Busted!
After school, while Clyde, Stella, Liam, and Zach were out looking for Lincoln, Rusty just went straight home. He walks into his house and immediately plops down on the couch in the living room with a frown on his face.
"Aw, man; now my friends and Lincoln's family know the photo's fake." said Rusty. He hears his phone chime; he takes it out of his pocket and looks to see a post that was made by Lincoln's sister, Lori, that revealed that the Sam and Lincoln kissing photo was fake. "Dang it, now everybody's going to know; looks like I photoshopped that picture for nothing."
"What was that?" a voice says from behind Rusty. He turns to see his father, Rodney Spokes, glaring at him with his arms crossed. A nervous look appeared on Rusty's face.
"H-Hi, Dad; how long have you..." Rusty began to say.
"Long enough!" exclaimed Rodney.
Later at the Loud residence, the Loud family, except Lincoln, walked into the house after searching the entire city for their missing son/brother.
"Where can Lincoln be?" asked Lynn Sr.
"We've searched everywhere; Gus's Games and Grub, the comic book store, the arcade at the mall." said Lori.
"I searched the dump." said Lana.
"Why would Lincoln be there?!" asked Lola. Lana shrugs in response.
"At least it wasn't a total loss." said Lana as she takes out a moldy old burrito from her pocket and eats it.
"GROSS!" said Lola before she puts a hand over her mouth like she's about to throw up.
"I hope Linky's okay." said Leni.
"I hope he didn't leave Royal Woods." said Rita. Lisa pulls out a tracking device out of her backpack.
"Lisa, what is that?" asked Lynn Sr.
"A while back I put tracking chips in all of you and Lincoln." replied Lisa.
"I knew you put tracking chips on all of us and not just Mom and Dad!" said Lori. Lisa looks at her tracking device to avoid the angry glares of her family.
"Strange; I can't seem to find Lincoln's signal." said Lisa. "Maybe he did leave Royal Woods." As the Louds looked at each other, worriedly, a loud knocking came from the front door. Rita opens it to reveal Rodney holding Rusty by his shirt.
"Hi, Rodney." said Rita.
"Is Lincoln home?" asked Rodney.
"No, we can't find him anywhere." said Rita.
"Is something wrong?" asked Lynn Sr. Rodney glares at Rusty.
"Rusty, tell them!" said Rodney as he pushes Rusty forward.
"Okay, okay." replied Rusty. He looks away from the Louds while crossing his arms. "I'm the one who edited and put up that photo of Lincoln and Sam kissing."
"It was you?!" exclaimed Lola.
"How could you do something like that to Linky?!" asked Leni.
"I wanted to make Stella break up with him." replied Rusty. "I liked Stella, and Lincoln gets together with her, even after we agreed to never try to win over Stella again. I came here to get some dirt on him to show Stella to make her break up with Lincoln."
"Couldn't Linky just shower and wash the dirt off, so he'd be clean again?" asked Leni.
"Leni; 'getting dirt on someone' means finding some information that would embarrass him and ruin his reputation." said Lisa.
"Oh." replied Leni.
"Anyway, when I saw Lincoln with Sam, I recorded them, and used the moment that looked like they were about to kiss to make the photo." said Rusty.
"Rusty?" said a familiar voice. Rusty turns to see Stella with a shocked look on her face.
"H-Hi, Stella; what brings you here?" asked Rusty.
"I came by to see if Lincoln's family found him so I can apologize for not believing him about the photo, and then I hear your little confession." said Stella as she glared at him.
"So, what did you think?" Rusty asked, hoping Stella would be so flattered by his actions that she would want to be his girlfriend.
"On one hand, I'm very angry with you for what you did to your own friend and all the damage your photo caused!" said Stella in an angry tone of voice while lifting up one hand.
"And the other?" asked Rusty.
"Oh, my other hand will be busy in a few seconds." said Stella.
"Doing what?" asked Rusty.
"Helping the first one do THIS!" exclaimed Stella as she grabs Rusty's neck with both hands and begins strangling him.
"Stella, stop!" said Lynn Jr as she grabs Stella's hands and pry them off Rusty's neck.
"Why?!" asked Stella.
"Your hands aren't strong enough!" exclaimed Lynn Jr as she began strangling Rusty herself. Lola runs over to Rusty and kicks him in the shin repeatedly.
"Poo poo!" exclaimed Lily as she pulls off her diaper and throws it at Rusty, hitting him on the head.
"My perfect hair!" exclaimed Rusty.
"Please; a diseased rat with mange has better hair than you; believe me, I know, I've seen plenty of them!" exclaimed Lana. Lynn Jr releases one hand from Rusty's neck and punches him across the face, making him fall onto the floor.
"You have no idea what your photo caused!" said Luna. "Lincoln was devastated after Stella broke up with him! He was bothered by other students and the press so much that he isolated himself in his room! I slapped Sam across the face for nothing!"
"I slapped Lincoln across the face for nothing!" said Stella with tears in her eyes.
"Luna was so devastated by what she thought Sam did and breaking up with her that she kept herself in her room for days!" said Lori.
"I just wanted to break Lincoln and Stella up." said Rusty as he was doubled over in pain. "I didn't think it would cause problems for you and Sam."
"I am, totes, posting this!" said Leni as she takes a picture of Rusty and starts making a post revealing that he made the Lincoln and Sam kissing photo.
"Anyway, did you find Lincoln yet?" asked Stella with hope in her voice.
"I'm sorry, but we couldn't find him." said Lori.
"I've tried using my tracker to locate him, but with no success." said Lisa. Stella falls to her knees and cries.
"Don't worry." said Luan. "We'll find him."
"I hope so." said Stella. "Have you found Sam yet?"
"Not yet." said Luna. "I hope we find her and Lincoln soon, so we can get things back to the way they were before." Rusty starts to get up off the floor, getting Lola's attention.
"GET HIM!" shouts Lola as she and the rest of his sisters attack him, causing another fight cloud.
Well, Rusty has been revealed as the one who made the photo and he's getting the well-deserved beating of a lifetime. Will the Louds and Lincoln's friends (except for Rusty who will most likely be hospitalized for a while.) find him and Sam? Wait and find out.
