Chapter 21: Need Truths VI: Media Examples And Medical Truths VI
"His retirement from the military transfer, from the SGC to the SGA, and he creates the trade, as he does everything for us, as he contacts us, through Jared and David. And the IOA votes on the call and we get the next drugs in, one by one, all 18 planets, and Pyrus was the first." Picard added and Hammond nodded in understanding then to the news. "That was his mistake, telling us where he was going, and this time, there were 24 major cities in France he could be hiding."
"In planetary form, on, that they can't check them all." Jumper said and they nodded sternly and she started shaking, realizing he never wanted to be found now. "Point taken, this was his major mistake, he told you exactly where he was going, and you tail him there, to me. And with you, your red shirted buddies!" Mac snapped and she went white, realizing it was her fault. "What the hell is your problem, he wants his freedom back?!" his assistant shouted at her.
"Captain, that crossed the god damn line, did you tell them where he was?!" Hammond shouted in anger and she started shaking in fear then. "I said, we said, leave him alone, and you and O'neill deliberately disobeyed my orders, and tell these bastards where he is?" he snapped and she swallowed. "That's it, that is it, you crossed over alright, you're one of them, you always were, we outrank you, we say, you do, young lady!" Landry said angrily and she went white.
"Artificial connection true, only now said doesn't feel artificial, but real, he's never been more open with his emotions here, opening up to Pyrus completely this says it all. He's had enough, after Hathor, and learning about Sha're whereabouts, they been lying to him. He's convinced they're not his friends." Warner said and they nodded. "I never thought I'd hear you say that, me or him, you would be happier, if O'neill never came back." Gardener said and he nodded.
"You knew me longest Charlie, out of the 3 of you, after 7 years, I was ready to propose, and take over the family business, just like I would with him." he said and Gardener nodded smiling. "I love you too son, you are the right one for her, you always were." he said to him then gently then. "Always in the way, they're always in the way, only leach becomes NID, real or associated, we're wolves, born and bred." Sarah said and Jack swallowed hard, realizing she hated him.
"And most prisoners are never this open with their captors either, this is not Stockholm syndrome or brainwashing, he's wanting a fresh start. Outside of the SGC, no interference, that letter was genuine now, if not Sarah, then Shyla." Carson said and she went pale at that. "Now you done it young lady, you really done it now, he's had enough of you and that bastard. You call a team leader, controlling his life." Jumper said and she started shaking in fear then.
"Abydos was supposed to be a recon mission, and you, the SGC/NID blow it into a survival expedition, said that kills 120 people, he gets 13 months peace. You come back and Apophis attacks and kidnaps her and Skaara, you see a pattern here?" he asked and she swallowed hard, realizing every time she and Jack came into it then, something in veritably happened. Just to ruin his happiness, and this was strike 3, he was cutting himself off, and this time by royalty.
"It's not the gate, it was never the gate, it's always the black ops/NID, everytime something happens, it's because here, they're screwing with the tranquility of the galaxy. Darkness enters the galaxy, after you killed the sun, destroying everything it touches." Mac said sternly to this. "Which version is it this time, because for some reason, I can't get into a sitting position here, I can't get up." he said and he nodded as he said it smiling paternally then.
As he said it then. "Medical arrest, baby, after said warning twice by Philippe." he said to him gently. 'Oops, now I'm in trouble, not again.' they heard and Hammond chuckled and nodded. "Yeah no kidding after we had to chase you down one too many times now, that it's putting your paws in paralysis, because either said pneumonia. Or just another dunk in water temperatures that cold, you're not getting out of that bed." Matheson said gently, bemused.
"Is it possible to take leave, and head for Abydos, after I completed my business, with you, so I can confirm this entry?" he asked and he nodded. "I can send a few guards to her planet to check, but with you in recovery, you must rest." he said and Daniel nodded smiling then, and Sam started shaking, realizing they were confirming it. In that journal entry, and when Daniel got word back, she was screwed now with them as he smiled then gently.
"Confirming it, you were going to confirm Jolinar's intel, our intel, to you, well fancy that, confirm by a new ally sending a convoy there." Yosuf said and Hammond smiling sternly to that news. "So that explains said letter, they confirmed Sha're was on Abydos, and pregnant, and you decided you had plenty of time, to work trade. After they nearly killed you, and put you in the emergency room, yeah, nice punishment." Jacob said sternly and she swallowed hard then.
"And you deserved it young lady, you nearly killed him twice here, better yet, three times, you been lying to us for 5 years. That your attitude never deterred us, from knowing you're as cold blooded as this little shit." Hammond said sternly and she swallowed hard then. "He didn't care about Daniel, waiting till Skaara nearly liquified his brain, before he took action. You both deserved the very punishment, that Pyrus gave out." Carson said and she went white in fear.
"Nearly killed me, you lied to me, I decided, like Hammond decided to leave you down there, no interference, you're staying in the mines till my job is completed here now. But you just confirmed everything that dad wanted, you're trying to save yourself. Said confinement remark, it says, you know that I know where she is, and you're trying to prevent me from learning it." he said and she went white then, now knowing her attitude didn't trick them, they knew she lied.
"We knew you been lying all along young lady, but that letter came two days after they cubbed him, and upon recon, it confirmed everything. Philonius reported in, and passed me two letters, one from him, one from Pyrus, and I read his first. And read his decision, but that was up to him, you broke his heart, and these little shits think he's a traitor. He just wants his freedom back, I was prepared to grant it." he said sternly and she swallowed hard, finally realizing it.
"You know from the second I saw you, I found you to be quite adorable, little boy, but the way you are, that calls to me now. But seems no matter how many warnings through Philippe I give you, for sneaking around, well my turn. Your paws are out for a few weeks again, time to just rest your muscles now. Of course this also leaves your paws very open, just waiting for anything to take advantage of a very soft paw."
"But the punishment, for sneaking into places you shouldn't now." Pyrus said, running his hand along his side under his robe at his side, stroking his fingers there. And Daniel tried to keep from smiling, as he shifted position again, as he ran a slow stroke to his side. And they heard a snicker and he smiled knowingly then. "Yeah the jig is up and the facade ended, they decided to drop the facade." Warner said then and Matheson nodded and Jack paled at that.
Now realizing they were in this together, before the word got his attention, as he looked at his robe that tight and smiled. "Yeah you idiots really screwed up here, as instead of what you wanted, they decided you're done interrupting his health care. And with you idiots too scared to try extraction, they got all the time to work out a trade deal." Carson said sternly and the quintet all paled, realizing they set themselves up for being hold hostage, as Daniel did trade.
"And to quote Liam, as Qui-Gon, when you don't know your own mind, you fill it with the believes of others." Daniel said and she started shaking. 'Wait a second, that feels like there is not a second covering there…, oh no, no my shirt is up right now. But he finds that, he's never going to stop on my stomach, alright cover up. I'm stuck on the bed right now, Sire please no tickle Cub, cub had enough tickle.' they heard quickly to this then.
'Oh but we can't help that, when imprinted on, we see you, your age group, as far younger than your real age, my baby. That little you calls to us, we want to make little you start laughing, but baby in recovery. But baby very vulnerable, especially when baby is emotionally hurt, shh my baby just relax, you're exhausted. Ease the tenseness, then baby can sleep.' they heard in response gently, as he massaged his knee.
Watching his eyes close, he smiled. "Uh Sire, before you let me have it, can we finish that fake out, in two days, day 3 you send said letter. I'll pass you my door opener, just press the red button, it over rides the codes, and lets you in?" he asked with a slight smile, and looking like he was 8 years old then."Very well then, we finish that exchange, in 48 hours, my baby." he said to him gently and Daniel nodded with a shy a smile to him.
As he relaxed, as he massaged his knees. "He decided to give it 2 days, before we completed the fake out, that letter was sent 3 days after. As he started spending more and more time with me, that he was massaging the aching muscles in my legs, heat and ice therapy. Said exchange was 2 days later now." he said and Hammond nodded. "Ignoring his own exhaustion, now that you chose to stay on your own and agreeing to said trade, that solved that problem in truth."
"That he was giving Philippe a few days, and this torture scene, so to speak, is the next night, in bonding, as you connected to him." Addison said and he nodded. "Yeah and this brings a whole new meaning to never annoy medical papa bear now, before he tickles you into obedience. As you had enough after 3 days." he said and he chuckled as he jumped to day 1 as Pyrus pushed the cuff of his leggings up to his knee, and removed his socks as he stroked up his calf gently.
And he tried to keep from smiling and he smiled knowingly then as he left his hand on his leg then as he rubbed his leg smiling. "Is the reclining effect of the serum still engaged, I been trying to sit up for the last hour, but my body is still refusing to get out of the warmth." he asked him and he nodded. "After you fell asleep, Philonius and Philippe drew a bath for you, and your leg muscles, they just went through an ice bath now."
"So ice water, your body, a bit ago, just took a soak in ice cold water, so this is why your body is staying put right now…, so…, did my baby sleep good last night?" he asked smiling, running his fingers down his outer lower leg, in gentle strokes. 'Baby stuck in bed, your paws want to stay warm, baby in very ticklish trouble this morning. Lord is he adorable, he truly looks like's his 96 moon old self now.' they heard in affection then.
And Daniel nodded as he hid a smile. 'Oh no, my body just took a dunk in ice cold water, and the serum is keeping me flat on the bed. Yeah okay finally, they're going to a 17th century version of broken or knee recovery. Yeah okay so I'm a RICE patient after those idiots broke my leg here, that makes sense, then again. If Landry was my boss, he and whoever it is, and their CMO are getting on my case for not resting here."
"Yeah that's a good alibi right now, the NID ops involved in the base broke my leg, and they just grounded me to the bed for the next 2 weeks. As my muscles and ankle heal, so my leg and ankle, they went to a surgical doctor's method. For knee healing, but why can't I sit up, unless,…., no, no not this again, Sire, Sire please. Not that, not that, anything but that, we can continue our conversation, just please, please Sire.'
'No tickling, no tickling, cub had enough tickle, but I'll be a good patient, I promise here.' they heard quickly, as he ran his hand up his leg, as he massaged his knee. "So how is the healing on your nerves going, my baby, you still very sensitive. Well my turn to check, Shh just relax baby, shh." he said gently smiling, moving his hand to his calf and stroked his fingers up his calf and they heard a snicker, as he stroked his fingers up his leg.
"If that's not a 17th century version to RICE and nothing ever is right now, but the serum for a just recently activated knee surgery patients. That said is going to drive said veteran crazy right now, if they get too pro active, when their doctor said take it easy." the physical therapy doctor said and Matheson nodded in agreement with a bemused smile. "Yeah that works, especially for this lunatic, instead of ice, is heat, as Athos's father tickles him." Dillon said with a chuckle.
'No, no not this again, you tickled me enough on that leg, please stop, please.' they heard through a snicker then as they watched him pull the blanket over his legs, as Pyrus smiled, as he removed it from his feet. "So…, are your paws ticklish, my baby, hmm?" he asked him, smiling playfully then and as he then stroked his foot along the bridge, before running it up the length of his foot very slowly then, and he tried to keep from laughing.
" Nerve check with the serum in your system, is like someone running a feather up your leg, with your skin absolutely covered in lotion, beyond soft to the touch. And rather than being driven into insanity by then, I'm focusing on the time you were checking my ankle. After it caught on a broken branch in the trench." he said and Matheson nodded. "Yeah said sprained ankle, you tore a muscle there, couldn't pull away as I did a nerve check." he said with a smile.
'Sire please, please stop, I can't take this.' they heard through a mental laugh, though he tried to hide a smile, he covered his feet with the blanket. "Stuck in bed and this is not torture, although most knuckleheads would see it as such, simply because they're xenophobic. They just love children and a child in an adult body, is quite adorable to them in truth. But hey, you idiots are trained to see threats everywhere." he said and Jack went pale, realizing he didn't care.
"Even she gets in on the act, anything you don't understand, you see this as a threat, this is soft science in the purest sense of the word. I been doing this, if this was next timeline, for 17.5 years, this is normal to me, I can handle this. But once you come into my territory, you see this as dangerous, because you're scared here of commitment. You both are, but when they mate, they mate for life, you're said con artist in Starwars: Dack." he said and he went white then.
"Once we gave Pyrus's kingdom a shot, yeah we could be perfectly happy there, as we never stopped the mission, based on how friendly the natives are suddenly getting." Dixon said sternly and the SGA members nodded. "Said rules to cover going around the kingdom everything is the same on every planet we go to, so start with Athos, and apply that to the quartet. And Pyrus himself, before you meet Andre and Nichole next." Daniel said and he and Riker nodded then.
"Remember the quartet finding out at the last minute about said rules, before Wes tripped over the forbidden zone barrier and was sentenced to execution?" he asked and they nodded. "Well learning them by starting with one planet in the kingdom, and they discuss rules with us. And it's discovered they're all carrying the same customs, so the rules we apply to one. Get carried to the others, till you meet the ring leader now." Daniel said and Landry nodded smiling.
"And this is turning so normal to us, we can be perfectly happy there, because we do the race's planets, and Pyrus's kingdom themselves. So the rules are the same no matter where we go, but while one Asgard planet was the Aegir tribe, another the Vanir. So watch it here, before you aggravate them, as if they don't have enough going on, that the SGC punched a hole. Right through the Ktauian's sun, which explains why our gate has DHD." he said and Landry nodded.
"Frey're was from a rival clan, that's why they were 300 years more advanced, going without the viking look to themselves?" Hammond said and he nodded. "Every time I try to investigate how forward in time they are, this idiot ends the recon. Before, we learn that the hard way right now, which is why Frey're never bothered getting involved here now. After he learned from Thor, Jack's the reason 3/4's of the Cimmerians were murdered." he said and he nodded sternly then.
"What do you mean, I'm the reason?" Jack said shaking in fear. "I'm saying you're ordering me to blow the Hammer, resulted in Heru'ur coming to the planet and razing it. Gairwyn contacted me, and then told me, her friend, Kendra was dead, along with her entire family. And Gairwyn's husband and brother-in-law were killed by horus guards." he said and he started shaking violently. "Never thought that would happen, how convenient." he said sternly to him then.
"That's twice in 3 years your never thinking things through killed, or nearly killed, Asgard protected planets." Hammond said sternly and he swallowed hard. "But the SGA are doing the Races, starting now, you got goa'uld planets, is that clear!" Landry said sternly and she swallowed hard at that. "Sorry Thor, we're making a switch, we do you, the Tollan, the Nox and Ancients, along with the French Colony ring only." Daniel said and the quartet nodded gently.
"You guessed correctly, the DHD actually circulates to navigate the galaxy, without crossing paths with a sun on the edge of going supernova, or turning into a blackhole now. Preventing what happened on K'tau, the SGC dialing computer, is far more primitive now. Resulting in said problems now, such as punching a hole through the binary star of a planet. However the SGA is far more advanced, patient and caring, we like you." Lya said gently and they nodded then.
"Oops, yeah not good, that's why I said that to her, she violated several control codes to get a lock, all that could result in, instead of killing a planet by drying it out. By causing the sun to go supernova, or turn into a blackhole, that happens it's going to incinerate the planet. The same way that 451 was destroyed." Rodney said and Sam swallowed, never realizing that was what DHD's were for, to prevent these scenarios from happening at the time as Jack paled at that.
"But you recall Dan's opinion of John's idea to entertainment, what's entertainment to us, we're soaking in culture?" Daniel asked and they smiled. "That would be going to an opera viewing, we're doing a night on the town, going to see Wayne Newton. Going hang-gliding and seeing a culture for real from above, going to the Circus, our officer's children. They're all budding scientists, sports we play are racquetball, tennis, basket or volley." Rodney said to him then.
"So what's Pyrus's ring to you exactly?" he asked and they smiled in delight. "We see a chance to see what France was like back in the 17th century, and even better. They're on the coastline, but good food, good entertainment, we get to see their oldest traditions as used now. As they were then, if Pyrus brought the Feast Of Fools with him, we get to see the festival in practice again!" Balinsky said smiling and he nodded. "It is, Cam." he said and he smiled in delight.
"Based on what he told me, he knew soon enough the festival would be banned here on Earth, for all the sacrilege, and brought it with him to La Rochelle, but changed the date. To the Disney version of the story, needless to say, checking out the square, I saw his Romani Gypsies. They were pointing out the spots used for it, as they geared up for the festival in 5 months." he said and they smiled. "His gypsies all match their cartoon selves?" Landry said with a chuckle then.
"Yeah including Esme herself, short of Esmerelda, she's absolutely beautiful now, her off the stage self, she looks like her cartoon illustration, Clopin with her now. Meeting me, they realized I'm nothing like the green soldiers, that came to Calais and Montpellier. I'm a scholar, seeing a kind hearted, non prejudiced 33.5 year old man, they see a scholar of history. Soaking up their oldest traditions, wanting a good show and they did a demo." he said and Picard chuckled then.
"Typical, for a young scholar, wanting to see their oldest traditions, they decided on a demo, to put on a demonstration of the feast, as you watch this for yourself. And see it in action, the traditions as used now, as they were till 1477 in my country. But there it is, perform recon: you trek out a good 30 miles, in every direction, determine threats. And said green soldiers so ignorant of safety protocols, why is their blue visitor so knowledgable of safety. Offered their guest a drink of wine, their guest declines and then they realize it, their guest knows better. Then to be drinking on duty, and is watching for trouble and Clopin had a knowing smile, I just proved it."
"I'm nothing like the green soldiers they caught in their web, even the green female soldier, and she fell victim to their web, their blue guest now. Was smarter than they were, knowing drinking on duty, called on by the blue and green admirals, is forbidden. Had rules, and alcohol is a blood thinner, so no drinking on duty." he said and Hammond and Landry nodded. "Indeed, with a torn artery, you're going to kill yourself, by drinking here." Matheson said sternly to that news then.
"I brought this back with me, hey Professor, you better check this out." he said, passing them his notes on everything he learned, that did not include military intel. As Catherine read through it and smiled. "Henry, we're looking at an old French historian's treasure trove here, the areas's underlined, and trice, specifically say here. Though enjoying yourselves, remain cautious, for anyone getting beyond flirtatious, and no drinking on duty here." she said and he took it then.
And he read through it, and smiled. "Aramis and Porthos dropped in, the 3rd week there, and they invited you to a gentle demo of the feast. As you saw everything you needed, so no drinking, but watch the festivities, yes. Yes, I'd say this will come in handy, but I'm going there when you're 16 baby, get a feel for it, before you start college. I'll bring you with me, they meet you, and for the following 13 years, they watch you grow up." he said gently and he nodded
"Yeah I much rather go to the SGA, soak in the living culture, they been doing this for centuries, real french culture, compared to what Chevy saw on the movie." Parker said smiling and Jack paled. "Yeah that's France, but the other rings are from Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, even Denmark, you're talking 300 years in the past, beyond beautiful. Before the creation of tv and the media came along, we see things as used now, as they are then." he said and they smiled.
Realizing he didn't care, he was perfectly happy in Pyrus's kingdom, to him, everything that Jack and Makepeace perceived as dangerous was not to him, everything he perceived as dangerous. To Jack, he saw as not, and now one of Daniel's spots just scared the living hell out of him and everyone, now, that saw him as a traitor. And while the scientists saw that as the perfect vacation spot to themselves, to the full soldiers it was dangerous, and to be avoided at all costs.
"Hey guys, though be careful, just relax, and once hearing just for you, then no take, it could be drugged, if not said at all, then anything resembling alcohol. Is to be avoided at all costs, commit the smell to memory, if it doesn't smell of cider. Then avoid with extreme caution, lock the door to your room and shower, no making a scene during dinner. if it involves the elixir, but they mark you by cub, be ready for getting tickled at the table." Daniel said to his side gently.
And they nodded. "Thanks for the warning, I can use that, 1980, I'm a just out of the academy spec ops, Frank with me now. As we're under command by the general, back then Colonel, and we're scouting out Pyrus's kingdom. Before you start, and check this out, but that's 17.5 years worth of trading with them, it's beyond normal. You started at 21, after graduating from the university, and you're an expecting father too, so all too easy." Dixon said and Daniel nodded.
"In truth, that elixir was actually used to tie me down at an early age, I'm married to my college sweetie, and we been trying for a long time, and it finally happened." he said and Anna started laughing. "I get the point, either you gave it to me, or me to you, we had our memories back first, and we been trying for 3 years and it finally happened. As Nicky, in that image is 10, well born in 1986, he's 12, and us using it again, resulted in the twins." Sarah said and he nodded.
"Unlike Randolph, who had to do anything to prevent her husband from getting frisky in the bedroom, we been trying for 3 years in college, and it finally happened. We just gave your parents, and mine the news, they're expecting grandparents, the first born heir. And to the family name, real or adopted, became a reality, we're getting married. Before we're transferred to Colorado Springs, as I start my job, in '87." he said and she and her parents smiled gently.
"Yep, but I'm not going Steve Martin, I knew you, since you were 18, and I adore you Danny." Gardener said with a chuckle and he nodded. "Yeah your business is well known, but nobody ever applied the business partner portion to your firm, Charlie. Davis Farrow, Joseph Marshall, and Alexander Gardener, partnership of Gardener/Farrow-Marshall." he said and Sam paled, realizing the man the trio's age, was partnership to their defense contracts, and Landry smiled.
"But there is no one I'd rather have children with then you, you and I are young true, we just got out of college yes, but we're from well to do families, and my inheritance. And from my biological father just activated completely, I can afford a nest egg, and we build on our work." he said and she nodded with a smile. "Yeah, your parents are well known, they made trillions as archeologists, we even had a mansion with all the trimmings." she said smiling and he nodded.
"If that's not a way to get pregnant and nothing is here, if you been trying for months or years and nothing, then just use the elixir, and you get a definite hit." Landry said with a chuckle then."Point taken young man, baby, whoever brought that crap to earth, just used it to match themselves to their college or high school soulmates. Not rape, they're being tied at an early age and marriage, at 21, is quite common on our planet." Gardener said gently, bemused then.
"You remember during the years of plenty, they took 1/5th the grain here, before during the years of famine handed it back. That's this now, only these idiots tried to sell me into slavery, but the idea backfired so highly here. They never wanted me, they wanted them, and Pyrus set them up so highly, they were stuck under scrutiny. No matter what they do, but as Jacob is a friend, I had to cut short my business trip." he said and Gardener nodded in understanding.
"I was gathering enough money, so I could come back and propose to Sarah, before she got taken as a host, recruited Steven, Dr. Jordan and Kevin. And we created the SGA, with Catherine and General Landry, because the war shifted when the replicators came into it. Said it's now all research and development, and Adam ordered with-hold the E-1101 now. Which is basically like the serum that was created, by using Junior to do it." he said and they all paled in shock then.
"Ouch, yeah you screwed them over so highly they were stuck under scrutiny no matter what they do, nice work, man." Bishop said laughing and he nodded as Mac's team surrounded him smiling. "You have no idea how screwed you were, Daniel sent back detailed information here on these drugs, why was it he only crashed, because of his appendix, huh. Well the reason is they gave him E-1101, during his second trip back out." Sutherland's double said to her sternly.
"No more like you gave me that, after you and Uncle Dillon checked it, combining it with Earth motaba, and you synthesized the serum and created Alien E-1101." Daniel smiling and he smiled as he hugged him tightly. "That's the third set up, in attempted murder, in 2 years, well fancy that, as Daniel recovers here, and you guys get the trouble. Daniel was the only one following orders, with you dealing with the replicators." Hammond said and they all went white.
"You're not serious, these people are dangerous!" Jack said in shock, and he smiled. "Then you should have left it alone, hmm?" he asked and they all paled, realizing because they hadn't, Daniel didn't care they were afraid, they brought this upon themselves. "That's not my fault you got turned, you're both still holding onto Hathor, and tried to get me fired here. So with knowing you're looking for me, I knew you would never think of what I said till after it's too late."
"On the just for you, but not my fault, you ignored my advice." he said and they went white. "But everything I see fine, you see as dangerous, everything you see as non dangerous I see as, and now one of my spots, an anthropologist's paradise, just scared the hell out of you.
