Those that saw the idea on my Deviantart page, I made some small tweaks to it.
Summary: Ten years have passed since Eda and King were petrified. Now, Lilith is trying to atone for her mistakes while also trying to prevent a war. Things get hard when an old enemy returns for revenge.
Late at night, Lilith sat at her desk, looking through a new book. It has been ten years since Eda and her little demon pet have been petrified. She was too late to save Eda, and no one has seen the human since her battle with Belos. The only thing that's known is that Luz took the key with her, likely returning to the Human Realm with it. Ever since then, she's secretly been looking for a way to reverse the effects of petrification. She knows she won't be forgiven, but she can at least give Eda a second chance to live freely. Suddenly, the lights went out.
"Must've been from the storm." Lilith said.
It wasn't common, but not unheard of for the castle power to go out during rough storms. Lilith got out of her chair and was about to make a light spell before she heard something move behind her. Lilith looked behind her and saw darkness.
"H-h-hello?"
No answer. Lilith heard movement from her side and quickly looked in the direction of the noise.
"Who's there?"
No answer. Lilith's eyes have adjusted to the dark enough to see her staff leaning against her desk about a foot away. She began to reach out when a sharp piece of metal was thrown between the staff and her hand, making her stop short of grabbing her staff. Lilith felt a nervous lump in her throat.
"I-I-I don't know who you think you are, but pranking me is punishable by death." Lilith said, sternly, as is her legs weren't shaking.
In the darkness, two glowing red dots appeared. Lilith began to show more fear.
"Y-y-you... don't know... who you're messing with."
Lilith made a spell circle and a fire spell at the glowing object. She made the fire go and didn't see the glowing dots anymore. Lilith let out a sigh and made a light spell to see. She looked at her desk and grabbed the metal object stuck in the wall. She pulled it out and took a look at it.
"It looks like it's folded at the center. It almost reminds me of..." She looked at the wall and saw a shadow, "An owl."
Lilith quickly turned around and was grabbed by the neck. The person destroyed the light spell and sent the room into darkness again. Lilith felt her eyes get heavy as her assailant tightened their grip on her neck. Lightning cracked the sky, letting Lilith see the person before fully falling unconscious. Lilith felt like all her blood was rushing to her head when she started to come to.
"Wake up."
Lilith groaned at the voice.
"WAKE UP!"
Lilith looked at her position and screamed. She was being held upside down, off the Castles roof, with the only thing keeping her from plunging into the pit of spikes was the masked person.
"Lilith Clawthorne, it's time we talked."
