Summary: Pretend to be Luz, that shouldn't be too hard, right? Vee learns the hard way, when she gets cornered by someone Luz knew, and her cover is in trouble.

Vee was listening to Luz talk about her latest adventure on the Isles. Though her portal didn't access the Human Realm the way she wanted, she was able to talk to her family.

"And that is how I got this scar!" Luz said happily through the mirror.

Luz lifted her hoodie, revealing a large scar that was clearly less than a week old, as it was still healing. Vee grimaced at the large scar.

"Yeah, don't tell mom." Luz said, lowering her hoodie.

Vee heard her watch beep and looked at it.

"Sorry, Luz, I have to go." Vee said.

"Where are you going?"

"Oh, just to hang out with the head cheerleader, she asked me to meet her at 'The Usual Spot', whatever that is."

"The head cheer leader?" Luz asked, "You mean Tracey?"

"Yeah, I don't know what she would want. I mean, it's not like we're friends."

Luz's eyes widened. Tracey was her friend, her only friend. She was incredibly smart, strong... and dangerous. If she wanted to meet at "The Usual Spot" that meant only one thing.

"Vee, you have to listen to me, do not go-"

Vee slid the mirror door of the closet, preventing Luz from talking. Vee grabbed her blue hoodie and slipped it on, leaving it unzipped. She grabbed her hat and took a quick look in the mirror. She closed the closet and walked out.

"Talk to you later, Luz!"

Luz started to panic. There was no telling what Tracey would do if she knew that Vee wasn't actually Luz.

"Is there any other reflective surface nearby?" Luz asked, before coming up with an idea, "Camila Noceda."

Luz left the mirror and appeared on her mom's phone.

"Mom!"

Camila took out her phone and looked at it.

"Luz, well this is a surprise." Camila said, "What can I do for you?"

"Mom, you need to stop Vee!"

"Why?"

"She's going to meet Tracey!"

"The head cheerleader? That's wonderful."

"No, it isn't. She might know that Vee isn't actually me!"

"Mija, that's ridiculous. She hasn't done anything suspicious."

"That's the point! Tracey knows what I would do, she's helped me several times! Where did you think the back up snakes came from!?"

Vee was almost at the spot to meet Tracey. An old abandoned factory on the edge of town. She doesn't know why she wants to meet her here, but this is where she was told to go. She went inside and saw Tracey, facing away from her.

"Hey, Tracey." Vee said, hoping she got the name right.

"Hello." She said, "Do you know why I called you here?"

"No."

"I noticed something... off about you." Tracey said, turning to face Vee, "That camp really did a number on you, huh?"

"Y-y-yeah." Vee said, getting nervous about this.

"So, what's the same about you? Still like Azura? Still like magic? Still like... Demons?"

"T-t-those things, they're just make believe." Vee said.

Tracey walked up to her and got close to Vee, to the point their noses touched.

"You aren't Luz." Tracey said, "Luz would never stop believing in Demons."

"W-w-what are you talking about? Demons are just a myth."

Tracey stared at Vee. Horns grew out of her head, her teeth sharpened, and wings grew out of her back.

"Luz knows that Demons exist, because Luz is the only one that knows I'm a demon." Tracey fully turned and wrapped her tail around Vee's neck, "Who are you?! What have you done with Luz!?"
