Tour on I-Island
I-Island
Soon as the elevator reached the first floor, and they walked out together. Melissa told them about the members of the Justice League they met. She explains to them about Henry Palmer, who's the son of Ray Palmer, also known as the Atom. Henry Palmer is gifted of his intelligence, like Ray, and became a graduate of physics in the University of Connecticut, earned a PhD as a physician. She also told them about Mace Dugan is the son of Mike Dugan and the grandson of Patrick 'Pat' Dugan, also known as S.T.R.I.P.E. Despite his muscular physique, he graduated at the University of Pennsylvania and became an engineer because of his knowledge of engineering. She also told them about Claire Whitmore, the daughter of Courtney Whitmore, also known as Stargirl. She completed her high school education and she's currently a college student at the Gettysburg University.
Of course, the Bat Family and Tamao knew about Kara Zol-El, also known as Supergirl, which they've heard stories about her as a member of the Justice League, Superman's sidekick, and born in Krypton. Though, it got them wondering how she survived from the fight against the Legion of Doom.
They then took a bus that drove across the bridge that led back to the first city. The one that the Bat Family, Tamao, Izuku, and All Might first saw when entering the island after the brief discussion about the 'Most Wanted' criminals. This city was known as the entertainment district, and it's meant to show the visitors a good time and all the attractions and new technology that I-Island's scientists had to show the world.
"Holy whoa...This place is amazing!" Izuku exclaims, gazed up at the attractions. "I believe the entire island is man-made! It's nuts!"
"And there's normal city stuff, about everything you could need." Melissa told him as they stroll around the city. "The big downside is we can't travel."
"Really? Why not?" Izuku asks, turned to her with confusion.
"The scientists and their families have to keep their work in top secret. It insures there aren't any leeks." Ethan cuts in.
It makes sense to the Bat Family, Elijah, Tamao, and Izuku. All of the inventions that were being made were all likely still in their experimental phase. And there were the inventions that were completed and would be presented to the public. If the island couldn't risk having villains infiltrate it, then they need to have all the systems in place to stop them.
But it got Izuku's attention as he gasped in excitement, noticing a Kaiju Hero named Godzillo.
Godzillo has the appearance Ghido Goji, the Heisei Godzilla design from Toho's 1991 movie, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah. He possesses a very dragon-like appearance with a long tail and clawed paws for hands, although his head more closely resembles that of a bear. He's covered in dark grey scales and appears to be of quite wide build, most prominently around his legs and torso. His costume consists of a white coat with a high collar, ripped to match its tattered hem, and a pair of white baggy pants. Red flame patterns decorate his collar and most of the lower portion of his pants, all lined with yellow, and he wears a thick, golden belt with similar patterns around his waist. His clawed feet are decorated with bands of spikes, and he also wears silver-plated kneepads.
"It's the Monster Hero: Godzillo!" Izuku yelled with a huge grin.
"Okay, I find this insulting when the big guy has Godzilla Quirk." Jason said with a glare, crossed his arms. "And there's no way he had the same power as the 'Godzilla' from the movies."
"No, it's just his Quirk that has an appearance of Godzilla, nothing else." Tamao told him. "And if there's someone who has the Kong Quirk..."
"Hey, I'll have you know, Godzilla vs Kong is an epic monster show." Jason interrupted, points his finger at her. "Both of them put up a hell of a fight. Godzilla have won the fight, but they respect each other's strengths."
It got both Jason and Tamao growled each other, butting each other's heads when Ethan bonked both of their heads.
"What's that for?!" Jason and Tamao yelled, rubbing their heads.
"We're in public, don't make a scene." Ethan told them.
However, the civilians were too busy staring at Godzillo with awe because of his Quirk when he threw a peace sign for the crowd of his fans.
"Nice, I bet it's sponsored flew him out here in the Expo." Melissa states, walk towards them and looking at Godzillo.
"Why is that?" Eri asks curiously.
"They invite heroes to showoff new gear and sign autographs." Melissa explains as they saw more Pro Heroes from around the globe walking around, greeting fans and talking to each other. "Looks like the events are in full swing."
"This place is incredible!" Izuku said, amazed.
"Yeah, if you count the Pro Hero and the media coming for the peanut gallery." Jason said in annoyance, earned an elbow in the rib from Tamao. "What?!"
"It's fine, but still, a lot of people of the Pro Heroes will be at the big party tonight." Melissa informed them. "But I'm sure you already knew about that, huh? I mean, since you came all this way with Uncle Might."
'Oh, I guess that's why he told me to bring formal clothes. Glad I found some.' Izuku mentally thought, pondered.
"That, and given him and Izuku a brief detail about Wolfram and his group." Ethan said seriously. "Melissa, we should get our gear ready in case something happens."
Melissa replied with a nod since she knows that Wolfram and the group are probably here on I-Island. But just as she's about to speak, the sound of the communicator coming from her pocket.
"Oh, I have to take this." Melissa said as she walked away while pulling her communicator. "This is Bluebird."
"Melissa, we found them, they're with Sam. He's informing them of the plan to steal a headset." Kara informed her.
"Did Professor Palmer got up to where the Quirk Amplification Device is hidden that I've given the blueprints to you guys?" Melissa inquires.
"Yeah, Mace by passes the security. Henry is working on the headset, but it's only one." Kara told her. "Guess that's what happened when your old man invented something dangerous."
"He only invented the headset for Uncle Might, so he'll continue his status as the Symbol of Peace. But we all know that it's inevitable. I know Dad had a reason, but what he's doing isn't right." Melissa points out, sighed. "I just hope he understands what I was planning."
"Hey, he will, just give it time." Kara suggested, changing the subject. "Anyway, he says he's working the wires on the inside of a headset. Whatever he's doing, he's got the knack of it just like Ray."
Melissa lets out a small giggle.
"We'll finish our part and meet you at the party tonight." Kara told her.
"Alright, see you then." Melissa replied, ending transmission as she places the communicator on her pocket.
Melissa then approached the Bat Family, Tamao, Elijah, and Izuku.
"Sorry about that, I was having some discussions." Melissa apologizes which the Bat Family, Tamao, and Elijah weren't convinced. "So, you guys got to check this out."
Melissa was pointed at the large blue building.
"I've never seen so many items in one place!" Izuku exclaimed in delight when he, Melissa, Tamao, Elijah, and the Bat Family entered inside of the pavilion.
It was a beautiful blue museum that showcased super-advanced support equipment for the Pro Heroes.
"Hey, look at this one!" Melissa exclaimed, pointing at the small manta ray-like jet on the display.
There was even a video that showed off the abilities of this jet.
"This multipurpose vehicle can fly like a jet, of course, but it can also maneuver underwater." Melissa explains.
"So cool!"
Melissa then showed them an advanced diving suit with tentacles and an almost alien looking head floating in a water tank.
"You can wear this diving suit and drop up to 7,000 meters in the ocean." Melissa told them.
"Yeah, but Aquaman does it better than that." Jason states, crossed his arms.
"So deep!" Izuku said.
Over at another invention, Melissa placed a helmet on his head.
"This helmet is equipped with 36 different sensors so you can see all the way around your body." Melissa explains as sensors appeared in front of Izuku's eyes.
"That so much!?" Izuku exclaimed shockingly.
"But...we'll stick with our own gadgets." Tamao said when Izuku pulling off the helmet and placing it back on the table. "So, did Professor David really make all of these?"
"No, but almost everything here was created using different inventions that papa patented." Melissa explained as they walked around the pavilion.
There were so many people with them that came to see all the luxurious inventions.
"Wow, I bet you're proud of him." Izuku said.
"These support items will help heroes around the world. Who knows how many people will be affected because of his hard work." Melissa told him.
"You really look up to him, huh?" Tamao asks with a smile, earned a nod from her.
"And I think it's great that your dad is someone you look up to like this." Izuku states, earned his attention.
"That's because it's my dream to become a scientist, just like him." Melissa told him with a smile as they stopped in front of a large mecha. "But after hearing of Bruce died, I carried out his will and try to balance my daily basis between studying and crime fighting."
"Then that means you're the student here on the I-Island." Jason states.
"I'm a third year." Melissa replied.
"The I-Island Academy is the school for all those that wanted to become a scientists, and only the best minds were accepted into their ranks." Ethan explains.
"You must be a smart cookie." Tamao states with a smirk.
"Oh no, I've still got a lot to learn." Melissa said with an embarrassed smile, shook her head. "Honestly, I should be studying much more."
"I feel the same." Izuku said before looking down at his fist. "If I'm gonna be a hero, like All Might, I've gotta train even harder."
"Uncle Might really holds a special place in your heart, doesn't he, Deku?" Melissa inquires, turns to him. "I still can't get over how much you were kicking out earlier."
"That's because he's a fanboy." Ero told her with a smirk.
"Eri!?" Izuku exclaims with a blush of embarrassment.
"What? You just couldn't shut up about the Pro Heroes or some tactics." Eri said innocently.
"She got you there, dude." Elijah adds with a smirk, causing Izuku to grumble.
"Looks like you're having fun, Deku." The voice of Ochaco said with an unusual expression.
The Bat Family, Tamao, Izuku, and Melissa turned around and saw her in her costume.
"Uraraka, what are you doing here?!" Izuku questioned in shock.
Though, he's both happy and shocked that one of his classmates was able to come to I-Island, but noticed that she's staring at him.
"It looks like you're having fun." Ochaco repeats with an emotionless tone and expression.
"Um, you already said that." Jason points out when they heard someone clearing their throat as they looked to see two more familiar faces.
"Yaoyaorozu!?" Izuku exclaims.
"You appeared to be having a good time." Momo said when both she and Jiro shared the same looks, making Izuku even more nervous.
"Guys, I heard everything." Jiro said with her earphone jacks lifting up and twirling around.
"And you know it's not polite to spy on us." Ethan told her with a glare, making Momo and Jiro flinched.
"Are these your friends?" Melissa inquires curiously.
"Uh, yeah, these are my classmates...and I didn't tell them I'd be here." Izuku replied with his hand on the back of his head, but turns to the three girls. "Oh, guys, this is my friend, Melissa. She was just showing us around the Expo a little bit."
"It's nice to meet you." Melissa said with a smile.
"I suppose we owe you an explanation." Ethan said with a smile.
After an explanation from Ethan, they walked out of the pavilion and headed over to one of the cafes in the city. The girls sat down together at an outdoor table with their beverages and chatted. The Bat Family, Tamao, Elijah, and Izuku were sitting at a different outdoor table, and much to their relief, they're getting along pretty well.
"You're carrying out Harper's mantle and became the new Bluebird?" Jiro asks surprisingly.
"After Harper retired her crimefighting and became an electrical engineer, I took up her mantle." Melissa explains. "I've been a crime fighter for 2 years now."
"So, who taught you how to fight?" Ochaco questions.
"Bruce and Barbara taught me." Melissa answered. "They taught me not only martial arts, they also teach me how to make gadgets, engineering, mechanics, and driving."
Jiro, Momo, and Ochaco were astonished.
"Though, I have to use either a sea boat or a jet to get there in order to fight the criminals." Melissa said, not telling them that she's part of the Justice League, and decided to change the subject. "But enough about me, you three really got to work with Pro Heroes? Like, out in the field?"
"Just normal training and a few patrols." Ochaco said, waving her hands in front of her.
"I helped out with a hostage crisis, but only the evacuation part." Jiro said as she took a sip of her drink.
"That's still amazing!" Melissa exclaimed, astonished that the girls got to experience what it's like being Pro Heroes.
"Somehow, I ended up in a TV commercial for a hair product." Momo said, sighed with embarrassment which she still not too proud about it.
"Sorry to hear that." Tamao said with sympathy.
"Oh, that reminds me. How are Emily and James?" Melissa asks, turns to the Bat Family, Tamao, and Elijah.
"Why do you ask them yourself?" Jason suggested as he throws the communicator to her. "The Commissioner suggested for keeping you in touch."
Melissa smiled with a nod as she turns on the communicator, revealing the rest of the Bat Family, Lita, and Iwao.
"Hey Melissa, it's been a long time." James greets with a smirk.
"Hey, James. Its good you see you guys." Melissa greets back. "And you must be Dick Grayson."
"Yep, that's me." Dick replied. "Sorry we couldn't get to see you on the island. Some of us have to say behind and keep an eye on the city."
"It's fine, I figured most of you stay in the city for patrolling and keeping an eye on the criminals." Melissa said with a smile. "So, what's happening over there?"
"While we were patrolling the city and about to take down a criminal, one of the bikers beat me to it and give him a beatdown." Emily explains. "I don't know how, but for some reason, he did a favor."
"Any idea why?" Ethan asks seriously.
"No, but we've done some digging on the biker. He's affiliated with the Sons of Japan Motorcycle Club. They're the Japanese Biker Gang that were make-up from the former Pro Heroes, Ex-Vigilantes, and former Villains. There were also people who're casted out by the Society." Dick explains. "They only protect the innocent from criminals while try to change the Society."
"Sounds like these guys are trying to make the world a big difference." Jason states.
"Yeah, and they obviously have a code. I've encountered by one of them when I was gathering information about the black market." Lita told them. "They told me that any non-members who caught wearing a patch only to scare of intimidate, would receive a beating."
"But do you have any idea of who's training them?" Tamao inquires.
"Well, they're mostly trained in Okinawa for martial arts, while the Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club trained them not only combat and martial arts, but gadgets and all that." Emily explains. "We'll let you know if anything comes up."
The Bat Family, Tamao, and Melissa nods as they ended transmission.
"Sounds like it's gone hectic in Japan." Jiro said.
"Guess they're making a statement to the League of Villains, but it'll take more than that." Elijah states. "As far as I know, the League of Villains had a lot of enemies. And the biker gangs are making things easy for us."
"That don't mean we can trust them." Ethan told him seriously. "Once we get back in Japan, we need to find the Sons of Japan Motorcycle Club and find out why."
They replied with a nod, understands that Ethan had a reason for not trusting the Japanese biker gangs, but once they get back, they'll be needing some answers from them.
"Anyway, we were thinking about going to check the pavilion where the Academy exhibit is tomorrow." Jiro states, changing the subject while brighten the mood.
"I'm really excited!" Ochaco added.
Izuku then noticed a beverage being placed on his table.
"Thanks for waiting!" The voice of Denki said which it got their attention.
"I know that voice." Izuku said, turns to Denki and Mineta, who's wearing a waiter outfits. "Kaminari!"
"Is that, Mineta?" Ochaco asks surprisingly when Mineta gives the girls a wink, much to the Bat Family and Tamao's annoyance.
"What are you two doing here?" Jiro asked, just as surprised as them.
"That need an extra waiter staff, and since it meant a free trip to the island, we applied to work." Denki explains with a thumb up, then turns to Mineta. "Right?"
"We get to explore the Expo on our breaks, and we make some money." Mineta told them. "Plus, there's a chance we'll have passionate encounters with some on of the cute-"
Mineta stopped his perverted speeches when he and Denki laid eyes on Melissa.
"Oh my God! I think I'm in love!" Mineta exclaims with a whisper.
The two boys pulled Izuku aside and started whispering to him. The Bat Family, and Tamao already knows of what they're planning, Elijah glares at the two while his blood is boiling from their perverted stares. The Class 1-A girls looked at them exasperatedly while Melissa looked confused.
"Hey, Midoriya, who's that high voltage hottie over there?" Denki asked with a perverted grin.
"Don't be greedy, introduce us!" Mineta said, wiggling his fingers in a 'gimme' fashion as he drooled from the corner of his mouth.
"Are they also your classmates?" Melissa asked Momo in a whisper.
Hearing this, both Denki and Mineta rushed over and posted in front of her.
"That's right!" Denki said.
"We're basically Pros!" Mineta adds.
'Keep telling yourself.' The Bat Family and Tamao mentally thought with a deadpan look on their faces.
"WHY ARE YOU TWO SLACKING OFF?! YOU WANTED TO MAKE MORE MONEY DIDN'T YOU, BUT YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO WORK HARD?!" Tenya yelled as he jetted towards Denki and Mineta.
The two perverts screamed in fear as Tenya rushed towards them. Rushing by Midoriya and the others.
"Iida?!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"You're here too?" Ochaco asked.
"I come from the long line of Heroes." Tenya said as he stood in front of Denki and Mineta, who're on the ground and shivering in fear. Then, he turned and waved his arms robotically. He then lowered his arms with his stoic expression. "It's to be expected that we've received an invitation to the Expo, but my family was busy. So, it's just me"
"I wondered if you'd be here." Momo said, before placing her hand on her chest. "I received an invitation because my father's a shareholder and some of the Expo's sponsor companies. It's so fun to get to go to the preview."
"Yeah, and she had a few extra plus ones, we basically gambled for them." Jiro added.
"How'd you do that?" Jason inquires.
Flashback
"No hard feelings whoever wins! ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS!" The rest of Class 1-A's female students yelled as they threw down their hands.
Momo stood to the side and watch.
Mina, Tsuyu, and Toru chooses scissors while both Ochaco and Jiro beat the with rock.
"MY LIFE IS OVER!?" Mina yelled as she glared at her scissor hands.
Not only she was missing out on going to the opening of the Expo, but she's also missing out on spending time with her friends.
Flashback Ended
"So, after the impartial game of 'chance', the two of us ended up joining the fun as her guests." Jiro explains, leaning on Ochaco with an arm on her shoulder.
"That sucks." Jason states.
"Yeah, but the other girls are here. They just can't visit the preview." Ochaco said.
"Are they really?" Izuku inquires.
"Uh-huh. We're all planning on to look around together once the Expo opens up to the public tomorrow." Momo replied.
"Here's the thought, why don't I show you girls the sights?" Melissa offers, causing the girls to gasp with excitement.
"You sure you have time?" Ochaco asks, earned a nod from her.
"That's awesome!" Momo, Ochaco, and Jiro exclaimed in joy.
"Please take us with you!" Denki and Mineta pleaded.
"Hey, eyes off of my fiancé, you pervs!" Elijah shouts with an angry glare, making both Denki and Mineta flinched in fright.
Izuku, Tamao, and the Bat Family smiled at them, before there was a sudden explosion off in the distance that rocked the rock. The force of the blast caught everyone's attention as they looked at the direction it came from.
"What was that noise/What the hell was that?" Izuku, Jason, and Elijah asked, seeing that it came from the rock formation that was set in the middle of a circle road which they can see smoke.
The others quickly went to where they heard the explosion. As it turned out, the rocks were actually part of an arena with a rocky terrain. Izuku ran over to the railings and looked down. There was a colorful platform with a red bridge, and in front of the platform was a rocky area that had smoke billowing from several places.
"A clearance time of 33 seconds! He's in 8th place!"
When the smoke cleared, it revealed to be Ejiro with his Quirk activated.
"Kirishima!" Izuku exclaimed when he saw him.
"Looks like he's showing off his Quirk." Elijah said with a glare, crossed his arms. "Not surprised."
"Oh, hush." Melissa shushed him with a playful giggle, turns to Izuku. "So, I'm guessing he's from U.A. as well?"
"Yep, he's a student like the others." Tamao answered.
"He's also in the same class as us." Izuku adds, turned to her.
"Please welcome our next challenger!"
Izuku looked back down towards the red bridge and saw who's up next which it got him gasp in fright.
'You've got to be kidding me.' Jason, Tamao, and Ethan mentally thought with a groan when they saw Bakugo.
Bakugo walked up the center of the stage and got ready to take the course.
"The villains have been reset! Ready...go!"
Not a moment later, Bakugo blasted up into the air and propelled his way towards the first set of robots. One by one, he destroyed the faux villains with ease. Zigzagging from robot to another as he made his way to the top.
"DIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!" Bakugo yelled, blasting another robot.
'Die?' Izuku, The Bat Family, Elijah, and Tamao mentally thought with a sweat drop.
After Bakugo completed his course, the announcer was amazed by his abilities and her tone showed it.
"Look at that time! Only 15 seconds! 1st place!"
Bakugo grinned to himself as he landed back on the stage and started walking away.
"Hey, isn't that Midoriya, Oguro, and the Bat Family in the stands?" Eijiro asks.
It got Bakugo's attention and looked in the direction Eijiro was pointing. Izuku chuckled nervously while scratching the back of his head nervously, but the Bat Family, Tamao, and Elijah just glared at him. Bakugo landed on the railing and hung off it, glaring at them while Izuku flinched.
"DAMMIT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Bakugo yelled.
"We were invited, Bakugo. I'm the new board member and the new CEO of the Wayne Enterprises." Ethan told him, glaring back at Bakugo. "Also, I'm here to raise funds on the I-Island and get to expand the business for the Wayne Enterprises. But if you know what's good for you, you back off."
"DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME WHAT TO DO?!" Bakugo yelled but earned a punch in the face by Jason and Elijah as he crashed against the bridge.
Bakugo was about to jump up back at the railings, but flinched when he noticed a dark glare from Jason and Elijah which they're given him a warning to back off.
Momo went over to the railing and looked down at Eijiro.
"So, Kirishima, you two got asked to I-Expo as well?" Momo asked curiously.
"Nah, Bakugo was invited since he got 2nd place at the Sports Festival. I just tagged along with him." Eijiro said with his usual manly grin, then pointed towards the battle course. "You guys gonna do this villain course or what?"
Bakugo then jumped back at the railings, turned to Izuku.
"Don't even try it! There's no way you'll get a better score than I did!" Bakugo growled.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Izuku agrees nervously.
"I'm not so sure, only one way to find out I guess." Ochaco said with a ponder.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Izuku repeats, but flinched.
"Come on, Izuku, don't be a wuss. Just get out there and prove him wrong." Jason suggested with a smirk, smacks him in the back. "Grow a backbone and go."
Bakugo jumped over the railing and stumped up to Izuku, shoving Tenya aside as he got into his face.
"Just hurry up and get your pathetic attempt over with, you damn nerd!" Bakugo growled with a tick mark on his face. "Then you get outta here!"
"Right! I'll do that!" Izuku replied nervously.
"Just don't blow your gasket when he beat you." Ethan warned him with a smirk.
"Because karma will bite you in the ass." Jason adds.
Izuku then jumped over the railing, walking onto the stage. The announcer quickly recovered and got the course ready for him.
"We've got a new challenger coming in at the last minute! Will he end up on top, or fail in front of the entire Expo?"
Izuku then activated his Full Cowling, spreading 10% of One For All throughout his body. Red vein-like lines coursed up his body from feet and spread throughout his body, causing his body to glow with green electricity aura coursing around him.
'If I'm doing this, I'm gonna go for it! One For All: Full Cowling" The activation caused the gust of wind to blow from his body. Everyone in the arena could feel it, with the announcer almost being knocked off her feet.
"Ready...and go!"
Izuku ran forward in a burst of speed before running up the side of the boulder before jumping high into the air. The Bat Family, Tamao, Elijah, and Melissa watches him as he posed in the air with his legs bent up and feet together, and clenching his fists. In the air, it took a millisecond to count how many enemies there were. He spotted his first target and punches into the face of the robot and jumped away, leaving it exploded.
Spotting the second one, Izuku punches the other. And then punches the third, fourth robots. Izuku leaped in the air and deliver an uppercut to the fifth robot. He then finishes the sixth robot with a punch.
"An incredible run! He's in 2nd place in 16 seconds!"
While most of the crowd cheered for him, Melissa stared at Izuku with her eyes wide as saucers. The Bat Family, Tamao, and Elijah were impressed of his progress, but knew that Izuku came close.
'He has such explosive speed! He also have destructive power! It's just like Uncle Might's! But...' Melissa mentally thought, but frowned which she could tell something was off about Izuku.
The Bat Family, Tamao, and Elijah knows that Melissa is about to figure out of Izuku's power that was similar to All Might, but didn't realize of how he got that power.
"Wow!" Ochaco cheered when Izuku arrived.
"That was a good showing, Midoriya." Tenya praises him.
"It's a close one, you almost beat his record though." Ethan said with a small smile.
"I didn't think I'd be able to get so close to Kaa-chans time." Izuku said with a grin.
Apparently, he can only go to 10% Full Cowling without injuring himself since he does it a number of times during his time at U.A. High.
"What?!" Bakugo yelled angrily, turned to Izuku. "No way! I'll go again and blast your score to ash!?"
All of a sudden, there was a loud tremor coming from the stage. The group turned and gasped in shock.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! THIS IS INSANE!"
Apparently, it was Shoto created an ice glacier that covered all of the rocks and the faux villains.
"14 SECONDS! THIS GENTLEMAN HAS JUMPED TO THE FRONT OF THE PACK!"
Shoto just let out a breath of cold air.
"Todoroki's here to?!" Izuku exclaimed, stared at Shoto in astonishment.
"You bet he is." The voice of Touya said as he approached them with a smirk. "He ask me to tag along. So, here I am."
"Nice to see you to join us." Tamao said.
"Another one from U.A.?" Melissa asked.
"Yep." Momo replied.
"Your class is amazing. You're gonna be such great Heroes." Melissa praises the classmates as they smiled at her.
'Wouldn't say that.' Touya, Elijah, Tamao, and The Bat Family mentally thought, but not saying it out loud.
However, the moment was ruined by Bakugo when he was beaten, finally snapped. Bakugo was about to launch himself over when Ethan chopped the back of his neck, knocking him out unconsciously.
"I take it Endeavor was invited?" Ethan questions.
"Yeah, but Shoto's representing him." Touya told him with a nod. "But word on the street is that 4 'Most Wanted' criminals are here. So, I'm on surveillance while my team are on patrolling."
"I see." Melissa said seriously. "Well, they're already inside of the lab working on the headset. I'll let you know when they got their part finished."
"Right." Touya replied.
Wolfram and his men made it to Gate 66 and took care of the guards and staff there, knocking them out and tying them up. Wolfram then pulled out his phone and dial the same number as before.
"I've picked up the goods as planned." Wolfram informed to the person on the other line. "What? All Might's here now? It doesn't matter. We can handle him, no problem."
Wolfram hung up the phone and watched as his men opened up one of the shipped containers.
"Of course he had to show up." Wolfram said.
Meanwhile at the lab, David was hard at work examining All Might's health. The Hero himself was laying inside of a pod that monitoring his vitals with scanners and tubes. Sitting at his computer, David observed the measurements of All Might's vitals on the screen. He then clicked on All Might's Quirk levels and gasped in horror. The graph showed his powers going down at an even and consistent pace. But according to the graph, there was a dramatic drop in that power.
Even in the pod, All Might could tell his friend was in distress at his results. He opened the pod and pulled the mask off his face.
"I don't get it, Toshi!" David said, before turning towards his friend and pointing at the graph. "Why are your Quirk levels going down so dramatically? I know your seriously injured by All For One, but to suddenly get these numbers absurd. What in the world happened to you?"
All Might coughed into his fist.
"I suppose if you're for a long time, your body starts to fall apart." All Might said, lying through his teeth.
All Might hated it, wishing he could tell his friend the truth about the One For All. But if he did, he'd be putting David and Melissa in danger, All For One would come after them. But he knows that Melissa could take care of herself, but All For One is way too powerful for her to handle.
"At this rate, the Symbol of Peace will disappear." David said bitterly, clenching his fist in frustration. "The only reason Japan is able to keep its crime rate at 6% is because of your presence. Other countries have about 20%, and some are even worse than that. Honestly, a part of me wished you'd never leave left, America could use you."
All Might could only sigh as he got up.
"There's no need for you to be so pessimistic, Dave." All Might said, walked over and placing a hand on his shoulder. "The world is full of capable Pro Heroes, not to mention the good people like you who support them. Besides, I can still be All Might for a few hours a day. I'm not dead yet."
"Come on!" David said in frustration. "What if a monstrous villain appears and you're not capable of saving us again?"
"Listen, just in case that day comes, understand that I have no intention of stepping down." All Might told him, started thinking about his successor.
In his mind, he thought of an image of Izuku Midoriya that will rise and take his place. He also thought of an image of the Bat Family, Tamao, Lita, the Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club, the Boondock Saints, Teen Titans, and Justice League standing side by side and making the world a bigger difference.
