Summary (Work in Progress): Luz's latest battle with the Emperor ended badly, now she has to deal with, not only a curse, but also the constant reminder that the Day of Unity was coming. Life has become difficult for Luz.

Luz hit the wall and landed on the ground, hard. Luz, bloody and bruised, laid on the ground with her uninjured arm over her broken ribs. Belos walked up to her and placed his foot on the side of her head.

"You." He said angrily, "You've caused so many problems for me. I could easily petrify you, or crush you like the insignificant bug you are."

Luz tried to get up, but he grinded his foot into her face.

"I could do a number of things to you, but they all result in you dying. That's to merciful. I have something better planned. Something that you will have to deal with for the rest of your life."

He pulls out a paper and it started glowing. Luz felt pure pain go through her body. It felt like someone was pulling her insides apart. She blacked out, right as someone blew the door down. Luz opened her eyes and saw that she was in her room at the Owl House. She groaned and held her head.

"What happened?"

She heard the door open and saw Lilith.

"Y-y-you're awake." Lilith leaned out the door, "Edalyn, Luz is awake!"

Eda ran up and saw Luz. Luz was confused as to why Eda was crying.

"K-K-Kid. I'm sorry." Eda said.

"Why, did we not get the portal?"

Lilith and Eda shared a look. Eda walked up to Luz and put hands on her shoulders.

"Kid, we have the portal, but... Belos did something." Eda said, handing Luz a mirror.

"What? What did he do?"

"Kid, looking in the mirror."

Luz looked in the mirror and didn't see anything wrong, apart from her canines looking sharper than usual. She moved the mirror around a little when she saw something behind her. She slowly turned around and screamed.

"What is that!? Where are my legs!?"

Behind Luz, was a large spider body. It was black, with two dark purple lines going down the end of it and had eight massive legs. Luz touched it and started to hyperventilate as she felt her finger touch it. It was part of her. This was her body.

"Kid, calm down." Eda said, "Every-"

"Calm down!? How do I calm down!? I have a fucking spider body! What am I going-"

There was a noise and Luz, Eda, and Lilith looked at the wall. There was a web connected to it, coming from Luz's new body.

"I just shot a web out of my butt." Luz said, completely shocked.

"Technically, it actually came from your spinneret." Lilith said, "They're completely different things."

"Lily." Eda growled.

"I was just explaining it to her." Lilith said.

The sisters heard a thud and saw Luz, passed out on the floor.
