Chapter 6: The Vorpal Sword:
Bayard's POV:
I arrived at the White Princess' castle. She came out and greeted me and I gave her Cookie. "Your Majesty," says Cookie, "I'm covered in dog slobber!"
"Don't worry," says the White Princess, "you'll be well taken care of. Well done, Bayard." She then petted me.
Alice's POV:
I was sitting beside the Red Queen and Cyrus was still in my pocket. "What do we do now," asks Cyrus.
"Just stay quiet," I said.
"Can you believe this Alice thinks she can kill my Jabberwock," asks the Red Queen.
"I still don't know what that is, but I do know how terrible it is," says Cyrus.
"Are... you scared," I asked.
"Of course not," says the Red Queen, "besides, she can't do anything to my Jabberwock without the Vorpal Blade! It's the only thing that can kill my Jabberwock! I have it locked in the Bandersnatch's den!"
"Wow, she is easy to get answers from," says Cyrus.
Then the Red Knight came. "Your Majesty." He kisses her hand and then sees me. "Who's your friend?"
"My new favorite," says the Red Queen, "Um."
"And what is her name," says the Red Knight.
"Um," says the Red Queen.
"Your name seems to have escaped Her Majesty's mind," says the Red Knight.
"Her name is Um you idiot," says the Red Queen.
"I have to go now," I said.
. . .
I then found Tarrant. He was making hats. "They're all lovely," I said, "it's just too bad they're going on a head that doesn't deserve them."
Tarrant then flips out and starts wrecking things. "Alice, it's getting harder and harder to control myself," says Tarrant, "tell me, have I gone mad?"
"I think you have," I said, "and I think that's a good thing!"
"Wait," says Tarrant, "where's Cyrus?"
"I'm in Alice's pocket," says Cyrus.
. . .
I was in the halls when the Red Knight came. He had his hands on me. "I really like you, Um," says the Red Knight.
Cyrus then bites his hand and I hit him and then run.
. . .
"Can you believe him," asks Cyrus.
"You sound a little jealous," I said.
"I just don't like the way he was trying to-"
"Wait," I said, "the Bandersnatch's den!"
I then managed to sneak in and grabbed the Vorpal Sword. The Bandersnatch then faced me. I returned its eye and the Bandersnatch was grateful.
Red Queen's POV:
"Your Majesty," says the Knight, "it was her who tried to seduce me, but I said my heart only belongs to you!"
"Find her," says the Queen.
Alice's POV:
Just as we were about to leave. "Going somewhere," asks the Knight.
"You think he might be a little mad, Alice," asks Cyrus.
"Alice," asks the Knight, "Alice!"
The Bandersnatch then helps us get away.
