Chapter 16:

Blake blinked at that statement and couldn't help but snicker at it. 'Another underground duelist then. I wonder if its someone I dueled before. Since he knows the name, I was given when challenging and then taking over the arenas champion position he must be confident in his skills …' "Whatever, time to send you rejects back to clown school."

Their duel disks activated and connected, resulting in Titan going first, followed by Jaden, then that other guy and finally himself. (Jaden + Blake 8000 / Titan + ? 8000)

"I'll start," Titan proclaimed and drew a card. "I summon Infernalqueen Archfiend. I'll also activate Pandemonium." The form of a grotesque looking fiend in a red robe was the first to appear on the field (900/1500), before the whole scenery changed. The ground turned into a sick green colour, steps and columns rose out of the ground and the walls around them got covered in red mist. "With that I'll end my turn."

Giving a nod to Blake, Jaden took his turn. "Alright, here I go!"

Before he could do anything after drawing for turn, Titan interjected. "Due to my Infernalqueens effect I can target one Archfiend monster during each standby phase to increase its attack by 1000 until the end of the turn!" With that, Titan's monster was engulfed in a red aura (1900/1500).

"Oh man, that's nuts!" Jaden replied and looked at his hand. "I summon Elemental HERO Avian in attack position and throw down a couple of face-downs!" The green-feathered hero appeared before Jaden (1000/1000), which earned him a raised eyebrow from his partner.

'We really have to talk about you summoning Avian like that. Didn't I tell you to play safe?' Blake thought with a slight grimace but said nothing, instead he focused on what their other opponent was doing. His mechanical voice boomed across the room as he made his move.

"A puny defense for puny little boys that think they're duelists, pah!" the giant exclaimed before smirking while their monster empowered herself once again. The lightning she gave off afterwards flew towards him, before it was absorbed by the surrounding Field Spell, to which Blake gave Jaden a short explanation while the man rambled on. "Now, destroy that puny hero!"

"Not so fast, buddy!" Jaden said with a grin as he flipped his first set card. "I activate Mirror Gate, which switches control of our monsters just long enough so that you take the damage instead of me!" As the tunnel of mirrors formed around the two monsters, a demonic looking die appeared the man's hand.

"I don't think so, boy. When Infernalqueen is targeted by one of my opponents cards I roll a six-sided die. If it lands on a 2 or 5, your effect is negated and its card destroyed", the man chuckled darkly and let the die fall. It jumped a few times before landing on a 2, shattering the Mirror Gate. "And without your little trap, your take the damage!" His fiend sliced apart Avian, inflicting heavy damage onto his opponents. (Jaden + Blake 7100 / Titan + ? 8000)

"Jeez, though crowd, but I'm not done yet! I activate Hero Signal, which lets me summon a level 4 or lower Elemental HERO from my hand or deck, and I choose Clayman!" The bulky hero appeared protectively in front of Jaden, too strong to be destroyed by that monster alone (800/2000).

Other than that, he only set a monster and a backrow. It was slightly unnerving how he only faced him and not Jaden, even when attacking, nor show his own cards. 'Alright then, keep your secrets. It won't matter' But Titan wasn't done here and pulled out his fake Millenium Puzzle once again, a bright flash coming out of it. "Your monster might protect you from another attack, but not from this! Don't your lifepoints seem so utterly insignificant, now that it's your very life that's at risk?"

Jaden blinked for a moment before noticing something off. "Hey, what's this? My arm?" Some fog had appeared all around the room, and it looked like parts of Jaden's body were just missing.

"It is the way of the shadows. Transcending the game, attacking your body!" Titan gloated. Jaden tried to move his feet but couldn't. "As the shadow fog rolls past, you all will feel the darkness taking you into its grip completely." Dark smoke rolled out into the room, making the Jaden and the others cough and clutch their necks, while Blake remained stoic. "You're at the mercy of the night now! Treasure the numbness for it will not last, soon you will be drawn into an infinite chasm of darkness where- "

"Yeah, yeah, nice little theatre speech you practiced there, but can we get back to business?" Blake asked flatly. The other boys looked at him, surprised to see that he stood there unaffected by everything that was going on, even looking bored. With the annoying Archfiend boosting itself to 1900 every turn he wouldn't be able to swing over her without tributing, which in turn would leave them wide open. With all of Jaden's face-downs used up and only Clayman defending them their field was too vulnerable. So, he set his Giant Germ and another face-down before passing back to Titan.

After their opponent's monster empowered itself and the cost for keeping it was dealt with due to their Field Spell once again, Titan made his move. "Let me show you just how weak you are. I summon Terrorking Archfiend!" Another equally grotesque demon appeared, brandishing a wicked-looking sword (2000/1500). "But this isn't all, I equip my Terrorking with Axe of Despair! Tremble before my might and despair!" Sheathing his blade, the fiend took up a massive axe, which infused him with dark green energy and shot him up to an uncomfortable amount of attack points (3000/1500).

With that Titan set his eyes onto Blake. "I'll attack your set monster with my Infernalqueen!" The monster sent out a wave of dark energy, destroying the hidden monster which in turn sent several spikes back into Titan. (Jaden + Blake 7100 / Titan + ? 7500)

"Thanks for destroying my Giant Germ. Not only do you get some payback but I'm also able to summon two more from my deck," Blake stated, with the two dark spheres appearing in front of him (1000/100).

"If you think those will safe you then you've thought wrong. Terrorking, show him his place!" While the monster did wield an axe, it instead opted for releasing a swarm of locusts onto its target, ripping it apart. Aside from dealing a good amount of damage to them, the attack also negated the Giant Germs effect to deal some damage back. (Jaden + Blake 5100 / Titan + ? 7500)

With that, he ended his turn, prompting Blake to encourage Jaden. "Come on Jaden, show him what you got."

"Yeah, a little darkness doesn't scare me! With everything going on at our dorm you can't be afraid of the dark, its great!" Jaden replied with a grin towards Titan.

Giving them another lightshow with his fake item, Titan taunted them. "It's your move. But make it count; it may be your last!"

Jaden just kept smiling for a few moments before drawing. "Here goes buddy! For my move I play Pot of Greed!" He drew another two cards and continued. "Then I fuse Elemental HERO Sparkman from my hand with the Clayman on my field with Polymerization! Now say hello to Elemental HERO Thunder Giant!" The hulking form of the fused hero touched down with a spark of lightning, the core on its front swirling with electrical energy (2400/1500). "And now I use his special ability, which lets me destroy a monster whose original attack points are lower than his! Thunder Giant, let loose!" Jaden discarded one card and his monster shot out bright blue lightning, but Titan just chuckled.

"I activate Terrorkings special ability, which is the same as my Infernalqueens!" Another die appeared and landed on a 5 this time, making Titan laugh even more. "I win again. It seems as though even fate isn't on your side half the time. And now you will pay the price!" Repelled by the dices shine, the lightning shot back and destroyed Jaden's monster instead. "Now all that's left is a little germ, and once it's gone, you're next!"

Jaden looked a bit distraught by how his move was countered and switched their remaining monster into defence position. "Sorry Blake, those effects are a tough nut to crack."

"Don't worry about it-," Blake was about to wave him off but stopped in his tracks when their unknown foe broke out in deep mechanical laughter.

"You've lost your touch, Titan. Even these kids can see through your cheap tricks," the man bellowed out as he reached over to his teammate and grabbed his golden pendant. He looked at it for a few second before ripping it out of Titan's hands, much to his anger.

"What?! How dare you-"

"No, how dare you!" the giants voice grew darker, his breathing more raspy and static. He raised the item in his hand and smashed it against the floor, shattering it into pieces before stomping on what remained of them. The smoke began to clear, causing Jaden and the others to cry out in surprise when his body returned to normal. "You make a mockery of the Shadow Games, have no respect for them nor realize what they truly are. But I do."

Suddenly shadows crept out of the ground below, drawing a smoky circle around the four duelists and clinging onto their feet. Now Jaden couldn't move for real. "W-what's this now?"

"This is a real Shadow Game now!" he proclaimed and even Titan seemed shocked at the very real force that was holding him in place. "And whoever loses the duel, loses their souls."

'That's a quote,' Blake couldn't help but think while looking down at the shadows clinging to his legs. 'Sooner than I expected and way more uncomfortable than I thought.' Despite this he wasn't scared, staring his opponents down resolutely. It didn't matter that this duel became a Shadow Duel a few turns earlier, nor that there was one more opponent to beat. They'd win and he'd make sure of it.

"And since it's now my turn I tribute my set Double Coston to summon Despair from the Dark!" From the set card rose a large black and red shadow, only glowing eyes and a wide grin were noticeable underneath as its large purple claws snapped, ready for action (2800/3000).

"Hey, that's a level eight monster! You need two tributes for that!" came the unqualified shout from the sidelines.

"Shut up" "Shut up, Syrus" the giant and Blake responded, to which the boy shrieked quietly and didn't say another word.

A moment later he sent his Infernalqueen to attack, only for Jaden to flip up the card Blake had set during his turn. "Not so fast, buddy! I activate Negate Attack!"

"Since it targets our monster, Infernalqueens effect is activated," their opponent said, but this time the luck wasn't on their side, negating the attack and ending their Battle Phase. "Hm, I'll end my turn here."

"Alright, time to deal with this mess," Blake stated and drew a card. "I activate Instant Fusion, which lets me summon a level 5 or lower Fusion Monster but it can't attack and gets destroyed at the end of my turn. Come out Deepsea Shark!" The form a great blue shark with a huge gem-like eye on its forehead appeared (1900/1600) when Blake felt a sharp pain run through his body. (Jaden + Blake 4100 / Titan + ? 7500)

He clicked his tongue when the pain subsided, ignoring the stares he got from his opponent. "Next, I'll tribute my shark to summon Great Maju Garzett! And he gains double the amount of attack points my shark had!" His own fiend rose from the ground, similar in size to his opponents Despair, but packing a lot more power (3800/0). "Get rid of that ugly queen, won't ya?" His monster grumbled before raising its fist, shattering its target without leaving it a chance to protect itself. (Jaden + Blake 4100 / Titan + ? 5600) The damage knocked Titan to his knees where he cried out in pain as a good chunk of cloth of his mantle was ripped up, along with the sound of a sick crunch, much to the horror of Jaden and the others.

"Wait, the damage is real? For real?" Jaden asked in disbelief as he looked at his partner, who looked at him from the corner of his eye.

"It is."

Jaden's eyes widened. "But you didn't react to the damage you took to activate your card at all! Why did he-"

"I'm used to worse," was the answer he got as Blake set a card with a grimace. That's a card he'd put in after losing to Bright but he was pretty sure none of their opponents used Burn damage. Hopefully they'd waste something on it, otherwise it was worthless.

Titan stood back up, trying to get the shadows of his legs, looking panicked as he searched for a way out. "This was not what we'd agreed on! Let me out of this!"

"No, I don't think I will. But if you're that scared from a little pain like that, then you're of no use to me," the masked man said menacingly as he raised his right hand towards the shadows, which swiftly crept up Titan's body, who in turn shouted in horror. "As such I believe the dark spirits you've offended with your cheap parlour tricks will make better use of your body. Have fun in the Shadow Realm."

Everyone else looked in horror as Titan's whole form was covered in dark shadows, his cries muffled before stopping completely. The sound of Syrus dropping his PDA tore through the silence before the shadows subsided, showing the man's form with bulging veins and glowing red eyes, flexing his muscles. "This will do nicely …" a distorted voice rang out from him before looking at Jaden and Blake. "Don't worry, we'll welcome you with open arms, just stop struggling."

Syrus now completely hid behind Chumley, shacking like a leaf, while the older boy picked up what he dropped with a shaky hand and kept it on what's happening.

"We summon Darkbishop Archfiend," the new voice said and another fiend took to the field. This one was clad in blue robes and held onto a staff decorated with skulls (300/1400). "But he won't be around for long for we activate Checkmate." The Terrorking on the field looked at the other archfiend before smiting it in a ray of energy, destroying it instantly while absorbing some of its power. "By tributing another Archfiend, our Terrorking is allowed to attack directly this turn."

Blake clicked his tongue once again at the convoluted way to attack them like that. He braced himself for the attack but his eyes widened when Jaden was the target instead. Another swarm of locusts erupted and formed into a ball which crashed into Jaden, who slumped down while crying out in pain before the shadows crept all around him. (Jaden + Blake 1100 / Titan + ? 5600)

"Jaden!" "Jay!" Chumley and Syrus shouted in horror when he hit the ground, unmoving.

"Fuck," Blake hissed and wanted to move over and check on him, but the dark tendrils holding him wouldn't let go. "Jaden, you got this! Don't let them get to you!" Where was that fucking dragon at times like this?!

"That's a shame, a duelist that can't keep up is a duelist that has lost," the shadowy voice said as it switched Despair into defence mode.

A soft but hurried cooing noise filled the room as the very much not transparent form of Winged Kuriboh broke through the wall and flew to Jaden, fighting off the shadows creeping over him. After brushing them away it cooed over and over again, shaking Jaden until he coughed. "Ouch … that really hurt … oh, hey buddy. You here to help me?" The spirit nodded and cooed once again and when Jaden worked to stand up the shadows returned, only to back off immediately when his eyes shone with a piercing gold.

'Again? Is that a good thing or not?' Blake pondered as he watched his partner get up and look over to him. The shadows scurried away from both of them in fright, then Jaden's eyes returned to normal.

"Man, this really wasn't how I expected my evening to go," he said and rubbed his chest, wincing at the bruise he probably took from that attack. "But that won't stop me, it's my turn! I hope you don't mind me using your monster, Blake. Great Maju, attack their Terrorking!" Neither Blake nor his monster seemed to mind, as the later burst into action, crushing the other demon beneath its foot and sending out a harsh shockwave that had the shadow-controlled Titan rear back in pain. (Jaden + Blake 1100 / Titan + ? 4800)

"To end my turn, I activate Mirage of Nightmare and set a card," Jaden announced, ready to pull of his combo.

With a stronger monster on their side, their other opponent reinforced their defences with a set monster and two face-downs, unbothered by whatever Jaden was doing.

"Hey, before you end your turn, I activate Emergency Provisions! With that I can send any number of Spell and Trap cards from our side to the graveyard and get 1000 lifepoints for each!" Jaden exclaimed looking at his partner who in turn nodded to his own face-down. "I'll send my Mirage of Nightmare and our set card for some juicy 2k!" (Jaden + Blake 3100 / Titan + ? 4800)

Blake felt a bit invigorated when he drew, while Jaden looked like he didn't get hurt at all. "Great Maju, take down his Despair!" The demon surged forward only to be stopped by a large wheel that he got strapped onto.

"Your Maju has done enough, I think he earned himself a timeout on my Nightmare Wheel," his opponent chuckled darkly, causing Blake to have a dejavu. One of his duels back in the underground arena looked strikingly similar to this, but who did he fight against?

With not much he could do he set his trusty Mystic Tomato as another line of defence next to his remaining Germ and ended his turn, much to the delight of 'Titan'.

"If you thought you're in a bad spot earlier, then you have no idea how bad it is now!" he cackled while the Nightmare Wheel turned and shot a set of spikes the tore holes into Blakes shirt (Jaden + Blake 2600 / Titan + ? 4800) "First, I activate Pot of Greed, then I switch Despair from the Dark back into attack position. Then I summon Vilepawn Archfiend!" Luckily the hideous fiend didn't stay for long, but perhaps Blake would've prepared that to the next. "I activate Double Summon so I can tribute him in order to summon Skull Archfiend of Lightning!" The form of Summoned Skull's first, shitty, retrain appeared with a striking lightning whose thunder was deafening (2500/1200).

"Now I activate my Block Attack to move your Maju into defence position, which'll leave him helpless! Skull Archfiend, get rid of that germ! Despair, crush that Maju!" Sadly, the archfiends effect negated Blake's monsters' effect for another piece of chip-damage, but he'd prefer that over it negating his witch. If that stupid dragon wouldn't come to his hand by himself, then he'd get him with her. While it's bad that his powerful Maju was gone, it was better than losing to that bit of steady damage if none of them drew removal.

Jaden drew and with a hand of five he grinned at his partner. "Looks like we're in quite the bind, huh? Time for a hero to save us from all these demons! I activate The Warrior Returning Alive and get back my Avian! But I'm not done yet; I activate Polymerization and fuse my Avian and Burstinatrix to summon Elemental HERO Flame Wingman!" The heroic form of Jaden's first ace-monster appeared, more than ready to burn down the building (2100/1200).

"What good is a hero as weak as that?" their opponents taunted in unison, only for Titan to lose his smirk when his Field Spell was overtaken by the scape of a bustling city.

"He's not weak at all, especially not when fighting on his own turf!" Jaden responded with a wide smile. "My Skyscraper gives any of my Elemental HERO monsters a whooping 1000 attack points if they attack a monster stronger than them! Go, Flame Wingman, there's no place for a hero to despair, so destroy theirs! Skydive Scorcher!"

From his spot on top of the tallest skyscraper the winged hero descended with his red arm blazing in fire, destroying his target (Jaden + Blake 2600 / Titan + ? 4500) before shooting a burst of flames at their masked opponent, who cried out in pain while parts of his outfit were burned away, even his mask cracking under the intense heat. (Jaden + Blake 2600 / Titan + ? 1700)

With Jaden's turn ended, their wounded and smoking opponent slowly rose to his feet, pieces of his facemask shattering and falling out as his revealed eyes blazed in fury. Not at Jaden, but at Blake. The rest of his face was revealed and it looked sorely disfigured with his eyes wide open, his mouth in a seemingly permanent look of horror and electrical scars running all across it.

"… Panik?" Blake realized. That's why he knew who he was. That's why he looked at Titans fake Millenium Puzzle and broke it like he did. Why he never took his eyes off him, even when Jaden caused him so much pain. While the sight was anything but nice to look at, he couldn't help but smile viciously at the man who would've put him in this state if he had lost back then. "Looks like you really shouldn't have put so much voltage on our gear back then, man you look even worse than that freaky clown from Duelist Kingdom. No wonder you need a mask."

Even disfigured like that, Panik could communicate his hate clearly through his mimic. "You can laugh as much as you want now, but you won't once I sent you to the Shadow Realm! I'll have my revenge for what you did to me!" He played a Pot of Greed before gloating at his new cards. "It's time end this. I activate my Ritual Spell End of the World! By tributing my set monster and Fear from the Dark from my hand I ritual summon Demise, King of Armageddon!"

The tall armoured demon appeared from a burst of blue flames, striking the non-bladed part of his axe in ground in front of him (2400/2000) 'That's not good, but at least they don't have enough lifepoints to use his effect. We'll have a bit more to work with like this -' Blake thought and counted the cards that would help them out here but paused when the Skull Archfiend was tossed into a giant wok. 'As if he'd thought of that, that's bullshit! He's way too high and mighty to have a backup like that!'

It seemed like his thoughts were well portrayed on the outside as Panik laughed at them. "You thought I wouldn't be able to use my Demises effect, didn't you? No, by offering our Skull Archfiend to the Mystic Wok we get its attack points as lifepoints! (Jaden + Blake 2600 / Titan + Panik 4200) And with that we'll have more than enough to use his effect. Demise, unleash Armageddon Inferno!" (Jaden + Blake 2600 / Titan + Panik 2200)

He grunted as the flames touched him to ignite the whole field but he took it, while everything else was burned to cinders. The skyscrapers collapsed into piles of smouldering ash, the flaming hero was consumed by the blue fire and Blake's witch was burnt. Oddly fitting.

"There's nothing left to defend you, Hound. Your demise is imminent," Panik spat out as he ordered his monster to attack. It rushed forward, axe ignited, and slashed down at Blake, who stumbled backwards with a loud grunt of pain as a cutting wound opened down his chest, even chipping his hat, while everything else was hit by the flames. (Jaden + Blake 200 / Titan + Panik 2200)

Jaden watched in horror as his friend collapsed down to one knee, a gaping wound on his chest that was luckily cauterized by the flames. It had also burnt away his sleeves, sweatbands, and bandages. He couldn't help but gasp at the revealed scars, much like Syrus and Chumley did when they saw them. Where did he get those from? Was that the pain he talked about earlier? Was that why this Panik guy knew him? Was he the one that caused them? His mind raced with questions only to stop when he noticed Blake getting back up, but …

Blake had a feral grin on his face, his eyes shot wide open as if reenergized. But it didn't look like mere adrenaline to Jaden, he had felt that himself earlier. No, Blake looked like he enjoyed that hit, he looked more alive than even in the duel against him! While his left hand spasmed sporadically, he used his other to feel the fresh wound on his front only to look at his opponent in vicious glee even more. Jaden gulped.

"How nice of you to destroy my witch, now I finally have the stupid card I was waiting for," his partner shouted ecstatically as he received the card from his deck. "My turn! Tche, I set a monster."

He couldn't help but wince at that. Just one monster to defend them from one that could destroy the whole field?! But, if they really lost, then …

"Demise, burn them again," the raspy voice of the other man said before it grunted in pain (Jaden + Blake 200 / Titan + ? 200) while their last line of defence was burnt to ash. "It's over, you lost. Welcome to the Shadow Realm!" Jaden could only watch as another attack came, Winged Kuriboh even hopped in front of him protectively but it didn't reach. No, the familiar form of Blake's Necro Gardna took the hit, saving them from …

"A futile attempt, there's nothing you can do to stop this," the man said and set a card.

With a shacking hand, Jaden reached towards his deck as something flashed in front of his eyes and he drew with newfound confidence. Confidence and purpose. His voice sounded a bit weird now. Probably from all the stress, right? "I activate Fusion Recovery to return Polymerization and Sparkman. Next, I activate Polymerization to fuse Sparkman and Bladeedge from my hand. Come forth, Elemental HERO Plasma Vice!"

The bulked-up form of Sparkman appeared, armed with electrified parts of Bladeedge's armor (2600/2300). "I discard my last card to activate Plasma Vice's effect to destroy your monster," Jaden said cooly when golden lightning destroyed their opponents remaining monster. This was it. "Plasma Vice, direct attack." The glowing hero rushed forward to deliver the final strike … but was stopped by a mirror globe that destroyed him instead.

"Not when I activate my Mirror Force, no."

Jaden's heart pumped. He had no card in hand, no monster on the field and no trick left. Panik didn't have any either, so everything would come down to him drawing anything that could inflict a measly 200 points of damage. Winged Kuriboh looked at him with concern and he could feel a dark rush inside of him as he watched his opponent. But he could only grimace. He ended his turn, no monster, no face-down, nothing! He looked at his partner who still had cards in hand. Who he knew had tons of ways to get more cards and monsters, he could do it. He would end this nightmare and the shadows.

Blake drew and Jaden held his breath. When Blake looked at his card his grin only grew wider. "It's funny how you try so desperately to use the darkness, the shadows, for your own gain when you only understand so little of it. When they find you as hideous as I do," he taunted. "I activate Allure of Darkness, two new shiny cards for me and one that didn't help gone." There it was, he had to have drawn something. "Now I activate Pot of Avarice, shuffling back my Witch, Tomato and Maju, so only my three Germs remain, as well as Jaden's Avian and Burstinatrix. Would you look at that, we only have three Dark monsters in our graveyard! Good thing my witch brought me this present earlier. Rise, Dark Armed Dragon!"

The hulking form of the dragon scraped across the floor, looking pretty pissed off and causing the remaining dark spirits to back off even further (2800/1000). But wait, if Blake attacked, that meant that their opponents would … "This time you won't get away with some scars, Panik. No, you never should've crawled back to challenge me. I equip my Dark Armed Dragon with Megamorph." The dragon swelled in power a brutal look on his face and spouting a lot of no-no words that Jaden somehow managed to ignore. A chill ran down his spine when Blake spoke next. "Kill them."

The dragon coiled his tail and swept their opponents from their legs as he raised both of his hands who were covered in spiked, metallic drills as they descended with deafening noise. Despite the metallic screeching, the screams came through. Jaden held his ears to get aways from the noise and Winged Kuriboh shielded him from the sight. It reminded him of his childhood, when his own card did terrible things to his opponents. He remembered and his heart beat strongly when he whispered its name in a dark tone. "Yubel."

And that's the duel at the Abandoned Dorm! Some of you have seen easily through who the fourth duelist was going to be, so I consider my hints well done. And wasn't this duel way too close for comfort considering the stakes? The things Blake hid from the others were revealed, at least to a few of them, Jaden remembers something very important and continues to have early signs of using what is hidden beneath. And boy, weren't they crazy towards the end? How they will react to everything they have seen down there and what becomes of them once security arrives ... we'll have to see next time.

Reviews! We breached 20k views, y'all are amazing!
Why did Blake lose to a canonically no-name character with a strategy that isn't well liked? Well, he was quite overconfident after beating Jaden, and with his knowledge and skill who can blame him? After beating so many other no-names, why'd he worry? He didn't, karma. He took it well, cause they're something akin to friends but he was still salty, which in turn almost messed up his duel this time with bricking the card he added against Burn decks.
You enjoyed how I handled the Tag Force girls last chapter? Awesome! Glad I could do that with what little I know and have to work with. There's certainly more to come, especially now that one of them had been saved from a precarious situation. There wasn't much of Alexis or Kami this time, but next time there'll be a short insight onto what they witnessed, along with a special surprise once things escalate.

On another note, if you enjoy my writing and are interested in other fandoms, like say Pokémon, then you might be interested in watching out for my other story that'll have its first chapter published today, titled "Rocketing to the Top".

As always thank you for reading and reviewing, until next time!
