Attack on I-Island Part 1

"The I-Expo preview will be closing at 6 PM. Thank you for coming. Enjoy your night."

After the announcement went through, Denki and Mineta let out a sigh of relief as they slumped to the floor in front of the closed doors. The sun was beginning to set over the horizon and they're exhausted.

"The Expo isn't even open to the public yet." Mineta grunts while Denki groans. "If we're this slammed now, will we ever get to rush?"

"Shut up! I don't wanna think about it!" Denki whined as he placed his face in his hands.

Out of nowhere, Elijah came in front of them, extended the water bottles to the two.

"Looks like you two could use a drink." Elijah offered.

"Thanks." Denki said as he and Mineta took them.

At the same time, the Bat Family, Tamao, Class 1-A, and Melissa walked over to them.

"Hey, Mineta! Kaminari" Izuku called them, earned their attention. "How did your shift go?"

"You should be proud of the work you've done today." Tenya told them, held out two invitations to them.

"What are these things?" Mineta asked.

"Invitations to the big Expo reception later tonight." Momo told them as Elijah went over to stand beside the others.

"We figured you guys worked hard here and thought you've earned it." Tamao adds.

Mineta and Denki's bodies started to tremble as they both took the invitations.

"There's...the party?" Mineta asked with a shaky smile.

"These are for us?" Denki adds, looking like he's about to cry.

"Melissa took pity on you for some reason." Jiro told them with an amused smile.

"She figured that you could use a break." Ochaco added.

"I had a few extras." Melissa said with a nervous smile. "Please, I'd love for you to have them."

"Kaminari..."

"Mineta..."

"A BEAUTIFUL ANGEL HAS REWARDED US FOR OUR HARD WORK!" Mineta and Denki shouted with joy as they tearfully hugged one another.

"I heard there will be quite a few Pro Heroes attending tonight's party as well." Tenya informed them, turned to the others. "It's imperative we don't tarnish U.A.'s reputation. We'll change into our formal clothes and go as a group. Everybody, meet in Lobby 7 of the central tower ay 6:30 PM sharp! Don't you dare be late. I'll contact Todoroki and Bakugo and share this information. Thank you, you're dismissed!"

And with that, Tenya sped off to get himself ready for the party. The other students went their separate ways and went to prepare themselves for the party tonight. The Bat Family, Elijah, and Tamao were heading to the hotel to get themselves ready for the party. Melissa heard the vibration from her pocket as she walked a few steps away, pulling out the communicator.

"This is Bluebird." Melissa said with a serious look.

"Henry finished the headset, took a little longer than we thought it would be." Kara informed her. "We're inside of the motel to get ready for the event tonight. Sorry you missed the action."

"It's fine, I've got action my own anyway." Melissa replied. "Anyway, what's happening on Wolfram and the others?"

"Nothing yet, all I'm telling you is they're remain on standby." Mace told her. "Guess we'll have to wait until they arrive for the party."

"And while I'm on the surveillance room, looking through the monitors, those security guards at the hallways were knocked out hours ago. Looks like they've already made their move." Claire added. "They're right now waiting for orders."

"Alright, I'll go get my gear ready." Melissa informed them as she ends the transmission.

Melissa then walk towards Izuku, who's waiting for her.

"Who's calling you?" Izuku asks curiously.

"Just a friend, nothing to worry about it." Melissa told him, waving her dismissive hand. "There's something I want to show you, if you don't mind."

At the Central District, the Bat Family, Elijah, and Tamao were heading to the hotel. Tamao pulled out a communicator.

"Hey, Grayson, anything?" Tamao asks.

"They're at the main Gate 66, standing by. I've already sent those gears to you guys. They should be arriving to your coordinates on I-Island right about...now." Dick said as the capsules landed at the district of the island. "Never leave you guys empty-handed."

"Thanks, Dick." Ethan said, ending transmission. "Let's suit up."

And with that, the Bat Family and Tamao are suiting up while Elijah brings out his watch to call out his suit of his own.

While in a darkly lit room, the criminals broke off into smaller groups. One group captured a bunch of men dressed as security guards. They tied them up and gagged them before throwing them into the closet room.

"We found 5 guards, but they're restrained for now." Daigo informed him. "The plans a go."

"Keep them bound, but don't kill them. Start working on the security system." Wolfram informed him.

"Yes, sir." Daigo replied before sitting down at the computer. "We'll begin infiltration now."

With the plan all set, Wolfram smirks evilly.

"Now the fun can begin." Wolfram said as he placed his metal mask on, covering his face.

The gates began to open in front of him and his group.

"Get ready to move." Wolfram ordered.

Melissa led Izuku back into the Central District of the island and brought him into a large building that had the appearance of a school.

"This is the I-Island Academy, where I spent most of my time, and to the left here is my own personal research laboratory." Melissa explains as the automatic door opens, revealing a research lab. "I'm sorry it's such a mess."

Izuku was impressed with the setting. There were shelves with books and tools, a work bench in the middle of the room, a desk, a 3D printer, and a couch.

"Wow, it look so professional. I can't believe you can get to study in a place like this." Izuku states with a smile.

There were so many advanced contraptions and technologies in Melissa's lab. It's like being inside of the office of an actual support hero. Izuku paused for a moment when he looked up and saw many awards and trophies on top of a bookshelf. All had Melissa's name on them and all were first place.

"So many trophies...you must be really talented." Izuku told her.

"Well, actually, not long ago, I was getting terrible grades because mostly of crime fighting and having trouble on balancing between that and studying." Melissa explains, opening a door in her lab that led to a couple of drawers and shelves. "That's why I've been studying so hard while balancing my daily basis. I've got to be a good student and a crime fighter if I wanna be a Hero."

"You mean like a Pro?" Izuku asks.

"Oh no, I gave up that dream a while ago. I may not have a Quirk, but I can still go fight against criminals, thanks to Bruce and Barbara's training methods." Melissa answered, causing Izuku's eyes widen when he heard her say that.

"You don't have a Quirk?" Izuku asks again, turned towards some photos on one of the shelves and looked at them.

"Nope! After I turned 5, and I still didn't have one, I've got taken to the doctor. And they said I was in a minority of the population that would never develop a power." Melissa explains.

'Exactly like I was.' Izuku mentally thought, looked at Melissa sadly.

She was exactly like Izuku, Ethan, Elijah, Tamao, Lita, and the Gordon siblings. Back when he was a child, Izuku didn't get his powers and he and his mother, Inko, was sad about it. He cried about not having a Quirk like his frenemy, Bakugo. Izuku could only imagine that she felt the same way. But seeing of Ethan, Lita, Tamao, and the Gordon siblings trained by the heroes came before them like: Bruce Wayne, Barbara Gordon, Iwao Oguro, and Selina Kyle, which made Izuku realize that even without a Quirk, that he might still be a Hero. Seeing all the work her father did to support other Pro Heroes must have fueled Melissa's desire to not only support the Hero, but also become a crime fighter as the new Bluebird.

In a way, they were the same. Izuku was inspired by All Might and Melissa was inspired by her father, but only she didn't get to witness what Ethan and the others had to. But unlike Izuku and Melissa, Ethan has been through much worse by losing his parents and Bruce Wayne, who's the first Batman, the co-founder of the Justice League, and a hero in Gotham City.

"Gosh, I'm sorry...surely it must be hard." Izuku said when Melissa came out with a box.

"What do you mean?" Melissa asks, earned his attention.

"Oh, I...It's just to be told you don't have something that comes naturally to everyone else must be really painful." Izuku told her, looking down with a frown.

Melissa smiled, understands what Izuku is telling her.

"Well, I was definitely in shock for a while. But luckily, I've got a lot of help from Mr. Wayne and Commissioner Gordon when they trained me when I was 6." Melissa told him. "And I had another goal that was close to my heart, well besides fighting criminals."

"What was that?" Izuku inquires curiously as Melissa looked at the photos on her shelf.

"To be like my father." Melissa said, following by the photos from right to left as they showed David marrying his wife, to giving birth to their daughter, Melissa as a young girl with her father, David receiving the Nobel Quirk Prize, and many other photos. "Papa didn't have a Quirk that would let him be a Hero, but he supports Uncle Might and other Heroes with the power of science. He's still fighting for peace, just indirectly."

"And you want to be someone who does that, too?" Izuku asks.

"Yep, that's how I'll make a real difference. Or at least I hope so." Melissa answered with a hopeful smile.

Turning back towards Izuku, she opened the box she was carrying. Presenting Izuku with a red wristband that has a black button in the center of it.

"This is a support item I made a while ago after observing Uncle Might using his power." Melissa informed him when Izuku took his glove as she grabs his wrist.

"What is it?" Izuku questions.

Melissa wrapped the wristband around Izuku's wrist.

"Try pressing the button here on the back." Melissa suggested, pointing to it.

Izuku then glances at the wristband, pressed the button. The wristband glowed in a white honeycomb pattern, before suddenly expanding and wrapping around his arm. It had a spiral design and seemed to be made from the same material as her pogo stick.

"A glove?" Izuku asked, examined it.

"As far as names go, I was thinking Full Gauntlet." Melissa said proudly, but looked at his arm with concern. "When we first met, I saw your scars. It looked as though you'd injured yourself. Then at the Villain Attraction, I noticed you were limiting yourself on purpose. So I was thinking, maybe your Quirk is too strong and therefore, your body can't handle its full power."

'She figured it out.' Izuku mentally thought with shock when Melissa smiled.

"I made the gauntlet strong, it could withstand Uncle Might's punches three times. So, I think it'd be a perfect fit for you too." Melissa explains. "You should be able to use your full power if you have it on."

"For real? All of it?" Izuku asks surprisingly, looking at the gauntlet.

"Please, take that with you." Melissa suggested.

"But I can't!" Izuku protests, looked at her. "It's important to you!"

"That's why I want to use it." Melissa points out. "Just promise you'll be a true hero someday and you'll never stop helping people in need."

Izuku looked at her with wide eyes. Surprised that she's willing to trust him with the Full Gauntlet, despite just meeting him. In the end, he smiled back at her and nodded his head.

"Promise." Izuku replies as Melissa giggled.

A moment later, Izuku's phone started ringing. He pulled it out and answered it.

"Yeah? Hello?" Izuku said.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, MIDORIYA?! IT'S WAY PAST WHEN YOU WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE?!" Tenya yelled which made Izuku realzing that he's gonna be late for the party.

When the elevator dinged, the doors opened and Izuku stepped out. He was wearing a pale tan shirt with maroon dress tuxedo over it, a black bowtie, and dark maroon pants. With how poor he was, it's amazing he was able to afford it. The boys were waiting there in the lobby. Both Denki and Mineta were wearing their waiter clothes, Tenya was sporting a dark blue suit with a yellow tie, and Todoroki had on a white suit and a tie. The same color as his hair.

"Sorry about that, you guys...Where is everybody?" Izuku questions, noticed there were missing 13 people.

"They're not here yet." Tenya answered with a visibly annoyed look on his face as he robotically waved his arm. "Does a proper meeting time mean nothing to you people?"

The elevator from behind dinged and opened, saw the sight of Ochaco. She was wearing a pink dress with red high heels, stockings, and a pearl necklace. She was also wearing a white corsage with a black bow on the side of her head.

"Sorry I'm late! It took me a while to get ready." Ochaco apologizes as she stepped out of the elevator.

"Best night ever!" Denki and Mineta exclaimed perversely as Izuku blushed with a smile.

The elevator dinged again, and the last 2 female students were revealed.

Momo was wearing a lime green dress that hugged a mature body nicely and showed off a generous amount of cleavage. Her spiky ponytail was held up by a yellow band. Jiro was hiding behind her.

Jiro was a mini skirt along with an open black leather jacket over a purple and pink dress. She had a choker and gray leggings. Her hair was nicely done at it was now swept to the side, with a pink flower placed on the right side of her head.

"Apologies for the tardiness. Jiro's feeling shy." Momo said as she and Jiro exited the elevator.

"Jackpot! Yes!" Denki and Mineta cheered in perverse.

"This is fancier than anything I've ever worn before." Jiro told them. "It feels like a costume."

"I'm just glad you're not in a T-shirt." Denki said, given her a thumb up.

"Even the jacket can't ruin it." Mineta mumbled under his breath.

This, of course, got on Jiro's nerves, as her earphone jacks dashed into their ears. Causing them to scream in pain from the loud sound waves and Izuku to sweat drop.

"Shut up!" Jiro snapped.

"Why would you do that? It was a compliment!" Denki cried.

"No it wasn't." Jiro hissed.

"This is my first time in formal wear." Ochaco said nervously as she walked up to him. "I just borrowed something from Yaoyarozu."

"It looks really good...Like, perfect." Izuku said genuinely with a smile.

"Oh, Deku, stop! You don't have to flatter me so much!" Ochaco exclaimed, waving her arm at Izuku sporadically.

Even though, she turned away from him it couldn't hide the blush on her face after being complimented by him.

"Contain yourself!" Tenya yelled.

That's when the elevator dinged again and everyone turned to see who it was. It got both Denki and Mineta immediately had perverse grins on their faces.

"Oh, good! I thought I was gonna miss you guys! Let's get downstairs to the party!" Melissa said as she jogged over to them.

She has her hair up in a high ponytail that was tied with a large black bow with her bangs swept back underneath a red headband, while her face-framing was left loose. She had golden earrings which hang from her earlobes and she didn't wear her glasses. As for the dress, she's wearing a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline. The upper half of the dress is deep blue, while the skirt is a pale powder blue. Separating the two segments is a black cloth belt with a large white rose that sits slightly to her left, covering where the material is tied. The belt matches the black ruffles underneath the knee-length skirt. On her feet, she wears a white heels with straps and an open toe. Her toenails have painted a shade of coral pink, the same as her fingernails and lips.

"The headliner has arrived!" Mineta cried in bliss.

"Mineta, I can't take this much beauty! I think I might actually died!" Denki said in tears of joy as he and Mineta were on one knee.

"These tickets were a mistake." Jiro said in annoyance.

At the main control room, the three men were left behind to hack into the security system in order for Wolfram and his men take over the I-Island. But unknown to them, the vent was quietly opened, and the knockout pellets were dropped down to the floor as it began to bring the smoke out, knocking out the group of men. Red-X and Atom dropped down to the floor as they dragged them out of the security room and into the closet, tying them up with the rope.

"That takes care of them." Red-X said.

Atom began working on the security system, looking for Wolfram and his group.

"What are you doing?" Red-X questioned, turns to Atom.

"I'm hacking into the security system in order to find Wolfram and his group and give our team the coordinates." Atom explains without looking at Red-X while working on the security, goes through the monitors when they noticed Wolfram and the group of men were scattered around the area. "Supergirl, I found Wolfram and his group, I'm given you the coordinates right now."

"Batman and the others are gonna need the coordinates. But knowing him, he's probably a few steps ahead." Red-X states, patching through the communicator from his mask. "Batman, where are you at?"

"We're of the ventilation system, heading down at the Reception Hall on 2nd floor. Red Hood and Delta are heading that direction." Batman explains.

"Well, Atom is given them the coordinates right now. Long story, but they'll be needing it." Red-X told him. "I'm fixing to head out soon."

"No, stay in the control room in case they're coming here." Batman informed him. "Also, keep an eye on Swordkil. He might be breaking free when he finds out."

But just as before Red-X could retort, they heard a loud noise that was coming from the door when they turned to the left. They saw a blade impaling the door, meaning that Swordkil is trying to pry it open.

"Sometimes I hate it when you're right." Red-X said with a deadpan expression.

"Sue me." Batman remarked.

At the Reception Hall on the 2nd floor, the party was currently being held. The Pro Heroes that were invited and scientists of the I-Island came together to meet and greet one another. All Might and David were with them, laughed together as they mingled with their colleagues. However, Nikita Waller is also invited to the party since she got the invitation to I-Island, but she knows that something's off.

A few minutes into the party, the announcer walked on the stage and grabbed the microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to I-Expo's opening night reception. We at I-Island hope you enjoy yourselves. Now, I wonder if we can get All Might, the Number 1 Hero up here. He's visiting from Japan. Wouldn't you like to hear him say a few words? Come on! Maybe a round of applause would help." The male announcer said, clapping his hands together as the crowd cheered. "Please, join us on the stage."

All Might looked a little confused and David turned to his friend.

"Really, Dave? Could've warned me." All Might said nervously, not expecting that he would give a speech.

"This was bound to happen once they found out you were in town." David told him, chuckled.

"All Might, just go with it. We're heading at the Reception Hall soon, just stall some time when we get there. Wolfram is heading your direction along with his men." Batman warned him.

All Might then nods with an understanding.

"You owe me one." All Might said jokingly, walked towards the stage. "Thank you for inviting me, it's truly a pleasure to be here. Formal speeches aren't my thing-"

However, the announcement was cut off when the doors were opened at the Reception Hall and the groups of men entered with their guns raised. The civilians gasped and screamed when they saw this, realizing that it wasn't part of the party because it's a take-over. Wolfram is now confused, wondering what is happening at the control room and why aren't they putting the tower on lockdown. Though, he'll have to deal with it later since they're right now taking over the hall.

"In case you haven't caught on, the security system is under our control now." Wolfram said with a sinister grin. "I know we've got a lot of Heroes in here, but if you decide to make a scene."

Wolfram motioned his hand towards the screen as the monitors changed to show a live feed of various places peacefully walking which it got him confused, yet furious. All Might laughed which it got Wolfram and his groups attention.

"Why are you laughing?! This is a hostage takeover!?" Wolfram growled angrily.

"There are several things you failed to realize why the civilians from the outside of the Central Tower. One: A certain Hero is a few steps ahead of you, after I have been informed of your arrival. Two: The reason is because you didn't think this would happen and you went on ahead, try to take over this tower without knowing of who's responsible of foiling your plan." All Might explains with a smirk. "Why? Because Batman is here!"

Suddenly, the lights at the Reception Hall was completely shut off along with the monitors. The sound of gun firing was heard along with the sound of punching and kicking which neither Wolfram nor his group are wondering who's knocking them out. But when the lights and the monitors were back on, the Bat Family, the Justice League, Nikita, and Delta were here along with the group of terrorists knocked out, leaving Wolfram, Nobu, and Daigo snarled in anger. The Pro Heroes and the civilians were shocked of their arrival at the Reception Hall.

"Perfect timing, Batman." All Might said, giving him a thumb up.

"Sorry to crash into the party." Red Hood apologizes sarcastically, aiming his twin pistols at Wolfram. "Since you guys didn't invite us, we've decided to invite ourselves in."

'What's going on? Why are they here?! And how did they know of their arrival?!' David mentally shouts with panic.

"What's wrong, Dave? You seem a little shaking." All Might states, looked down at David which it got his attention. "Is there something you're not telling me?"

David is now trying to come up with an excuse when Nikita aimed her SW1911 pistol at his head.

"David Shield, you're under arrest for hiring those 'Most Wanted' criminals and endangering civilians." Nikita told him with a serious glare, which it got the Pro Heroes and the scientists muttered, wondering what she means.

"Ah, you didn't know? Well, I was also informed by Batman, warned me of these four being hired by none other than...him." All Might told them, points his finger at David which it got them shocked. "Dave, you've got nothing to hide! We already know of your plan! So, Dave, is it true?"

David Shield widen his eyes in shock as he turns to Batman, who gives him a brooding glare, glaring right back at him. Above of the Reception Hall, Melissa, Shoto, and Izuku already know of Davids plan, but Tenya, Jiro, Momo, Ochaco, and the two perverts dropped their jaws with dread and shock.

Now it got them questioned, will David Shield ever admit of his plan.
