King Triton holds the flower Ariel gave him, laughing, "Let's see, now... Oh, who could the lucky merman be?"

Triton notices Sebastian and coughs to compose himself.

"Come in, Sebastian."

"I mustn't overreact," whispered Sebastian, "I must remain calm."

Sebastian scampers down the path to the towering throne.

Sebastian then squeaked, "Yes... Ahem, Yes, your majesty?"

"Now, Sebastian, I'm concerned about Ariel. Have you noticed she's been acting peculiar lately?"

"Peculiar?"

"You know, moaning about, daydreaming, singing to herself... You haven't noticed, hmm?"

"Oh - well, I -"

"Sebastian..."

"Hmmm?"

"I know you've been keeping something from me..."

Sebastian takes a gulp.

"Keeping... something?"

"About Ariel?"

Sebastian notices his legs are shaking and covers them.

"Ariel?"

"In love?"

Sebastian then freaked out, sobbing, "I tried to stop her, sir. She wouldn't listen. I told her to stay away from humans - they are bad, they are trouble, they-"

"Humans? What about humans?!"

Sebastian then realized he screwed up big time.

"Humans?" he asked nervously, "Who said anything about humans?"

Triton grabs Sebastian and pulls him away.

"Flounder," said Ariel, "Why can't you just tell me what this is all about?"

"You'll see," said Flounder.

"Next time you go someplace, tell us please," said Seth, "I had trouble finding you."

In the grotto, they found the statue of Eric in the middle.

"Oh, Flounder you're the best!"

"I imagine that was no easy feat to move."

Ariel then went to the statue, and said, "Hello Eric. What's that? Run away with you? Oh, this is all so sudden."

Ariel then giggled, and Seth then looked at her, as Eva's ears perked up. She looked around, and cried, "VOI!"

"What's up partner?" asked Seth. He then wheezed, "HAAAA YAP PA YADA HEPA, ARIEL!"

Ariel gasped, "Daddy!"

"I consider myself a reasonable merman. I set certain rules, and I expect those rules to be obeyed!"

"But Daddy-"

"Is it true that you saved a human from drowning!?"

"Daddy, I had to-"

"Ariel, contact with the human world is strictly forbidden, and did you bring this, scoundrel, here as well!?"

"VOI VEE!" snapped Eva.

"She's right, we're not all bad! I fight oppression on a daily basis! As for why I'm here, I have no clue. I just woke up in this thing."

"Besides," said Ariel, "You don't even know him!"

"Know him!? They're all the same! Spineless, harpooning fish eaters, and-"

"ALMOST 30% OF HUMANS DON'T EVEN TOUCH SEA FOOD, AND I'M ONE OF THEM! FISH ARE CREATURES WHO DESERVE BETTER!"

Triton was taken back by this.

"If you want to harm Ariel, you'll have to get through me! She's my friend, and if you can't accept that, then you'll have to kill me!"

Triton looked at him, and continued, "Well, he is an exception, seeing as he shows heart. I'll allow it. But you must never speak of this world to anyone! Is that clear!?"

"Crystal."

"As for you young lady-"

"DADDY I LOVE HIM!"

Everyone in the grotto fell silent. Seth and Eva hid behind a rock, and Lapras swam out.

"No. Have you lost your senses completely!? HE'S A HUMAN, YOU'RE A MERMAID!"

"I don't care."

"So help me Ariel, I will make you see sense! If this is the only way, so be it!"

Triton then destroyed everything in the grotto, and Seth took cover, holding Eva tight. Soon, nothing remained, and Ariel fell, crying. Triton looked at Ariel, and felt some regret for what he did.

Sebastian then said, "Ariel, I-"

"It was YOU!" snapped Seth, "YOU TOLD HIM!"

"YOU try and keep secrets from Triton when he's demanding and angry!"

"Just go," said Ariel.

Everyone then left, and Seth said, "Ariel, I'll always be here for you. Just, let me know when you wanna talk."

Ariel continued to cry, and she heard a voice.

"Poor child."

"Poor, sweet child."

"She has a very serious problem."

"If only there were something we could do."

Ariel looked up, and saw two eels, each with a single yellow eye on each side

"But there is something."

"Who - who are you?" asked Ariel.

"Don't be scared."

"We represent someone who can help you."

"Someone who could make all your dreams come true."

"Just imagine -"

"You and your prince -"

"Together, forever..." the two finished in unison

"I don't understand." said Ariel.

"Ursula has great powers."

Ariel gasps and places a hand to her heart.

"The sea witch?" she exclaimed, "Why, that's - I couldn't possibly - no! Get out of here! Leave me alone!"

"Suit yourself."

"It was only a suggestion."

One of the Eels flicks the face of the destroyed statue towards Ariel, who picks it up, and looks at it.

"Wait."

"Yes?" asked the eels in unison.

Seth was standing in his bubble with Eva, and Lapras was floating near by. Sebastian and Flounder were on the floor.

"Fine mess you got her into Sebastian," said Seth.

"I didn't mean to tell, it was an accident," said Sebastian.

Before Seth could say anything else, they saw a shadow over them. It was Ariel with the eels.

"Ariel?" asked Sebastian, "Where are you going with these riff rafts?"

"I'm going to see Ursula," said Ariel.

Sebastian gasped, "NO, ARIEL, DON'T DO THAT, SHE'S A DEMON!"

"Why don't you go tell my father? You're good at that."

Ariel then whipped him off her fin, and headed off.

"We gotta go after her!" cried Seth, as he ran off, following.

The eels lead Ariel to a dark cavern. Even sharks don't go down here.

They soon stopped at a cave, and Ariel heard moans.

"This way," said the eels in unison.

Ariel saw many little creatures, and they were moaning. She couldn't make it out, but she felt she heard, "Turn back!/It's a trap!/Don't do it!/Go, you still have a chance!"

"Come in, come in my child," said a voice, "We mustn't lurch in doorways. It's rude."

Ariel then saw a mer folk, only, instead of fins, she had octopus legs.

"One might question your up bringing," she continued, "Now, you're here because you have a thing for this human. This um, prince fellow. And I don't blame you, he is a catch!

"Well angel fish, the answer to your problem is very simple. The only way to get what you want, is to become, a human yourself."

Ariel gasped, "Can you do that?"

Usrula smirked, "My dear, sweet child. That's what I do. It's what I live for. To help unfortunate merfolk like yourself. Poor souls with no one else to turn to."

Seth was watching from a far, and he didn't like this one bit. Neither did Eva or Lapras.

Ursula

๐ŸŽถ I admit that in the past I've been a nasty
๐ŸŽถ They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch
๐ŸŽถ But you'll find that nowadays
๐ŸŽถ I've mended all my ways
๐ŸŽถ Repented, seen the light, and made a switch
๐ŸŽถ To this
๐ŸŽถ True? Yes.
๐ŸŽถ And I fortunately know a little magic
๐ŸŽถ It's a talent that I always have possessed
๐ŸŽถ And dear lady, please don't laugh
๐ŸŽถ I use it on behalf
๐ŸŽถ Of the miserable, the lonely, and depressed (pathetic)

She then showed images of two mer people, and one was skinny and thin, and the other was fat and pudgy

๐ŸŽถ Poor unfortunate souls
๐ŸŽถ In pain, in need
๐ŸŽถ This one longing to be thinner
๐ŸŽถ That one wants to get the girl
๐ŸŽถ And do I help them?
๐ŸŽถ Yes, indeed

The two then became different, and they looked happy now.

๐ŸŽถ Those poor unfortunate souls
๐ŸŽถ So sad, so true
๐ŸŽถ They come flocking to my cauldron
๐ŸŽถ Crying, "Spells, Ursula, please!"
๐ŸŽถ And I help them!
๐ŸŽถ Yes I do

๐ŸŽถ Now it's happened once or twice
๐ŸŽถ Someone couldn't pay the price
๐ŸŽถ And I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals
๐ŸŽถ Yes I've had the odd complaint

The occupants watched the two mer folk turn into tiny creature, and they looked miserable.

Ursula
๐ŸŽถ But on the whole I've been a saint
๐ŸŽถ To those poor unfortunate souls

"She must cheat them! I know a snake when I see one," whispered Seth.

"Voi."

"Lap."

"Now, here's the deal," said Ursula, "I will make you a potion that will change you into a human for three days. Got that? Three days. Now listen this is important."

Seth then recorded the thing on his phone, and watched it from above.

"Before the sun sets on the third day. You have to have the prince kiss you. Not just any kiss. The kiss of true love. If he does kiss you before the sun sets on the third day, you'll remain human preeminently! But if he doesn't, you turn back into a mermaid and you belong to me! Have we got a deal?"

"So, if I become a human, I'll never be with my father and sisters again."

"That's right," said Ursula, with fake surprise, "but, you'll have your man."

She chuckled, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it? Oh, one more thing, we haven't discussed the subject of payment. You can't get something from nothing you know."

"but I have nothing to pay you for."

Seth then decided to take action, rather stupidly.

"Hello, I'm Seth, and, um, do you accept cash or check?"

Seth then pulled out money, and Sebastian facepalmed.

"Oh, yes, I know all about you. You want to help Ariel? Sorry. She has to be the one. She won't even miss what she gives! Now, what I want from you is... your voice."

"My voice?" asked Ariel.

"NO, DON'T!"

"Stay out of this boy, this is her decision. And yes, no more talking, singing, zip." Ursula popped her lips at the p.

"But with out my voice, how will I-"

Urusla

๐ŸŽถ You'll have your looks, your pretty face.
๐ŸŽถ And don't underestimate the importance of body language, ha!

Lapras then came down, and guarded Seth from harm, while Eva glared at Ursula

๐ŸŽถ The men up there don't like a lot of blabber
๐ŸŽถ They think a girl who gossips is a bore!
๐ŸŽถ Yet on land it's much prefered for ladies not to say a word
๐ŸŽถ And after all dear, what is idle babble for?
๐ŸŽถ Come on, they're not all that impressed with conversation
๐ŸŽถ True gentlemen avoid it when they can
๐ŸŽถ But they dote and swoon and fawn
๐ŸŽถ On a lady who's withdrawn
๐ŸŽถ It's she who holds her tongue who get's a man

"Oh dear," said Seth.

Ursula then brought a contract, and Ariel looked at it.

๐ŸŽถ Come on you poor unfortunate soul
๐ŸŽถ Go ahead!
๐ŸŽถ Make your choice!
๐ŸŽถ I'm a very busy woman and I haven't got all day
๐ŸŽถ It won't cost much
๐ŸŽถ Just your voice!
๐ŸŽถ You poor unfortunate soul
๐ŸŽถ It's sad but true
๐ŸŽถ If you want to cross the bridge, my sweet
๐ŸŽถ You've got the pay the toll
๐ŸŽถ Take a gulp and take a breath
๐ŸŽถ And go ahead and sign the scroll

Ariel looked at it, and quickly signed it.

"NOOOOO!"

"EEVOI!"

๐ŸŽถ Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys
๐ŸŽถ The boss is on a roll
๐ŸŽถ This poor unfortunate soul

Ursula then smiled evilly, and chanted

๐ŸŽถ Beluga sevruga
๐ŸŽถ Come winds of the Caspian Sea

The wind picked up, and swirled around Ariel and Ursula as the latter continued

๐ŸŽถ Larengix glaucitis
๐ŸŽถ Et max laryngitis
๐ŸŽถ La voce to me

"Now, sing!"

Seth watched, as Ariel sang.

"KEEP SINGING!"

"NO! DON'T DO IT! ARIEL, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!"

Ariel just sang, as two giant hands came, and went into her throat, and took out a yellow glowing orb, and put it in Ursula's shell.

She laughed, and Ariel's fin turned into legs, and Lapras quickly took her to the surface with Seth, Eva, Flounder and Sebastian in tow.
