Chapter 3 Disowned Black(nee) Weasley

Cedrella Weasley's POV

Cedrella Weasley wife of the Septimus Weasley is a pureblood witch born into the noble house of Black. She was the second eldest daughter of Arcturus Black-II and Lysandra Black (nee yaxley) and sister of callidora and Charis. Black's and Weasley' are part of the Sacred 28 according to the Cantankerus Nott author of pureblood directory, the remaining British pureblood families. Cedrella, disowned by the next Head of Black family for marrying the blood traitor septimus Weasley even though her marriage approved by her parents and the then Head of House.

Cedrella married septimus Weasley immediately after their Hogwarts graduation as she knew septimus is clever, ambitious wizard who want to remove the stains on the Weasley name left behind by his ancestors. Cedrella knew that Septimus ambition to be successful was from the current financial state of Weasley family. Everyone knew that Weasleys lost their wealth due to their poor financial decisions. The biggest mistake of the house of Weasley that will haunt the future generations is their disregarding pureblood claim of the being included in the Sacred 28 earning them infamous name of BLOOD TRAITOR from the families listed in the sacred twenty-eight and that jealous excluded pureblood claimed families. Cedrella liked how Septimus started the meagre amount investing even at the early age, even this impressed her father.

Cedrella had fond memories with septimus and their magically allied friends Charlus Potter, Dora Black nee Potter, Harfang Longbottom, and Callidora Black nee Longbottom. Cedrella still remembered those scared days of participating in the first wizarding war along with her friends which made her quite capable in the potions, healing and defense magic. Cedrella never liked to witness wizarding wars but the current ongoing war, waged by the blood supremist believers, but pace and strategies deployed smelled more cunning and sneaky Slytherin. Cedrella never knew who this Lord Voldemort is, but she can tell one thing he belong to the house of Slytherin. Cedrella suspected that Lord Voldemort is half-blood an alias which means 'flight of Death' or 'Theft of Death' in French and does not belong to the prominent pureblood families. The one thing is known from his fashioned name that he considers himself immortal, this a mere thought made cedrealla to scoff at the prospect of someone defying the nature of life. Cedrella had to agree with the Septimus thoughts about Voldemort raised in muggle world and he might be the one pulling the strings from behind with laws proposed against the muggle-born all these years by blood supremist families in wizemgamot. Cedrella is very saddened to the news of her allies murder by death eaters, and she wished to take revenge on them.

Cedrella and Septimus had three sons Bilius, Charles and Arthur. Cedrella raised all her sons fairly as an extremely strict mother. Charles was the eldest one and after completing the Hogwarts with Outstanding NEWTS moved to the Bulgaria working as the international relations diplomat for British ministry of magic. Bilius is the middle child and he had completed the Hogwarts with outstanding NEWTS and was pursuing the auror course and working as auror trainee for the British ministry of magic to follow in his father's footsteps of being auror. Cedrella spoiled her youngest child Arthur who is eccentric about muggles and their things from the youngest age and did not outgrew his behavior even after becoming adult. Cedrella was against Arthur joining the low paying job in the misuse of muggle articrafts Department, but Septimus supported him to follow his heart.

Now a days only things that brought the smile are moments she spends with her grandchildren. Only Arthur out of her sons got married and immediately started having children. Cedrella never approved/acknowledged Molly Prewett nee Weasley to be her daughter in law material suited for her gentle hearted son. Cedrella despised Molly's wishes to have more children than they are capable to raise with their current. Molly went to labor again today and Arthur was pacing around nervously. Cedrella engaged in the intense argument with molly's aunt about their varying views regarding their current behavior of the heirs and septimus jumped in to stop before it is getting escalating.

"Fine" Cedrella said huffing and turned away from Muriel.

"Though I would I agree with you regarding your opinion about Molly" Muriel said making cedrella surprised.

"What?" cedrella asked turning again towards Muriel.

"We are not able to teach our ways to our heirs" Muriel said frowning "Molly and her brothers mocked us for following our ways" Muriel said scowling at the labor door "It is as though fate is betraying on our families" Muriel said sharing her thoughts aloud.

"It's not the fate it our inability to raise them properly" cedrella muttered under her breath "Children are becoming more rebellious as we progress into new era."

"I noticed that all the heirs of blood supremist family still follow our ways" Muriel said scowling.

"Or This era is made more welcoming to the muggle born wizards and witches who always try to mock our ways during our days at Hogwarts." Cedrella supplied. "There world is always a mess though" Cedrella said scowling.

"Yes, you are right about muggle born witches and wizards" Muriel said frowning "They are polluting our heirs by bringing their foolish nonsense into our world."

"And yet not all the heirs are diverging from our paths" Cedrella said frowning "Look around not even one of my grandchildren knows anything about our way" cedrella said looking over happy children.

"How will they know" Muriel said snorting "If their parents are ignorant of our ways."

"I am disappointed in Arthur greatly" Cedrella said frowning at nervously pacing Arthur "It seems marrying to your degenerate heirs further diverged him from my learnings."

"Dumbledore succeeded in his ways in the end" Septimus said folding his arms over his chest making cedrella to sigh and Muriel to raise her eyebrow curiously. "It was all along the plan of Dumbledore to make the common playground for muggle born and wizarding with all the laws he managed to pass in the wizengamot" Septimus said "He destroyed our ancestor's ways of trying to find the common ground irrespective of Hogwarts houses we are conventionally sorted through pre-Hogwarts ball" Septimus continued "Cancelled Pre-Hogwarts schooling, You cannot do magic outside of Hogwarts, Wizarding festivals are not celebrated in the Hogwarts anymore"

"That man really fucked us all before anyone realized" Muriel said frowning.

"Everyone was merely blinded by his fame and popularity" cedrella said scowling.

"My friends never took his side after we took over seats in the wizengamot" Septimus said sighing in defeat "We lost in the end."

"Well, this war is going to increase his fame and popularity even more" Muriel said scowling "If I had known a day like this would come, I would have tortured them to follow our ways" Muriel muttered last part to herself.

Suddenly there is loud sad wail of women and baby crying from the room in which molly is undergoing labor startling all of them from whatever they are doing. Arthur immediately rushed inside the room to find what happened.

"Why the hell she is crying?" Cedrella asked frowning hearing the baby cries "Everything seems alright." Cedrella muttered as she stood to go inside the room to greet the new grandchild.

"Might be not the result she was expecting" Muriel said scowling "You Weasleys miraculously produced male heirs almost every generation."
