The next day Lincoln started to train his body by running up and down parts of the mountain and lifting rocks all while wearing his mask
at some points he thought he was gonna run out of oxygen but he persevered and kept going
soon he reached the top of the mountain and saw a pool of water
"this must be where you got the water from." Lincoln said to pon pon who nodded
then noir landed on a sign
"one of the wonders of kitakami: the crystal pool." Lincoln read "well at least we know where we are."
soon they began to walk back until Lincoln heard something that sounded like crying
"what was that?" Lincoln asked
he looked around and saw another creature wearing a head covering with a drawn on face it looked to by crying
"are you alright?" Lincoln asked
"mimik kyu Mimi." The creature said sadly
" I'll take that as a no." Lincoln said "are you lonely?"
"Mimi." The creature said while nodding the best it could
"well I can be your friend!" Lincoln said "but first let's look under this cover."
the creature tried to stop him but he looked under and saw...
the most adorable thing second only to pon pon
"awww you're adorable!" Lincoln said
(how the hell is this kid not dead?) mimikyu thought to herself (wait he thinks I'm adorable?!)
"well then welcome aboard!" Lincoln said to the creature after putting down it's covering "I'm gonna call you Mimi!"
ruff, chilled, noir and pon pon all were thinking the same thing: (HOW THE FUCK IS THIS KID STILL LIVING!??)
"now let's head home." Lincoln said
when they got back to the cave he noticed more footprints
(who is coming here?) Lincoln thought to himself as he entered
he then noticed that someone had left berries here
"what the..." Lincoln said
ruff smelt them to see if they were poisonous but they weren't
(I guess that kid left a gift.) pon pon thought to herself
after eating the berries they went to sleep
the next day
Kieran was sneaking off with his furret and dipplin to see if the ogre ate the berries
once he got there to his surprise not only did he see the ogre but he saw some other pokemon and a whole person too
it was a boy with white hair and a dirty orange shirt
they were all sleeping
"it's real..." Kieran said quietly "it's real."
then the boy began to stir
he let out a yawn before noticing Kieran
"oh what the-?!?" He said
"oh sorry- I didn't mean to startle you I Just wanted to see if the ogre ate my gift." Kieran explained
"ogre? You mean pon pon?" The boy asked
"you call it pon pon?" Kieran asked
"yea I mean that's all it says." The boy responded as the ogre began to wake up
"pon?" The ogre said looking at Kieran
"it's so nice to finally meet you." Kieran said
"wait are you the person who keeps on coming in here while we are gone?" The boy asked
"yes I've always wanted to meet the ogre!" Kieran said
"well could you not? It's kinda weird." The boy said
kkeran thought about it for a moment before realizing that it was kinda creepy
"I'm so sorry!" Kieran said
"chill granted you wouldn't if anyone lived here." The boy said
"true." Kieran said
"just don't just barge in ok?" The boy said "by the way I never got your name."
"Kieran." Kieran introduced himself
" I'm Lincoln." The boy now known as Lincoln said "mind telling me why you're calling pon pon "the ogre"?"
"well that's what everyone in kitakami calls it." Kieran explained "wait you don't know about it's history?"
"no... in fact I kinda don't know anything my memory is shot." Lincoln said
"you have amnesia?" Kieran asked
"yea." Lincoln said " I didn't even know my name at first."
"that's awful." Kieran said
"yea, so tell me what you know." Lincoln said
"well a really long time ago there was an ogre who was feared in kitakami then one day 3 Pokémon gave up their lives to take the ogre's masks and weaken it those Pokémon are known as the loyal 3." Kieran explained "but I always believed that the ogre was nice and was just misunderstood." Kieran said
"alright then two questions." Lincoln said
"ask away." Kieran said
"one what the heck is a Pokémon and two it has more than one mask?" Lincoln asked
"wow you really do have amnesia." Kieran said "they are the creatures who inhabit the world."
"neat." Lincoln said
"as for your second question yes there are 3 more masks." Kieran said
"ok gotcha." Lincoln said
"wait a minute we can prove that the ogre is nice now!" Kieran said
"as much I would like to believe that is true we can't even if the story you told me isn't true it must've still killed those 3 for a reason." Lincoln said "and everyone is probably stubborn."
"yea probably." Kieran said "well then how about a Pokémon battle?"
"Pokemon battle?" Lincoln questioned
"yeah it's where two Pokémon battle it's really fun and helps the Pokémon get stronger!" Kieran said
"well then I'm in!" Lincoln said as he grabbed his mask and put on
"I only have two Pokémon so can you only use two?" Kieran asked
"sure!" Lincoln said
"furret!" Kieran said as his furret stepped forward
"uhh ruff!" Lincoln said as ruff stepped forward
"alright furret use headbutt!" Kieran said
furret ran up and head butted ruff
"uh bite!" Lincoln said
ruff bit down on furret
"use swift!" Kieran said
furret launched a bunch of little stars at ruff
"uhh rocks?" Lincoln said
ruff let out a howl as a bunch of boulders appeared and landed on furret knocking it out
"nice rock slide." Kieran said
"uh thanks?" Lincoln said
"furret return." Kieran said returning furret to its pokeball
"Woah what the heck is that?!?" Lincoln asked
"its a pokeball it functions as a way to store pokemon and help them recover when they can't battle they also help get you new pokemon and prevent yours from being stolen." Kieran explained
"ok I think I get it." Lincoln said
"you're up dipplin!" Kieran said as dipplin stepped forward
"use syrup bomb!" Kieran said
dipplin launch a sticky syrupy ball at ruff knocking him out
"woah how did that do so much damage?" Lincoln asked
"it was a super effective hit pokemon have 1 or 2 types and each one has a different level of effectiveness for example water beats fire." Kieran explained
"ok I get it! Go mimi!" Lincoln said as Mimi stepped forward
"hit 'em with uh something!" Lincoln said
Mimi's true eyes glowed as it flew forward and pulled dipplin into a cartoon dust cloud and knocking dipplin out
"wow!" Kieran said "for your first battle you did good!"
"really?" Lincoln asked
"yea good job!" Kieran said as he patched up ruff
"do you think you can teach me more?" Lincoln asked
"sure!" Kieran said
"thanks!" Lincoln said before hugging him
for some reason it made his heart skip a beat
(adds Kieran/Lincoln) that's a surprise tool that can help us later
so why do this? Well two reasons
one because it's really funny
two to have Kieran have more of his sanity (seriously he needs it)
