"This is what I was drinking." he said, holding up a packet and Hammond took it. "Have that analyzed, hopefully there's two of them." he said and they nodded. "There is, one in chocolate the other in vanilla." Daniel said and they nodded in relief then, as Perry took it to the lab, and came back with a smile on his face. "It's exactly as he considered, it's a mixture of ground up superfoods, together creating a milk shake, to hold you off food wise." he said and they smiled.
"There's no presence of the sarcophagus effects in it either, just 90 super food based nutrients, this is what had him buzzing after he got back." Davidson said and Hammond nodded. "So you been drinking this between meals, for weeks and you look stronger then I ever seen you. Okay well this will be good for traveling, you're going to need it, if you're out of food. On dangerous missions, because you're not leaving indications to expose you." Warner said to this smiling.
"Nice thinking Daniel whatever flavor we like, we can set it to that, and drink this, when on missions like the heliopolis now, and this gives Ernest his strength. Because I've been on it, ever since you found this." Catherine said smiling and he smiled and Sam swallowed hard, realizing what kind of mistake she made, by Jack chasing him around. That she destroyed a medical trade deal of over 700 decillion in monetary amounts, because she wasn't ready to settle down.
"Captain you call this dangerous, he needs to be confined, he's addicted to the sarcophagus, seems to us, he's been on a healthfood binge. One that made him stronger then we ever seen him, and that would have stayed there, if you controlled that temper of your's." Hammond said and she went pale. "What we see here, is by you reading his diary, information for no one's eyes but his own, the fact he wants more to eat then this, you just don't want him being this free."
"But this was why, after you said that, he slammed that resignation paper on my desk, but as you saw, he told me already, he been on mission for his uncles. The quintet all that time, he said now, in truth that he was going on sabbatical, that sabbatical was on 636. But if they're devout Catholics, bordering on Jesuits, then this is that 17th century catch. In exorcisms, you basically helped an attempted murder along by saying it." he said and she went white at that.
"Daniel you think you can talk to them, after you start at age 21, get us these, in the first 50, along with the healthfood mega shakes?" Matheson asked and he nodded. "I can try, but it means a heavy catch in trade, I have to determine what Athos, Porthos. Aramis, Dartagnan and Raoul want first, before I can agree to that trade here now, but yeah I think so. Entering the 90's this gives the added energy to keep going, but we been on it so long, in the SGA now."
"And the academy, it replaces the wired appearance the energy drinks give off, those are loaded with caffeine and sugar, these are the real food. In retrospect here, is the SGA academy is living off the diet that a sports camp would, to give extra energy, without the side effects. Is less sugar and caffeine, stay away from the toxic chemicals, and less protein. More mixture of all five now, so with that you get plenty of energy now here." he said and Matheson nodded, smiling.
"Agreed that's the perfect diet for a cadet, alright then, Michael, I'm assigning Major James Dayton to the Academy, and moving it to the SGA academy. But Danny's right, and I'm saying this for every coach and medical doctor treating the kids, is stay away from the energy drinks. That crap is a crash and trip to the hospital waiting to happen, kids, I mean that, I'm a rehab specialist, but I do cubs, so expect to see me in basic." he said and the junior teams nodded.
"James Dayton, as in Charlie and Bill Dayton, my Charlie and Bill?" Wesley asked and Matheson nodded. "Your friends, yes that's exactly who I mean, so he's their grandfather, but he's my age, so the SGC Academy gets your counterpart medical Doctor, you have me. And the Air Force Academy, has their grandfather, okay." he said and Wesley nodded, smiling. "Nice catch, at least my friends and I know the regime, we been living with it for 370 years right now."
"But you taught me a little too well, in SGA training protocol, to get by undetected, but like I figured out, wearing the shield, I'm a dot, hiding amongst 1,500 other dots. Removed I vanish right off the screen, and in order to locate me, is by actually here trying to isolate me. From the others of the crew." he said and Daniel chuckled. "Exactly, want to get by undetected, with us carrying these, take it off, and you vanish right off the screen." he said and Picard chuckled.
"But yeah that works, the entirety of the SGA is drinking it, and we've all never felt better, because it removes the excess sugar and caffeine. Said that most doses of coffee and energy drinks gives off, and replaces it with the energy given. And from a very good breakfast and energy bar, so nobody is falling asleep on the job." Raynor said and he nodded. "But guys, I'm saying this now cubs, but your diet switch over here, excess of loading of calcium, protein."
"Carbs, together, you got alot of energy now, if you're needing a recharge, and one that needs to be addressed now, drink that, as it wakes you up instantly. Now I'm serious now guys, health regime here, but 1) the five basic food groups, but you can treat yourselves. If you want, 2) just take it easy on the stims, and 3) stay away from the toxic chemicals." Daniel said and both teams nodded smiling and Landry chuckled, knowing he was going papa bear with his students.
"And by stims, you mean stimulates, like excess caffeine and sugar?" Picard said to clarify and be nodded. "If that's why Wes nearly collapsed out of exhaustion then yeah, he been on too much caffeine and sugar. And needed a real meal, before he caved and got into Data's apartment right now." he said and Wes nodded. 'Yeah that works I can hide in Data's bedroom, I just have to download Lal into the computer first." he thought, hiding a smile and he nodded.
"Yeah Danny, you just gave him an idea here." Hammond said with a chuckle and he nodded. "My job, dad, my job, I'm his mentor, our time to his, but his version of me, is my grandson, so Danny, that's your job, you may have his friends, but be there if he needs you right now. But question, before the time travel catch, who is your student?" he asked and he smiled. "His best friend's twin brother Charlie Dayton and Robin Lefler." he said and Daniel nodded smiling then.
"Charlie's on the ship right now with Billy, but they, Robin and a friend of their's are my students, but the said red, acting like these hotshots, his name is Charlie Barlowe. My Charlie is carrying the same first initials as Hanson's, so we called him Charlie, Charlie's own version. Of Hanson, his name is Peter Jonas Hanson, by that I mean your Hanson." he said and Daniel closed his eyes. "As in Captain Jonas Hanson?" Hammond asked and he nodded sternly then.
"Must be his sister's family then, Hanson is dead." Daniel said and Hammond nodded. "Raise the Bar, Sirs?" he added to him, in suggestion of tactics and Picard and Landry nodded. "Agreed, and we're studying so highly to get in over there, that making the SGA, is a big achievement. Because we're the future crew of the Enterprise D." Rodney said smiling and Shepard nodded exchanging smiles with Teyla, Weir and Keller and Picard chuckled at that response then.
"Jean Luc, your ship is connected right to us, so with that, in order to get into Starfleet, raise the bar, they have to get 5,000 on their SAT's to get into Starfleet, tests. Before they can get into Starfleet as we're creating it, they have to pass their training exams to get in. Wes, you, Jake and Lal know that bar, a few items missing no big deal, chalk that up to here. As you want something done right, you have to do it yourself." Landry said and they nodded, smiling then.
"Wasn't that the achievement in getting into the Fleet academy?" Cam said and he nodded then. "Yeah it is, and that's not if you're from a family of scientists, but the SGC carries officers only scoring 3,000, we're space travel by ship. The jumpers now, we're at times using the gates, others by jumpers, that traveling into hyperspace here. Said leads to a slight mishap, and one that, if the ship is on, could electrocute you by accident 1) here." Landry said to him then.
"And 2) is the fact you have to know and calculate the entire galaxy, like Casper's ex did, you have to know what you're doing. But exact calculations, thrust the wrong way, you could run it into a planet, like Davis said now to Carter. That like Harrison said, exact coordinates, for a hyperspace jump ain't like dusting crops, without exact measurements. You could jump too close to a blackhole or supernova, that can get you killed real quick." Daniel said and he nodded.
"That's the attitude I take with officers, guys, as such here, this was why I was testing Will on the pilot episode, but saucer sep, that's as dangerous as it gets." Picard said and he nodded then. "Yeah mom, Sir, we better tell them on the first day, our relationship, more then mom's best friend, but my biological father's commander. The last time you saw me was 4 years prior, and you knew my scores were high enough to into the academy." Wesley said and they smiled.
"Yeah 4 years baby, but 6, 11 and now a teenager, and you need a positive male influence in your life, but Will is considered big brother, and with him, Geordi. But you're right, you're leader of the junior crew, behind Sarah and Brad's team, and you lead. In the pre on the job training cadets here now, but you're my back up, as you do what I can't. But from you, to the engineering team, to security, to command and right to me now." Beverly said to that gently.
"Good point, well if you have to do that twice son, then we break the news to Sarah, Will, Data and James now, and soon it's all over the ship in a week. But then you're the son of my best friend, and I love you, so to me, Radue tries that twice, he's in big trouble. But Beverly, I can take him till you get back, but whoever asks that question in truth here. Is asking for the reprimand from hell now, our relationship is none of their business." Picard said and she nodded.
"We know how good you are really are here, after the virus incident, but what you don't need are your abilities, intellect and title thrown at you every time you turn around. It's family business and as that traveler is not family, I will kindly tell him to stay out of our affairs here. But from now on, he better stay away from you, you are off limits." he said sternly and Wes smiled then, knowing that summed it up, he, Picard and his mother were family now then.
"Well 5 though huh, no big deal, I can score that, but I like my ship, I learn better in hands on, but that's my ship, my crew, my captain, so screw with me, you better start running. As the gloves are coming off, because drugged, 4 good ideas in an hour, but thinking straight. Then you better get out of my way, before I throw everything I have at you." Wesley said and they chuckled. "Yeah these idiots have no idea who they're screwing with." Geordi said with a smile.
"And the possessive tone hits now, yeah we belong to you alright, so screw with you, whoever it is better watch their back." Picard said smiling in affection. "I don't think Etana realized who she was screwing with here, because when you take on that tone. Then whoever it is, has no clue who they're screwing with here, we're your family and crew. The ship is home, that to you, mess with us, they have a dangerous enemy on their hands now here." Beverly said to that gently.
"Yeah that and the fact I'm making that quite clear, before I tell Sito privately here at the time, what the penalty is, what it has been for 370 years, since you started, Admiral. And with that in mind, you made this decision back when my grandfather was a kid here. The Kolvoord starburst was forbidden, has been since Commander Jackson was a teenager. But 'You think the duo are not going to realize you're lying right now, how long before my friends come to the conclusion."
"In case you're not realizing it, the admiral has requested my captain to be involved in investigations. Once we got something like this comes up, the crew becomes a detective agency. And from there the truth is coming out, I know the trio and my mother better than you do Nick. But if I know anything it's this that Brand ordered and requested my crew to run that investigation in the crash and to the captain, where I'm concerned, after something like this."
"Is he's digging into it and getting to the bottom of it no matter what, he's the best captain in Starfleet, but it's because he's looking at all the factors here. But his flight and combat skills are better than you think, but to put this firmly, he's not just some captain. Telling everyone what to do, Nick, let me make this clear, but he and Commander Riker hunted down. And destroyed the alien queen that killed Captain Keel, he may seem like a stand by captain, but he's not."
"He's the best at what he does, and he knew every flight maneuver in the training manual when it comes to pilot training. And once the captain realizes you chose a banned maneuver for the commencement demonstration as well. He's going to present that information to them, but either way, the truth is coming out, by us or by him, it doesn't matter which. If you're really thinking this, then he's going to realize when checking the stories of everyone on campus."
"And when he figures it out and you're screwed, as for me, it's done with, he's my parents best friend, my mentor, you think he's just going to accept this right now. I've never lied to him since he appointed me for hands on training and we already had this discussion the year before I left. The same is said for the commander and with it now, is the fact that our bonds are more than you think. And in case you mind isn't firing on all cylinders right now, that's what this."
"This photo really was, they're my mentors, my teachers, my friends, nothing is going to change that, and with it ever since I got that chance, I made a promise to them. Said promise is if I was in trouble come forward and tell them what it is, and now that it has I'm keeping that promise. Everything they taught me is so clear it's enough I'm not violating that trust, that bond, for you, so forget it." he snapped at him as he went further as they heard his tone firm up sternly then.
"Before you say it, I've never lied to the 7 before, so why should I start now, because this is enough to get us in trouble anyway, Nick. You lied to them whether you want to admit or not. What happened was not Josh's fault and this is an insult to his memory now." Wesley told him and he watched as his eyes firmed at that as he went further than sternly. My captain is going to see through the deception immediately, you may think he's not as smart as he looks."
"But you don't know him at all and the same is said for the guys: Data, Commander La Forge, I know them better than they know themselves, and they know me better than I know myself. How do you suppose they're going to take it when I'm being evasive here, huh. You think they're not going to realize it, they raised me for a year themselves here now and with it. I came to depend on them for everything after mom left to return to earth at the time here."
"The Commander is my godfather, and Counselor Troi my godmother, he's my adoptive father, the guys my trio, Lieutenant Worf, my other mentor. The Captain himself, my mother and he are engaged, I never lied to them before, I will not start now. But you know what, I am so sick of this, this catch, because I serve under the best crew ever. But you think you'll get special treatment by attempting this, no not going to happen, you do this, you're never living it down."
"No forget it, I'm not lying to them now, not after everything I've gone through. As I said they practically raised me themselves after mom and I joined the crew. They trained me in the ethics and beliefs that made up Starfleet and this goes against everything we stand for right now as well. We're Starfleet cadets, we have a duty to the truth, be it scientitific, ethical, or personal. And this choice and decision goes against everything we stand for too, in total truth here."
"I swore to them I'd never lie to them, I never lied to them before, I'm not about to start now, Nick. Captain Picard is my captain and has been since I was added to the crew myself, his trust and respect mean more to me than anything you could understand. I'd never break his trust in me and in case you haven't figured it out, that's why they kept me home for 18 months. And before I came back, so I could recover from 6 months lack of sleep, they're already ticked off."
"And enough regarding that, that my joining the squadron has landed me back in my mother's care for sleep deprivation and malnutrition. But do you honestly think he's going to let this go when I'm suffering from recovering from a broken arm. and a concussion, no he's not, he's going to be furious at that and it's because your decisions. It cost one cadet his life this week, and with him nearly a second too, but do you honestly think that the sextet are going to stop."
And at nothing to get to the bottom of this. And not when they know I'm in trouble, they're going to see that I'm feeling guilty. And get me to open up to them here, and what's that going to do." he said to him with a firm growl to them. "And before you say it right now, the adults are not as you might think this was against the law, the captain's generation banned it from use. But I told you that it was too close too together and yet you still wanted to try it at that angle."
"But you consider why though regarding his parents, and mine. Well it's because his father was a Starfleet officer, as is my mother, he and I are Starfleet born. But we both grew up on starships, the maneuever was too close together, Nick. Doing it that close together is way too dangerous, you had the damn calculations off and it could have killed me in the process. And how do you suppose my mother, let alone Captain Picard, would react once here now."
"That Commanders La Forge and Data figure it out exactly, huh." he said to him sternly at that remark. "Because they figure it out and bring it to the attention of the committee you're toast for lying to them after that. Aside from that our parents, his and mine, would sue you for murder this way anyway. And you'd be expelled from the academy, one way or the other. The choice is clear, we have to tell them the truth, and again, I've never lied to my mother."
"Or the sextet, or the crew and I'm not about to start now at the moment here either and npt after the last few traumas I've had and this is right up there with dealing with a repeat of the damned justice panel, regarding the commander. The first duty of any Starfleet officer is we have a duty to the truth, be it science, ethical or personal. And this is considered the third right now, so no, I'm not lying to him or the admiral." he said and Picard smiled proudly at that.
"Wes, listen to me, with your mother on board the hood, since you were 10, I been training you for 5 years, that I told this to her and Bill directly. You're very good true, but what you don't need are your powers, skills and title thrown at you every time you turn around. Your training is family business, and as that parasite is not family, just tell him the truth here. That we will kindly advise him to stay out of our affairs, just stay away from you, you are off limits now.
"There we go, back on your path again, but you're right, you get enough attention as it is, but we make a quick change, as after 4 years under training. And by Daniel, our version now, your mother, Will, Deanna and I have a sit down talk, as we decide what's in your best interest. That interest is, you're being trained in on the job training, and no special treatment here. I knew you all your life, as you set aside Jack, and you, your mother and I move on." He said to him then.
"We just fix the situations that got you targeted by him, and problem solved, if not me or Will, or your mom, tell the engineering team, and we fix these situations. So no one, but us, knows you're the one getting us out of the situations we get into, the Q powers, they are as strong. As the ancient powers, and your father was Ancient descent, but his mistake now, in truth. Left us and Walker grieving here, ever since." he said and Wesley nodded gently to him, in relief then.
As the quintet smiled and nodded. "Yeah that and you want to stay home, the ship is home, we're home." Deanna said smiling and Will squeezed his shoulder with paternal love then. "With Tasha back, I better play the game back for her, because she's going to see I took the security. In the Controls in that way too far, with Robin and Bill's help." he said and they nodded. "Yeah we know, but at least you never blew your ankle out, but you scared me out of my wits here."
"But my 19 year old student, trying to climb back up is not as easy as getting down there is." Will said gently and he nodded. "Well I never been happier to get you guys back, things back to normal, like we always were. Fast truth, and now back to being your star pupil again, like always." he said and they smiled gently. "Love you too son, and we're glad we got the truth, before Oma's traveler counterpart took you away from us." Picard said smiling at that remark.
"Five, are you kidding me, you have to get that much to get into training at the SGA!" Jack shouted in shock and everyone of the SGA smiled sternly. "The idea, if we come under attack, is to send the best and brightest Colonel, so when the time comes. You will stand alongside, every man or woman on this base, in defense of this facility." he said and Jack swallowed. "But Sir…" he started to say. "I ask no more or less of myself, dismissed!" Landry snapped and he choked.
"Heads up!" they heard get shouted and they ducked, as something ricocheted of the railing and hit the window. "Alex, what the hell was that!" Brandon shouted out and they heard a teenage voice call back to him. "Stevenson was playing with the Zats, and set it off, Brandon!" he called out and they nodded. "Would you tell them to stop playing with those already, before you shoot one of us here, enough already, Alex." Jenny called back to him and knew he nodded to that.
"Issues in the 17 year age difference, and you're practically our version of Obi-wan, we're Luke." Brandon said and Daniel chuckled. "Yeah I know that son, but listen to me, before you go in there half cocked, assess things first, it could be a trap. Or they could be trying to deceive you, so to focus, knock out the hosts, before they kill each other. Jen got the right answer, but you're both right, that 1) never allow your personal feeling get in the way, 2) there's a third option."
"And 3) if it's a trap, set half the team at the other end, so one of you shoots the Tok'ra, the other the host now, can't tell who's who. Then never mind listening to the bickering, just shoot them both and then sort it out. Once you guys are in the clear, but that's SGC, SGA, you're training behind the cockpit, you are a true training ensign. So choose the correct method, but stay focused, and save the debate, till after they're unconscious." he said and they nodded.
"But Will's right, about Commander Rice now, if you don't find the correct solution, because the other three can get you captured, go to a fourth and use that." he said and they nodded smiling. "Alright so attacking head on: getting captured, try to escape through the shuttle bay: getting captured, destroy the whatever: getting captured, if the ship is under siege. Then option 4: distraction and diversion, by your connection to the compromised." Wesley said and he nodded.
"Bingo, that's it exactly, you chose the correct option, but 3 acts careful planning, act 4: slightly reckless, if that distraction by your connection doesn't work. Then use something they would never allow you to do in training, because this is going to bring out the parent. In the targeted so fast, you just overwhelmed Etana's control here." he said and they covered their eyes. "Well that explains everything, he used what you taught your version." Will said and he nodded then.
"As for your risking getting caught in the blast to save me, before setting the charge, get whoever the target was out of range first. Hook it up and then book and we take cover in the hallway, because right below the window, it's going to destroy that wall next." he said and they nodded smiling then. "Like you said, the better teacher, he's a full soldier, you're like us, but you're our mentor, Colonel." Jenny said and he smiled and nodded, looking between then.
"Like I said, in playing with those, is an electrocution waiting to happen here." Daniel said to her and she nodded. "Yeah like standing on the stairs are, these stairs are made of metal, and steel is a conductor." she said in response and he nodded gently. "Those stairs will amplify the blast, and enough you could have it stop your heart baby, and I told this to Jack. In the middle of the obstacle course, she was trapped in a metal cage, and not even rubber boots will protect you."
"And there's the other reason you should be in the SGA, you're less likely to get electrocuted, by weapons that kill on two shots, and have you erased on 3." he said and they nodded. "We know, but we maybe cubs to you, we just never took the weapon off stun mode, so still innocent. I know that was training game, but I still can't believe I had to shoot to kill." she said and he nodded. "I know and don't worry baby, training mode only." he said and she smiled in affection.
"Sirs, the SGA training covers things, but simulations here, and my skills are better put to trade deals, training my students, and what my job currently is. But the SGA are Starfleet, everything we would be teaching at Starfleet, in Wes's present, we're the present. As we're teaching that at the base in Antarctica, but F-302's are simply better fighter jets here. The SGA are going one higher, but if the system acts up, it's that Dixon Hill story again." he said and they nodded.
"And there's the tone of a true training instructor/mentor, you're being the listening ear, but this is why they prefer Daniel to you, Colonel. As he said, aren't you being a little tough on these guys, because they only just got out of basic training, this is training. You make a mistake you can try again tomorrow, but they're just cadets still, Lt. second class sure. We just don't see them that way, still cadets, still innocent, now calm down." Hammond said and he swallowed.
"Talk about wires crossed, after you went through the obstacle course, it took the nectar of that flower you ate to heal you, but if that is just a taste of what alien remedies and drugs can do. But what about the people refining these things, that's worth even more right now, but I guess to you little brats he's dangerous, him and his courts. This is why the SGA is doing him, they're all science department, and some military, you're the troops." Carson said sternly to them then.
"The NID want me out of the program, yeah okay I'm gone, but before I go, I get the last trade deal done, one worth 750 Decillion, in 180 drugs, medical research. And blankets, better than any hospital blanket we have on earth." Daniel said and they all went white in fear at that, realizing that was enough to get them all killed. And as the entire IOA and joint chiefs looked at them in fury. "Seven-hundred fifty, it's 750 Decillion." Clinton said slowly, crossing his arms.
"That's enough to fund the program 100 times over!" Every SGC team said in shocked disbelief and he nodded. "Well Senator what say you now, your number was $7,407,000,000, his $750,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. The medical care insurance card worth 750 decillion, and you say we make absolutely no progress right now?" Hammond said and he paled, realizing he was screwed, this was worth 900x's more than the number he gave out.
"Bert instead of starting with the system lords, we're doing the races and Pyrus's kingdom first that to you, this is perfect, no danger. You know how much we got done, but imagine what we bring back, what we learn and rather than, our current problems after you did double agent." Daniel said and he nodded. "And he calls what you get into, in the SGC, excitement, I call that cold blooded murderer, I'm a humanitarian." he said in disgust and Jack jerked at that remark.
"Tell me about it, aside from Sha're I only joined up, to be a protector, but that protecting, is like being part of Starfleet, we're forbidden and reluctant. And to interfere in the affairs, of other planets here." he said and Adams crossed his arms. "You think Keith, once he takes on Holland's personality from the book, will take this well. As Eric was the perfect example, of trying to catch a host." he said and Daniel nodded. "You never seen Adam if he loses it." he said to him gently.
"Lieutenant General, Dr., Adam Parker, get a look at him, at David, who do you see exactly?" he asked and they and Dixon looked at them. "I see Donald Sutherland and Eric, on the Puppet Masters." Dixon said and he nodded. "Nivens is actually Adam's personality traits, but Keith in becoming a smart ass, is asking for the reprimand from hell, once you start getting crude here." he said and Hammond chuckled then, as the said medical general crossed his arms, bemused.
"Alright baby, don't start making jokes, but there's the you I know alright." the man said gently and he nodded. "And to say this again, I wouldn't repeat whatever was said around the General, right now, Lieutenant." Barnes said and Cam nodded.
