to the side in embarrassment and frustration at being found out. She clicks her tongue before speaking in a low growl.
"Sorry Lord Riser... I will retire!"
She begins to shine as she slowly disappears from view with a frustrated and defeated look in her eye as she speaks one last time.
"You really are something else Red Dragon Emperor."
"Riser Phenex pawn has been retired."
"Hm not bad for a pervert." Koneko says as she walks up to Issei as he turns to her with a confident smile and a clench of his fist.
"You bet! I'm getting stronger all the time!
This caused Koneko to give the faintest of smiles as she begins to walk away towards the exit.
"Issei, Koneko. Are you there?"
Issei seemed confused at first as to how he could hear Rias right now, but Koneko raised her hand to her ear and a magic circle formed.
"I'm here, me and the pervert did our job and took out the enemy on this end."
"That's wonderful, hurry up and get out of there, Akeno is in position for her part and ready to fire off a thunder spell." Rias says over the magic circle with a bit of pride in her tone over her pieces victory.
"Roger, we will be out in thirty seconds." Koneko says before turning to the pervert known as Issei.
"Come on, we gotta go."
"R-Right!" Issei says as he begins to follow Koneko as they run, Issei eventually running past her due to the accumulated power he has gathered.
BOOST!
And his speed increased even further.
As Issei and Koneko made it out of the Gym and to a safe distance a MASSIVE bolt of thunder crashed down onto the building, causing a gigantic explosion to occur which surprised both of the peerage members.
"Ufufufu, you two alright down there? I may have put a bit too much power into that one."
"Akeno!"
True enough, there was Akeno flying in the air in her shrine maiden outfit ready for battle as well as pleased to see her friends/comrades safe and well.
However.
'MOVE BOY!'
"Shit! Koneko!"
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
"Gah!"
Suddenly a massive explosion went off on top of Issei and Koneko, however Issei covered the Nekomata's body with his own to protect her. minimizing the damage done to her, but maximizing the amount of damage he himself took. If not for the power that he has acclimated through his Boosted Gear, he would be out of the game, or worse, dead.
"I-issei! Koneko! Are you alright?!" Akeno shouts out as she flies down to the pair and inspects their injuries. Issei is pretty messed up at the moment from the looks of it due to the burns and broken right hand.
"I'm fine... but Issei looks pretty hurt." Koneko says, actually using the boys name due to worry, she was greatful that he had protected her as there is a light blush on her face. Issei slowly and painfully stands up.
"I-I'm fine... Fuck this hurts, I'll live. Come on let's keep going."
"Hm how surprising. I could have sworn I put in enough power to take them both out."
The trio look up into the sky to see a scantily clad woman with purple hair, large breasts and a magic staff in hand. She looks down on the trio in disgust and annoyance.
"Hm no matter, you won't be so lucky this time." The woman says as she charges up an attack. However Akeno rushes up into the air and fires off a thunder spell at the woman before settling herself at equal level in the air as the woman.
"Ara Ara, if it isn't the Bomb Queen Yubaluna. I'm surprised that pig Riser sent you out into the game so early." Akeno says with a warm smile on her face, but nothing about her aura and magical signature says anything friendly, she was pissed.
"Hmph, if it isn't the Priestess of Thunder herself. Got to say, I'm not exactly impressed by your display earlier, but something tells me you were holding back there. Come, I will show you what a true Queen can do in combat!"
Yubaluna then soars up higher into the air and fires a few explosive spells at Akeno who narrowly dodges the attacks before firing a bolt of thunder off in retaliation. none of the spells quite landing either combatant but still either nicking or just tiring them out.
"Go on Issei, Koneko. leave this open ended cow to me. I can take her down, no need to worry about me."
Akeno then dodges another explosive attack aimed at her before firing a water spell at the bomb queen to mix things up. only for her to dodge it at the last second.
"Come on Koneko, we gotta go meet up with Kiba and hopefully Prez!" Issei says with a wince as he goes off into the distance with the nekomata not far behind him. Yubaluna laughs a bit.
"Ho ho ho. So you decide to fight me all on your own eh priestess? Well you will find that it was a big mistake to send them away!"
Yubaluna starts to charge a stronger attack as Akeno begins to charge in hoping to catch her off guard as she fires a more powerful thunder spell. It fires off at Yubaluna and nearly makes contact with her before the woman narrowly ducks under it, still getting a bit shocked by this as she then turns her attention back to Akeno. Only to find her nowhere to be found.
"What?! Where did that bitch go?!" She says as she looks around, trying to find out where Akeno went.
Drip
"Eh?"
Yubaluna looks up only to be shot down out of the sky by a huge pillar of water, knocking her down a few dozen meters before she could collect herself and stabilize her flight before she could come into contact with the ground.
However.
"Ufufufu now that you're all hot and bothered, why don't you scream for me 'Your highness.' "
Suddenly a MASSIVE bolt of thunder claps down out of the sky and onto the Bomb Queen, who couldn't get completely out of the way and getting her lower half electrocuted till her body felt numb and looked burnt to a crisp.
"Ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-gah!!!!"
Akeno, somewhat disappointed that she didn't get a direct hit, looks pleased that she at least crippled the Bomb Queen somewhat with her attack.
"Y-You b-b-bitch! You tricked me!" Yubaluna shouts out at Akeno as she swings her staff in a wide arc, causing multiple magic circles to form and causing Akeno to pause in alarm.
"Ara Ara, this may be a problem." She says as she slowly goes back to gain some distance from Yubaluna, not wanting to get hit by this attack at all.
"Grah! You'll pay for that! BOMBARDMENT!"
Yubaluna waves her hand outward and fires off all of the circles using explosive magic on all of them, primed and aimed at Akeno.
"Tch, as if I'd go down that easily!" Akeno growls out in a playful yet serious tone before firing a few massive balls of water at the incoming explosions. It stops some of the attacks but Akeno still gets sent flying by an explosion that got past her blind spot, sending her careening down to the ground and gets hit with a heavy impact with the ground.
"M-Mnmph! Alright so you know how to dish it out? That's good to know at least."
Akeno says with a blush on her face as she begins to slowly get up as her shrine outfit is in tatters and almost completely ruined, and begins to fly straight up at the Bomb Queen with thunder arcing off her hands and body as she gets faster and faster.
"Hmph, whatever you have planned won't work you useless fool!" Yubaluna shouts out as she fires bullets of raw demonic energy out at Akeno, who simply dodges out of the way with lightly movements, only to ram right into Yubaluna in the gut and send them both flying into the air, Akeno holding on desperately to keep the enemy in her grast as she forces the both of them into the cloudy sky.
They both enter the cloud line.
"Thunder's Roar!"
Ba-Ba-Ba-Boooom!
"AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
After a few moments, both Yubaluna and Akeno could be seen falling out of the skyline and crashing down onto the fountain of the new school building in weird angles, likely dealing heavy damage to their spines and internal organs. Akeno moves first, shifting uncomfortably as she does so and looks over to Yubaluna.
"H-how was that? hard enough for you Bomb Queen? Ufufuf- Cough cough." Akeno coughs up blood.
"Y-You insane bitch! You c-could have killed us- cough, both!" Yubaluna says through a cough of blood as she slowly moves her hand to her chest, reaching for something buried in her large, soft bosoms embrace.
"W-what are you doing? I-is that?!" Akeno says through some light shocks of leftover electricity arcing through her body, she's unable to move properly due to the injuries she has sustained.
"Heheh, what did you think we wouldn't go into this fight without some preparations? Of course we brought these." Yubaluna says as she reveals a small vial from her bosom and opens it. Drinking it all in one go which causes her body to shine and her wounds to heal at a super charged rate. as if nothing had ever happened to her in the first place.
"Y-You cheating, we don't have any Phenex Tears! Why does your side get to be the only one that has them! Dammit, we should have known you would be using the Phenex clans specialty." Akeno nearly shouts out but holds it back due to her immense pain. so she results in growling it out through her teeth in an infuriated manner.
How could Rias and herself be so blind? Of course they would use the Tears in this match to ensure their victory. if memory serves right. teams are only allowed to have two for a match, and unofficial or not, this is still a match, which means.
"Riser has the other bottle doesn't he? Knowing that coward he would most likely use it when he thinks he's about to lose to ensure that he doesn't run out of stamina or magic."
Yubaluna scoffs and kicks Akeno in the face while she's down, causing her to roll a few feet before stopping. "How dare you speak of Lord Riser that way! He was the one who said this whole fight was pointless! Yet your stupid bitch of a king still thought she could get out of this!"
Akeno began to shine a brilliant glow as her body begins to be whisked away from the game.
"Rias... I'm sorry, I failed you."
"Rias Gremory's Queen has been retired."
"Akeno?!"
Rias stands up in alarm in the clubroom of the ORC. She seems worried now and thinks for a moment, her mind racing as to how they could have taken out her queen. Then it clicks.
"Dammit! Riser must have brought some Phenex Tears into this match. Akeno should have at least taken her opponent out with her if not flatout win!"
Rias seems pretty pissed about this and then turns to Asia who speaks up.
"W-what should we do Rias? Ms.Akeno was defeated and we have no idea as to the state of the others." She says with a somewhat worried look in her eye as she shifts uncomfortably in her seat on the couch.
Rias pauses for a moment and looks at Asia's hands for a moment, seeing Twilight Healing and comes up with an idea.
"Hey Asia, how long can you keep your sacred gear running before you need to take a break?"
Asia tilts her head to the side in confusion.
"Eh? I'd say about ten to fifteen minutes? I healed a lot of people while I was at the church, if I'm looking back however I should have put more effort into training my stamina while we were at the training camp. I'm sorry Rias." Asia looks down in shame, but after a moment she is embraced by her master in a warm hug.
"Oh Asia it's fine, I should have thought of that to begin with. but tell me, are you capable of holding up a barrier for more than five minutes at a time?" She asked with a big grin on her face, it's a risky idea that relied heavily on Asia, but if it worked they may be able to beat Riser if they can also get to Issei as well.
"I'd say I could hold one up for about eight minutes. two to six if it's being constantly attacked though. I'm sorry, my magic power isn't that high yet."
"No no it's fine Asia that's perfect, you won't have to hold it up all the time, just when Riser is charging up an attack." Rias says with a glint in her eye as she stands up at attention and walks towards the door.
"R-rias? what are you planning?"
Rias smiles.
"I may have a way to beat Riser."
"Rias Gremory's Queen has been retired."
"What?! Akeno!!"
"No..."
Issei and Koneko look back in worry and disbelief as the announcement of Akeno's defeat rang out throughout the battlefield. Koneko looks down with her fists clenched and shaking in pure frustration and rage.
However.
BOOST!
"KONEKO."
The nekomata flinches at the deepness of Issei's voice as he looks over to the girl and speaks once more. This time with a calmer tone of voice. It's somewhat unsettling.
"We're gonna win this whole damn thing, for Akeno's sake, as well as Rias! Nothing is going to stand in our way!" He finishes with a clean he'd fist as his Boosted Gear shines a brilliant green glow on the gem.
Koneko stares in partial amazement that Issei still has the strength to say that, much more mean it as he then looks the white haired girl in the eye. She smiles and nods.
"Well said ya big pervert."
Issei laughs at this lightly before beginning to run towards the rendezvous point with Koneko following behind him, although from Issei's light staggering at first it seems that he is still pretty hurt. This somewhat worried Koneko as Issei may not even make it to the final fight, but she put that thought away for now in turn for focusing on the battles ahead.
After about three minutes of running, Issei is somewhat tired from the run as his stamina hasn't been the greatest as well as his injuries. Koneko flinches as she catches up and points her finger forward.
"I can hear fighting up ahead, Kiba must be in trouble."
Issei nods and thrusts his gauntleted hand upward into the air and then back down to his chest.
BOOST!
Issei began charging up power as Koneko got into a fighting stance.
"Alright! In that case let's give it all we got Koneko! we can't let Kiba bite the dust too!"
Koneko nods and begins to charge forward with Issei purposely lagging behind so he could collect power and possibly get enough to fire another Dragon Shot.
As Koneko made her way to the scene of combat, she saw Kiba going up against a girl in European armour with a flaming sword in her hands. Kiba for the time being was on the back foot as he dodged and parried attacks headed his way.
"Hmph, what is with Karlamine and swords? Swords this and chivalry that. I swear that girl is a true Knight to the letter, it's almost infuriating to hold a conversation with that one." Said a voice to Koneko's right as she turned her head to face the new voice.
There stood a young girl around the height of Koneko wearing a high end ball gown with blue eyes and long blonde drill-like twin tails flowing down her back.
Standing next to her is a woman wearing an exotic belly dancer outfit with lightly-tanned skin. her long dark colored hair swayed in the wind as she stood alongside the blonde. These women are Ravel Phenex and Shuriya respectively. Shuriya looking somewhat entertained by the fight speaks up to her fellow piece.
"Come now Lady Ravel it's not all bad, we get to see a marvelous show for free where two knights duke it out to the death." She says with an amused look on her face as she looks out to the fight in front of them. Ravel crosses her arms and lightly huffs.
"Yes well after seeing sword fight after sword fight it starts to become repetitive and boring, and by the looks of it, even with as skilled Karlamine is with a blade she is still being pushed back by that Gremory knight, shame too, if he wasn't such a sword fanatic as Karlamine is I'd have like to add him to my own peerage." Ravel says with a disappointed tone in her voice. Shuriya nods, somewhat agreeing with the Bishop.
"True, he is quite the looker. would mind getting to know that boy a bit more. He's really cute."
"OH COME ON! Even the enemy wants to jump Kiba's bones! This is so not fair!" Shouted a voice from behind them as they quickly turned around to see Issei standing there with his Boosted Gear deployed and glowing with a slight aura of power.
BOOST!
"H-Hmph, so the Red Dragon reveals himself. You have accumulated quite a lot of power there. It would be a shame for it to all go to waste on the weakest of the Red Dragons, don't you think?" Ravel says with a pompous and arrogant attitude, she must think rather low of him if she's acting like this.
"Indeed Lady Ravel, he couldn't even take on Mira who was the weakest among us ten days ago, what possible chance does he have here, especially while he's injured?" Shuriya says with a sway of her hips, clearly ment to distract Issei as she steps forward slowly yet surely, hiding her true intent as the boy blushes deeply and has a minor nosebleed. Seems like he never trained his resistance towards women in the days they gave the Gremory peerage to train.
'Partner! Quit your gawking your embarrassing us both! You have a fight to win do you not?!'
Issei's eyes slam shut as he holds his head due to the booming voice of Ddraig in his head, clearly the Dragon wasn't amused with his host's antics. Issei shakes his head after a few seconds only to then notice Shuriya right in front of him posed to strike at him.
"C-crap!"
"So easy."
Issei, having been distracted by the beautiful woman and his overactive imagination, was struck in the face by a full force flaming fist from Shuriya. This caused the Red Dragon to be sent back flying a few meters before he could get back onto his feet.
"Gah! Dammit!"

"Hmph, I find it hard to believe that you survived for this long by yourself, especially since Yubaluna was supposed to deliver an ambush and take you and your friends out. it's truly a shame that she failed in that regard, but that's what happens when she plays with her food." Ravel says as she starts to step forward before stopping next to her teammate.
FOOOOOM!
Suddenly a large burst of crimson aura came from Issei as he looks up at the girls through his bangs.
"Dammit. We're not losing here."
The boy could barely stand due to all the damage he had endured throughout the game, but his sheer will was enough to keep him going as he then clenched his gauntleted arm to his right eye, his left starting to glow emerald green.
"The Red Dragon Emperor Ddraig. I ask you to hear my call and lend me your strength, bring me forth the power to destroy the opponents that stand before me!"
Suddenly the gem on the Boosted Gear shines a brilliant green glow before an announcement was heard.
DRAGON BOOSTER!
This caused the girls to pause and even caught the attention of Karlamine, Kiba and Koneko from the middle of their fight, the power radiating off of Issei was much higher than anything he had brought out before.
"W-what is this? where did he get this level of power?!"
"... Not enough."
"Eh?"
"What?!"
Isseis eyes shot open with a burning green glow in them as he raises his gear into the air. with determination and power in his voice he shouts out to the dragon sealed within him.
"I SAID ITS NOT ENOUGH! RED DRAGON I NEED MORE! GIVE ME A POWER THAT PUSHES PAST MY LIMIT AND LEAVES NOTHING BEHIND OF MY ENEMIES!"
This causes Ravel and Shuriya to act, Ravel charging up a fire ball of moderate size and Shuriya rushing forward with the intent of finishing off the boy, the phenex fires off her shot. Shuriya reaches Issei and is inches away from taking his life with a stabbing motion of her hand.
However.
BOOSTED GEAR! SECOND LIBERATION!!!
Suddenly a giant pillar of light forms from the gauntlet as it begins to crack and form into a new shape, with golden runes and spikes forming along the forearm and back of the palm. An earthquake forms knocking everyone near the Red Dragon Emperor off balance. Even the fireball that was hurling at him dispelled into nothing against the massive amount of aura that Issei was putting out.
"Eheh woah! What is this? didn't expect my gear to transform!" Issei says in genuine surprise before hearing a voice in his head.
'Congratulations Issei Hyoudou. You have unlocked the final evolutionary stage of the Boosted Gear. the only level beyond this now is the Balance Breaker. Try not to let the power boost go to your head.' Ddraig says in his mind with a bit of amusement in his voice.
"Woah! I wonder what I can do now with this new power!" Issei says as he turns towards the downed girls as they were starting to stand back up. his body felt light as a feather compared to what it felt like a few moments ago. He jumps up into the air and throws a few punches to get a feel of the power coursing through his veins right now. He then smiles.
"Right! Let's do this Ddraig!"
BOOST!
Issei then charged forward at a speed unfamiliar to him, causing him to over shoot his destination as he stumbled and nearly falls on his face, embarrassing himself as usual. He then catches his bearings and blocks a sudden fire embued kick from Shuriya, causing him to slide back a few meters towards Kiba and Koneko who were in the middle of their own battle.
Speaking of the two, they were having a somewhat easy time with Karlamine since she was having a hard time dealing with both Kiba's speed and Koneko's raw power. She growls in frustration.
"You cowards! Ganging up on a true Knight with no shame at all, Kiba Yuuto I expected better from a fellow Knight!" She shouts in disgust as she deflects an punch from Koneko before having to jump away from the clash due to a sneaky swing of Kiba with his blade Flame Delete.
"Hm maybe, but your master has shown little to no honor at all in how he has been holding himself when it comes to our President. She clearly hates him yet he insists on getting her like she's a prize to be won. Well she's not! She is Rias Gremory! And as her Knight I will do whatever it takes to ensure her happiness and safety!"
Kiba shouts out before clashing blades once again with Karlamine, his Flame Delete eating away at the flames that were being emitted from the enemy devil's sword. As this happened however, Koneko snuck up from behind and delivered a devastating kick to the back of karlamine's body, mainly her spine, causing her to be sent into Kiba where he summons a small blade that he thrusts into her chest, piercing a lung as he does so. He didn't like fighting like this at all, but his master's freedom was on the line and he would be damned if anyone would threaten it or the safety of his comrades as well.
"Gaack! Y-You bastard! H-how dare you!?"
"If you'd be so kind, please retire."
Kiba twisted the dagger in Karlamine's body before yanking it out with a lot of force. causing blood to flow out of her at a rapid rate as she struggled to stay standing, much more keep her blade up for a fight.
"I-I will not fall here. Not... like this! I will win... for... Lord Riser..."

Karlamine began to fall as she was finishing her sentence before collapsing in a heap on the dirt. the familiar glow of retirement shining around her as she then disappeared from view.
Lord Riser's Knight, retired.
Kiba and Koneko sighed in relief that the fight was over for now, and turned to go and assist Issei before suddenly.
"DAMN YOU!"

Suddenly a woman wielding a zweihander came crashing down onto Koneko. The curved part of the beast of a sword cutting DEEP into the nekomata's body, cutting her down from the collar bone to the waist in a diagonal motion.
"Koneko!" Kiba screamed in horror, neither of them sensed her coming, she was so fast even with such a heavy weapon. Before she would even know what happened. Koneko starts to drop to the ground as her body shines with that familiar glow.
Lady Rias's Rook, retired.
"Hmph, serves the bitch right. She was in Lord Riser's way after all." The swordswoman states as she stands up straight with her zweihander in one hand propped against her shoulder, behind her as they came running up were her team as well. The remainder of Riser's peerage had arrived and they did not seem happy with the loss of their teammates.
"You! you'll pay for that!" Kiba hissed in anger as he got into a fighting stance as the four girls encircled him. each with a confident smile on their face, knowing that the knight was tired and needing rest.
"Hmph, as if you could do anything to stop us. You're in a weakened state and you're alone against the four of us. what could you possibly-"
Lord Riser's Pawn, retired.
BOOST!
Issei, now on his eleventh boost, skids into Kiba as he is knocked away from his fight with Shuriya and Ravel due to the Phenex blasting the boy away right as he had knocked out the pawn. As the boys collect their bearings, Ravel walks forward, joining the group of four surrounding Kiba and Issei. a small flicker of flame coming off of her cheek where she had been struck previously by Issei puffs out of existence revealing that her wounds were healed. She looked as if she was never touched.
"Well, that took longer than expected, but it's clear that you both are running low on energy, especially you Red Dragon Emperor." Ravel says with a hint of amusement in her tone as she then turns to her comrade in a biker outfit.
"Deal with them if you would ladies."
"Tch."
"With pleasure Ravel."
The girls all get into fighting stances and start to slowly charge up signature attacks from each of them respectively. Issei begins to sweat in nervousness before coming up with an idea. If he could boost his power past what he could handle by himself... Could he?
"Yo pretty boy, I got an idea that you may like."
This catches Kiba's attention as he raises an eyebrow and turns towards Issei. "Oh? What is it that you have in mind?"
Issei lowers his voice so only Kiba could hear.
"On my mark, I want you to create as many swords as you possibly can around us. I'm going to try something right before that!" He says with seriousness in his voice as he pops his neck and clenches his fist tightly.
EXPLOSION!
This alarms the girls as they instinctively all begin to charge in at once with their most powerful attacks. Before they can land however, Issei places his gauntleted hand onto Kiba's shoulder.
GIFT! TRANSFER!
"NOW KIBA!"
Kiba's eyes dilated for a moment before he follows his order. His body felt light as air and powerful. more powerful than he ever felt before! It was astonishing! He placed his hand onto the ground and shouted with all his might.
"SWORD BIRTH!"
CRRRRRACK! SHING!
Suddenly dozens of large jagged blades of varying sizes erupted from the ground, some of them missing their targets but the rest stabbing into the stomachs of the girls (except Ravel who had sayed back), lifting them into the air as the glow of retirement shined and whisked them away to be healed. Four enemies down in a single moment.
Lord Riser's two Bishops, Rook, And Knight retired.
"W-What?! What did you do Hyoudou?! There's no way that Knight's power is that great!"
"Heh." Issei chuckled for a moment before patting Kiba's shoulder lightly, he looked exhausted.
"Nothing special, just put forth a new ability I gained." He said, being coy as he does so. but it's clear that he's running near empty now in terms of stamina. Issei is the only one to notice his own vision getting blurry and his legs slightly shaking. He could barely stand.
"Heh, not a bad trick Issei, it makes for a sweet combo move. but now we should deal with this little girl." Kiba says as he draws another flame delete before he notices something about himself.
"Oh. That's not good."
He had failed to notice during the combo attack, but it appears that he was stabbed in the chest during the process, blood begins to gush out of the wound as the light of retirement shines around his body.
"What? Kiba!" Issei says in alarm as he realized what's happening. He rushes over to his disappearing friend.
"Heh, sorry Issei, guess the rest is up to you. Do us proud." He says before he disappears completely and collapses onto the ground.
"D-DAMMIT!"
Lady Rias's Knight, retired.
"Grrrrr." Issei grinds his teeth in frustration and rage. his friends were falling all around him, now it was only him, Rias and Asia left. Issei turns towards Ravel with a crazed look in his eye that somewhat off puts the poor girl.
"Y-You! what do you think you're doing? Don't get any funny ideas now!" Ravel says with a hint of worry in her tone as she brings out her wings, ready to fly off at a moments notice, she wasn't even supposed to fight. but she had panicked before and attacked the Red Dragon Emperor. So it makes sense that he may want some payback.
"Ddriag."
BOOST!
"It's time to teach this little bird a lesson. To not mess with us! Then go after her spicy chicken of a brother!"
'Partner, I must warn you that your stamina is running dangerously low, I do not know if you will have enough to face the phenex with what you have left.'
'Damn, I have to try Ddraig, I can't lose this battle. I'll give it all I got even if it kills me!'
'Partner... very well, let us see what you can do then boy.'
Issei then leaps into the air as high as he can, making it so he can just barely reach Ravel before she has risen up higher into the sky. Her idea to get away from the boy had worked.
However.
"Dragon Shot!"
"Eh?"
Suddenly a ball of pure draconic energy formed into Issei's hand as he then rocketed it forward towards the young Phenex girl.
"W-What?! NO! Stay away from meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
BOOM!
Suddenly Ravel could be seen falling out of the sky after being hit with such a explosion. landing on her back with flames licking her face and body. She was hurt, but not out of the game yet.
Issei lands a few feet away from her and sees that Ravel had begun healing herself passively. This annoyed the boy as if he couldn't take out the little sister, what could he do about Riser himself.
Czzzzt!
"Issei! Are you there?"
Suddenly a magic circle appeared next to Issei's ear and he paused for a moment, catching his breath in his barely functioning body before answering.
"Yeah I'm here Prez, what's up?"
Rias seems a bit hesitant over the coms before answering.
"I'm going to face off against Riser, I'm already in front of the new school building with Asia. I need you to meet up with us and charge up your power to the max so we may have a shot against him. Preferably I would have wanted to deal with him myself, but I'm not foolish enough to think I can beat him alone. I'll provide myself as a distraction as you heal up from Asia."
BOOST!
Issei stands at attention in alarm and begins to wobbly run towards the school as fast as he can without falling.
"Rias are you crazy? You can't fight that guy alone! His power doesn't even let him play fair at all! Just wait until I get to you and we can come up with something else that doesn't use you like bait. you go down and we lose this whole thing! Please Rias!"
There was a pause in the coms for a moment before Rias began speaking again.
"I'm sorry Issei but this is the only idea that I got left. I didn't want it to come to this but we're backed into a corner, especially with everyone else gone. Forgive me."
CZZZT!

Issei began running even faster than before. Wanting to make it in time to help his master and crush before it was too late.
"Hang on Rias! I'm coming!"
Five minutes had passed since Rias communicated with Issei her plan, and as much as it put a sour taste in his mouth, Issei had to go along with it for the love of his life.
Five minutes of Issei being healed by Asia with her sacred gear.
Five minutes of constant battle between Rias and Riser. With his Queen Yubaluna watching from the sidelines along with Ravel.
... And Two straight minutes of nothing but Issei boosting his power uninterrupted.
BOOST! LIMIT REACHED!
"Heh, guess I can only hold twelve Boosts for now huh? I'm going to have to work on that." Issei says as he stands up and pops his back after Asia finishes healing him.
"T-There you go Issei, you're all healed up, I'm sorry that it took me so long, I had to heal Rias up a bit before you got here and I'm not used to healing for so long back to back like this." Asia says as her Twilight Healing's rings stop glowing. Issei turns towards the small girl and gives her a hug.
"It's alright, but I'm going to need you to pull Rias back and heal her up, she's likely exhausted and needs to rest. don't worry, I'll do what I can to beat Riser!" The boy says as he then turns towards the stairs and begins to ascend them.
A Minute later.
Bzzzrt!
Fooom!
Babooom!
on top of the roof of the school building, beams of destruction and turrets of fire can be seen being shot at different angles towards two separate sources.
"Huff Huff Huff."
"Haha! Is that really the best you can muster Rias? Riser was expecting a bit more fight out of you." Says Riser from above Rias's head as she pants in exhaustion, having spent most of her power during this bout while Riser's body is on fire regenerating itself as if he were never harmed to begin with.
"Shut up Riser! You've been nothing but a burden and a thorn in my side for years! I will say it as many times as I have to even to my bull headed parents. I! Will Not! Marry You!" The Gremory heiress shouts with venom in her tone as she fires off a massive amount of destruction towards Riser, whom of which doesn't even bother dodging as he takes the attack head on.
BZZZZRT BOOM!
The attack connects as Riser's upperbody gets blown apart. This causes him to start falling out of the sky for a few moments before his body is alit with flame once again, causing his body to regenerate fully as the phenex shines with a brilliant glow as he is resurrected.
"Hahaha. Surely you must be able to tell that this is pointless Rias, just surrender and accept the marriage already. There is no one here that is strong enough to save you." Riser says with a wicked grin on his face as be sends a wave of flame at Rias, on route to a direct impact.
However.
"I'm sorry what were you saying? I couldn't hear you over the sound of a fryer sizzling Chicken Little!"
Suddenly before the wave of flame could make contact with Rias, Issei smacks the fire away with all his might with his gauntleted arm as he stands proudly, all healed up and ready to fight.
"Hyoudou!?"
"The Red Dragon Emperor?!"
"He Actually made it?!
"Issei!"
Riser, Ravel, Yubaluna and Rias in turn had all shouted in surprise as they each looked at the boy in question, some in rage, others in shock, and Rias in relief.
'Hey Ddraig, how much longer can I hold this power before it resets?'
'About five minutes, be warned that this will be the first time that you have fought at full power, so your stamina will be taking a massive hit from this. I would advice you try to finish this as soon as possible.' Ddraig says within Issei's mins as the boy turned to see Asia make it to Rias.
"Asia, take rias and heal her up please! leave General Tso to me!" Issei says while pointing his thumb at himself before turning back to Riser. Asia has admiration in her eyes as she nods and takes Rias's hand.
"R-Right! Let's go Rias, we gotta go! Leave this to Issei!" She says as she begins running slowly away from the battle ground to a safe distance away. Riser then growls at this before turning towards the boy that stands in his way.
"Grr. Riser was so close to finishing this whole thing. very well, Riser suppose's he could blow off some steam by humiliating the Red Dragon Emperor." He growls out before collecting himself. and flying down slowly so his feet land onto the ruined rooftop of the school.
"So you actually have the nerve to stand against the great Riser Phenex? Very well!" Suddenly Riser begins rushing forward with a flaming fist, charging straight at Issei who is a bit alarmed by the speed of which Riser is moving.
"HIT RISER WITH YOUR BEST SHIT BOY!"
Issei flinches for a moment before gritting his teeth and rushing forward himself, aiming to punch Riser in the gut as he dodged to the side, avoiding the punch that the Phenex threw before digging his gauntleted fist into the fried chickens gut.
"Gah! you little BRAT! Riser will burn you alive!!!" The man shouts, having actually felt the punch delivered into his stomach as he staggers back a bit before sending a flaming kick into Issei's face in retaliation, sending the boy flying towards the edge of the rooftop, but Issei dug his claws into the steel of the roof and slowed his momentum to a stop. There now being a severe burn mark on Issei's left cheek. making him close said side's eye in pain as the other before getting back on his feet and rushing forward, coating his arms in his draconic aura as he does so.
"You won't stop me Riser! Not when Rias is on the line, she deserves someone way better then you you lousy disgusting prick!" Issei shouts as he starts throwing punches at the surprised Riser, some of which landing on the phenex's body, face, and arms where he had attempted to block.
'Partner, you only have two minutes left, make it count.'
'Thanks for the heads up Ddraig. I gotta end this somehow... I know! How abo-'
Suddenly before Issei could finish coming up with his idea, a massive explosion rockets the boy back away from Riser from the right side, knocking the boy off of the rooftop and landing on the main fountain at the front of the school, destroying it on impact.
"Issei!" Rias and Asia shout in worry from the sidelines. Riser however, seems confused for a moment before realizing what happened.
"What the? YUBALUNA! What do you think your doing?!" Riser shouts out towards his Queen in aggravation as she descends down to meet him. She had a worried look on her face.
"Lord Riser, I just wanted to finish this off as soon as possible, I know you want to do something better than deal with this low born trash." She responds with a bow of her head, hoping that he isn't too angry.
"Tch, you're not wrong. However I want to put this boy down in his place myself. I don't want you or Ravel interfering with this bout." Riser ordered as he jumped down from the rooftop onto the school grounds, using his wings to descend at a slower pace to avoid damage, no matter how miniscule it may be.
Issei on the other hand, stood back up onto his feet battered, bruised, and bleeding from the head, his legs shaking a bit from a concussion most likely. He shakes his head from side to side slowly as to not cause himself to be knocked over before looking over at Riser off in the distance, his eyes blurry and unstable.
"T-Thar was cheap using your Queen to get m-mes off you Rizzer." He said, slurring his words due to the blunt force trauma to his head as he could barely stand on his own feet.
'Partner! Are you alright?! That was a nasty hit!'
'Oh, hey Ddraig's, think your power can help with this? mys... Well everything hurts.'
'Unsurprising considering the blow you just endured. Honestly I'm surprised you're still able to stand after taking such a hit. In any case, I will focus my power into stabilizing your sight at the very least.' Ddraig says within his subconscious. After a few moments to regain his bearings, Issei stands tall and gets into a fighting stance once again.
"Ish that all your got bird person?" Issei says with slurred words as his eyesight returns to its original state. Riser however grinds his teeth in annoyance as he fires off a large fireball at the young Red Dragon.
"Grrah! Enough with your prattling you low-class whelp!" Riser shouts as the fireball approaches the boy and nearly engulfs him in flame before he falls to the side, only allowing his leg to be burnt in the process causing it to look like a charred burnt mess. Some of the skin melting off as this occurred.
"GAAAAAAAH! MY LEG! MY LEEEG!!" Issei shouts out as he puts his hands on the clothing mess that remains of his leg. The boy had never been in such excruciating pain before in his life. Said pain in his leg causes Issei to sober him up from his concussion by a large amount as he struggles to his feet. However the Phenex is right on top of him as he sends a kick to the boy's stomach, causing him to cough up blood.
"Hmph, you disappoint me boy, I was actually expecting somewhat of a fight from you, then again my Queen DID interrupt our battle, so I suppose I couldn't expect you to be able to fight with both of us dealing damage to you. That being sa-"
Suddenly as Riser lifts up Issei by his hair to look the boy in the eye, Issei lifted his gauntlet and fired a full powered dragon shot into the Phenex's chest, sending him back dozens of meters before he collides with the school doors and explodes in a heap of draconic power.
"LORD RISER!!"
"BIG BROTHER!"
"Huff, huff, huff. Suck on that you flaming pigeon." Issei pants out as he nearly falls over, but barely stands on one leg.
BURST! RESET!
Suddenly a large amount of steam explodes out through the elbow spike of the Boosted Gear and Issei falls onto the ground, completely spent and exhausted from using up all his power at once. Yet he was happy, his attack connected head on and sent the bastard flying into the new school building. However he took notice of something.
Grayfia hadn't announced Riser's defeat yet.

Suddenly the school burst into flames as Riser ROCKETED himself out of the doorway and grabbed hold of Issei with his burning hands as most of his body had been destroyed in that attack. Riser had a crazed look in his eye as he was coming to terms with what just happened, as well as seeing red from having been struck with such a devastating attack out of nowhere.
"YOU BASTAAAAARD! THAT ACTUALLY HURT! ILL MAKE SURE YOU WILL NEVER REINCARNATE AGAIN YOU WORTHLESS LIZARD!"
