Chapter 12: Futterwhacken:

Alice's POV:

The Jabberwock is no more, the Red Queen is taken away, and the White Queen now rules Underland. Tarrant then celebrates by doing the Futterwhacken.

"Wow, so that is the Futterwhacken," says Cyrus.

"Glorious, isn't it," asks Cheshire.

"You may now return to your world," says the White Queen.

"But how," I asked, "the Griffin and Mock Turtle are both dead, aren't they?"

"Yes," says the White Queen, "the Griffin tried to fight the Jabberwock, but it killed him and then ate the Mock Turtle, but do not worry. There is always the White Rabbit's way."

"We can go back the way we came in," says Cyrus, "this place is mental, yet also brilliant!"

"Goodbye Alice and Cyrus," says Tweedle Dee.

"Come back some time," says Tweedle Dum.

"Enjoy your journey back to your world," says the Dodo.

"Remember me," asks Bill the Lizard, "you sent me flying? Good times."

"We'll miss you," says Mally.

"Come by for my Unbirthday," says Thackery.

"Take care," says Cheshire.

"Don't forget to write," says Cookie.

"Tarrant," I said, "how is a raven like a writing desk?"

"Still star craving mad, I see," says Tarrant.

. . .

Nivins then helped us get back to our world.

"Well, that was something I will never forget," says Cyrus.

"There are some things I must take care of," I said.

. . .

The first thing I did was break off my betrothal to Hamish. "I just don't think we're a good match," I said, "also, I happen to like rabbits. Especially white ones."

"I'm not happy about it," says Hamish, "but fine. Besides, I can see you have your eyes set on another anyway."

I'm pretty sure he was talking about Cyrus.

. . .

I then gave Lord Ascot the idea of establishing trade routes to Hong Kong. He agreed to take me on as an apprentice. As we were sailing, I held Cyrus' hands. I then saw a butterfly land on my shoulder. "Hello Absolem."
