Japan; Light Yagami was quite content living in his family house since he was able to continue on as Kira and managing to prevent the world's greatest detective and his rival L from proving that he was Kira so L was told to stop harassing an innocent teenager. However he frowned as the so called 'superheroes' in the US were getting more tension as the 'Super Terrorists' popping up around the world was becoming almost a big a story as the Kira case. He would love to take care of them as his followers online pleaded to protect them but unfortunately without the names of these 'Super Terrorists' he could only do so much as he tried doing the superhero names in the Death Note but they did nothing.

He hated watching the subtitled news reports of Homelander's speech and those of his new girlfriend in the Seven called Stormfront; rallying up followers for their cause of putting superheroes in the military which would make them even more popular and those 2 leading a superhuman army was not in his vision for a new world. He hated Homelander; his smug face to the camera and his PR written speech giving soothing words but he was smart enough to see him as a fraud and how memes were used to make the public forget about the citizen killed in his reckless use of powers fighting a Super Terrorist.

However soon he got a parcel in the mail and he opened it to find a typed up letter; curiously he looked at it:

KIRA
WE BOTH KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND I TAKE NO PLEASURE IN HAVING TO DO THIS. I WISH THAT I HAD ANOTHER SOLUTION BUT UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS A COMMON FOE THAT WE BOTH HATE. THE HOMELANDER AS WELL AS STORMFRONT; THEY ARE TOO DANGEROUS TO BE LEFT ALIVE; YOU ARE MY BEST BET AT THE MOMENT.

"Enemy of my enemy; you know what the mortal saying says that is Light?" Ryuk asked before chomping on an apple and Light would never call L his friend but he took great amusement in what L must have been like when he forced himself to swallow his own pride like this. He then looked to the package and saw some files and it was all confidential files from Vought about Homelander and Stormfront.

"Should I take a trip to KFC because it looked like Christmas came early..." Light grinned managing to get a proper closest thing to a real name that the Homelander ever had: John Gillman and finding out that Stormfront was a Nazi and was married to Vought's founder? Well this resurgence of the 4th Reich was going to be stopped.

It was the latest rally of Homelander and Stormfront in front of their supporters and followers in a massive crowd with all sorts of camera phones and video cameras; however in the middle of Homelander making his speech he found a weird feeling in his heart that he never felt and so did Stormfront. Homelander thought this feeling felt alien and Stormfront was wondering why she was feeling weak when she hadn't had a health problem since her husband made her the first successful Compound V subject

They then yelled as clutching their chests they dropped to the ground and people came to check on them and had to give the news that they were dead: no pulse or anything. It seems that even Homelander; his own heart wasn't immune to a heart attack given by the Death Note.

A lot of faith in Vought and the superheroes were shaken as it seemed that they weren't the gods that people saw them as. However people began to realise that it had to be Kira's doing especially as afterwards the same fate came to other of Vought's heroes from Blue Hawk, the Deep and others who had their true identities and a list of their crimes in the files gifted to Light Yagami.

Homelander never took the Kira case seriously; believing that people were overreacting to a string of heart attacks and the so called 'L' was wasting his time as he didn't believe in the supernatural. He thought that he was the closest thing to a god or supernatural force ever and nothing could touch him; he was proven wrong in his final moments struggling to breathe as he experienced his first and last heart attack as well as Stormfront.

Those victimised by superheroes came to join Kira's cult as followers as the fear of Kira in the US came as they could target their heroes with not even the Homelander safe.

Not super into manga and or anime as others but I was thinking of trying another character that I admittingly am not too familiar with. Can't remember who it was thought. All I remember that it was a hero killer who would be willing to kill the Homelander as he is a Stain...
