Summary: Ever since she was a kid, Eda wanted a dog. She gets her wish when, after Luz gets attacked by an animal, Luz starts to act like a puppy. It doesn't take long for her to realize, Luz got bit by a werewolf.
Eda looked at Luz, sleeping on her little mat that she had. Her right arm was heavily bandaged up after she was attacked by something in the woods. Thankfully, she doesn't seem to have anything wrong with her... yet. Eda will check on her over the next few days just to make sure.
"Sleep tight, Luz." Eda said, closing the door, "What kind of mentor am I? I told her to run when I could've helped her."
Eda thought back to what happened only a couple hours ago. When Luz had made it back to the Owl House with her arm bleeding. Eda asked what happened, but Luz says that she heard a growl and the felt pain. After that, she apparently blacked out, at least according to what she said. In Luz's room, Luz tossed and turned, making small yelp noises like a puppy does when it has a nightmare. Her arm, more specifically, her wound, started to glow when the moon struck her. Luz opened her eyes and growled. Eda heard a noise in Luz's room and instantly ran to it. She opened the door and saw Luz, on all fours, with her pillow in her mouth. Luz started to shake her head like a dog with a toy.
"Luz? What's gotten into you?"
Eda comes over and grabs the pillow, which makes Luz start to think Eda wants to play with her. Luz uses her teeth to pull on the pillow.
"Luz, this is not tug of war!" Eda said, "Drop it. Drop it! Bad Human!"
Luz let go and Eda fell backwards, landing hard on her back. Luz ran at her and started licking her face.
"Luz! Stop it!"
Eda got up and looked at Luz, who was sitting like a dog, panting excitedly.
"What is going on with you? I really doubt this is a human thing."
Luz barks happily. She raised her leg and started using her foot to scratch behind her ear.
"Kid, stop messing around, why are you acting like a puppy?" Eda quickly realized, "There were sightings of a werewolf this morning and you came back with an animal bite. Now you're acting like a puppy. You got bitten by a werewolf."
Eda felt like she was going to faint until she heard a whimper. She looked at Luz sitting on her legs with her hands up, like a dog begging for attention. Eda rubbed Luz on the head and Luz started shaking her leg.
"Well, I always wanted a dog." Eda said, "How am I going to fix this?"
Luz started to scratch behind her ear again and Eda groaned.
"Great, now I need to get a flea collar for you, too." Eda said, "It's hard enough stealing them for King."
This one, is actually different. I've done Adventure, Supernatural, Romance, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, but I've yet to have one that fits into Comedy. This one will. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
