Chapter 2: Before of a New Story
Under the night sky, Red now know as Ash Ketchum staring at his reflection reflected a young boy face who at least ten years old. While he is still in confusion his Arc Rotom Phone ring up with an incoming call which snap out of Ash back to the reality as he accept the call and see a familiar face on the screen.
Video call between Red and Kei
Kei: Finally! Red where—
Kei: Wait a minute Ash?
Ash: It me Red!
Kei: Red?! Are you alright?
Ash: Yes! I don't know what happened to me! I remember going to sleep with Lugia and then the next thing I knew I just wake up in the middle of the forest!
Ash: Did a change happen while I was asleep?
Kei: No Red that because—-
Kei: Actually I explain to you later what happened but for now use your Arc Rotom Phone and hurry go back to your dimension world!
Kei: Your pokemons are having panic since you just disappear on them again!
Ash: It not my fault this time!
Ash: And why you can't calm them down? I mean you done it before when I was gone last time?
Kei: Believe me. I will already done it already if not because the current situation that happened to your dimension.
Ash: What do you mean?
Kei: I explain it once you calm your pokemons down from making a mess over panic and it best they also listen too as this will involve them as well.
Kei: Call me again when you calm them down and gather them together. It be better to explain to you all at once.
Kei has close the call
Ash: …..Well I still confuse what happened here but I best to hurry back home first.
Ash: Let see…..click here and there then here we go!
With a few command into his Arc Rotom Phone, a portal open up in front of Ash as he walk through it and return to his dimension world.
Kei has accepted Ash video call
Kei: Red have you calm—-
Kei: …
Kei: I see you are comfortable cuddling with your pokemon.
Ash: Like I have a choice here.
A Koraidon 2: But master you have been missing again and we were all worried!
A Miraidon 2: Yeah! We were worried about you!
Ash: I told you all Im fine!
Kei: I see…..anyway I take it you already calm all your pokemon down Red? Or should I could you Ash instead?
Ash: Just call me Ash now. I already tell all my Pokemon to call me that now.
Kei: Ash it is then. Have you gathered most of your pokemon up? They will need to hear what happen to you and the outside of your dimension world.
Ash: Yeah they here with me now. Look!
Kei: …..Why is your schoolyard look like it been hit by a typhoon?
Ash: I wonder who fault was that?
A Arceus: *Look at the clear night sky to find it really interesting*
A Lugia 1: *Looking anywhere but Ash*
A Rayquaza: *Pretending having a good conversation with A Groudon and A Kyogre who trying to escape but fail*
Kei: …..Never mind then.
Kei: Anyway. Ash do you still remember every 'Memory Story' the Gamer Dreamer have been through so far?
Ash: ?
Ash: I remember about those 'Memory Story'.
Ash: I may have only create during the time of 'Sword and Shield' time but I do some research about the past 'Memory Story' that have happened in the past.
Kei: Right. Then what about the 'Story' from you learn from the 'AU Dreamer'?
Ash: Oh you mean like the 'Story' I have…huh?
A Reshiram 1: Something wrong Master?
Ash: That weird….I know what an 'AU Dreamer' is but yet I can't remember any 'Story' I have watch from them.
Kei: Hmm….with what you have become now I won't be surprised if you were forced to forget those 'Story'.
Ash: What do you mean?
Kei: Ash you are an 'AU Dreamer' now.

A Ho-oh: Mr Kei please tell us you are joking.
Kei: I wish I was Ho-oh but however I am not.
Zekrom: But how is it possible?! I mean we all still here with our master in our home here!
Kei: That the thing. While Ash here is an AU Dreamer now but he also still a Gamer Dreamer too. His dimension world just become part with the AU dimension when it was formed.
Ash: You still haven't tell us why you can't enter my dimension world since Im still a Gamer Dreamer so it should be possible for you to come here right?
Kei: There are two reason for it. The first one is that you should remember that there a rule that an AU dimension word will be completely isolated from the outside with no way to communicate.
Ash: Yeah but I think that part doesn't really apply here since I can still chat with you clearly here.
Kei: True. But however it best you still follow that rule when the time is come.
Ash: What!? Why?
Kei: The 'Story' are meant to belong to the AU dreamer alone and cannot allow other dreamer to interfere the 'Story' beside watching from the outside.
Kei: Other Dreamer include me are considered as an outsider to this 'Story' of your here. Allowing other dreamer to involve your 'Story' here will have a great impact to the AU dimension and possible lead to a disaster.
Kei: I have seen some case about other Gamer Dreamer trying to include themselves into other AU dimension world 'Story' here and the result are really bad.
Ash: Then is it alright for us to continue chatting here like this if the result for including other dreamer are bad?
Kei: Just for now we are safe here as your 'Story' actually haven't started yet here which we have to find out when will it start next after we finish discussions here so we can prepare you for it.
Ash: I see….then what the second reason?
Kei: The second reason is the legendary pokemon of this AU world. Im positive that they may have noticed your existence and your own dimension world here so they will probably no doubt trying to find out about it.
Ash: I see. Guess I better watch out for any legendary pokemon that is not mine then.
A Keldeo: Don't worry Mr Kei! We will protect Ash!
A Lugia J: Yeah! Me too!
A Ho-oh J: Same!
A Reshiram: Im sure all of us will.
Kei: Well that is a small relief to be honest but still never underestimate them. Some of their power way too powerful compared to your pokemon.
Ash: I keep that in mind.
Kei: Good. Anyway now that the explanation is over it best to find out where are you were drop off in the AU earth and also what current time of it.
A Suicune: Master you said you wake up in the middle of the forest before you come back here right?
Ash: Yeah. I didn't give the surrounding much thought when Kei call me on the my Arc Rotom phone.
Kei: I see. Since your 'Story' hasn't start yet I can still guild you a bit to help you settle down in the AU world until the time of your 'Story' start.
Kei: After that you will be on your own to go through your 'Story' here. Even though the rule of the AU world not really effected you much but you still have to follow them.
Ash: Even I have to cut my ties with you?
Kei: I won't say completely cut ties at all as you can still use message chat system to chat with me just not the video call. But however I cannot help you at all nor even a hint as some Dreamer are really smart so even a small detail they can see it suspicious.
Ash: I see….I kinda worried here to be honest since this is all still too suddenly for me.
Kei: You be fine Ash. You not alone remember you still got your pokemon with you.
A Latias: That right master you still got us!
A Entei: Yeah! We will always be by your side!
A Tapu Koko: Yup!
A Yveltal: You never be alone!
Ash: …Thanks guys.
Kei: I hate to break your precious moment Ash but can you find out where you are on the AU earth when you awake there? While I may have an idea where you are but just to be sure here.
Ash: Sure. I go survey the area after deciding who to bring with me.
Kei: Alright then I see you later.
Kei has close the video call
An hour later Ash walk out the portal with Solgaleo, Lunala and Garchomp behind him. Then they soon got out of the forest after looking around and arrived at top of a hill allow them to view the town they have arrived. Ash then take out his Arc Rotom phone to call his friend to show him where they have arrived.
Kei has accept the video call
Kei: You arrived at the town yet?
Ash: Yeah. Here do you recognize this town?
Kei: Hmm…..as I thought it Pallet Town.
Kei: I know this is too suddenly Ash but can you check a location in this town for me? I will send you pin location where you need to go.
Kei: It really late in middle of the night now so you won't have to worry about getting spot by someone else.
Ash: Alright. Come on guys.
Ash:…..Is this the right place?
Kei: ….Yes Ash.
Ash: But…..there nothing here but a grassy field. What am I supposed to look for here?
Kei: To be more precise Ash there a house was supposed to be here. A house where it will be your home if you are fully AU dreamer.
Ash: Really?
Kei: I may have a hypothetical idea what this AU world will be.
Kei: Since there nothing here it may mean that this is an AU world where the version of 'you' doesn't exist here so instead it bring you here from the outside to fulfill the role the version of 'you' here supposed to play.
Ash: But in that case what my role supposed to be if I was supposed to play the 'his' role?
Kei: By doing his Journey I guess but however you have to decide on your on what you want to do here. I cannot interfere with your 'Story' here.
Ash: …..In that case I go meet Professor Oak.
Kei: Oh? And why that?
Ash: Well you said it before I need help to settle down here in this world right? Then Professor Oak is the one that can help me settle down this world.
Ash: And I know I can trust him with my secret as a dreamer.
Kei: I see. Then I hope it goes well for you here and but try not to reveal much to him. Not everything meant to be revealed after all.
Ash: I will. I see you in few days then after I meet up with Professor Oak.
Kei: Alright. I see you another time.
Kei has close the video call
A few days later
Ash has accept the call
Kei: So how's the meeting with Professor Oak?
Ash: Well…..he still need some time to process all about me apparently.
Kei: Im sure it must be overwhelming for him to get visitor from a dreamer and have a bomb suddenly drop on him.
Kei: So how much did you tell him?
Ash: Just that Im a dreamer from another universe with my own dimension world where I live with my pokemons.
Ash: Oh also I tell him that legendary pokemon are kinda common from where I from are call fragment legendary pokemon.
Ash: Professor Oak has trouble time believing me even I show him Solgaleo and Lunala so I bring him to my dimension world and show him our home.
Ash: He faint when I introduce my pokemon.
Kei: And that all you told him right?
Ash: Yup. Nothing about what Gamer Dreamer is and what we do. Just that we have our own world with our legendary pokemon.
Kei: I guess that good enough.
Ash: Also I got the date you want to know. It was now year XXXX from Professor Oak told me.
Kei: Year XXXX huh…..Four more years until the start of your 'Story'.
Ash: Four years?
Kei: Yes. The time where Professor Oak grandson Gary will start his journey. The day too is the start of your journey and 'Story'.
Ash: Four years huh…..guess I use the time I have to learn more about this AU world.
Ash: Think I will look more good after four years?
Kei: Hate to break it to you Ash but remember we dreamer don't age so you too will not age even you now in an AU world.
Ash: Ah bummer so much for that.
Kei: Before I go Ash while you may already know this but however I like to remind you that remember you no longer in a 'Memory Story' but a 'Story'.
Kei: Everyone you meet here is real and there no return for you if anything happened. Also be sure to look out for the legendary pokemon of this AU world too.
Ash: I still remember it here so no worry.
Kei: Good now I have to go here as one of my Zekrom try to do some cooking and it end up really bad here.
Ash: Ouch. Hope you be alright.
Kei: I be fine here. I see you another time now okey?
Ash: Alright! See you another day!
Ash has close the video call
Meanwhile in the Hall of Origin where Arceus of this AU world is waiting for the other legendary to gather in his world as their spirit form to start a meeting with a chat version of their own.
Arceus: I take it everyone have arrived?
Palkia: Yes we all here father.
Arceus: Good then let us start the meeting here. The things we need to discuss are the arrival of the Chosen One and the mysterious dimension that not created by me and my children.
Character profile
Ash Ketchum/Red - A former 'Gamer Dreamer' who just become an 'AU Dreamer' but yet still has his right and power as a Gamer Dreamer. He was at first scared of the sudden change but quickly get over it soon after knowing he still got all of his Pokemon who he considered as his family along with his dimension world where his home is located. He is unsure what his role for this AU world is because he was forced to forget the 'Story' of the real 'Ash Ketchum' in the 'Pokemon Origin Universe' and other AU 'Story' for becoming an 'AU Dreamer' but he still accept it and will go on a journey in this AU world with whatever it 'Story' has store for him.
As for how many fragments legendary pokemon Ash has. He has catch all of them from 'Sword and Shield', Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl', 'Legends Arceus' and then 'Scarlet and Violet' but his world is set in Scarlet version only.
However he didn't keep all the fragment legendary pokemon as some of them doesn't like the idea of leaving their own home when the change of the region is happening (like bringing them from the old game to the new game), so Red has entrusted some of them to his close friends dreamer who their dimension world didn't change from the old region base on their creator wish. (If saying he has keep them all that will way too much so just it be just he give them to other dreamers here)
To avoid some confusion the main legendary Pokemon in the AU universe name will remain same while some of Ash Legendary pokemon will include A beside their name as they belong to him. The number beside their mean the number how many same legendary Pokemon Ash has but some will include J next to their number as Junior since in this fanfic some legendary Pokemon are junior.
