Ariel was carried off, and she looked to see a temple.
"Well done you three," said Giovanni, "You have truly restored my trust in you."
"WOBBUFETT?!"
Giovanni rolled his eyes, and said, "You too."
Ariel was taken to a slab of stone, and it fit the mermaid perfectly. She tried to get free, but something kept her stuck to it. Then, the slab floated into the air, and Ariel was realizing what this was.
"No, you can't!"
"Shut your trap!" said Jessie, "We don't need you to talk, we need you to sing!"
"Now sing!" said James.
Ariel saw she had no choice, so, she took a breath.
As she sang, all around, the wind picked up, and water climbed from the sea and river near by, and into the temple. It then swirled around them all in a vortex.
"Keep singing!" yelled Giovanni.
The water went into the cracks, forming what looks like a sea king on the floor, and to the center.
"It's just as the legends told," said the scientist.
"Don't stop!" yelled Giovanni.
Ariel felt a small pain, but kept singing. She looked at the cracks, and saw that it was shaped just like her grandfather, Podesion, holding his trident.
The rescue party meanwhile, heard Ariel's singing, and saw the water was flowing in land on an island.
"That's Ariel! She's over there!" cried Seth.
"We have to hurry!" said Eric.
They raced off, and landed on the island.
Triton then appeared in the water, and said, "No, they're trying to get the lost Trident of Atlantica!"
"It's real?! I thought it was a legend!" said Sebastian.
"No, it's real, I should know. It was my fathers."
With Team Rocket, the water magically traveled to the center, where a pedestal stood, which was the center piece of the crown of the king, and the water then went into the pedestal, and made it sink into the ground, and open up. From the darkness, everyone saw a golden trident. Ariel recognized it as the Lost Trident of her Grandfather.
Ariel stared in disbelief as Giovanni walked up to it. The trident glowed as Ariel sang.
"It's here," said Giovanni, "And it's mine!"
He picked it up, and the water then moved at his command.
"I can now control the ocean!"
He then used it's magic, and Ariel screamed in pain.
"What's going on?" asked Eric.
"They need a mermaid to unlock it's power!" said Triton, "If they are successful, the mermaid then becomes one with the trident, even though she is still part of the ritual. Her soul is now connected to it!"
Soon, everyone arrived at the base, and looked up at Team Rocket.
"This calls for some real heavy artillery!" said Seth.
He then looked at his band, and said, "Lapras, it's time!"
"Charizard, let's do this!" said Red.
"Pikachu, let's go!"
Seth's band then glowed red, and he returned Lapras into her Poke Ball, and it grew larger. He threw it over, and Lapras came out, and grew.
Red then pressed the button on his band, and Charizard Mega Evolved.
"Now, let's go!" cried Ash.
Giovanni said, "Stall them. I will take care of the old man."
"LAPRAS, G-MAX RESONANCE!"
Lapras then summoned a large beam of ice, and she launched it at the Pokemon.
"Beedrill, poison jab!"
Beedrill then launched a furry of purple shots, and they hit Lapras, but not before hitting Meowth.
Jessie brought out Grimmlsnarl.
"Grimmlsnarl, use Brick Break!"
Grimmlsnarl then went forward, only to be grabbed by Charizard.
"SIZE-MIC TOSS, GO!"
Charizard lifted Grimmlsnarl into the air, and he spun in the air, and threw Grimmlsnarl to the ground!
"Okay Pikachu! Let's do this!"
Giovanni was taking on Triton, and was holding him off well.
"For an old man, you know how to fight!"
Ariel screamed in pain once more.
"RELEASE MY DAUGHTER, NOW!"
"Daughter? Well, that is an interesting development."
Even though they were evenly matched, the Lost Trident was more powerful. Giovanni then took the water out from under Triton, and he fell to the ground. Giovanni then kicked it away, and held him down with his foot.
"YOUR MAJESTY! YOU CAN'T GIVE UP!" cried Sebastian.
"The Lost Trident, is more powerful, than I will ever be," said Triton.
Giovanni then lifted the Trident over Triton's chest.
"Say goodbye to your father, little mermaid."
"EVA, TAKE DOWN ON GIOVANNI!"
Eva then raced off, and she took Giovanni down, and knocked the Trident out of his hands. Seth was quick to get it, and he put it back into the slab of stone it came from. Mewtwo then brought Ariel out with great force, and was careful.
"LAPRAS, ONE LAST G-MAX RESONANCE!"
Lapras then launched the attack once more, and launched all the bad guys away. Sadly, they were caught by grunts on an airship, and took off, back to their world.
Damn, they got away, said Mewtwo.
Ariel looked at Eric, and they hugged each other.
"She really loves him, doesn't she?" asked Triton.
"Yes, she does," said Sebastian.
"I guess there's just one problem left," said Triton.
"What?"
"How much I'm going to miss her."
He casted some magic, and Ariel's fin became legs once more. Eric saw this as well, and he spun her around, and the two kissed.
Even Mewtwo cried a bit.
"Mewtwo, are you crying?" asked Ash.
No, said Mewtwo, Allergies.
"Sure," said Seth, smirking.
Mewtwo then blew his nose.
A few days later...
Ariel and Eric were married.
They kissed, and Max got in between them to lick Ariel. Ariel's sisters all waved to her, and all the merfolk did as well. Sebastian was crying tears of joy, until Chef Louie was seen, and charged after the crab with a knife. Thankfully, Charizard, Incineroar, and Druddigun were there to help him out, with Eva and Pikachu above them. The three large Pokémon used flamethrower, and Louie fell back, letting out a small cough.
Sebastian then jumped into the water, saying, "YES!"
Triton then lifted himself up with the waves, and hugged Ariel, as she said, "I love you daddy."
Seth held his portal crystal to their world, and said, "We hope to see you all once more!"
"Goodbye Seth," said Ariel, "thank you for everything!"
They two hugged, and Ariel hugged her father.

The merfolk waved goodbye, and the trainers jumped through the portal with the Pokemon, and Ariel and Eric shared one last kiss.
