Summary: Everyone's played hide and seek, but never have the stakes been higher than they are now. Can Luz save her friends from the collector's twisted game, or will she become another puppet to play with.

The group heard a snap and looked up, seeing the Collector. Luz barely had time to blink when her friends and mother were brought to the sky and restrained behind the Collector.

"Hello, human." Collector said, "I've heard a lot about you."

Luz holds her staff, ready for a fight, only for Collector to make it disappear.

"No, you'll only get this back if you manage to win."

"Win?" Luz asked, "Win what?"

"A simple game." Collector said, sending crescent moons at Luz's friends and mom, "A game of hide and seek."

Luz's friends tried to struggle against the Collector's control, but were unable to before they were hit in the heads by them, turning all of them into puppets.

"NO!" Luz said, "Let go of them!"

"Hm, no." Collector said, "But, you can get them back."

The puppets disappeared and Collector went down to Luz.

"You see, this game is simple. Hide and Seek." Collector said, "All over the Titan I've hidden your friends, along with a few others you might know. Your job is to find them. Each time you find one, you'll receive a riddle to another one. There could be one puppet, maybe two, and if you're lucky, you could find three puppets in one place."

"Yeah, and what do I do when I find them?" Luz asked.

Collector floated above her and laughed.

"It's simple, you put a light glyph on them, and my spies will collect them." Collector said, "After that, they'll end up in a private room and I'll change them back. Get them all and I'll release the Isles."

"How can I be so sure that you'll actually do that? How do I know you're not just going to keep them as puppets?" Luz asked.

"Hmm, good point." Collector said, "How about I pinky swear?"

Collector held out his pinky for her to shake. Luz looked at it.

"If I find them all, you'll free the Isles." Luz said.

"But if you fail, then you'll become my personal puppet, and play with me all day, everyday, even if it means I break you into a million splinters." Collector said, "So, what will it be?"

Luz put her pinky against his.

"I'll play your game." Luz said, "And I'll win."

"Great!" Collector said, "You can move around the Titan freely and the Spies won't bother you."

Collector snapped his fingers and a note landed in Luz's hands.

"That has the riddle to where your first puppet." Collector said, "I'll even give you a hand and teleport you to the town they're in."

Luz was suddenly covered in a cloud of smoke and when it disappeared, she was gone.
