Brianshooter672: I listened both of those, and from what I can tell, both of them were great. So, I've decided that the song is Samurai Heart.
Melissa Shield, David Shield, and the Truth of Red-X
After they arrived at I-Island, All Might, Izuku, Tamao, and the Bat Family went through the gates of the airport on the island. Both All Might and Izuku were in their costumes and stood a moving hallway. Their bodies were scanned by security.
"We will now begin the immigration process."
"Let's test your trivia, young man." All Might suggested with a grin, raising his finger. "Why was this artificial island created?"
"I know this." Izuku states with a grin, pondered. "It was built so the world's brightest minds to gather together to research Quirks and develop new Hero Support Items. They made the island movable in order to protect the scientists and their top-secret research from villains. It got a security system on par with the one that Tartarus prison. So basically, no one has ever committed a crime here."
But just as Izuku muttered, Jason smacked him in the back of his head.
"We get the idea; you pass the Pop Quiz question." Jason told him in annoyance. "Geez, didn't think you're a blabbermouth."
They came to the end of the hallway. There was an audible dinging sound as the scanners finished their inspection. As they walked out into the station, where there was a large crowd of people heading towards the exit, the woman's voice came once again on the intercom.
"The immigration inspection is complete. The island is currently holding the pre-opening of I-Expo; an event that showcases the research and development our teams have been working on. Only those with invitations may attend the preview."
Izuku ran out of the station and got his first view of the interior of the island.
It truly was a sight to behold. It's like entering a carnival. The architect buildings were so advanced looking and had so many unique colors. All around the area were so many inventions and technology going on from wild-looking Ferris wheel to giant harps being controlled by one man and his musical Quirk, and even giant water fountains the size of a mountain that shot out water to spell 'welcome to all the visitors'.
"I can't believe so many people are here before the Expo's officially open to the public." All Might said in amazement.
"That, and to help raise the funds for the I-Island to expand the Wayne Enterprises." Ethan adds with an impressed smirk.
"No way! The pictures of this place don't do it justice!?" Izuku exclaims.
"Yeah, what gives?" Tamao questions, confused.
"Unlike back in Japan, people are allowed to use their Quirks however they wish on this island." All Might explains. "The pavilions are jam packed with attraction and demonstrations, make some time for them later."
"I will!" Izuku replied when All Might pulled out a pamphlet.
"It'll be time to see those attractions once we got ourselves a tour guide." The voice of Elijah Summers said as he approaches them, then turns to Ethan. "Been a long time since we kept in touch, brother."
'BROTHER?!' All Might and Izuku mentally exclaims in shock.
Elijah Summers was wearing a black leather jacket, a white shirt underneath, blue jeans, and black leather boots.
"It has, Elijah." Ethan replied. "For 12 years, our uncle and aunt forced us to come with them since our parents have been on bad terms. Our parents wanted the both of us to stay, but uncle and aunt took you back in US."
"Until our parents were killed, and the plans changed." Elijah said, earned a nod from his brother.
"Wait, that guy is your brother?!" Izuku exclaimed shockingly.
"Before his last name changed, his original last name was Summers." Elijah told him. "Our parents were business partners with Bruce Wayne for the Wayne Enterprises. They occasionally funded military ops when they knew it was required along with the Wayne Enterprises."
"And after our parents were murdered, the fortune goes to Elijah. But it didn't go well for our Uncle Nick and Aunt Mandy, because they only care about money and tried multiple occasions to seize all his funds for themselves, claiming they had legal claim over it." Ethan adds, couldn't stand greedy family members who only cared about money. "Elijah provided enough evidence to the court, putting a restraining order on them to keep them away from him."
"So, what happened after that?" All Might inquires.
"I use my money to travel around the world, to learn martial arts from All Caste, gadgets from Lucas, and assassination from the League of Assassins." Elijah explains. "But even after these years, they're relentless. They tried to get my money, which I was lucky that I put my account into lockdown in case they tried it."
"Aren't they technically your guardians?" Tamao asks.
"They tried it, but like he said, I provided the court with enough evidence to place a restraining order against them." Elijah told her. "Also, the will that our parents left us didn't say anything about their names or their claim. The only thing it mentioned was my name and the fortune belonged to me."
Izuku, All Might, Tamao, Ethan, Eri, and Jason understands what Elijah is telling them about the will his late parents left him. Apparently, Elijah left US to travel around the globe to learn martial arts, gadgets, weaponry, and assassination which he didn't tell them about him as Red-X.
"Much as we want to hear about your past time, it'll be best that we must go to a hotel." All Might suggested, looks at the pamphlet. "Let's see...the hotel should be nearby..."
Just then, one of the I-Island assistants walked up to them.
"Welcome to I-Expo."
However, when she saw who she's greeting, her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Is that really you, All Might?!"
The moment she said that, everyone's attention was on the Symbol of Peace. Most of the guests and island assistance wanted to talk to the hero and ask for his autograph. There were also news team invited to the I-Island that rushed over to get an interview. All Might laughed full-heartedly as he's completely surrounded by the people, but the Bat Family and Tamao were able to quickly move out of the way while Izuku was almost crushed by the crowd. However, a woman named Kara Zor-El pulled All Might away from the crowd with her strength. Henry, Mace, and Claire motioned them to follow as they left the scene while leaving the crowd confused.
Henry Palmer has a lean muscular appearance with auburn hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a light blue shirt with red and navy striped necktie, a black pants, black shoes, and white lab coat.
Mace Dugan has a muscular appearance with short red hair and blue eyes. He was wearing white shirt, a grey overall that the sleeves tied around his waist, and black boots.
Claire Whitmore has a slender appearance with little muscles, long blond hair that reaches down to her shoulder blades, and blue eyes. She was wearing a navy shirt that has a pattern of 'Bellator MMA', black jeans, and black shoes.
Once they're far away from the crowd and away from the city, they're standing next to one of the rivers, but the crowd left All Might a couple of kiss marks all over his face.
"Uh, All Might, you got a little something on your face." Tamao points out, points at his face.
"Really? Where?" All Might asks.
"Uh...Everywhere." Tamao told him in annoyance.
"Sorry about that. I didn't think I get stop for so long." All Might apologized, rubbing the lip marks off of his face. "I'm afraid at this point, we're in terrible danger for being late."
All Might then turns to Kara, Henry, Mace, and Claire.
"And as for your four, thank you for getting us out." All Might thanked them.
"It's no problem, dealing with the whole circus is pain in the ass." Mace said with a smirk. "The names Mace Dugan. I'm a mechanic and an engineer from Pittsburg."
"I'm Clarie Whitmore, I'm a college student in Gettysburg." Clarie introduces herself.
"I'm Henry Palmer, a scientist from Connecticut." Henry adds.
"And I'm Kara Zor-El." Kara adds with a smile.
It got Ethan shocked when Kara introduces herself, but remembered that Bruce told him of her as the hero's name Supergirl, a member of the Justice League, and she's the cousin of Clark Kent. He thought Kara Zol-El died from the fight against the Legion of Doon, but it got him wondering how she could survive.
"Ethan, you okay?" Tamao asks with concern, making him snapped out of his thoughts.
"Yeah...yeah, sorry." Ethan said.
"Anyway, I'm Tamao Oguro." Tamao introduced herself when she turns to Elijah. "I guess that makes you, my cousin."
"Seems like it." Elijah said with a chuckle.
Kara turns to Jason Todd, which it got her shocked that he somehow was resurrected by the Lazarus Pit. She remembered of him being killed by the hands of the Joker, but the Court of Owls uses the Lazarus Pit to bring Jason back from the dead.
"Anyway, that brings us to our question, what do you mean by being late?" Jason asks, changing the subject.
"Ah, that reminds me. I remember you guys told me about David, but what I didn't tell you all is that he's an old friend of mine and I haven't seen him in quite a while." All Might explains after snapped out of this thought. "Sorry to spring it on you, but would you mind coming along?"
The Bat Family, the Justice League, and Tamao replied with a nod.
"You mean I get to meet one of your friends? Obviously, of course I'll go!" Izuku replied excitedly.
"But All Might, I think it'll be best not to ask Professor David some questions. So, we have to keep it casual as much as we can." Ethan suggested seriously. "When the time comes, we'll ask them why."
Both All Might and Izuku knows why they have to keep the suspicions into minimum because it'll draw too much attention. They remembered of the Bat Family and Tamao informing them about the 4 'Most Wanted' criminals being hired by David and Sam.
They were cut off from their thoughts when they heard a strange sound.
"Do you hear something?" Eri asked.
"What is it?" All Might asked, confused.
"It sounds like...a pogo stick?" Kara inquires before seeing a figure coming towards them.
Just as she said, they were hearing a bouncing sound of a pogo stick. They looked at each other in confusion, thinking it's nothing to worry about. However, when All Might, Ethan, and Elijah saw who's jumping to them, they smiled.
"There you are, Uncle! Finally!" Melissa shouts before jumping off the pogo stick and into All Might's arms. "Welcome, Uncle Might!"
"It's so good to see you, Melissa!" All Might exclaims with joy as Izuku looked at them with surprise and confusion.
"Oh my gosh, it's been forever!" Melissa said, pulling away from the Hero and smiled. "I can't believe you're actually here!"
"I'm truly grateful for the invitation." All Might said. "I almost didn't recognize you. When did you go and get so grown up?"
"Well, I am 17 now, you know." Melissa told him. "Much heavier than the last time you saw me."
"Are you? No!" All Might said, laughed as he lifts her up into the air and then puts her down.
Allowing for Izuku and the others to have a better look at her while the former stares with wide eyes.
However, Izuku remembered of the Bat Family and Tamao told him and All Might about Melissa taking up Harper Row's mantle as the new Bluebird during their time at the private jet.
'Wait, this is All Might's old friend? They must have met when she was just a kid or something. Or maybe her Quirk makes her look young?' Izuku mentally thought, but earned a smack from the back of his head from Tamao.
"You know, it's rude to stare." Tamao told him in annoyance, causing Izuku to rub his sore head.
It got All Might and Melissa's attention when they turned to them, but she noticed Ethan and Elijah as she smiled.
"Ethan! Elijah!" Melissa said, hugs them both. "It's been a long time."
"Yes, it has. It's good to see you, Melissa." Ethan said with a smile as she then turns to Elijah.
"And Elijah, it's nice to see you visit on I-Island." Melissa told her fiancé. "I was hoping when you get a chance to come here, because I really want to have a get-together with you. And to take you out on a date."
"You know me, I've been busy here and there." Elijah said with a chuckle. "But come on, we keep in touch for a year."
"But it's not enough! We've always got to call occasionally and whenever we're not busy, but after I give you an invitation and to have you here on I-Island, I was really looking forward to having our time off so we can have a date!" Melissa shouts, causing Elijah, All Might, and Izuku to sweat drop.
"Ethan, a little help!" Elijah pleads, turns to his brother.
"Sorry, you're on your own. I don't wanna get in a middle of lover's quarrel." Ethan told him with a smirk, earned a tick mark from Elijah while All Might laughed.
"As much as we like to leave you two lovebirds alone, but I was wondering where David would be hiding?" All Might questioned, earned her attention.
"Oh, he's in his lab." Melissa answered. "He had a breakthrough on some research he's been focusing on for years. Actually, he has no idea you're even here, this is just a little surprise to celebrate his work."
"So, that's what this is about?" All Might said, realizing why he's here. "Give me the scoop then, what is he cooking up this time?"
"He said it's confidential." Melissa points out. "He won't even tell me what he's been doing."
"Scientists and their secrets." All Might said with a sigh.
Now, the Justice League, the Bat Family, Elijah, Tamao, and Izuku were starting to become annoyed since they're basically ignored. As their conversation started to drag out, Ethan cleared his throat to get their attention.
"As much as we're glad for your reunion, but I believe introductions are in order." Ethan suggested.
"Oh, right! Allow me to introduce you to my friend, David's daughter..."
"It's really nice to meet you. I'm Melissa Shield." Melissa Shield introduces herself.
"Of course, some of you know her." All Might told them.
"Yep, we've known her since she's with us." Kara states with a smirk.
Mace, Claire, and Henry nods with a respond, knows Melissa since she's with the Justice League. Jason Todd approaches her, shook her hand.
"I'm Jason Todd, I'm known as Red Hood." Jason introduces himself.
"Tamao Oguro, I go as Delta." Tamao adds.
"I'm Eri, I'm the new Robin." Eri adds.
"Huh? You're the new Robin?" Melissa inquires surprisingly. "Aren't you too young for being a Hero?"
"Dick became Robin when he's 12 and became Nightwing years ago." Jason told her. "She broke his record."
Eri could only responds with a pout, crossed her arms as they chuckled at that.
"Anyway, I'm a first student at U.A. High School, Izuku Midoriya." Izuku introduces himself, shakes her hand.
"In the Hero Course?!" Melissa exclaims surprisingly, but smiled. "So, that's how you know Uncle Might."
"I'm his student." Izuku replied with a nod.
"He'll be a great Pro one day." All Might boasted with pride.
"If the right amount of training and formal combat training, he will be." Henry told them, earned their attention. "You see, his match at the Sports Festival is quite disappointed because of his sheer recklessness and a lack of formal training. If you ask me, I'd say he still has long ways to go before he could be a Pro Hero."
Izuku face faulted down to the ground, but All Might cringes which he knows that he's right about this, though it's a bit harsh.
"I'm afraid Professor Palmer is right, you still need to learn how to use your powers." Ethan points out bluntly.
"Right..." Izuku groans, stands up.
"But still, I believe I'm meeting someone that Uncle Might teaches!" Melissa said surprisingly, smiled as she leaned towards him. "You must have a promising future."
"Well...I hope so, but I have a lot to learn...tons of training..." Izuku protests with a blush, waving his hands in defense.
"So, what kind of Quirk do you have?" Melissa asks, began to walk around him as she inspected him which she's impressed with his well-built body.
"Elijah, I like to have a word with you in private." Ethan told him.
Elijah can tell that Ethan wants to have a serious talk with him, which apparently, it's something. While they're distracted, both Ethan and Elijah left the scene. Jason, Tamao, and Eri knows that the two were leaving and to have a private talk, decided not to follow them since they need some time alone.
After Elijah and Ethan were far off distance and out of an earshot, the latter spoke.
"How long have you been Red-X, Elijah?" Ethan questions with a serious glare.
It got Elijah surprised that Ethan knows that he's Red-X which he never told his brother about it. Then again, Ethan did figure it out on his own since he's been trained from Bruce Wayne. Elijah regained his composure, then spoke.
"So, you knew I was Red-X?" Elijah inquires calmly.
"It didn't take long for me to figure it out. I've gained access to the police files to learn more about our family, besides related to Tamao and Uncle Iwao, I've learned that you were my brother along with Uncle Nick and Aunt Mandy. These two try to take the money for themselves, I can understand because of their greed. But what I don't understand is why you became Red-X, now I know why." Ethan explains, crossed his arms. "You said it yourself that you were using money to travel around the globe."
Elijah is shocked and impressed of Ethan's deduction while figuring out on his own.
"You're right, I used money for traveling to learn martial arts and gadgets, but it's also to get away from them." Elijah admits. "And to look for you. The reason is because after learning about our parents death, I was hoping I can find you. But after seeing you as Batman, I guess Bruce taught you well and I'm glad he took care of you."
Ethan was surprised that Elijah knows that his brother took up Bruce's mantle as the new Batman, which he too has done some investigation on his own.
"With that look on you face, you're not the only one who does your homework." Elijah states with a smirk. "I've done some a little digging of my own."
"I see." Ethan said, regaining his composure. "Which brings me to another question, why as Red-X?"
"After I was continuing my training, I noticed an old suit that resembled as Red-X. And let tell you, that suit has seen better days since it's taken a beating, big time. So, I took that suit and did some major repairs and some upgrades. It's a pain in the ass to get rid of those gadgets I don't need, which it took me months to get it all fixed up." Elijah told him with a chuckle. "I don't know who made that suit, but all I know is I was taken someone else's mantle as the new Red-X. For me to fight crime and saving lives."
"And how long?" Ethan inquires. "And why the League of Assassins?"
"4 years." Elijah answered simply. "I don't work with them, but for some unknown reason, an assassin named Talia Al Ghul came to me. She asks of me to watch over you after hearing about Bruce Wayne killed by the hands of Ra's Al Ghul. Guess she's pissed about it."
"I guess it explains about Ra's Al Ghul being killed because of Talia sent the assassins to kill him." Ethan states.
"No doubt." Elijah replied, but decided to change the subject. "But I think we should head back with the others; they'll probably wonder where we have gone."
Ethan agreed with a nod as he and Elijah heads back. All Might and the others noticed that the Summers arrived.
"What was it you two boys are discussing?" All Might inquires.
"Nothing too important." Ethan answered simply, earned a nod from.
"Well then, shall we get going?" All Might suggested, earned a nod from them.
Melissa ran over to her oddly shaped pogo stick and grabbed it. The pogo stick glowed, before shrinking down into a small little box, which she placed it in her pocket.
"If we hurry, we can surprise papa in his lab." Melissa said. "This way, Uncle Might. It's right over here!"
Melissa ran off down the path ahead of them. The Bat Family, the Justice League, Tamao, Izuku, and All Might just shrugged at each other as they part ways, the league head towards the city while the Bat Family, Tamao, Izuku, and All Might follow her.
However, unbeknownst to them, a group of men had come onto the I-Island together. A man named Wolfram pulled out a phone and called a specific number.
"We infiltrated the Expo without a problem." Wolfram said in a deep, melancholic voice. "So, when do the goods arrive?"
"3 PM. You'll find them at Gate 66."
"Then we'll be waiting." Wolfram said, hung up and ending transmission.
Meanwhile at the top floors of an advanced building, David Shield dazed at an old picture of All Might, when he's much younger. Dressed in one of his classic costumes, the man that would become the Number 1 Hero was posing with his right fist pointing towards the sky. The was one of the most iconic pictures of the hero and helped him be seen as the Symbol of Peace.
David smiled fondly at his old friend. It just seemed yesterday, he and All Might were riding around in his car, being late for class because there was some new crisis that All Might had to stop.
David is a tall man of an average build with aqua eyes and light brown hair. He has light wrinkles on his face from age. His hair is short and messy with two prominent tufts for bangs, and he has a short goatee. He wears wide-rimmed, square glasses, a blue button-up, pale pants, a dark belt with a metal buckle, and navy sneakers with a red accent and light soles. On his left arm, he also wears a dark watch along with a wedding ring.
"Excuse me, uh, Professor?" A voice of a man named Sam called him, earned his attention.
Sam is an older, heavier with short blond hair and blue eyes, which are normally kept closed. He wore a typical business attire, a suit and tie outfit with slacks, suspenders, and shoes.
"I finished putting the equipment away, just so you know." Sam informed him with a smile.
"Already? Thanks so much, Sam." David thanked him as they walked out of the room.
"Why don't you get out of the lab and go have lunch with Melissa?" Sam suggested.
For the past few days, David had been hard at work and would rarely come out of his office. Melissa, on the other hand, sometimes go to the academy for her research, and sometimes she goes on crime fighting or missions as Bluebird.
"She's busy today at the academy." David replied.
"Oh? I thought they were on break for I-Expo." Sam states surprisingly.
"Yes, but she's doing independence research." David said, proud of her daughter's determination.
"You know me, I am my father's daughter." Melissa said after appearing in the doorway of the office. "For better and for worse."
"Melissa, hey." David said, confused as to why his daughter was here and not at the academy.
"Hello, Melissa, it's good to see you." Sam said politely.
"Right back at you, Sam. Thanks for always taking care of papa, since he does nothing but work her constantly." Melissa said jokingly.
"Come on, I'm not that bad." David said sheepishly when Sam chuckled. "To what do we owe the pleasure?"
"Oh, you'll see." Melissa said with a cheerful grin. "Since you completed the first stage of your research, I invited someone here to celebrate with us?"
"Who would that be?" David inquires curiously.
"A person you dearly love." Melissa told him, looked back at the doorway.
David's eyes widened when he exactly knows who it is.
"YES! I AM HERE! Shaking with emotion for a heartfelt reunion!" All Might yelled as he gave a pose.
"Toshi...All Might?!" David exclaims, dropped his jaws.
"Is...it really you?" Sam asked.
Both men were shocked that the Number 1 Pro Hero was standing in front of them. All Might laughed as he rushed over to his friend.
"I came all this way just to see you, Dave, old buddy!" All Might exclaimed, picking him up, twirling him around and setting him back down.
Still in shock, David tripped and fell on the floor.
"Well, papa, are you totally surprised?" Melissa asked as she pecked over All Might's shoulder.
"U-Uh, yeah." David answered as his lips formed after recovering from All Might's entrance, smiling happily. "Completely astounded."
"We both had Melissa to thank for that. Man, how long has it been?" All Might asked, helping him up.
"Oh, now come on! Don't make me say it, I already feel old enough, ya jerk." David said, hitting him in the chest as the two old friends laughed.
"You do have a point!" All Might said, turns to David. "Glad to see you again, my friend."
"Agreed, I missed you too." David said with sincere as they gave each other a fist bump.
All Might then turned to the Bat Family, Tamao, and Izuku, who's standing back and watching the reunion.
"Let me introduce you to someone..."
"David Shield, I know who he is." Ethan interrupted with a smile. "He usually visits to the Wayne Enterprises to do some business with Bruce by making some equipment for the law enforcers. Bruce came to I-Island to raise funds and to expand here."
"Ah yes, Bruce occasionally visits here for fundraising." David said, remembering Bruce Wayne. "It's good to see you again, Mr. Wayne."
"Likewise." Ethan said, shook his hand. "Now, as you're aware, I'm here to raise the funds for the I-Island in his place as the new board member and a new CEO of the Wayne Enterprises."
"Thank you, Mr. Wayne." David thanked him with a smile. "It's always nice of you and Bruce to raise funds for us to continue the research."
Ethan responds with a nod.
"And I would like to introduce you to someone." Ethan said, turns to his team. "This is Elijah Summers, Jason Todd, Eri Wayne, and Tamao Oguro."
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Shield." Elijah greets, shook his hand. "I'm also here to raise funds for the I-Island."
Tamao, Jason, and Eri also greets David while shaking his hand. Izuku on the other hand...
"I know him! Professor David Shield!" Izuku exclaims, astonished. "A top scientist in the research world who receive a Nobel Quirk Prize! He was All Might's partner when he lived in America! And he's a genius when it comes to costumes! All Might's 'Young Age', 'Bronze Age', the 'Silver Age', and of course, the 'Golden Age'! He's the inventor who created each of those iconic looks! I never thought I get to meet him in real life! I'm just so move!"
Ethan, Jason, Eri, and Tamao just sighed in annoyance, knowing of Izuku's hero geekiness while Elijah just shook his head, amused. Melissa just giggled of his reaction.
"It seems I don't have to introduce myself." David said sheepishly, causing Izuku to apologize with a bow. "No, don't apologize."
All Might let out a silent cough which it got the Bat Family and Tamao noticed that he's fixing to be out of time, but David noticed it as well.
"Listen, it's been a long time. Can you guys give All Might and me a little time to catch up?" David asked.
The Bat Family and Tamao responded with a nod.
"Yeah, of course." Izuku replied.
"Melissa, why don't you take them on a tour around the Expo?" David suggested to his daughter.
"Sure thing, papa. Sounds like fun." Melissa said with a smile.
"You're not busy?" Izuku asked, surprised that she's willing to take them around the Expo.
"No, I'm honored to show off our work to a future hero and a future CEO of the Wayne Enterprises. Right this way." Melissa said, leading them out of the office.
"Thanks, this is so nice of you!" Izuku said as they walked out of the office.
"Sam, you should take a break too." David suggested.
At the hallway, the Bat Family, Tamao, Izuku, and Melissa were out of the office so both All Might and David some alone time to catch up, which it's more than that.
"Ethan, I heard what happened to Bruce few months ago. And I'm sorry for your loss." Melissa said sadly, turns to Ethan.
Melissa Shield did remember of her time at the Wayne Manor when she was a child, which she was usually with her father for business and she was trained with him and Barbara in martial arts, gadgets, mechanics, tactics, and more. She's been good friends with Ethan and the Gordon siblings, while taken up Harper's mantle as the new Bluebird to fight crime at the I-Island.
Ethan nods with a reply.
"Bruce Wayne is a good man, and a father figure to me ever since our parents were murdered." Ethan told her seriously, leaving Melissa. "I learned that Elijah is my brother when I gained access to the police files before leaving in Japan."
"Which I was surprised that he had a brother, and he didn't tell us about it." Jason points out. "Then again, he usually kept us in the dark."
"Hey, not his fault. He doesn't like to talk about our family or any of the family issues." Elijah cuts in. "Hell, I didn't want to talk about whenever they wanna know."
Jason understands what Elijah told him, which he knows what it's like to live in a rough life in the streets.
"Well, I bet Elijah didn't tell you that he's my fiancé and we've been dated for a year." Melissa said with a smile.
"No, but it didn't take long to put two and two together." Tamao said. "And that pretty much gave it away."
Elijah couldn't help but blush with a few shades of red while Melissa giggle, earned a glare from him.
"Anyway, I've also heard that you have Eri as a new Robin." Melissa told him.
"Huh? Who told about that?" Eri inquires surprisingly.
"Commissioner Gordon." Melissa answered. "She told me about you, Tamao, Grayson and Jason came back from the dead because of the Lazarus Pit."
"Guess you like to keep in tabs." Jason states with an impressed smirk.
"But anyway, what do you want me to call you? By your real name, or do you have a Hero one already?" Melissa inquires, turns to Izuku while changing the subject.
"Well, actually...why don't you call me Deku?" Izuku suggests with a smile.
"'Deku'?" Melissa repeated. "That's kind of a strange nickname. You can stick with 'Melissa' for me."
"That reminds me, how long have you been as a Bluebird?" Izuku asks which it got Melissa shocked. "Ethan told me about you as the new Bluebird and you fight crime at I-Island."
Melissa can tell that Ethan told Izuku and All Might about her time as a crime fighter, decided to tell him.
"I've been as a Bluebird for only 2 years now, and I kept it a secret from papa. The reason is because I want to do more than just invent gadgets, I want to become a crime fighter since Bruce and Barbara told me about themselves as the original Batman and Batgirl, they even told me about the Justice League." Melissa explains. "I was inspired of their heroic deeds and their legacy, so I took up Harper's mantle and became the new Bluebird. But after hearing about Bruce died by the hands of Ra's Al Ghul, I was devastated. But papa told me that I have to look forward and not look back, so I continue defending the I-Island while carrying out Bruce's will."
"I see." Izuku said sadly, remembered of Bruce's death.
Ethan, Tamao, and Eri also remembered of Bruce's death back at the U.A. Sports Festival event.
"But anyway, let's head out so I can give you guys a tour." Melissa suggested with a smile.
"See you two soon." Sam said and left the office, leaving All Might and David alone.
As soon as the door closed, smoke started to erupt from All Might as he got into a coughing fit. Unable to hold it any longer, he collapsed on his knees and reverted back into his true form.
"Hey, are you alright, Toshi?" David asked with concern as he knelt down next to his friend.
"Thanks for catching it...the amount of time I can keep my muscle form going has gotten even shorter..." Toshinori said as he coughed into his mouth.
"You said it was bad in your e-mail, but I had no idea it was this serious." David said, wondering how his friend could have gotten to this point.
When he last saw him, he was able to keep it up for a day, rest for an hour, and then do it again. But this was worse then he could've imagined.
