I do not own RWBY, Marvel, Pokemon, etc.

The ride back to Beacon Academy was filled with silence. This was because no one had the confidence to other a word until they reached the office of professor Ozpin, the place where missing Beacon Academy first year student Jaune Arc will explain where he has been for a month.

Or as he claims two and a half years.

What did he mean by two and a half years? This was the question plugging everyone who knew him as they stared at the blonde in question who was currently being surrounded by two Atlas soldiers, with both of them looking like their guns at the ready to aim at the Dork Knight if necessary. Not that Pyrrha was going to let that happen, but they had no idea about that.

As they were sitting in the bull head that would take them back to Beacon Academy, everyone noticed that the outfit Jaune I've been wearing under his cloak was different from the one he had usually worn at Beacon.

Instead of his black hoodie, Jaune was now wearing a navy blue leather jacket with two pockets that went all the way down to his thighs. The jacket was open to reveal a long black shirt that was tucked into his pants. Speaking of pants, instead of his old worn out jeans he was not wearing black cargo pants that were tucked into knee high dark brown combat boots with what appeared to be rocket boosters on both sides. Ruby also noticed that Jaune's belt had two holsters for his strange new guns, seven of those strange balls like the one he used to recall the creature called Cinderace earlier, and what appeared to be a holster for his sword, which to the untrained eye look like his regular sword, except Ruby could tell that it got an upgrade some time ago.

"We'll be as his office soon, do you want to tell me what is going on before we arrive, Mr Arc."said general Ironwood as he came out of the cockpit.

"Like I said. I'll tell everyone everything as soon as we arrive at the headmaster's office."said Jaune, causing many of his friends wondering where he got the nerve to speak to someone like the general like that.

It was clear to his friends that Jaune has changed ever since he left for who knows where.

"Sir, are you sure we shouldn't remove his weapons?"asked one of the Atlas soldiers guarding Jaune.

"Yes. I have a feeling that if we tried it to remove his weaponry, he will do something that will benefit no one."replied the general to his subordinate's question.

The Atlas soldier said nothing more just as the Bullhead landed. A minute later everyone stood up and again making their way to Beacon Tower so they could speak with professor Ozpin. As the group of we get Academy students, Atlas personnel, and professor Goodwitch made their way to the Tower, they couldn't help noticing the looks they got from the students and faculty of Beacon that had not left on their assignments yet.

They we're particularly staring at Jaune, most likely wondering where the young man has been as his disappearance was no small incident. There was a large investigation by the staff of Beacon and everything, with the police almost having to get involved. So just say it was a surprise to see the young man at the center all of this standing alive and well was the understatement of the century as he continued walking with the others to Beacon Tower.

A minute or two later they arrived at the tower and all got into the elevator that would take him to the headmasters office at once. It was a tight fit, but everyone was determined to be there for when Jaune told him exactly where he's been all this time, and they wouldn't be satisfied with any half-ass explanation.

They soon got what they wish for as the elevator door open and everyone minus the Atlas soldiers who had been guarding Jaune stepped out. The door closed a few seconds later in everyone made their way to the desk of professor Ozpin, with the man in question watching everything while sipping a cup of coffee.

"Mr Arc, I must say I'm surprised you're alive and well."said Ozpin, who had heard the news of Jaune from his subordinates earlier.

"Yeah..."said Jaune with a simple reply.

"Do you care to tell everyone where you've been for the last month. Or as you claim two and a half years."said Ozpin, motioning for the young man to tell his story.

"I'm only going to say this once so I suggest you listen up. It all started one day in the Emerald Forest."said Jaune, as his friends got into listen closely to hear what the young man had to say for himself.

"As all of you know I was the weakest first-year student in Beacon Academy. So I decided to go into the forest to get some training done in order to improve my skills even a little bit. But that's when I encountered him."said Jaune, who began to remember those memories he remembered like it was yesterday.

(Flashback)

(Two and a half years ago)

(The Emerald Forest)

"Okay, my plan is to take on some beowolves and Ursa! I need some real fighting experience if I ever hope to hold my own during the Vytal festival! As team leader I cannot let my team down! I have to do everything in my power to show the rest of the world what team JNPR is made of!"said Jaune with determination as he ventured into the Emerald Forest with the intention of slaying some Grimm.

The young man having an improving with his sword skills thanks to his secret training with Pyrrha Nikos, his partner and arguably the strongest first-year student of Beacon Academy.

"Pyrrha told me I need to improve when it comes to my defense! Power based attacks easily knock my shield away from my form, which leaves me vulnerable! I need to get use to taking on heavy hitters like Cardin and Ursa. My sword swing can also use some improvement...I also need to straighten my thrusting attacks. I know Cocoea Mors is built more in the line as a slashing weapon, but what if I need to stab a heavenly armored opponent because flashing attacks are not cutting it? I need The strain my form as I thrust, so I better remember to do that when I encounter some Grimm."said Jaune, trying his best to remember what Pyrrha said he needed to improve on.

So that is exactly what he had in mind when he ran into a cave that was all too familiar for him.

"Hey, this is the cave where I accidentally angered that ancient deathstalker...Man, I was such an idiot back then for thinking that stinger was the relic we were supposed to look for. In hindsight, it wouldn't make sense for sending that big to be The relic... not when the relics turned out to be chess pieces."said Jaune to himself, who decided then and there's going to the cave and check it out as it should be safe considering the ancient Deathstalker was dead.

So that is exactly what he did as he went inside the cave, making sure to activate the flashlight feature of his scroll as he did so so that he could see where exactly he was going.

"If I remember correctly I saw ancient writing in this cave. I gues no archaeologists had a chance to study these considering this cave was the home of a ancient Deathstalker. Now that it is gone, I guess Dr Oobleck or some of his colleagues can now study these ancient writings to see if they have anything to do with pass civilizations. Hey, what's this?"asked Jaune, noticing that there was a split in the cave system, with one of them appearing to have light at the end.

"There shouldn't be light in this cave."said Jaune, who pulled out his sword just in case it was another Grimm like the Deathstalker.

So he carefully made his way through the cave and soon arrived at what appeared to be the end. He quickly figured out where the light was coming from, as evident by the fact that there was a whole lot the top of the cave that allowed sunlight to get in. What he did not expect was there to be some kind of relic like out of one of those old treasure hunter movies sitting at the center of the cave.

"A necklace?"Jaune asked himself as he noticed some kind of hexagon like necklace was sitting on what appeared to be a stone table at the center of the room. Against his better judgment, Jaune quickly made his way to the stone table when picked up the necklace, all the while hoping he didn't activate some kind of ancient trap.

"Phew..."said Jaune a few seconds later, as no trap have been activated.

Jaune quickly put on the necklace around his neck for safekeeping, but just as he was about to leave he encountered a creature he never thought he would see in the cave.

The light in the room allowed him to get a good look at the creature and he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Floating in front of him was some kind of foot long pink, bipedal creature with mammalian features. It has a rounded, wide snout; triangular ears; and large, blue eyes. It has short arms with three-fingered paws and large hind paws with oval markings on the soles. Its tail is long and thin with an ovoid tip.

It wasn't that moment that the young Arc swung his sword at the mysterious creature, not thinking in that moment as he was freaked out by the sudden appearance of something he didn't recognize. What happened next was also outside of his purview of understanding, because as soon as Crocea Mors struck the creature's skin, it's shattered into a million different kinds of pieces.

"What?"said Jaune, before some kind of psychic energy pinned him to a nearby wall with what was left of his sword.

The young man tried to break away, but he couldn't. He soon saw that the creature he had tried to attack was the one responsible for the psychic attack as it's glowing eyes indicated that it was behind his current confinement.

But instead of appearing angered by the sudden attack, the creature looked more amused more than anything.

"Hahahaha! What was the first time in a long time that a human has ever tried to attack me! Although you failed as a normal sword would never do damage to me, you did an awesome job by having the nerve to attack me!"said the cute little creature, as it appeared amused more than annoyed.

"Your happy that I attacked you? And how are you talking when your mouth is not moving?"asled Jaune, who is trying to stall for time while he figured out a way to get out of the situation.

"I'm speaking to you with my mind, silly. And of course I'm happy as almost every Pokemon is a battle Maniac who loves the thrill of battle! Before you asked me who I am, I'm Mew, a psychic type mythical Pokemon and the ancestor of all mortal Pokemon."said Mew, as Jaune wondered what the heck a Pokemon even was as he's never heard that word before in his life.

"Okay, what are you doing here?"asked Jaune, well trying to use whatever restraint he could muster to move so he can grab his scroll that had fell on the floor so he could call for help.

Hopefully someone like his friends are the Beacon Academy staff can help him deal with this creature, or at least convince it to let him go.

"I'm here because I sense that someone tried to take Terapagos. I thought you were some tomb robber, but it is clear to me that you're just here out of curiosity more than anything. I was just going to teleport you away back to where you came from, but after you attack me I have a better idea."said Mew with a knowing smirk on its face.

"What are you going to do to me?"asked Jaune, as he had a bad feeling that something bad was going to happen to him.

"I'm going to send you somewhere where you can get a whole lot stronger! Jaune Arc, I sent a lot of potential in you and I can tell you're going to be one of the strongest people ever! I know your name because I read your mind! Anyway, I'm going to send you somewhere fun in full of adventure where you're going to have to play a big game of hide and seek with me as the hider and you as the seeker. The trick is that you're going to have to become a Pokemon trainer to find me as there's no way I'm letting you find me without pokémon with you!"said Mew like it was fooling around.

"HUH?"was all Jaune could say to that nonsense that the creature called Mew was spewing.

"As an extra gift, I'll let you keep Terapagos. I have a feeling he'll like being with you. Anyway, let's get this show on the road."said Mew, before it created what appear to be a pink portal out of a sci-fi movie.

"Wait!"said Jaune, but Mew did not listen I used its psychic powers to fling him into the portal.

"Bye bye! The next time we meet, it will be completely up to you as you need to be strong both as a warrior and a Pokemon trainer to find me."said Mew with a cheeky attitude.

"Screw you!"said Jaune before the portal closed on him.

"Well that was fun. Now to make sure that no one goes looking for him."said Mew, before it used its tail to destroy Jaune's scroll.

It then proceeded to use excited powers to make it look like the engine cave was never there in the first place by causing it to fill with rubble!

(Flashback End)

"After everything was said and done I ended up in some place called Kanto, and I was lucky to be taken in by someone called professor Samuel Oak."said Jaune, before he took a deep breath as it was a long explanation and he needed a breather.

"How did you know that last part when you weren't even there?"asked Ozpin, wondering how Jaune knew about that.

"Mew told me when I met him for the second time."answered Jaune has he caught his breath.

"I see."said Ozpin, before he took another sip of his coffee.

"I know what I just said sounds crazy! But I assure you it is one hundred percent the truth. I then spent the last year traveling the Pokemon world in search of Mew."said Jaune, before he knows that Ruby raised her hand.

"What is this Pokemon trainer business?"inquired Ruby, as her interest was peaked.

"It's basically will you capturing train creatures called Pokemon for battle. They have these crazy cool powers like being able to breathe fire, shoot electricity, and so much more."said Jaune whileinstinctually pulling out a necklace that he had on him.

"So the people of that world force creatures to fight each other for sport?"asked Blake like it was the most ridiculous thing she's ever heard.

"That sounds all sorts of wrong."added Yang, who was in agreement with her partner.

"You would think that, but the Pokemon are actually cool with it."said Jaune, confusing his friends as they wondered how on Remnant could anyone be cool with that.

"How are creatures cool with being forced to fight with each other?"inquired Weiss, as that sounded like other nonsense.

"You think they're forced to fight each other? Hah! Pokemon by their very nature are battle Maniacs who love the thrill of battle! Pretty much Pokemon society is decided on who's the strongest and who's the weakest, and the only way to get stronger is through battle! Pokemon will battle each other with or without commands, but they discovered a long time ago that being with a Pokemon trainer makes the process of getting stronger happen at a faster rate. So Pokemon will regularly jump out at someone to see if they are worthy of being their Pokemon trainer. Thwy will willingly let themselves get captured so they can feel the thrill of that is Pokemon competitive battle."said Jaune, who knows that it sounds ridiculous, but it is the truth.

"Huh...That sounds awesome! I want to meet these Pokemon and see if there's any cute little pink berserker who wields a hammer for a living!"said Nora, causing Jaune to smirk as he know there was a pokémon in existence that lived with that description to a T.

"I'm still skeptical about this whole system, but I guess different world different rules."said Ren, who felt like different worlds had different thought processes so he shouldn't question it.

"So you encountered Mew after some time. Why didn't you come back right away?"asked Pyrrha, noticing that her partner had an annoyed look on his face.

"You think that finding Mew and defeating him in battle would be enough to convince him to send you back right away. But that little pink devil had other things in mind."said Jaune, causing his friends to look at him with concerned wondering where he was going with.

"Go on then. Continue your story."said general Ironwood, who was being weirdly calm despite how ridiculous the story sounded.

"Give me a minute I was going to take a lot of explaining. I can't exactly remember everything at once, so sit tight everyone and get ready for part two of this story."said Jaune, trying to collect his memories so he could tell everyone exactly what happened to him next after he left the Pokemon world.

And how things went up and down for him from there!
