Episode two goes as in canon except for luz taking Adegast's magic before he could hurt her. Episode three goes an in canon until the fight with bump where Luz just takes of her shades after making sure willow was behind her causing the abominations to instantly fall into a puddle of sludge and for Bump's magic to deplete. Luz while making sure willow stays out of her line of sight carefully moves her gaze to look at the ruin on the door making the wither away. "what was that and why can't bump preform a spell circle anymore?" Willow asked in shock as we see Bump repeatedly try and failing to preform a spell circle until he gave up.
"it's, complicated and I'll Explain it at the owl house" Luz said opting to walk instead of teleport but was stopped by Bump. "could you undo whatever you did to me to disable my magic before you go" Bump asked as Luz simply lowered her shades after making sure no one else was in her view and gave Bump his magic back with Bump doing a light spell to confirm. At the owl house Luz took the book that Eda wrote her explanation and some other information about Luz into and handed it Willow while saying "Eda had a feeling I'll be explaining this a lot so she just wrote it into a book so I didn't need to constantly explain"
Willow took the book and started to read it with her face getting more and more shocked until she finished what was written in the book. Willow put the book back where she seen Luz take it from and turned to look at her. "You can take magic?!" Willow yelled in shock "I can give it to Willow, don't forget that, but yes I can take magic though if I'm not carful I could kill the victim" Luz replied with a tone in the beginning that made even Eda stiffen "y-yes L-Luz" Willow stammered before deciding to change the subject "so in the human realm everyone has these powers?" Willow asked Luz whos mood did a full 180 at the question "well only 80% have them while the other 20% don't" Luz answered
A couple minutes later
"well my dads want me to be home soon so I'm going to head off" Willow announced as Luz waved at her. "thankfully she didn't read the note I put in there" Luz murmured to herself after Willow left "Why? something deeply unsettling in there I should know about?" Eda said appearing behind Luz scaring her. After a moment Luz spoke "Yes, as I heard that the Guard that attacked us on my first day was found dead where we left him so I did some research and found out some disturbing things." At this Eda's composure became more serious as Luz took that as the que to continue
"I found that a witches bile replaces the red blood cells in there blood; and before you ask red blood cells are responsible for transporting all the oxygen throughout your body and all the CO2 to the lungs to be exhaled but back to what I was saying. So when I remove a witches magic I also inadvertently kill the witch also: However, I can somewhat control the rate I can drain a witches magic by how much I focus on them. Now for the gory side of this, the side effects of me completely draining a witches magic appear in the same sequence as magic exhaustion, with the severity increasing at the same rate I'm draining them. When they're beyond the most severe, and this is backed up by the video which I might add is very traumatizing, blood will start to flow out of the victims eyes, nose and ears while they cough up blood and slowly fall to the ground before dying" Luz said as Eda became a ghostly shade of white before running to the bathroom to puke her guts out after accidently imagining the scene as Luz went to bed. Undenounced to them someone was listening n on there conversation before running off accidently leaving a green piece of hair behind.
the next day
Luz is helping Eda to her nest after she put the protective barrier around the house before King accidentally ran into Luz knocking her shades off as she was looking at Eda. Luz quickly closed her eyes before King put her shades back on "sorry Luz" King apologized as he got off Luz "It's ok, it was an accident though your gonna have to apologize to Eda as well when she wakes up, ok?" Luz said as she places Eda in her nest before going to her room to meditate as king went to sleep. A few minutes later there was a screech before the lights went out "what was that?" Luz said as she opens her eyes to reveal them to be glowing a blood red color before she got up forgetting about her shades as she went towards the screech. As she gets there she sees a beast clawing a Hooty who was unconscious and on the flor, Luz focused on the best which screech before passing out and reverting back to Eda. Luz upon seeing Eda quickly closed her eyes before moving towards Eda using a sensory type quirk before grabbing her and putting her back into her nest but noticed that Eda's magic wasn't as drained as badly as she had caused. Luz left and went to bed after fixing Hooty
